Iridonia. En route to the abandoned training facility.Savage sat in the cockpit of the Sith Interceptor. A relic from several millenia ago. Modified and upgraded to rival the Interceptors of this day and age. The Zabrak's mind was full of anger and frustration. Why would his father so brazenly choose to defy him? There was no chance Xander was going to find any sort of power on Iridonia. Savage had made certain of that. All of Xander's previous hideouts and strongholds had been raided and sacked. Anything that even looked remotely valuable had been taken. Xander was in for a surprise once he arrived at the training facility's location. But Savage figured it would play out much better if he waited and allowed his father to see for himself...*** Iridonia. High Orbit.Commodore King stood at the helm of the Legacy of the Void, Lord Savage's personal flagship, as it was bearing down on the Imperious-Class Star Destroyer that belonged to his father. Grand Admiral Bennette was present via hologram.Immobilizer group, move up. Victory group, pincer maneuver. Void, remain on that heading. Starport firing control, prepare to fire on my mark. Target the exact location on the enemy ship that Rampant has pointed out. Marauder group, maintain formation around the Immobilizers. Commodore, if that ship so much as flickers a running light suspiciously, open up on it.King nodded curtly."Understood, Grand Admiral."The hologram faded out. King continued to issues orders."Have all forward batteries powered up. I want targeting solutions on any weak point we can hit at this range. Divert all non-essential systems to the forward deflectors. Engines, reduce speed by half and hold this heading."Various "Aye Sirs" rang out from across the bridge. King continued to watch out the main view-port. He hoped that this wasn't going to escalate further, but he had enough experience with Xander Savage to know well enough that anything was possible...

Iridonia. Hidden Training Facility.
The speeder that Xander had commandeered slowed to a stop as he approached the facility.
It had been years since he had actually been to this facility. Most of the appearances he made here were via hologram. Valafar had been the one living and training here. While Valafar had been a worthy apprentice, he wasn't too broken up over the loss of him. Besides, Valafar was going to need his clan brother if they were to survive. Now that he was going to be actively pursuing them, it would only be a matter of time before he caught up with them.
Xander hopped out of the speeder and approached the door. Unsurprisingly, the door did not open automatically. Without hesitation, Xander clenched his fist, igniting the left forward facing blade of his double saber. Carving into the door, Xander gave it a push with a kinetic blast from his right hand. The now free chunk of durasteel fell inwards. Xander stepped through the freshly carved opening. Lights automatically flickered to life, revealing the chaos left behind from his son and his lackeys. Tables were overturned, cabinets were left open. Papers and datapads littered the floor. Annoyance flared within him at the sight of the mess. Ignoring it, Xander strode through the facility, cloak billowing out behind him. Finally he reached the main lift. It looked as though someone had unsuccessfully tried to hack the control pad and force it open. But Xander's encryption was better then average. Keying in the appropriate sequence, the doors parted. Xander stepped in and spun around. He then keyed in the appropriate level. The doors closed and the lift descended into the depths of the facility.
Xander hadn't wanted to go this route, but his son forced his hand. And with most of his secrets out in the open, Viox was going to be a challenging new adversary to beat. Although he preferred to have his son as an ally, he knew that it was no longer possible. There was too much hatred and mistrust between them now, in no small part due to Xander's manipulations. But at least Xander still had a chance to stand on par with his son. At least until he figured out how to rid the essences of the Elders from him and weaken the newfound strength he currently possessed.
Finally the lift slowed to a stop and the doors parted. Xander exited the lift and strode down the hall. As the doors at the end slid open, it revealed an enormous cave. Xander slowed his pace as he came to the end of the walkway. On the terminal before him, he keyed in another sequence and the repulsors on the platform engaged. The platform then made its way to the center of the room where Xander's secret ally hung, suspended in a ray shield. As Xander approached, the being acknowledged him in an alien dialect.
"Master. Is it time for me to serve you once more?"
As the platform slowed to a stop and hovered on the spot, Xander's white pupils scanned over the being. He then spoke.
"Yes, my faithful servant. It is time for you to serve me once more. Together we will make the galaxy tremble at the sight of us. Savoris Ven. I release you from your imprisonment!"
Xander raised his hands up, lightning crackling between his fingers. As the charge built, Xander extended his arms out before himself and unleashed a wild barrage of lightning. Due to the conductive coils of the ray shield, the bolts arched all over the room. As the bolts found their targets, the coils creating the ray shield exploded. Several of these explosions dotted the outer walls of the cavern. As Xander ceased his barrage, he lowered his hands and watched Savoris as he dropped to the ground. Xander grinned, maintaining eye contact with his servant. He extended his left hand out to his left, summoning a large and unwieldy looking Vibrosword. The hilt of the blade slapped Xander's palm.
"If you are going to serve me once more, you'll be needing this..."
A sly smirk crossed Xander's face as Savoris stepped forward, flexing and stretching. Reaching out with a clawed hand, Ven took the blade from Xander. Savoris growled a deep and guttural growl, then knelt down before Xander. In his alien tongue, he spoke.
"At last I am given purpose once more. To consume the enemies of my master. I, Savoris Ven, will serve you until you no longer require me."
Xander's smirk widened.
"Indeed. You have made the Dashade proud. Ferocious and powerful, you will be set loose on my enemies with my blessing. Now let us leave here. Our foe closes in and we are not prepared to fight him just yet."
Savoris stood up.
"I will take what power I have and consume this enemy!"
Xander keyed the platform to return to its dock.
"You would foolishly sacrifice yourself, were you to commit to that course of action. No. There will be a time and a place for us to truly show the galaxy what we are capable of. But not right now."
As Xander walked off the platform, Ven fell into step a pace and a half behind him.
"As you wish, my master."
The duo continued to walk in silence, reaching the lift. Xander keyed in the code as the doors closed. The lift then ascended to the ground floor, where Xander's son had finally caught up to him...

Iridonia. Abandoned Training Facility.
As Xander carried out his final act of desperation, Viox had closed in on him. Gripping the controls of his fighter, he gracefully landed the nimble fighters on a large flat mesa a few hundred meters from the main entrance. Hitting the release on the canopy, Savage climbed up and out of the fighter's cockpit. His boots crunched on the dirt as he made his way towards the building. The harsh, arid wind whipped up dust and granules of dirt. Savage merely squinted slightly and kept walking. His cloak flapped and fluttered behind him as he walked. Approaching the building's entrance, he took note of the speeder, carelessly abandoned a few meters away. And then he was at the door.
Alright, father. What could be so bloody important to you here, that you'd risk imprisonment and death? he thought to himself. It wasn't adding up. But at the same time, Savage knew better than to underestimate his father. He was manipulative and deceptive. Despite completely ransacking the place and taking everything that even remotely looked useful, he wouldn't have been surprised if there was an entire cache that they had missed.
Savage stepped up on to the slagged scrap of the door. Scanning his surroundings, he clenched his jaw. Anger brewing, Savage inhaled deeply.
"FATHER! COME OUT AND FACE ME!" he bellowed as loud as he could.
After several seconds of silence, he roared in anger. And that's when he heard the lift arrive on this level. He turned to face it. As the doors parted, his father and a... his eyes widened in realization.
A Dashade. Impossible. They've been extinct for several millenia, he thought.
Recovering his composure quickly, he glared at his father as he and the Dashade walked towards him. He spoke once they were close enough. His words laced with malice.
"I offer you a chance to serve me and live. You defy me. I offer you a chance to gallivant across the galaxy with only one Shadowtrooper as an escort. You defy me. You are incapable of doing even the simplest things without supervision, aren't you? Like a bratty, petulant child. It ends. Now. This is your final chance to comply. Consider yourself fortunate to have received this chance. Refuse my final offer and I will slay you and your pet where you stand. Of that you can be certain..."
Savage trailed off, allowing his words to sink in. And for a moment his father seemed to be considering what had just been said. At least he had been, until his eyes locked with Viox's. And then he knew that his father wasn't going to go down without a fight...

Iridonia. Abandoned Training Facility.
As Xander and his newly reacquired servant, a Dashade named Savoris Ven, exited the lift, Xander's son Viox was already waiting for them. As Viox spoke, the Dashade stepped forward and snarled a response. Xander merely grinned.
"I will consume you, little Sith. You shall not harm my master!"
Xander then decided to speak before Ven decided to attack Viox simply on principle.
"No, Viox. You will not stop me. Having uncovered most of my secrets, you have forgotten on very important element. I too, know what needs to be done for the final ritual. Why do you think I worked so hard to ensure young Valafar remained under my care? To keep one half of the puzzle in my sight at all times. And Venom was supposed to be your apprentice, keeping him within arms reach of me. Unfortunately, Venom did not have what it took. At least not then. But I have seen him now. He and his Clan brother have embraced the darkness! Driven by a lust for vengeance, Venom seeks the death of you and all those who have wronged him, my self included. As I expected this from someone as nearsighted as him, it plays right into my ultimate goal. I WILL succeed this time around. I can guarantee that. And while you uncovering most of the secrets of the Tome of the Ancients did not factor in to my endgame, it makes little difference as I already have what I want. The makings of an Empire and allies willing to fight for my cause. Make no mistake, my son, you are way out of your element here. I have had centuries to plan this. And I have the patience to wait even longer to ensure all the pieces fall exactly where I want them to. You cannot stop me..."
Xander trailed off and grinned. Clenching both his fists, the forward facing blades of his double sabers ignited. He looked to his son once more.
"You cannot stop me, even with the power of the Elders at your disposal. You may be powerful, but you are unstable. And that will be your downfall!"
Xander growled those last words as he lunged towards his son, Savoris Ven following closely behind him. This time, Viox would not be able to stop Xander so easily...

Savage listened to his father's words, but they rang hollow. Even with a Dashade as an ally, he would not succeed here. As formidable as a Dashade was, his father had to know that there was no way they were going to win. Especially since this is exactly what the spirits of the Elders wanted. Xander dead. Had this been a battle to further Viox's own goals, they may not have granted him the power he needed. But facing off against the one they wanted dead, they were sure to funnel every ounce of power they had available to them, to fuel Viox's abilities. No, Xander would not be walking away from this. As Xander and his pet Dashade lunged forward, time seemed to slow as the echoes of the Elders filled his mind, more clearly than ever before.
He is a fool. Crush him! He cannot hope to stand against us. Not this time. Do what much be done!
Time resumed its normal pace. Savage grinned and tensed up, gathering the Force around him. Wisps of black mist seemed to encircle him as he drew power. Savage then extended his right hand and expelled a powerful kinetic blast, shoving Xander back. With Xander temporarily removed, he shifted his focus on the Dashade. As the Dashade brought the massive Vibrosword he was wielding to bear, Savage dove to the left as the blade passed through the air where he had been mere seconds ago. It clanged loudly on the floor as it cracked the duracrete. Still grinning, Savage stepped in close to the Dashade, bringing his mechanical left hand to bear. With a sickening crunch, the prosthetic appendage caught the Dashade square in the right side of his jaw, undoubtedly fracturing bones. As the Dashade reeled from the force of the blow and howled loudly in pain, Savage gathered the Force once more and expelled another powerful kinetic blast, catching the unsteady Dashade off balance and throwing him across the room. As Savage turned to focus on Xander, he was upon him. Rapidly back stepping and ducking to avoid Xander's vicious slashed, Savage counted the swings, watching carefully for a break in Xander's technique. With mere feet to spare before he was trapped up against a wall, Savage suddenly ducked and shifted directions, launching himself forward. Now that he was inside Xander's reach, he reached out with a swift uppercut from his right hand. A startled Xander staggered backwards. As he did so, Savage amplified his agility with the Force. He jumped straight up, tucking his legs in as he rose. Once his feet were parallel with his father's chest, he extended them with all his might. A loud Oof! escaped Xander's lips as he was sent backwards. Landing on the ground on his back, he used his backwards momentum to enter a hand stand and cartwheel himself back up to his feet. As he landed, the Dashade was behind him. The large brute wrapped his arm around him. And that's when he decided it was time to stop toying with them. Gathering the Force around himself once more, as the Dashade was trying to squeeze the life out of him, Savage repulsed the gathered energy. The Dashade's grip broke and he was thrown backwards. Savage landed on his feet. Unfortunately the Dashade didn't go nearly as far back as he had hoped. The whole resistance to the Force was really a pain in the ass. As the Dashade closed in again, Savage plucked his lightsaber hilt from his belt with his right hand. Thumbing only one of the activation studs, he spun about, raising his blade just fast enough to catch the Dashade's large Vibrosword. The orange blade screeched and sizzled as it was held against the Vibrosword. The Dashade, who had thick blood trickling down from his mouth, roared in his face. Savage merely gritted his teeth and held the Dashade at bay. Though, if he wanted to avoid an awkward situation, he needed to move. Summoning the raw physical strength, he slowly began to force the Dashade back. Much to the large beast's surprise. As his senses twinged, he gave one almighty shove, breaking contact with the Dashade, and leapt up and over the Dashade. Landing behind him, the smell of singed cloth greeted his senses. That had been entirely too close. Xander's blade had just managed to catch Savage's trailing cloak. Shrugging out of it, he thumbed the other activation stud and twirled the hilt in his hand, causing the blades to spin. As sweat began to bead on his brow, both of his hearts thumping in his chest and his breathing increased, he was still showing no immediate signs of slowing. Which was good because now Xander and his Dashade were charging him. Twirling the blade once more and gripping it in a more defensive posture, he prepared for what was going to happen next...

As Xander lunged towards his son, he was suddenly caught by a surprisingly powerful blast of kinetic energy, picking him up off the ground and sending him flying backwards. Landing, Xander hit the ground, harder than he'd like and skidded a few feet backwards. Clearly this wasn't going to be as easy as he thought. As Xander recovered from the blast, Savoris Ven was already upon Viox. Bringing the massive vibrosword above his head, he gripped it tightly in both hands and brought it down with the intent to cleave the puny Sith in half. Moving with speed the Dashade hadn't seen in eons, the smaller Zabrak dove out of the way as the blade came down and impacted hard with the duracrete floor. The sound from the blow echoed within the main room. As Savoris tried to track the Sith's movements, pain suddenly shot through the right side of his jaw. Reeling, Savoris howled in pain and anger. Before he could recover from that, the Sith expelled another blast of kinetic energy. Catching Savoris off balance, the large Dashade was sent sailing across the room. Hitting the ground and skidding several feet, he slammed both fists down on the floor in frustration and growled angrily. Collecting himself, Savoris reached for his blade and rose to his feet. As the Dashade recovered, Xander was once more engaging his son. Slashing with the forward facing blades, Viox deftly back stepped to avoid the swings. Gritting his teeth in anger, Xander moved faster, trying to inflict some kind of wound on his son. Just enough to slow him down. Noticing that they were nearing the wall, he grinned. Seconds before they were up against the wall, Viox ducked and sprang forward so suddenly that Xander was unable to prevent what happened next. A swift uppercut connected on his chin, causing his whole body to snap backwards, stunned. As he staggered back, Viox jumped up and then extended his feet, hitting Xander square in the chest. With the sudden force of the impact, he was winded and sent backwards. Stunned and confused at this point, he slid across the floor. While not coherent of the battle at that present moment, he growled angrily.
This is not possible! He cannot beat me here! My plans cannot fail! he thought to himself.
As he pulled himself back to his feet, rubbing his chin, Savoris had managed to get behind Viox. Wrapping his thick, muscular arms around the smaller Sith, he began to squeeze in an attempt to crush the Zabrak. Just as Savoris was about to tighten his grip a little more, his grip was broken and he was sent backwards. While in mid air, he recovered, landing on his feet and skidding to a halt. Shifting his grip on the vibrosword, he charged at the Sith. As he brought it to bear again, the Sith finally activated his lightsaber, catching the blade and holding it a bay. As small rivulets of blood trickled down his chin, Savoris roared loudly in the Zabrak's face, flecks of spittle flying. Much to Savoris' surprise, the small Zabrak merely gritted his teeth and began to push him back. An unusual feeling for the Dashade, to be certain. Not many could summon the sheer strength to push the large Dashade back. Noticing out of his peripherals that his master was rapidly approaching, Savoris continued to hold the Sith as best he could. In one swift movement, the Sith shoved Savoris' blade away and jumped up and over him as Xander attempted to strike. Catching only the Sith's cloak, Viox landed behind Savoris. Shrugging out of his smoldering cloak, he thumbed the other activation stud on his blade. A second blade sprang to life as he twirled it about. Assuming a defensive position, Savoris grumbled, looking to Xander. With a slight nod, both Xander and Savoris charged forward. It was time to end this. Despite their combined power, they were losing. They needed to get away, and soon. Bringing his blades up, Xander allowed Savoris to get slightly ahead of him. As Savoris attacked, Xander dove to the Dashade's left, sprang up and pressed the attack as Savoris was shoved away. Gritting his teeth, Xander pressed, striking blow after blow against Viox's defenses, hoping to wear him down. Though, in truth it didn't appear to be having the desired effect. So he needed to draw him out with a feint so they could flee...

The battle was utter chaos. Xander and the Dashade were giving it their absolute all to try and drive him back, but there were barely holding him at bay. An interesting development. The power of the ancients was much more than he anticipated. His reflexes were unmatched. His agility was inhuman. And his strength was nearly god-like It was addicting. So very addicting. It was like drinking from a goblet of fine wine. And he drank from it deeply. The ominous purple flames continued to emanate from his eyes and the black tendrils of transparent smoke danced around his aura. Normally his muscles would be screaming in protest at him. His energy would be dwindling. And he would be on the verge of defeat. His father, alone was a highly skilled combatant. And combined with the Dashade? If he didn't have the power of the ancients to draw upon, he would have lost this fight already. Parrying a strike from his father, he used his forward momentum to spin, bringing up a booted foot. Catching his father once more in the chest, sending him careening away, it was him and the Dashade. The large beast charged him. With a grin, he relaxed his stance and delved into the the deep recesses of the Force. As the beast neared, he held out his right hand, palm facing up, fingers curled upwards. The Dashade was hoisted off the ground. Beginning to slowly clench is fist, curling his fingers inwards to his palm, the Dashade began to howl in agony and rage. The massive vibrosword clattered noisily to the ground. And even his father halted in his advance, eyes wide.
"Enough! This ends now, father! Your pet dies and you will become my personal slave..."
He was done playing around. With the powers granted to him by the ancients, he would crush the Dashade and enslave his father. His father's machinations would cease here. He was going to guarantee it. Or he'd kill them both...
