39 was tending the shop when 37 came back with a grocery sack filled with food and tools bought in various shops, all purchases spread out evenly. Hobber or Habber or wahtever the corspes name was that hang back in the freezer had a good hovercar that one could do all their grocery shopping needs with. 37 seemed troubled though. She sat down the groceries on the counter and spoke while closing the shop, sign and key both.
-39- "Whats the matter sister? You seem troubled."
-37- "I am, is Diana in? Seems like we have fallen into a war of some kind."
-39- "A war?"
Most people would ask this with dread and fear but Number 39 said it with longing and exitement. The yellow Twilek known as Diana entered from the freezer. Her skin was thight and she had frost on it on several places. She was wearing nothing but the most essentials for this to be classified something else then PG13. Of course, the slaves collar warmed her throat at least. She was shaking still.
-Dianna- "Time?"
-39- "27 minutes mistress."
Diana was shaking even more now as the heat of room tempereture hit her, but she endured. The Banshees had to try out any new ways of applying pressure before using it on any future banshees to make sure they are safe for life at least... and that they can be bested. This was the fifth time she had gone into the freezer, and she felt that she did not fear the temperetures bellow freezing and the darkness of the cabin. She had become stronger by besting the fear of freezing. She was proud, and proud that she will be able to give this gift further to her sisters and her future sisters.
-37- "Diana, I have the things your equested and news. There is a war."
-Diana- "I know there is a war sister, that is why we are here, to replanish the places of sisters we might loose."
-37- "Nono, I mean, there is an actual battle on the planet. The news are filled with it, check the datapad. Couple days after we landed. Isnt this great?"
-39- "Isnt this great mistress? In all the chaos, we will be able to operate nearly unhindered!"
The still shaking yellow twilek took a datapad from under the counter and started looking for the news on the local holonet. She was troubled.
-Diana- "I am not impressed. Nor happy."
-39- "Why is that mistress?"
The woman gave a freezed amature picture of some snapshot at a ship from a fleeing a space battle. The ship, while not fully in focus was well seen. Someone who would have known the ship would have recognised it. Diana was such a person.
-Diana- I have seen that ship before, when I still was a number. It came and met with the Mistress, its crew being pirates. They have come to rob this world of its riches and peaople.
-39- "That... is bad."
-Diana- "Yes, that is. Its our right."
The hunter Diana grabbed a meatcleaver and threw it in anger at a wall. It twisted in the air perfectly and hit the wall, lodging itself immobile in the mortar.
-Diana- "I will take the shop, go out and find the targets. I want to gather in as many of them as possible before the Bloodrage Pirates are coming."

*Ellie had to agree, there were more important things to be focused on then how long she was in captivity. Standing up she followed after Crom'nen, she raised and eyebrow at the name he had given her.*
"Ash? That's a new one."

Crom'nen was pleased, though he did not show it. "Ash" was a term that simple meant "she." Unless she was faking ignorance, he could take freely before her in his native tongue, moreso in the secret language by their lekku. He became less pleased when the pale-skinned medic blocked his path.
-Alema'vrei- Sir, I must object.
-Crom'nen- What now?
-Alema'vrei- She can barely stand. She is in no condition to go.
-Crom'nen- The way I see it, she could be dead now if not for the people of Ryloth. She owes a debt. If she saves one life in Lessu, her debt is paid. Who knows? We may be in her debt.
-Alema'vrei- Sir, she is exhausted.
-Crom'nen- She can sleep in the truck.
-Alema'vrei- She needs--
-Crom'nen- Sedate her if she cannot sleep! People are dying while you stand here debating the condition of this Opik! If she saves one, just one, before passing out, then her travel there would have been well worth it. Now get in the froz truck! Crom'nen sighed. I will leave the decision to her. We have no more time to argue.
Crom'nen stormed off, his fury barely contained. Alema'vrei and Worm both stared at the Jedi, waiting her answer.

*Ellie gave the medic a shrug.*
"I can sleep on the way. Meditating sometimes helps."
*She hurried to catch up to Crom'nen. Once beside him she spoke just loud enough for him to hear.*
"You know, there are three words in my language that start with Ash. Ash'ad, which means 'someone else." Ashi, which means 'other'." *She paused for a second before speaking again.* Or, it could mean Ash'amur, 'to die violently, as one would in battle."

*Alema'vrei stood shocked, wondering if she had created a monster. Crom'nen stopped just before climbing into the back of the enclosed truck.* I suppose those are the possibilities for each of us this day, Supisy.
*Crom'nen got into the back of the truck and sat on one of the benches mounted to the side. He sat in the second to last seat, but his body language made it clear no one was to sit in that last seat. It appeared he wanted the extra room to himself in the crowded truck. The medic came to help the girl up into the same truck.*

*Ellie, with the help of the medic. She sat across from Crom'nen and closed her eyes. Letting out a slow breath she let her body and mind relax. Slowly, her mind began to sink into the force, letting her body fall into a healing meditation. The process would be slow in her currant state and wouldn't heal all her wounds, but it would help some.*

F'rarl had quietly slipped aboard while Crom'nen distracted eveyone with conversation. He was fuming. The Jedi, who swore to defend the innocent with their lives, had withdrawn, and now potentially hundreds or thousands were dead. Perhaps F'rarl needed to find out who these Jedi were and take from them the price they failed to pay. In the mean time, F'rarl had no doubts that the crash was a diversonary tactic. Whoever had chosen to come to this world would pay for that. F'rarl would see to it.

Once the hovertrucks were underway, Crom'nen began calm, though fire burned in his eyes. He spoke rarely, and only then giving occassional orders to a communications officer to relay.Alert the Sesk'vati that I am on my way, and that they are under my command. Order them to set up road blocks. Do not allow civilians to leave via the tunnels. We are taking to tunnels to get there. Order the Sesk'vati in Kala'uun to be on alert for an attack here. Order the Sesk'nabsilai to search for the living, but emphasize caution in using telekensis. We do not wish to destabilize damaged structures and cause further loss of life. Tell the Sesk'ryvak to remain at the hospitals and receive the wounded. Let the Sesk'vati medics to the initial stabilizing and triage. Get the Chir'daki in the air over the cities and villages. Over Lessu, strafe anything that isn't a Twi'lek. He thought for a moment. There was something he was supposed to remember. Ah yes. Tell them the blue lightsaber is a friendly. The time seemed to pass slowly for those in the trucks, until they broke out of the tunnels and into Lessu.

That day, a woman was seen snatched off the street and put into a hovercar by one of the middle level markets. Police came out too late to find any trails of the car, wich was described to them by a helpfull vitness. The vitness bore a scarf around her neck...
A woman, a star athlethe in a martial arts club never arrived to her dojo where she teached children her arts of combat. She is persumed missing.
A woman never came home from work today. She left her work, wich was being a perosnal trainer at a middle level gym, and her husband was later found killed by several stabb wounds. No other signs of struggle was seen in the house they lived in.
A woman, a yellow twilek walked into her local police station. She seemed stressed, and asked to talk to a detective. She claimed she was followed, and she wanted protection. The detective, whom had yet not gotten the reports from above told her to go home and lock all doors, and a patroll will be sent to her to watch over her as soon as they have the needed manpower. Unfortunetley, with the high readiness because of the attack on the planet her case had low priority, and she would be reported as missing a couple days later. She never made it home...

Worm sat, calmly. As he listened to both military comm traffic and the local news out of Lessu, the fire and rage returned to his squinted eyes. No one spoke to him, nor to each other. Finally, we he could stand it no longer, he stood and walked out of the office, down a lift one level, and into one of the pens that once housed slaves, and now housed slavers. Hie eyes quickly scanned the room until they found one being, a Quarren, whose eyes seemed defiant and hard. He seemed to be a leader of sort. He would keep the rest brave.
Worm walked directly up the this Quarren and cracked him with a stun baton. The alien dropped to his knees, and Worm wrapped his left arm under the tentacles and lifted up. With the talons on his right hand, Worm proceeded to grab and tear the being's throat. All looked shocked as the Quarren fell to the ground, grasping, but able to do little to stop the black blood from slipping between his fingers. He would die over several minutes, and the others would be able to do nothing but watch. Worm looked into their fearful eyes and spoke. I have granted him mercy. When the interrogations begin, you will beg for such mercy. Each of you will talk. The only question is what you will force me to do to you before you talk.
When Worm exited the chamber to allow the slavers to watch their friend bleed to death, a small, yellow-skinned male waited for him. Sir, this may not be the best time, but... When he felt Worm's glare, he continued. We have reports coming in of missing persons. A man stabbed to death, his wife missing. A woman snatched off the street. Another disappeared after leaving a police station. Sir, Nawara, passik seems to have been correct. Someone is using the attack to take people.
-Worm- Get me a driver.

The assault team came back with a sith Twilek, whom they snached because of a clear reason. The woman was beautifull. She wasnt the Mistress, but she did have a natural alure that grabbed the sight of the Banshees, whom were a sensual bunch. This snatch was not planned, it was poorly executed by their standards. The woman was simply snatched off the street. Slow drive besides, suddenly a door opens, hands reach out and pull her in and drives off. They couldnt risk to leave one of them behind to misslead the authorothies either, like at the market. The road was crowded with cars and a couple walkers, and wasnt as crowded as the market was that day.
It was stupid, and it cost them a vehicle. 37 drove it to an alley and cleaned it. Not for fingerprints, Banshees burned that off in training, but for anything that could say where the car came from. It was a stolen car taken from an alley a couple days before. If it was reported, they did not know... but it would be found in the same alley, so hopefully there would be no more investigation in the matter.
The five and now six captive Twileks were held in a deactivated freezer, hanging from meathooks and accompanied by the slowly rotting corpsees of the past owners. The training of a banshee always starts with a shock. Pain, horror, terror. The training started allready, someone was always held in one of the dark freezers where they were held untill the Banshees decided to pull them out and start with beatings or forcing one captive to beat an other captive. The ammount of phisical and psichological oppression was only seen in proffecional armies, and the banshees were well thought.
They had lived it through themselves...

As Worm was slowly lifting his broken body into the cab of the truck, the clerk came running once more.
-clerk- New report sir. Someone was just nabbed off the street, just now. Sir, she was kicked out of the Sesk'nabsilai for using the Dark Side. She would be... valuable.
Worm was silent as his people loaded into the truck. They raced to the scene of the abduction. When they arrived, the police had roped off the area, and were leading the investigation. The small, red-skinned Twi'lek climbed out of the truck and began his slow shuffle. He was, by any description, hideous. His navy blue robes with a maroon sash did little to hide his deformities. His legs did not have a full range of movement, which is why he shuffled. His back was crocked from years of being stooped, causing him to have a constant hunch. His face was scarred, and his mouth crooked, due to his jaw being broken and improperly set many times. His left hand was also somewhat crooked, despite the corrective surgeries over the years. He bore a constant sneer, only added to by the fact that his eyes held a constant squint. But his most distinguished characteristic was that he was missing his tchun, or left lekku. This is why he bore the name "Worm."
Worm was a legend, a rumor, just as was the Obyrru. While rumors flew around the world of this twisted and deformed being, they rarely acted in public. Still, when they chose to, respect came with it. In this case, the lead detective came to meet the being known only as "Worm."
-detective- Sir, I, uh... Sir, we are leading the investigation. So far, we have conflicting descriptions, or basicly no description, of who was in the vehicle. Security footage shows a Twi'lek female driving, but whether she was a willing participant or another victim, we don't know. Witnesses and footage to verify the description of the speeder, which matches a stolen vehicle report. The vehicle was abandonned where it was stolen from, so there is no lead there.
-Worm- There is a lead. There is a pattern. How far could you carry someone against their will on foot? And without being seen? There have been several other missing persons reports over the last few days.
-detective- Are they connected?
-Worm- They're always connected, even when they aren't.
The detective shook his head, confused.
-Worm- When your department makes a press release, you should advise people to stay in groups. Some may have even been taken from their homes, so those that live alone should consider staying with friends. And for Kika'lekki's sake, everyone should be armed. Everyone. Now, where is the secondary scene, the vehicle?
-detective- My men have already checked it. There are no fingerprints.
-Worm- DNA. DNA, my friend. People sweat. People lose skin cells. From there, we might be able to build a profile. And if you've compromised the scene, the girl may pay with her life.
With that, Worm began his slow shuffle back to the truck. His people could reinterview the witnesses.

At the car there were a lot of DNA samples, mostly from taken victims, but here comes the catch. There were six victims right? There are seven Twilek Female samples. One is from WAAAY back. If someone decided to crossreference with OLD records, from the time when slavery was rather accepted practice on Ryloth, they would find a 6 year old yellow twilek girls file wich matches with this seventh sample. The girl was sold into slavery to a merchant who dealt in basically anything and everywhere... but a curious thing still... Her parents still lived in the city...
The banshees wore their normal banshee garb when on a mission like snatching someone, they were clad in a dark cloth matching their enviroment wrapped around their bodies like mummies. This was one of the reasons why.
Back at home in the butchers shop, the day went on. At the front desk, meat was sold, and at the back people were being strained and trained, brainwashed and broken down to be rebuilt again home on Juvex.

It took little time for DNA reports to come back. The news disturbed Worm. That afternoon's news reports included an amendment to the alert about kidnappings, including that the kidnappers might be using Twi'lek women to lure other Twi'lek women out. The police chief who issued the statement was greatly mocked for using the line "all females are to be treated with suspicion." Worm feared that this poorly worded statement would downplay the legitimate threat.
In the mean time, Worm began working up a profile of locations near the scene of the car. He, of course, knew the possibility was slim that such organized kidnappers were so dumb, as they could have unloaded their cargo and then dumped the car, but at this point, it was the only lead he had.

they DID unload thier cargo first... the location from where they had stolen the hovercar was further away from the location they found, but that was the point of the location. It was a little bit of a deadzone for the wisible trafic cameras, and one would have to have a large searchgrid around that area because of the smallstreets that the butchers shop is located in. The idea was that the spotter would see the police cars or the people walking from door to door before they would be descended upon, and prepear.
but yes... the district could be pinpointed if some analysts were set to the task.
also, meanwile at the batcave... I mean, slaveshop...
-------------------------------------*-------------------------------------
There was some comotion in one of the slave freezers, the ones that were deactivated to hold the new slaves and future banshees. Diana, the hunter, turned from the empty shops counter and rushed back to the freezer in question. As she got in she saw three of the slaves hanging from their meathooks by the cuffs on their hands, and a fourth on the floor, number 38 above her with the meat tenderiser. The slave in question, the new one, the beautifull one had a bleeding mark right between the lekku-s. Her chest was still moving, so she was alive but her beauty might have been ruinned slightly...
-Dianna- "What is this, 38?"
-38- "Mistress, this one has the gift. She grabbed my throat without hands... I had to subdue her."
Dianna frowned. This was the last they needed, a dilemma. Kill the child and be done with her, since she can not become a banshee, or take her with and let the Mistress train her to her liking. It would be risky and they would have to get their own transports for this, somehow... and there was the chance that someone felt the deed in the Force.
-Diana- "Keep her sedated, and pack up ready to leave. Get a new vehicle. We will try to get out of the city, the planet if we can. Most of them are easy to move now... and keep up the training."

Worm remained in the truck. His body had, limitations. He was only slowing the canvas. The search had yielded one witness, who said "someone" left the vehicle, adding, "the alley was dark." They were underground; of course it was dark! Twi'lek had excellect darkvision. This one did not, of course. The clerk had been furiously working behind Worm with a computer, while Worm absently pet his remaining lekku, as he often did when deep in thought.
Meanwhile...
The Sesk'nasbilai could not shake it. He knew he felt it, a disturbance in the Force. He felt the cold hollowness of fear and desperation, and then sudden silence. With his robes around him and a spear in hand, he let the Force guide him. He walked two blocks, eyes closed, until he heard a sound: a bell? He opened his eyes to see himself in... a butcher shop?
-Force user- Is everything ok here?

The woman who came to the coutner from the back was a yellow twilek in a buthcers gown and protective chain gauntlet on her left hand, a cleaver in the right. The gown seemed a bit too large for her but in places like these it was usual that the same protective clothing was used by all the butchers... it was cheaper that way. The woman seemed to measure the Sesk'nasbilai for a second, looking over his garb and then smiled a comely smile. She was a lovely creature with a thin scar on the left of her face wearing a shawl on her neck.
-Diana- "Ok? Well, besides the fact that meat is hard to come by, yes... with the treat of war the prices on meat are allready going up... you know, this is called cartelling, isnt it? Someone should do something about it... anyways, what can I help you with?"
In conflict, usually the people that are perfectly content and happy are the most suspicious.

The twilek raised a naturally bare eyebrow at the soldier-police looking person. She slammed the cleaver thrice on the cutting board and then set it down, as if she wanted to shake off anything on the cleaver with a quick move, but in truth it was a warning for the others.
-Diana- "Why is that, good officer?"
There were three banshees getting the captives ready and one out getting a vehicle.

The Sesk'nasbilai's eyes snapped open, and he took up the spear into a readied grip. Put down the knife! Drop it or I'll kill you!
pause
Wha- What are you?
