After being dismissed John turned around and headed towards the dropship that the rest of Havoc was waiting at. John understood the mission's importance as well as how devastating it would be if the first order bastards got their filthy hands on the armaments. As he got closer to the dropship the more John thought on who the first order would have sent in to retrieve the armaments for them. It would have to be a squad of highly trained stormtroopers, troopers who would be equivalent to that of Havoc squad. As he approached the dropship Sgt. Ravos was waiting for him while the other members of Havoc prepared the dropship. "Listen up Sgt. our mission is to retrieve armaments from an important factory in the city. The rules of engagement are simple blast any buckethead you see, once we have located the factory I want you to take up an aerial vantage point and cover us from a rooftop. Mic and Zeex will accompany me into the factory, Understood?" John had just laid out his plan for the factory and the mission objective, hopefully Sgt. Ravos would not object to his roll and even if he did he would not show it. I understand completely sir. I'll signal the pilot once you are on board sir. After answering the major's question and giving his reply, Sgt. Ravos hoped inside of the dropship and made his way to the cockpit so that once the Major was on board he could give the pilot the green light.John allowed the Sgt. some time to reach the cockpit before entering the dropship himself. Once he was aboard the dropship began to take off and head to the city below. John knew that Mic and Zeex would follow any plan he laid out for them. John notice that Mic was rubbing his MWC-35c repeating cannon with an unnerving excitement He could see that Mic was ready to blast the enemy, in his defence it had been a well since he had seen combat. "Listen up our mission is to retrieve armaments from an important factory in the city. The rules of engagement are simple blast any buckethead you see, once we have located the factory the Sgt. will take up an aerial vantage point and cover us from a rooftop. You two will accompany me into the factory, Understood?" Both Mic and Zeex nodded their approval, Mic was itching for a good fight, Zeex on the other hand was only slightly nervous though he did his best to concern this from his squadmates, however John could tell but wouldn't say anything as his mind was still elsewhere. In the sense that he was thinking on a number of contingency plans incase something should go wrong. Cartann City, AdumarOnce their shuttle had touched down, it took Havoc only a few short minutes to locate the factory and once the location had been determined Major Dexter and the others set off for it. Once they closed in on the factory, Sgt. Ravos headed off towards a partially destroyed building and took vantage there, while John, Mic and Zeek approached the front doors of the factory. John had his MK II Paladin blaster rifle at the ready as he opened the door allowing Zeek to enter first with his Flechette launcher at the ready. John entered next having Mic pick up the rear with his MWC-35c repeating cannon also at the ready. As their entered the factory John could hear someone calling out "Sierra-Tango-Whisky-Two-Niner-Five". John motioned for Zeek and Mic to take cover, while he radioed Ravos. "Shadow, do you have visual on us?" After a brief pause Sgt. Ravos spoke to John through their commlink. This is Shadow, I have visual."Copy that,be ready for anything." John had wasted no time responding to Ravos, as he knew that a fight was about to begin. What he didn't know was the number of bucketheads and where they would be coming from. John waited for a few minutes before responding to the voice within the factory. "This is Juliett-Golf-Whiskey-Romeo-Four-Niner." John and the other members of Havoc within the factory continued to wait until they either heard a reply or saw the enemy forces.

Cartann City - Ordnance Factory.
Shouldering his rifle, Blackwall motioned to Jester. With a brief nod, Jester was ready. And then rang out a return service number. "Juliette-Golf-Whiskey-Romeo-Four-Niner". That definitely wasn't one of their soldiers. Stepping forward, through the open vault door, Blackwall scanned the room, spotting the Alliance soldiers. The insignia on their armor was familiar to him. He had seen it before in old holo vids. Havoc Squad. The absolute best of the best when it came to Republic Special Forces. Seems like the Galactic Alliance had found soldiers who actually knew how to fight, thought Blackwall to himself. Taking another step forward, Blackwall lowered his rifle and held up his hands to indicate he meant no harm. Hard to believe, certainly. But a single misplaced shot hitting one of those Stardrops and none of them would have anything to worry about ever again. So, choosing to live to fight another day, Blackwall set his rifle on the floor and continued holding his hands up. Behind him and off to his right, he could hear Jester snorting in disbelief. Clearing his throat, he spoke clearly and calmly to the man he assumed was in charge.
"Easy. Easy, big guy. Let's not do anything either of us would regret, okay?"
From beneath his helmet, Blackwall was starting to sweat. This was a tense situation and he really didn't want to escalate it. Yes, both sides had a stake here, but the stakes were so much more than any of them had realized. Resonance Torpedoes? Someone was fixing to do some serious hurt. And, while he did believe in the Imperial Doctrine, this was more hurt than necessary. The Emperor and his war machine were already superior. The Galactic Alliance knew that. Killing each other now just so more people would die later on, regardless of who walked out of here today was ridiculous. And completely pointless. Hopefully the large man and his team standing opposite to him were professional enough to not shoot an unarmed man...otherwise this was liable to end up being the stupidest thing he had ever attempted, and that was saying a lot...

John watched as two First Order Stormtroopers appeared before them, he was about to order Mic and Zeek to open fire on the bucketheads when they lowered their weapons and began to hold their hands in the air. Then John heard the same voice as before, the one who had called out his Identification number, John waited a second until he heard Ravos over the Commlink.
Sir, I have the solution.
John answered Ravos by tapping the Commlink twice to indicate to him not to take the shot. John moved out from his cover and stepped closer to the bucketheads while his blaster rifle was still raised and fixed on them. John proceed to speak to the bucketheads. "I'm Major Dexter, Commander of Havoc squad, and I under the authority of the Galactic Alliance hereby order you to surrender yourselves and this Factory to us." John knew that giving the enemy an order like that might not go over so well, but since one of them was trying to reason with them it seemed like a good idea to at least try.

If the situation hadn't been so dire, he might have actually laughed at the Alliance soldier before him. But there was no time for being petty.
"Major Dexter. Captain Blackwall of Fireteam Castle. 787th Stormtrooper Legion. As much as I would like to surrender this factory to you, I'm afraid I can't do that."
He needed this Alliance Major to understand just how serious this situation was. He and his team had been led here under false pretenses. And he had a feeling that the Alliance soldiers had been as well. Munitions were one thing, but those torpedoes...those were another matter entirely. But he needed to diffuse the situation enough to show Dexter just exactly what both the Alliance and First Order were truly after.

John was not surprise by the bucketheads statement if was being honest, but he did have to try. After the apparent leader of the stormtroopers was done talking, John lowered his rifle a bit and asked. "And why is that?" John was beginning to have a gut feeling that told told him something was off, what he couldn't be sure, but he had a feeling he would not like it. Mic and Zeek both had their weapons aimed at the Stormtroopers standing before them, while Sgt. Ravos had his sights trained on the buckethead that was standing behind behind the stormtrooper that was speaking to the Major.

Ordnance Factory, Cartann City, Adumar.Holding his hands up to show he wasn't trying anything, Blackwall reached for his helmet seals. Hissing as he released them, he lifted the helmet off his head and tucked it under his left arm. Looking at the man before him, dead in the eyes, he replied."Because both of us, the Alliance and First Order, were sent out here under false pretenses. There is a frak-ton of Resonance Torpedoes in that vault...munitions capable of wiping out entire solar systems! Can you live with that on your hands? Because I can't. Regardless of which side we are on, no one should get their hands on these weapons..."There. It was out in the open. Hopefully Dexter would believe him. But if he was even remotely close to the kind of man Blackwall thought he was, he'd want proof. Which is where this could get a little complicated.

John listened to the Stormtrooper Captain and he was shocked when hearing that the factory housed Resonance Torpedoes. John lowered hie rifle completely and allowed it to hang off of his shoulder from it's strap. John returned the favor and released his helmet seals, which hissed as he did so. John tucked his helmet under his right arm. "I assume you have a plan to deal with them." John looked from the Stormtrooper Captain back to Mic and Zeek, before speaking to them. "Racket, Cipher stand down." Mic and Zeek both stood down as John issued the command. Tapping his commlink within his ear, John issued Ravos new orders. Shadow, make sure no one else enters this factory. Warning shots only. John waited until he heard Ravos speak into the commlink.
Understood Sir.
With Ravos done checking in, John turned and looked at the now helmetless Bearded Stormtrooper and waited for his answer.

Blackwall merely watched the Alliance team relax their weapons. With a dry chuckle, he looked to Dexter.
"Not yet, but I'm working on something. The first order of business would be to get them out of this vault. Move 'em somewhere they won't accidentally take a stray shot. Because if more Stormtroopers show up, or more of your men, and either side gets a little trigger happy, this place will make the destruction of the second Death Star look like a child's pop detonator...and none of us get out of here alive..."
Lowering his hands to his sides, Blackwall slowly and carefully picked up his rifle and slid it into the holster on his right hip. Looking over to the Major once more, he posed a question.
"I don't suppose you have anyone capable of rigging up some of the smaller munitions here, do you?"
A slight grin crossed his face as he improvised his plan. Hopefully someone on the Alliance's team would be able to help them out, as the rest of Blackwall's team was out of contact. And breaking radio silence now would just attract unwanted attention.

John knew that Blackwall was right, if either side got a little too trigger happy that would be the end of all of them. Moving them to a place that they won't take a stray shot was their best bet. On Havoc squad, Mick was their resident explosive expert. "Racket, here is an explosive expert." John had an idea of what the First Order Captain wanted to do, but he couldn't be sure of anything right now. Watching the bucketheads in here might give them a better idea of how they operate. Just as John was about to say something else, Sgt. Ravos came over the comms.
Sir, we have incoming. Bucketheads from the east and our troops from the west. They have too much cover, Don't want to give any position.
This wasn't good, troops coming in from both sides. John looked around for a moment of two before speaking up. "Looks like we have incoming, Alliance from the west and First Order from the east." As much as John hated the situation they were in, it couldn't be helped. All that he could do now was think of some way out of their current situation, without losing too many Alliance lives.

While Havoc Squad and Fireteam Castle continued to negotiate, the 232nd Sabers Battalion was entrenched along the eastern edge of the city. All eight AV-7 Antivehicle Cannons were launching anti-armor artillery shells at the incoming First Order All-Terrain Heavy Scouts skirted their perimeter, testing for weaknesses. Sergeant Slattery was peering through a pair of electrobinoculars, watching the First Order scouts as they wove in and out of the geysers of dirt that shot up from the artillery impacts. One scout had already fallen. The others were still pushing, however. Motioning to the field officer ranging in the shots, Slattery hollered at him.
"Shift fire pattern. Four by four pincer. Staggered!"
Adjusting their firing patterns, four cannons fired further down range, behind the approaching enemy, while the other four continued to bombard them. As he continued to peer through the electrobinoculars, several shots rained down from the Maximus, a Majestic-Class Heavy Cruiser providing overwatch for them. With the pot shots from the Maximus, the enemy scouts turned and fled, only to be cut down by both the Majestic and the artillery that had been raining down behind them. A few cheers erupted from the soldiers around him, but this was just the beginning. The First Order didn't give up easily. And those had only been advanced scouts. The main force was still approaching, and then the fight would truly begin...

Standing on the bridge of the Conquered Star, peering over the holo-table of the battlefield on the planet below, High Admiral Harlan Petrovsky smirked. Turning over to the chess board present on the table as well, he moved a pawn forward and knocked on of his off the board. Turning back to the main holo-table, Petrovsky brought a hand up to his bearded chin, thinking.
"Engage the enemy fleet. Launch all remaining fighters to harass their support vessels and target the MC140 Battlecruiser. Time to show Vice Admiral Hargrave exactly what a Resurgent is capable of..."
It wasn't much, but with the Star keeping the Vice Admiral's fleet occupied, it would force him to divide his attentions and focus on the greater threat, which was the now incoming Resurgent, bristling with weaponry.
The main assault group on the ground was steadily advancing towards Cartann City. With the Heavy Scouts having been destroyed, the artillery units had moved up to the edge of the forest and dug in. Beginning to fire upon the Alliance's lines, the MegaSix walkers and the Patrol Droids pushed forward, coming into firing range shortly...

We need to get these Resonance Torpedoes loaded onto the Speeder Truck by the loading docks. We are taking them out of here."Secure the larger ordnance inside the impervious vault, blow the facility once they left with the torpedoes, and hide them somewhere out in the middle of no where. It wasn't much of a plan, but it was better than letting either side get their hands on these torpedoes.
