*Almost entirely industrialised, Fondor was an ecumenopolis world. Its surface was almost totally covered with factories, cooling towers, and workers barracks, as well as mine shafts leading deep into the planet's core and office complexes for the planet's ruling Guild of Starshipwrights.*

Oridin City was the Capital of Fondor, and befitting such a prosperous world, it was a well ordered metropolis. Today, the peace and tranquility was to be shattered for a time. The planet's defenders, asleep at the switch, failed to raise the city's shields in time, and fighters were destroyed on the ground in their hundreds as the forces of the Sith Lord Apoplex came in to take control.
Sith Lords landed, commanding armored troopers, who fanned out into the city, capturing key locations, including the power grid controls, defense headquarters and the parliamentary and governatorial residences.
Within hours of the assault beginning, it was over. Smoke continued to rise over the Capital, but fighting generally died down to a few small pockets of resistance that had ignored or refused the planetary surrender order. Within a day, Oridin was under Sith rule, and the Shipyards, captured intact, came under the control of the Sith Lord Apoplex.

Word of the conquest spread across the surface of Fondor like wildfire. Information and news services reported on the event locally, but no official word left the planet, the attack having come so swiftly, and relatively bloodlessly, only sporadic reports mentioning words like invasion and attack got out to the people of Fondor. Gradually, as the fighting died down, and Sith administration of the planet began, the government went back to work intact, services resumed, with policy now being set by the Sith.
There had been casualties of course. The days of fighting had seen armed rebellion dealt with swiftly and harshly. One of the major pockets had been located in Oridin City, in a residential district a few kilometers from the Planetary Senate Building. Units of the militia had ignored the surrender order, and Sith forces had been sent to eliminate them. Six hundred and fourty two men and women of the 12th Airborne, dug in around a tower complex.
Lords Etherielle and Furnis led two battalions of soldiers in an assault, supported by air cover. While the troopers engaged with the defenders, the two Lords split up as Etherielle ran, lighsabers lit, headlong into the enemy in a wild assault. Etherielle was a Zabrak, tattooed, horned, and fearsome in a crimson leather outfit and cape. Lord Furnis was tall, implacable, and armored in black, a half-cape over his shoulders to the small of his back. His single black-red blade burned like the deep red of a pulsar nebula to match his smouldering, hate-filled eyes. He walked slowly, almost contemptously swatting bolts back toward those with the audacity to fire on him as he advanced, seemingly unstoppably toward them.
Etherielle carved a swathe through the defenders, leaping and tumbling, her twin blades carving wide arcs as she utilized her Ataru skill to weave a deadly path of destruction. Along sandbagged positions and into the tower itself, she disarmed, and variously decapitated and dismembered the Fondorean defenders. The day would see Lord Etherielle having worked her way from the bottom of the tower to the roof, standing among a dozen bodies, the remains of a final holdout group on the roof.
Lord Furnis focused his attention on the heavies. An armored trooper was held in place with the Force, as Furnis slowly and deliberately ran the man through with his blade at a walk. He let the body drop, and the trooper slid off his lowered blade to the ferrocrete. Another armored wouldbe hero approached, and made to draw twin heavy pistols from each hip. Furnis raised a hand, and with his hate, burning, twisted the Force to grab each of the man's hands and wrists and clench them backwards, snapping each of the man's wrists simultaneously with an audible crack. He let the man fall, screaming, unable to defend himself. The man had charged, and Furnis had stepped aside, easily avoiding the clumsy, useless move. Furnis reached out, and snapped the man's left knee, hyperextending the joing backwards roughly with the Force. He let the crippled trooper's rage and pain fuel him for several moments, pausing only to turn and cut down across the waist an attacker who had run at his back with a vibrosword, disemboweling him. The scream was music to the Sith's ears, and he had slowly, methodically, run his way through each of the valiant but doomed men and women who stood and fought.
Furnis killed the brave, while Etherielle ran down the cowards. The day's slaughter had been bloody, but calculated. Only here had resistance been both well-armed and organized. By making a lasting example here, the Sith put out notice of what was in store for those who defied them. By making this the one and only example required, they more easily convinced Fondor that it was better to serve than to be destroyed. And for the Fondoreans, slavery would prove to be such a golden cage, that in time, they would seldom even notice the bars. As the Sith had planned...
The news of the conquest, and associated death toll, when it was announced to the galaxy, was simply that of a small, local rebellion among milita forces due to a pay dispute, and heavy handed tactics from a rogue general in putting down the rebellion. Oridin City and Fondor remained in the hands of the legally elected government. The same man was planetary governor, the same senate and lower house was represented, and all services went on as they had before the Sith arrival. The only difference was, a few hundred people in the government knew the whole truth, that Fondor answered to the Sith Lord Apoplex. As more time went by, the people who knew the secret would be eliminated, quietly, in various ways, until only the sitting governor and senator would know to whom they owed allegiance. Sith would be dispersed among the military, government and business spheres to ensure they retained control, and quietly, quietly, they would be free to do their work, while the people of Fondor, billions of beings, lived out their lives, oblivious...

In the main building of Fondor's Planetary government, the Sith's new Senator was meeting the planetary governor and his guests for a formal welcome ceremony. The Fondor representatives only know that he's a non-human named Bartab and that he comes highly recommended by several law societies.
In the hallway leading to the grand ballroom where the reception awaits, Bartab, resplendent in his dark green Senatorial robes, is attended by two other ewoks, his adopted nephew and his grandson.
If you two don't stop buggering around, no drinking for a month! He spoke in the ewok language, no need for the translation droid, a 3P0 droid head that hung over the front of his shoulder. One of the younger ewoks was in a red tuxedo, one in a blue. They looked patently ridiculous as they escorted Bartab to his new role as Planetary Senator.
Emu - He started it!
Swan - You go and kriff yourself you lying human! A mortal insult like that would have started a fistfight right there and then, and would have, had Bartab not Force choked both of them at the same time. After a moment or two, they stopped struggling, and glared at one another, but dared no more than that. Bartab sighed, and led the way into the chamber. The looks on the faces of the humans as three ewoks, one in Senatorial garb, two in small tuxedoes, was all the price of the effort he'd have to make later. He smiled and shook the hand of the gobsmacked Planetary Governor.
A pleasure to meet you. I look forward to serving the people of Fondor to the best of my ability. The droid rendered his Ewokese into Basic without preamble, having been threatened with dismantling by Bartab if he went off on his own tangents. There was a slight injured tone as it translated the chittering ewok speech.
Planetary Governor Aldur Belmakor could only stammer out his response We are.. honored to have you represent us
Bartab coughed and glared up at the arrogant human. He waved one ewok paw, as if to say, 'go on'. Belmakor reddened, and added
Your Excellency. Bartab favoured the room with a wide toothy ewok grin. The rest of the function went more smoothly. Despite the efforts of the younger two, who behaved little better than savage woks from the deep forest, Bartab managed to corner most of the open-minded humans and grind a few arrogant egos down to size. Once he'd accomplished that, he found a group he could work with. If they didn't like working for an ewok, tough. They'd better do their jobs right, past that, as long as they showed him the respect he felt he was due, he didn't care a whit for what they thought. And so, the new Senator for Fondor began his term of office. Life on Fondor just got a lot more interesting.

~ The Flying Mynock Bar - Fondor City ~
Artemis sighed softly as she looked around the seedy bar. They'd been looking for the target for several days now and followed his trail to the dirty back alleyways of the city and to this bar. It wasn't the first time they'd ended up in the more shady parts of a city, and it wouldn't be the last time. When you were in the line of work that they were in it was hard to not end up in the more unsavory areas of a planet. Looking to the side, she gave her companion a small grin before giving a slight nod of her head toward one of the tables in the far corner of the bar where their target sat with a couple of scantily clad women. His attention was on the ladies and with the bar being rather poorly lit, he never even noticed that they'd entered the establishment.
"Nice to see how badly his conscience is bothering him after ripping off the fine citizens of the planet." Looking back to their target, she took the mini crossbow out of the holster on her left thigh. With a quick flick of her wrist, the bow snapped into place. Placing a clip of arrow bolts into the device, she cast sidelong glance to her companion. "How do we want to do this, Aros?"

Going to places like this was actually a pretty welcome relief for Aros. In the finer parts of town where they would occasionally have jobs his large size and the great sword on his back would at the very least get strange looks. Here in a bar full of thugs and whores he was actually less conspicuous. Despite living a good part of his life in relative comfort he didn't blend in as well in the good parts of town. As the haze of the smoke filled room began to sting at his eyes he ran his hand through his short white hair. Seeing their quarry right as his partner points them out Aros can only shrug.
I don't know, questions before blades? He gestures casually at the table as he lets his grey eyes wonder about the bar looking for other dangers that may decide to prevent themselves. Go charm him up a bit and see if I am going to have to break a few thick skulls before we leave today. He laughs ever so lightly as he adjusts the brown cape that he wears over his simple white shirt, casually checking his weapons as he does so. It wasn't as if he was incapable of being the conversation starter, it's just that in the pair's experience, people are more likely to talk an attractive young woman than they are to talk to a scarred brute, of course that could be useful sometimes as well, but since they weren't sure how this particular scam artist would react it was always better to open with the calm and end with the storm.

Chuckling to herself, she nodded her head slightly at his words. Lowering the mini crossbow to her side, she took a deep breath while eying the other patrons of the bar for a moment. Edging a little closer to the bar, she took out a credit chip and slide it across the wood surface to the gruff looking bartender. Leaning in, she gave him her best flirty smile and whispered. "Do me a favor, big boy....whatever happens in the next, oh say fifteen minutes, just look the other way and pretend we're not even here. This should cover the cost of any damages incurred."
Letting go of the credit chip, she straightened up again with a wink and a grin. The bartender picked up the chip, his eyes widening when he saw the amount it was worth. It would be enough for him to renovate the whole bar with. Wait, screw the renovations, he could retire and get the hell out of this place! Looking back to the pretty young woman, totally ignoring her gigantic companion, he pocketed the credit chip and nodded his head enthusiastically before moving down to the far end of the bar.
Glancing back to Aros with a smirk, crossbow still at her side, she turned on her heel and silently headed toward the booth where their target sat. Luckily the bar band had started a new song so sneaking up on the booth was rather easily accomplished. When Artemis was standing right behind the target, Aros not far away, she rose the mini crossbow and held it to the mans neck just below his jaw with her left hand while simultaneously bringing her right hand up in a firm grip on his shoulder. Leaning in closely, she spoke into his ear. Hello, John. Fancy meeting an upstanding citizen such as yourself in a place like this. Be a good boy and put your hands where I can see them, mmmk?"
The target, John Jonas, gave a startled jump when he felt the crossbow against his neck and a hand on his shoulder then heard her voice. Ahh hell, she'd found him! He tried to move but the vice-like grip she had on the nerve in his shoulder kept him in place. Looking around wide eyed he shakily placed his hands on the table in front of him as he saw her partner not far away....all six foot, seven inches of the man. Dammit to hell! The scantily clad young women gave small screams before abandoning him to the two hunters. Damn whores. He should've known they'd run like scared womp rats when danger arose. Laughing nervously, he spread his fingers out on the table and began talking.
=John= "Artie, baby! I was just gonna come find you and let you know I was gonna turn myself in to the Fondor authorities! I know it was wrong to steal all that money...and breaking into the military warehouse, that was wrong too and..."
She narrowed her eyes when he began babbling and in a flash she was now sitting across from him in the booth with the crossbow held about 6 inches away from his face, pointed straight at his mouth. If he continued talking there was a good chance she'd shoot an arrow bolt down his throat, or at the very least she'd aim at other body parts. Leaning across the table, the hand that held the crossbow never wavering, she spoke in a low tone.
"Don't...ever...call me 'Artie' again. Not if you want to continue to enjoy breathing naturally and without the aid of a respirator."
John swallowed hard, shutting his mouth and eying her warily. This wasn't the first time their paths had crossed and he knew she could be a crazy bitch. She had no qualms about putting one of those arrow bolts into someone, though he also knew she never aimed to kill unless it was absolutely necessary. Even knowing that, he still didn't want one of those sharp bolts anywhere in his body. He cast the big man a nervous glance before silently looking back to Artemis again.

Watching as his partner talks to the barkeep quietly before Moving on, Aros begins watching the other Patrons. Although the place was packed as far as dive standards went, no one looked particularly troublesome, at least not yet. Ignoring the conversation between his partner and the target he continues to keep an eye out for trouble. He wasn't too worried about "Artie" being able to handle the bumbling fool, but despite his foolish bumbling he was still a minor lieutenant in the Black Diamond, a local crime syndicate, which means.. he probably has backup. As the thought moves through his mind he notices an almost unnoticeable move from a man in a nearby booth.
Just as the brutish blaster cleared the holster Aros was a blur of motion, nearly imperceptible to the naked eye. Grasping the blaster with both of his large hands Aros twists, creating a sickening CRACK sound across the whole place as the thug's wrist brutally snapped, and a second more fleshy sound as the big man slams his right elbow into the man's face, shattering his nose and dropping him slumped against the booth seat. With the same motion he turns back to the crowd and draws a wicked curved foot long blade from one of his forearm sheaths with his left hand and smiles politely, letting his grey eyes scan the crowd coldly. Anyone else? He asks with an expression that suggests that he'd really like someone else to make a move.
Without turning his head from the rest of the bar he speaks to his partner who's table is now directly behind the big man. You know we could sit here with him all day but our mark is dead or alive so I'd suggest getting him moving now before I get impatient. Although usually he was amused by his partners mind games they were in this man's part of town and although he certainly enjoys a good fight, he wasn't looking forward to the fines and bribes they'd have to pay to make the situation disappear from official records. While they technically were in the bounds of their contracts planetary officials generally frowned no firefights and corpses.

~ The Flying Mynock Bar - Fondor City ~Artemis felt, or more accurately, she sensed a very minute change in the nearby vicinity just mere seconds before Aros, in a blur of motion, disarmed a man that had tried to pull a blaster from a holster at his side. There was the distinct crack of breaking bones as Aros snapped the mans wrist, then with an elbow to the face, also broke the mans nose. Smirking, she tisked amusingly under her breath as she quickly glance at the injured man that Aros had disarmed. "You Black Diamond guys aren't the brightest creatures, are you? I remember a time when Black Diamond used to pride themselves on being all stealthy and ninja like. Now you all act like a bunch of blind hyper active neeks looking for a handout."Casting her gaze back to John, she noted that he was trying to sneakily, and slowly, move his right hand toward his body to the concealed blaster that she knew he kept hidden in a shoulder holster under his jacket on the left side. She moved so quickly that he never saw her bring up the rather large knife from her right side until she'd already had it stabbed through his left hand, which he still had spread out in front of him on the table. All thoughts of trying to get his blaster out from under his jacket left his head as he howled in pain, and surprise, when she sank the knife all the way through his hand, pinning it to the table with a dull thunk. The small crossbow that she held in her left hand was once again pointed right at his face. Did she even move from her seat? He couldn't be sure since it all happened so fast and his hand was throbbing with pain and trickling blood, the blade still embedded through it and into the table top. He was sure the blood would start gushing when she pulled the blade free, but she didn't look to be in any hurry to free his palm from the scarred wooden surface. She narrowed her brown eyes and titled her head slightly, seemingly looking through him. A few of the bar patrons that had curiously looked around to see what all the fuss was about didn't seem too concerned when they heard him cry out and saw the knife sticking out of the back of his hand. Some even chuckled, loudly, muttering something about didn't he know better than to piss off a woman with weapons. However, a few of them did keep a wary eye on Aros after seeing him easily take down the other Black Diamond thug beforehand and the people that had been sitting at the tables near them had decided it was time to vacate the area to another part of the bar. There was no love loss between the law abiding citizens of Fondor and the Black Diamond goons so they tended to turn a blind eye when one of them was picked up by bounty hunters or other authority figures.
Artemis continued to stare at John while the other patrons went about their business. Most of them had moved far away from table where they sat and she was perfectly fine with that. The less people in the way, the less people would get hurt. But there was still a couple of lingering figures a couple of tables away. A man and a woman. The couple seemed oblivious to the ruckus, but Artemis knew better. Pursing her lips, she spoke in a low even tone to Aros, while keeping her icy gaze on John."Aros, three o'clock. The man and woman...."The words no more left her mouth when the man, in a flurry of motion, pulled a blaster from under the table and began firing. Hastily, Artemis lunged across the table she and John were sitting at, shooting arrow bolts towards the other man as she did so, and shoved him down in the booth seat, his left hand still pinned to the table by her knife. He yelped again in pain at the tearing of skin and other tissues in his hand while Artemis reached around him and pulled the blaster free of it's holster under his left arm. Another blaster bolt sailed over their heads as she reached up, while shooting the blaster she'd just taken from John, and yanked the knife out of the table top, painfully freeing his hand in the process. John rolled off the seat and onto the floor, cowering underneath the table like a two year old, holding his hand and whimpering.
The other patrons in the bar scattered like rats on a sinking ship and those that couldn't get out through all the crowd, ducked behind anything they could to avoid the blaster bolts. She'd lost track of the woman, and Aros, amidst the chaos but knew the man was close by because she could sense him. Drawing the Force around her, she gave John a sidelong look, muttering none to quietly under her breath."I just hope you're worth all this damn trouble, Jonas! If I get killed trying to collect a bounty on you I swear to every god you can think of that I WILL haunt you until the day you die and then haunt you some more in the focking afterlife!"Putting the mini cross bow back in it's holster on her left thigh, she checked the blaster, seeing that it probably wouldn't hold out if this fight turned into a lengthy one. Laying on her back on the booth seat, she looked up at the ceiling, listening. She could hear people moving around and whispering in hushed tones in the barroom. She still wasn't sure where Aros was but she knew he was still breathing, that much she could sense through the Force. Sighing softly, she turned her head and looked down at John."I don't suppose you have any more weapons on you, do you?" She knew he rarely carried more than the blaster, but she could always hope. "Who's the friendly neighborhood welcoming committee? Some more of your friends from Black Diamond?"He chuckled dryly at her questions while he wrapped his hand with a piece of his shirt that he'd torn off. Inhaling deeply, he released the breath and meet her eyes with his. "They aren't friends of mine, but they are with the BD. They followed me in here and were waiting for the chance to off me. Apparently BD doesn't like it when you try to beat them at their own game. They're the ones I took the money from. It was their blood money and I was going to put it too good use by getting the hell off this rock and starting over with Rita and our kid. They're already in the Core Worlds....probably Coruscant or Corellia. I'm suppose to contact Rita when I get off this damn planet and we're going to decide where to settle." He looked down with a deep sigh, suddenly feeling a lot older than his thirty five years. He knew he gambled one time too many by even being associated with Black Diamond, let alone being one of their lower ranked personnel. His specialty was accounting, and he was good at it. He'd worked for BD for close to 20 years now, making his way up through the lower ranks, and socked away a small fortune with what they paid him to doctor the books, not to mention the money he pilfered from them over the years. Small amounts here and there at first, then came the bigger plays. He'd managed to garner nearly half a billion credits in fifteen years. Someone caught on and the big bosses questioned him and a couple of the other accountants. To make a point, the bosses killed the other two men right in front of him. It was their way of narrowing the field of who was behind the missing credits. It took them almost another year to figure out that it was him all along. Lucky for him he'd already went into hiding and had gotten Rita and their son off of the planet. Running a hand through his hair, he continued."I'm the one who put the bounty out on myself. I knew, and hoped, if you caught wind of it that you'd be all over it. You and Aros are my ticket out of here and you're going to make a good chunk of credits doing it. That's IF we make it out of here alive." Raising an eyebrow, she wasn't sure if she believed him or not, but one thing was for sure - she refused to die in some little back alley dive bar, and she was pretty sure Aros felt the same way. Checking the blaster, she moved her head from side to side cracking her neck. Taking a deep breath, she reached into the Force, rising from her position on the bench while doing so. As she rose, she spotted the woman half way across the room. When the woman turned to look around, Artemis calmly put up the middle finger of her right hand with a smirk before sending a silent Force push toward the woman. The smirk and rude gesture momentarily perplexed the other woman, giving enough time for the push to hit her square in the chest, toppling her backwards causing her to go head over heels knocking her unconscious. Ducking down behind the booth again, Artemis chuckled lightly and waited to see if the man would show himself again, that's if Aros hadn't already taken care of him.

Well that escalated quickly. Bloodmoon's warning hit the ears of the big man just as his own senses began to sense the danger. Even so he was barely able to turn around in time to see the man pull the blaster and start to fire. As he began his wild spray Aros leaped to the left, sliding under a table as he did and quickly toppling it over to put the heavy wood of the tabletop between himself and the assailants. As the bolts began to crack the wood Aros made a snap decision and with an amazing feat of force assisted strength he stood up and in a single motion tossed the table he had just been cowering behind right into the position where he felt the pair. They shouldn't have had time to do anything.... but they did. With a sudden burst the two leaped in opposite directions, the woman landing half way across the room toward where his partner and their target were and the man landing almost right in front of the big hunter. The reason for their reaction times was explained suddenly when the distinctive sound of a lightsaber activation was heard and a glowing gold blade began arching toward Aros' midriff. Recovering quickly from his surprise he is still just barely able to get his knife down, infusing it with the strength of his own force power, and stop the blade.
Forcies! Is all the big man can get out to his partner before he has to duck a reversal aimed at his head. From that duck Aros makes a force assisted leap into the air, trying to give himself distance just in time to see Artemis startle the woman and knock her down. Not knowing or caring if she shared her compatriots abilities he sees his chance to put the odds more in their favor and takes it. Flicking out his left hand mid air he embeds the already drawn knife into the woman's throat. With an explosion of blood he feels the life leave her just as he sees the gold blade and man propelling toward his temporarily unarmed form. It's not that he didn't believe Artemis was capable of killing the woman, she had certainly shown her willingness and ability to do so with many a target before, but without knowing the full danger of the situation he knew she would not have followed up immediately with a death blow, it just wasn't her nature.
A feral grin spreads across his face as another table suddenly slams into the man from below with the force of a telekinetic pull that he hadn't expected was already prepared for him. The crack of his skull and the mist of blood from it were as much an indicator of his death as the scream in the force that accompanied it. Landing a few meters away from corpses of the pair Aros immediately reaches out with is senses and find more people wishing us ill intent moving swiftly toward the building, although he could not tell if their were any more force users among them. Lifting up the same table that had killed the man Aros began to stack a barricade at the front door as he turned to Artemis, trying to avoid getting any brain goo or skull fragments caught in his clothes as he did so. Call Bron, we need an immediate air evac, there is no way we are getting out this door alive. The grey eyed man hated having to call the Corellian orphan into danger like this, but despite his barely 17 years he was still the best pilot Aros had ever seen and they needed support bad right about now. Taking his thoughts away from that task he continued to barricade the place up as members of the BD began to gather out front.

From her position behind the booth, Artemis couldn't see what was happening, but she could hear Aros taking care of business the only way he knew how. She had heard him yell out that they were dealing with Forcies, heard the distinct snap-hiss of lightsabers, and felt the life force leave the two that had dared attack them a few mere seconds later. Stretching out her senses, she felt more of what she could only assume were BD people gathering outside of the bar. Closing her eyes momentarily, she drew on the Force as Aros began piling tables, chairs, and pretty much whatever he could find in front of the main door of the bar. Taking a chance, she glanced around the edge of the booth and saw that the bar was empty, for the most part, except for the few people taking cover behind overturned tales and other debris. Most of them had scattered, leaving through the front door before Aros blocked it and through the back exit before part of the ceiling had fallen down and blocked it.
Continuing to look around the room, Artemis spied an access panel in the ceiling, not far from where the BD woman lay, that most likely led to the roof of the building. With BD people gathering outside, it was their only option to get out of the place. Her attention was brought away from the ceiling by Aros telling her to comm Bron to come and get them. Nodding her head, once, she pulled out her comlink and began speaking into it.
:: Hey kid...we're in a bit of a jam down here. You think you could swing by and get us the hell out of here? We'll be on the roof when you get here. ::
She paused, glancing at the ceiling panel again, not really expecting Bron to reply to the comm. He usually just had a habit of showing up. Looking around the room once again, her eyes connected with Aros' as she pointed up to the access panel letting him know that it was probably their only option for escaping. Casting her gaze on John again, she gave him a half smile.
"I really hope you like climbing, Jonas, because there's only one way out of here now."

Ca'guuror was walking along slowly, enjoying the world of Fondor. He was here for several reasons, mostly to talk to the Fondorian shipyards. They where known for building secret highly advance ships and he was interest in possibly having them help him work upon his own personal design of ship. However he had to wait, and his appointment wasn't til the next day. So he was out simply enjoying what the world had to offer. So there he was, walking along a road when he noticed something quite unusual. Several people went running past himself, a few screaming and one girl crying. Slowly he raised an eyebrow, wondering what was going on. Moving along the way which the runners had come from, he quickly could here shouting and yelling as well as...was that gun fire?
As he came around a corner, he paused and viewed a group of people gathered in front of some building. He leaned against the corner of a wall, crossing his arms over his chest. He watched as one of them, apparently the leader was yelling at the building they where standing in front of. He gathered somebody inside was their target, and judging by the barricaded state of the door they where attempting to enter this person didn't want to come out to the group of people. He stood, contemplating what to do. Should he get involved or keep his nose in his own business. As he stood there contemplating, something tickled his left ear and he looked down. Tridra had licked his ear and was staring at him with all six of the divto's three heads.
"Alright, fine. I'll help out whoever it is. Just stop giving me that look, or I'll skin you and make you in to a nice pair of boots."
Rolling his eyes the male pushed away from the wall. He walked towards the group of people before him. Seeing as they where exceptionally interested in the door they where attempting to force entry through, he remained undetected despite the fact he wasn't even attempting to hide. He walked up to the closer individual, and when he was with in reach he smirked. He walked right up to the person, and with a graceful agile motion he wrapped his arms around the male's neck. His right hand grasped the left aide of his chin, and his left hand grasped the right side of the back of his head. With a jerking of his hands a mere moment after they touched flesh, he jerked them back to their proper sides with the end result there was a sickening crack of bones and the male fell dead with out a single noise.
Flowing with an agility and dexterity that was clearly not human, he flowed from the slaughter of the first male towards the next individual who had seen the commotion from their peripheral vision. Snapping his arms down and out away from his sides, the retractable talon like blades ejected from the male's fingertips much like a feline unsheathing its claws. His right foot snapped out, striking his next opponent's knee cap and snapping it sideways. A scream of torment was torn from the lips as bones shattered and loosing balance the being fell to its side. As it fell, Cag stepped past the falling person and a swift swipe of claws laid their screaming throat open from ear to ear in four red lines. The screams silenced in to soft gurgles as blood billowed from the wound, flowing in to their throat and and filling their lungs even as it rushed down their chest.
The screamed had brought the attention of the others now however, and Cag was exposed as they turned towards him. The shock of seeing him there suddenly, along side two of their fallen comrades afforded him the half a second he needed. Cag drew his songsteel katana with his right hand from his left side, and stepping forward he followed through the slicing motion across the chest of a third person flaying flesh from bone and apart white bones as blood spurted. The next person already had a blaster raised, and Cag had to reach out with a snap of his left free hand. His shuk'orok enclad hand wrapped around the barrel of the weapon and crushed it in to a mangled mess rendering it useless. The person reached for their side, trying to draw another weapon but Cag wasn't about to let them. He threw the destroyed blaster at the to knock their hand away momentarily, giving him a chance to step forward. Clenching his fist he thrust it in to the solar plexus knocking the wind from their lungs. He then destroyed their jaw with a upper cut that lifted the person from their feet and sent them sprawling unconscious on their back.
A snap hiss drew Cag's attention, and he looked at the last person. A golden blade lightsaber was lifted towards Cag, and he grinned exposed his sharpened upper and lower canines. "Wanna dance?" He growled, spinning his songsteel katana about his right wrist. Tridra tightened his grip on his master's arm and shoulder in anticipation to hold on through out the battle.

Emma had been relaxing in the lounge of the YX-1980, playing a friendly game of Dejarik with Bron, whilst recounting some of her adventures to her younger brother, when the comm call had come through from Artemis, requesting an immediate evac from the roof of the bar they were in. Bron dashed along the middle corridor of the ship and made his way into the cockpit, quickly kicking the ships repulsor lifts into gear, causing the ship to rise into the air, before the engines kicked in and propelled them across the rooftops of the city, whilst Emma calmly strolled into the cockpit a few seconds later and took a seat in the co-pilot position, and watched the city speed by below them, as she waited for them to get closer to their destination.
It wasn't long before Bron was throttling back the engines and brought the ship a little closer to the rooftops as they did a pass over of the bar that Artemis and Aros' signal was coming from. Emma rose from her seat and leaned forward onto the control console to give her a better view of the situation below, taking note of the group currently gathered at the front of the building that were trying to break in, along with the singular figure that was currently engaging several members in a fight outside. Numbers-wise, the odds were definitely not in their favour, especially since she was lacking her power suits, but with the stranger on the ground tearing into the group, she could probably drop onto the roof and whittle away the resistance a little more, and they might be able to make a quick get away Bring us around so I can drop onto the roof. Make sure you stay close by... Bron gave a nod as he brought the YX-1980 around in a wide banking motion and lowered the ramp, allowing Emma to walk down it as the ship dropped slightly lower, the air causing her ponytail to flick around behind her as she held onto one of the ramps lowering arms. As Bron slowed the ship to an almost absolute stop above the bar's roof, Emma jumped off the ramp and did a partial front flip through the air, before the mini repulsors in her heels activated and slowed her down as she landed on the roof, before Bron banked the ship up and to the left as a few of the members of Black Diamond shoot at the ship with the blasters to no avail. Emma then unholstered her Heavy Blaster Pistol from her thigh holster and walked towards the edge of the roof and fired off a series of shots down into the group, aiming for the men closest to the door, managing to take a couple men down, before she was forced to retreat back a few steps as a volley of shots came her way

Artemis narrowed her eyes as the interior of the bar seemed rather quiet now. Raising her head up a little over the seat of the booth, she looked around seeing the two Black Diamond people, the man and the woman, were now dead. Arching an eyebrow, she didn't have to wonder how they got that way. She knew Aros had dispatched them, which was probably for the best because now they didn't have to worry about being attacked from the inside - or so she thought. Cautiously standing up, she motioned for Jonas to come out from his hiding place underneath the booth table. He stood, a little nervously, and silently observed the carnage in the bar. Aros was busy stacking a few kegs up underneath the ceiling panel so they could make their way to the rooftop to meet up with Bron and his sister, Emma.
Once Aros had the kegs stacked up just so, he climbed up to the ceiling panel and gave it a good whack with his hand a couple of times until it finally popped loose and fell to the floor. After casting a steely eye around the rooftops surroundings, he looked back down at Artemis and Jonas with a cocky smile then pulled himself up through the opening. Leaning back through the hole, he motioned them up as he helped pull Jonas to the relative safety of the roof. Artemis was just reaching the opening when she heard a loud crash behind her. Looking back down, she saw that some of the BD goons were managing to dig through the rubble at the back entrance and a couple of them had already started shooting wildly into the bar.
"Shiiiit!..."
She muttered more to herself than anyone within earshot. Scrambling to the top of the now shaky keg stack, she didn't stop to see where the BD idiots were as she pulled herself through the rooftop opening. A stray blaster bolt grazed her left thigh, an inch or so above the knee, just as she pulled herself completely through the hole. That brought on a new round of cussing as she struggled into a sitting position on the roof and began assessing the damage done to her leg.
Aros had joined Emma in shooting down at the BD, all the while trying to avoid hitting one individual down there (Ca'guuror) who seemed to be happily taking out as many BD riff-raff as he could and inadvertently aiding them in their escape in the process while their bounty, Jonas, huddled next to one of the heating units on the rooftop. In a lull in the shooting, Aros looked to Emma then jerked a thumb behind himself toward Artemis. It was the big mans silent way of telling the blonde to go check on their partner since he knew that Artemis had taken at least one blaster shot.

Cag slowly circled the person who had activated a lightsaber, like a predator circling prey that knew it was there. He feinted towards his opponent, to gadge a reaction to see how proficient they where. The instant swing of the plasma weapon told him they where quick, but fully attuned like a fully trained force sensitive should be otherwise they would have been able to read that feint easily. He wriggled his taloned fingers, a habit of his when he was thinking. Blaster bolts where coming form around him, like a deadly rain from above indicating somebody was either trying to help him or startle him. He tended to think help seeing as quite a few gangsters where struck down and many of the others where returning fire.
A sudden snap was heard loudly, and something heavy struck his sword. A whip wrapped around the blade, and with a snap another group member yank Cag's weapon away from him. The light saber wielding opponent took the advantage and attacked, swinging the sizzling weapon down towards Cag's skull. However, even with out his sword Cag wasn't weaponless. He reached up and his metal clad fingers wrapped around the light saber blade, and his bicep twitched as he stopped the downward thrust. He smiled a feral grin, stepping closer toward his opponent his hand sliding down the glowing blade of energy. His right hand, now free of the weapon it was holding clenched together. Open handed, fingers clenched together and held rigid and drove them forward and in to the bowels of his opponent. The razor talons slice through flesh and armor like butter, and his hand disappeared in to the wide eyed opponents abdomen. Then with a wrench he jerked his hand back, fingers having closed in to a fist and blood gushed forth, followed by slimey coils of intestines as he disembowled his opponent.
Cag hadn't forgotten about the whip wielding imbecile either beside him. He dropped his bloodied hand and grasped the firearm at his side. He lifted it and pointed it at the guy, and pulled the trigger. Even as the man attempted to dodge around behind cover, the projectile followed him and when about a meter from him burst open unleashing a cloud of miniature flechette darts that blanket the area. They ripped through the man, shredding clothing, flesh, and up to medium grade armor. A truly deadly, and effective weapon indeed. Cag depressed a button on the underside of his lrft arm discreetly, summoning Talyc who would reach his location in under a minute. Looking around Cag quickly knelt and snatched up the light saber of the opponent he had killed. He grabbed up several other weapons as well, attaching as many as he could here and there. He moved as quickly as possible, grabbing up what he thought would be the most expensive weapons and finally reached the man he had shredded with his own fire arm. Holstering it, he grabbed his sword and slid it in to the scabbard at his side, then picked up the whip the man had been using. He examined it and decided to keep the weapon. It would be good to learn to use.
Talyc came smashing through an alley, his three and a half meter tall frame shoving anything and everything unlucky enough to get caught in the Basilisk war droids path away while his massive brawling claws ensured anything organic was reduced to ribbons. The robot stopped before Cag and emitted an unmistakable purr which made the humanoid male laugh. "Good girl, Talyc." He said and pulled himself up in to the seat on the droids back. He quickly placed the assorted weapons he had stolen from the dead upon different places of the droid then suddenly the hind flaps folded back and the two engines on it engaged. He blasted out of the street and the machine landed upon the roof with a tremendous noise.
"Anybody need any help up here?" He asked nonchalantly as if he did this every day.

Emma had moved forward again a couple more times in between the volleys that the Black Diamong goons had been firing from below, taking a couple more of their men out, before Aros had finally joined her in taking out the trash. She then holstered her pistol and carefully backed up, before turning around to go find where Artemis was currently seated, when Aros had motioned to her to go check on her, finding her a few moments later seated next to the hole that they had come out of. Emma smirked as she knelt down next to Artemis and had a look at the graze that she'd recieved, noting that most of the worst of it had been diverted by the woman's clothing, and the fact that who ever had been shooting was just blindly firing Doesn't look too bad... 'Tis but a scratch, as they say... Emma then quickly drew her pistol and aimed it towards the stranger, as his war droid landed on the roof a few moments later, in something of an automatic reaction to anyone that tries sneaking up on her during combat situations. She looked at the man for a moment, before realizing he was the one on the ground fighting the Black Diamond thugs, not that she lowered her pistol yet, since none of them seemed to know the new comer, nor what his intentions were Oh... it's just you... don't sneak up on someone in a combat zone, you're like to get shot... and we're fine, thanks for asking... Bron had already started to bring the ship down and closer to the bar's rooftop when he noticed that most of the BD thugs had been taken care of, and was just awaiting word from Emma, Artemis or Aros to come pick them up, or provide some air support shots from the YX-1980's main guns, either way, the ship was looming not far in the air waiting to act according to the next set or orders given to Bron

Great, just great. Another simple snatch and go turned into a kriffin' war zone. We were not going to be coming back to Fondor anytime soon that was sure. Even if they were criminal riffraff the authorities would have a book full of questions that the big man really didn't want to deal with. With the arrival of the war droid most of the remaining BD thugs decided we were no longer worth whatever reward had been promised and turned tail and ran as fast as they could. With a few parting shots and a scream to rival a bear Aros turned back from edge of the building to look at the team... and this new, strange fellow. Aros didn't like strangers, never had, but this guy had been killing their enemies so he couldn't be totally bad... maybe. Violently slamming his blaster back in it's holster the big man picks Jonas up and tosses him up and half way across the ramp to the ship before gesturing to the two women to go up after him. Aros preferred to be the last to leave, especially when there are strangers about. Turning to the strange looking man Aros lightly fingered the foot long knives in their forearm sheaths.
Thank for the help. Aros said grudgingly. It had been helpful, although there was a lot more carnage than he had intended. Damn forcies, how the hell did the BD have forcies working for them. That didn't matter now the big man supposed, at least not immediately. They aren't going to be happy about that. He gestured to the corpses littering the street below, not clarifying if he meant the authorities or the BD. I'd get away pretty quick if I were you, unless you'd like to kill a lot more people. He left that last sentence open as if he wasn't sure if that really was what the man would prefer. He didn't know anything about this man, aside from that he was dangerous. And dangerous men were rarely on you side in Aros' experience. With a blank face Aros gestured up to the waiting ship. We can drop you off somewhere if you'd like, but we've got to get moving. And they would, although Aros intended to watch the man closely for as long as they were together.

The wound on her leg wasn't quite as bad as it first seemed, but it was still a burn and still hurt like hell. Cursing again, this time at not having a bacta patch handy, she looked up when Emma came over and to see if she was okay. Pulling herself up and leaning on one of the other heating units, Artemis looked at Emma with a scowl on her face.
"Yeah it's nothing a bacta patch won't fix, though the pants are gonna need a little more than that. Dammit! I liked these pants too."
The sound of something thumping on the roof behind them caused Artemis to jerk around, mini crossbow suddenly in her hand, to see a Basilisk War Droid with a man sitting atop it, land on the roof and inquire if anyone needed any help. Before she could say anything, Emma was already admonishing the man for making a sneaky entrance like that. Meanwhile, Bron had maneuvered the ship into place and lowered the ramp while Aros had yanked Jonas up from his hiding place behind the other heating unit and practically tossed the man up the ramp almost as soon as Bron lowered it. Jonas gave a yelp of pain as his injured hand was jostled but didn't dare complain. Instead, he scrambled to is feet and entered the ship.
Artemis glanced at Aros then back to the man on the droid with a small grin. "Thanks for helping out. Like he said...." She nodded her head toward Aros as she began walking to the ramp, limping slightly. "We can drop you off somewhere if you want...or help you out with some spare supplies if you need them - but we can't stay here. It won't be long until the authorities show up, or more Black Diamond guys. And trust me....we don't want either one of those things to happen."

Emma gave a nod about the Bacta Patch fixing the graze, knowing that they had a handful of them in the first aid supplies on the ship, but the pants were definitely a lost cause for the time being, since Artemis didn't seem too big on the ripped clothing idea. She then turned and gave a nod to Aros, before holstering her pistol and started heading up into the ship just ahead of Artemis, making sure to escort Jonas to one of the rooms before making her way back to the cockpit, most likely arriving back after the others had boarded. She quickly found the small first aid kit and tossed Artemis over a Bacta Patch, before taking the co-pilot seat again, even though Bron was doing all the work anyway. Once everybody that was coming was onboard, and the relevent cargo bay was closed (assuming Cag decided to join them), Bron would raise the ramp and slowly increase power to the engines and repulsor lifts, causing the YX-1980 to raise up through the atmosphere and head for orbit

The benefits, of joining the Corellian Coalition, were still felt upon Fondor and throughout the Tapani Sector. The ecumenpolis of Fondor was alive with activity as its economy and industry were at their greatest height since before the fall of the Republic. Fresh new ships were manufactured above in its mighty shipyards while, on the surface, factories churned out parts for ships and other necessary bits of technology. The Fondor Academy of Engineering and Design, once a place for recruitment into Kuat Drive Yards, had not faltered in ensuring that, not only Fondor, but the rest of the Coalition had a steady stream of capable engineers available.
