**Deep in the Shadowlands of Kashyyyk, ruins from a bygone empire still existed. Remnants of tall towers and busy factories now lay in ruins and take over by dark and sinister lurking creatures. The old academy now a footnote of what it once was and will never be again. The air was stale and stagnant, heavy with the pungent decay that existed across the shadowlands. Silent the night was, broken suddenly by a loud crack that pierced the night air. Slowly the ground began to shake and rumble, protesting as a dark force began to manifest in what once was an open courtyard to the former academy. Creatures scattered as the rumbling intensified. A Purple and Teal mist started whirling at the center of the courtyard surrounded by pieces of a broken dais. After a few more seconds, the broken dais suddenly shattered further, and an unseen force sent the stone and overgrowth outward 5 meters in all directions. The mist solidified and an audible gasp was heard, as a 1.8 m tall figure fell to the ground with a thud onto what was left of the dais. The purple and teal energy shuddered outward and sent out a huge Force Pulse as the man materialized from the Void beyond and the energy dissipated in the pulse.. The man exhaled sharply with the fall, and rolled onto his back. He was entirely nude, his body covered with fresh wounds atop old scars. Opening his Green eyes, he glanced about at where he was. The placed looked foreign, but the sensation…the feeling was all too familiar. Makhai painfully rolled his body over onto his stomach, and slowly onto his hands and knees. He coughed a few times from the dust swirling about due to the forceful disturbance of his arrival. Blood trickling to the ground as he coughed and from several wounds upon his arms and thighs. Making pushed himself up to his feet and looked around in greater scrutiny while he wobbled a few times and tried to avoid falling backwards. This place…could it be? He thought to himself. Is this really Kashyyyk? He asked himself once more. Now Makhai was starting to feel the presences more definitively. He looked down and he could feel it now, yes this was it, this had to be it. Feral, Phantom, Sinistra, Vitiosus, Ferinus, Stormro, Rebellious, Sarian, Si’at, Ver’metus, all of them…he could now feel all of them as if they had just been here. This must have been where it had happened. A renewed anger filled Makhai and his strength started to gather. He could now feel the dark energy caress him and light his being more. Seeing the destruction of the academy filled Makhai with a seething rage, and he funneled the dark energy into a large blast of Force Lightning upward, creating a blinding light that flashed visibly throughout the Shadowlands. On his own, Makhai walked over to a fallen column, pulling himself up onto it, he surveyed the Shadowlands as his meditation began, and he rested while the dark side refueled him.**

*The Trawls Avengence, a heavily modified YT-2400 had swooped down and landed in an open area in the Shadowlands, the ship was black as night, with white flecs through it, it looked like the nights sky, armour plated, and had larger weapon emplacements then had come standard. The landing ramp descends with a hiss of hydraulics and a dark cloaked figure walks down it, with his hood covering his face and his hands tucked into the sleeves it would not be seen as to who it was not that there should be anyone there to see.*
*Ver'metus eyes had scanned out from beneath the shadows of the cowl. His steps were slow, he wasn't in a rush, nor was he sure what he looked for. This place was desolate. The taint of the darkside was strong in this place, the ruins of the old academy were strewn yet about, nothing grew around it, no living creatures ventured into it. He lowered his hands to drag across pieces of rubble, he could feel the dark taint of each one, memories flood through him as he wandered.
Why, why had the force lead him here. He hadn't set foot on the planet since the places destruction. Only then to see the aftermath. He'd fought one of the Jen'ari, they weren't happy to see him then, but then, why would they, the last time before that he'd been here, was when him, Ferinus and their companions had destroyed their chambers to leave the academy and start out on their own.
He walked forwards, and when he stepped around some debris, his foot steps on to one of the stones and he stopped dead in his tracks, he got the feeling that the taint coming from this spot was alot newer then any other that he'd come across. In fact, he was fairly certain it was sometime in the last day or so. That was something he had not expected. He continued forwards, he could sense more traces of dark tendrils coming from a few meters away and around a corner. He frowned this was abnormal. He shifted to a more defensive posture as he continued forward, his hands prepared to grab for his lightsaber if necessary. He wasn't sure what was putting off these dark tendrils, but he didn't want to be caught unawares.

**Makhai felt a looming presence, one that caused a lingering faintness in his mind’s eye to spark up images of an old humanoid with pronounced tendrils protruding from his face. The young man with green eyes and blond hair, did not feel threatened or alarmed by the presence as it was a faint familiarity one with which he seemed to have a bond.
Looking up at the approaching figure, Makhai’s green eyes opened and focused upon the nearby ledge. He was unarmed should this approaching being mean him harm, he was physically weak and exhausted from the recent trials and exit from the void beyond, but Makhai knew the force was a powerful ally. Even though he was a relatively young practitioner, his connection ran deep.
Makhai rose up and now stood atop the shattered pillar, his naked form outlined in faint light that shimmered off the crimson blood that still flowed from some of the wounds he wore. Makhai stepped forward, hopping down and began to size up and kept a watchful eye on the newcomer and a rhythmic connection to the force as it pulsated within and around him. He watched and waited for the familiar stranger make the first move, while Makhai watched with an almost feral demeanor about him.**

*Ver'metus stares across at the man. It was a strange place to be for any being these days, even stranger when said being was not clothed. His gaze was not solely focused on the being, but the surroundings around them. There was more here then there seemed. Having seen and experienced such events before, it didn't take long to devise. The sith was many years older since last he had been here, but he would out last any that called this place home.
Though knowing what had happened, didn't tell him who. He stares at the being. The force dwelled within him, tainted with darkness. That was to be expected. One of Feral's lackeys maybe? He didn't move, his eyes glanced first left, then right. He called upon the force, rubble shifted, two pieces jet from their home, one from the right moving quickly to the mans legs, the other came from the left, delaying a few moments picking a random direction that he might dodge to, going higher, at about chest level.
He would find out who this being was, why they were here, he wouldn't kill a being before questioning them, as one who dealt in information and worked from shadow, not doing so would be bad practice. But most would be more compliant after receiving a beating. One that He would happily deliver.*

**Green eyes studied the being’s approach. It was cautious yet confident, steady and on guard. Makhai realized this person was potentially more dangerous than he had anticipated. He crouched lower onto his haunches to narrow the profile target he created. As he did this, the being’s aura shifted, and suddenly two pieces of rubble were flying at him, Makhai leaned and pushed with his right arm and leg off of the column and sent his body into a horizontal pitched roll over top of the first piece of debris and underneath the second. He landed in a crouch then pushed off to his left and rolled towards the center of the dais in the ruins. As he moved towards the crushed central dais, his eye caught a pair of Sais that had been imbedded into the ground. He grabbed them amongst a bevy of other electronic compnents and Khyber crystals that lay in a smashed pile.
Makhai spun out from behind the dais, and readied himself with a pair of silver colored Sais. The one in his right hand backwards and in a defensive posture, while the left low and out front aggressively. He eyed the being waiting for the next move…for the next attack. Makhai focused his intensity on the being and let his feelings start to churn and bubble within.**

*Ver'metus could have pressed the attack harder as the young man ducked and dived about to avoid his rubble. He instead watches. The boy was quick, that was good, he would need to be. Ver was standing idle, calculating, gathering information. He may even be enjoying himself. When he came up from behind a dias with silver sais he smiles a toothy grin, he didn't move, his posture stayed passive. His voice comes forth firm, and taunting.*
So, the little Tantla has claws. Come. Show me how well you use them little Tantla.
*Again, he didn't move, he hadn't even let his cloak fall away from him. He stood, watching the young man, seeing if he would bite. Would youthful arrogance get the better of him? Would he show patience? His stance seemed fine. He could feel the force gathering around the lad, he inwardly smiled, hoping he was bold enough to test the man before him. It had mattered not, if the boy refused, he would take to the offensive, the Nexu would first have its fun with the prey.*
