*Alzoc III was a frozen planet, with snow and ice dominating its surface. It was covered in vast frozen wastelands, bisected by a number of deep valleys and mountain ranges. Frigid gales swept the planet, often resulting in snow storms. The Valley of Blizzards was particularly notable for this phenomenon. A number of frozen lakes also covered the surface.*

*The Main force now decends on the few small Population centers on Alzoc 3. By nightfall the planet and its inhabitants belonged to the Imperium.*

Officer Bailey trudged through the snow. He was cold and sick of this assignment. Alzoc III was as dead and frozen as all sensors had indicated and he was about to join it if he wasn't careful. He pulled the cord and sent up the hydrogen balloon to signal his masters that, according to his prior assessment, things were all quiet....

It wasn't long thereafter that an automated mining platform descended at the location of the disused Imperial mines. Clearly, there was no fine art to extracting and refining the materials there if it could be all done autonomously.

The Skydance flew a hundred metres from the frigid ground, where dazzling sunlight reflected brilliantly. The Firespray was invisible to the naked eye. He'd make his presence like a visiting phantasm. Geenine deftly piloted the ship so Angel could focus his Force aptitude in attuning his senses to seek a particular lightsaber crystal; he was told it could be found on ice planets, and he'd narrowed it down to three or four. If he found it on the right Force frequency, the crystal would hum to him when it was a couple dozen kilometres away. He flew over several Talz encampments periodically, but eventually nothing came up on his telepathic radar.
The ship's actual radar beeped as an old base came into its long-range scanners.
Shall I set a course for that base?
Proceed.
Geenine locked on to the relevant coordinates and the Skydance followed northwest of its current trail.
