Office of Dr. Jena Shaewe
*Dr. Jena Shaewe's office is located in the section designated for all of the doctors of the RDMC. This particular section is set in an area of Red Dawn Medical Center/Cloning Facility for ease of access to both buildings/areas. The room is spacious for meetings with patients/clients. It has two other smaller rooms attached to it. One is a bathroom/refresher, and the other is a small sleeping space.
The office portion is furnished with a huge desk, a holo screen/computer several comfortable chairs, a coffee table, a mini refrigerator for food and drinks, a closet in one corner, and along one wall is a medical library. The bathroom/refresher has the basics, a toilet, a sink with a mirror above it, a shower and some cabinets containing towels, washcloths, soap, etc.. The sleeping space has a bed, a small chest of drawers, and, a small closet.
Also, in this same wing of the hospital, there are about 20+ private examination rooms. Some of the rooms are directly attached to doctors offices and the others are shared among the various doctors who also have offices on the premises. The examination rooms are equipped with an examination table and various items of medical supplies/equipment/medications/etc..*

RP continued from here--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Jena stopped in front of her office door and swiped her I.D. card in the slot beside the door then placed her palm on the scanner below the card swipe. When the door swished open she stepped inside and walked over to the small table containing the caf machine. Pouring herself a mug of caf, she motioned for Jake and the S'kytri woman to make themselves comfortable before Jake began his studies and she and the woman began their talk....

*Jake quietly followed along behind Doctor Shaewe as she led him and the S'kytri woman to her office. Occasionally he gave the other woman a look, but mostly he was focusing on the scenery on the way there, any labels or plaques or artwork and the like. He also kept an eye on his datapad, which had a map of the facility, trying to memorize the way they had come, wanting to familiarize himself with the facility as quickly as possible. When they reached the office, Jake watched as Doctor Shaewe used first a card then her own handprint to grant her access to her office, then ushered them inside.
Jake stepped in and looked around the office. It was surprisingly more modest than he'd expected. That was to say it was still a nice-looking office, but he was expecting something almost grandiose, with fancy decorations or fountains, stuff like that. Probably just his childhood wonderment getting the best of him as usual, but it was still a little surprising. He shrugged it off and, when gestured to make himself comfortable, looked around and located a comfy-looking chair that he climbed up into and settled in, feet dangling off the floor. It felt quite comfy, just as it looked, and so he remained seated there, quiet and patient for now.*

*Lavi slowly walks into the room following the other too, as before with a grace that came with a body lighter then one would expect from looking at her. She was also barefoot as usual. She scans the room silently, admiring many of the things adorning it. It was a really nice place. She looks at Jena and nods as she walks to a chair, and unwrapped her wings from herself to stretch them out before replacing them as they were and sitting down in the chair.*

Walking over to her desk, Jena set the mug down then picked up a datapad before turning back to face her guests. Moving over to Jake, she knelt down in front of him and brought up a list of the books and various other informational texts in her personal medical library and the RDMC's library. After choosing a few of the introductory level medical books, she met the boys gaze with a smile.
"Jake, if you'll please take out the datapad you were given earlier then I'll transfer some of the digital information to it for your studies. There's even a map of my personal library in here, and the hospitals library, so you can find the books, holobooks, and other necessary articles you might need during the course of your stay here...."

*Jake patiently waited for instruction, assuming that Doctor Shaewe would address the other woman before turning her attention to him. But to his surprise, she came to him first, kneeling beside him with a datapad and asking her to take out his own. He complied as she explained that she was going to transfer some information to him, including maps of not only the hospital's library, but Doctor Shaewe's own personal library. Jake's eyes widened; that sounded like a lot of information, and he grinned eagerly as he again complied to carry out the data transfer.*

*When the transfer was complete, he skimmed over the list of new information excitedly. With all this information, he could be an accomplished healer in no time! Or at the very least he'd have access to the knowledge whenever he needed it. But wait. Now what? Was he to start studying, or wait for Doctor Shaewe? Curiously, he looked up at her.*
Um, should I go study now, or wait for you? I-I mean I don't mind waiting! Just... I just want to know... to be sure! I mean.
*He chuckled nervously, wanting to be clear that he wasn't trying to be rude or anything. He honestly didn't mind waiting, he just wasn't sure what he should be doing right now. That, and he still didn't know where he'd be staying or anything like that.*

*Lavi sits there quietly not sure what to do while waiting for Jena to be ready for her. She let her eyes sweep over the room once more, taking it more of its details. It seemed real simple. As Jena and Jake spoke, she let her eyes fall onto the boy, it was interesting to observe their interactions as she sat there. The boy seemed eager and wanted to learn. She looks up to Jena after the exchange concluded.*

Still kneeling in front of the boy, Jena smiled at Jake's eagerness to begin learning. Chuckling softly, she patted Jake on the knee before pointing over to an open doorway of a room attached to the office. "You can go into that room over there, so we won't disturb you, and start reading the first chapter of basic first aid in this book...and this one."
She looked down at Jakes datapad and pointed out the first and second books on the list then continued speaking. "There's a desk, a chair, and a holoscreen with a terminal in the room so if you want to look something up on the holonet then you can. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask me." Standing up and straightening her lab coat, she smiled down at the boy, more than just a little impressed at his willingness to learn new things.

*Jake looked over at the door Doctor Shaewe indicated, still intently absorbing her words as she directed him with the best materials to start reading. He felt a little embarrassed at the pat on the knee, perhaps because it made him feel just a little younger than he really was, though he supposed that was no fault of his own; being shorter than most kids tended to give that impression. He should just be grateful for the attention.
When Doctor Shaewe finished her instruction, he nodded with a smile, hopping off the chair.*
Yes, ma'am!
*He headed toward the side room and stepped inside, looking around briefly. Turning at the waist, he wondered if he should close the door or leave it open. Maybe what the two women had to talk about was important and private... best not to eavesdrop, even if he was a little curious, so he quietly shut the door behind him, climbed up onto the chair, opened his reading materials on his datapad, and began to read.*

Chuckling softly, Jena watched Jake hop off the chair and head into the other room. When he closed the door behind him, she turned to the S'kytri woman with a slight smile."Now....let's begin again, starting with your name and how you know my son, Aaron....well I guess you know him as Daedelus." While Jena waited for the woman to gather her thoughts and answer, a page came over the hospitals intercom system.Clenching her jaw at the timing of the emergency call, Jena sighed while rubbing her forehead with a hand. Taking her comlink out of her lab coat pocket, she quickly let the ER know she was on her way. Already deciding that this would be a good way for Jake to observe how things were handled in an emergency room, she called out to him."Jake? I was just called to the ER. If you want to tag along then come on. If not, then you can stay here and study."Not waiting for Jakes reply she turned on her heel and walked to the office door. Pausing a moment, she briefly met the S'kytri womans gaze. "We will continue this conversation when I'm done in the emergency room. You may wait here if you want to, or you can follow along and watch the happenings in the ER from the observation rooms above the ER."Flashing a quick smile, she turned on her heel, presumably with Jake and the S'kytri woman following somewhere behind her if they didn't hose to stay in her office, and walked briskly out of the office and over to the turbolift that would take her to the ER and her waiting patient. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------OOC info: RP continued HERE....

*Jake hadn't been in the room studying long, though he had immediately jumped into the basics of first aid. Some of this info was fairly common knowledge and he was aware of, which wasn't too surprising since it was just the basics, but there were still some helpful tidbits he hadn't been aware of, and immediately started to make a few notes of this, intrigued at how much he was already learning. However, it had barely been a couple of minutes when Doctor Shaewe came to check up on him, and also announce that she had been called to the ER; he was given the option to accompany her or remain here, studying. Studying he could do anytime, but already a chance at observing a patient up close? He wasn't going to pass that up!*
Okay! I'll come along!
*... it occurred to him that perhaps he shouldn't sound too excited, especially since an ER call meant someone was in great need of aid, perhaps life-threatening even. He grimaced and blushed, stammering as he collected his things.*
S-sorry, I know it's bad, I hope they'll be okay...
*After collecting his things, he tagged along with Doctor Shaewe, still undeniably excited at the prospect of seeing healing at work, but also with concern for whomever the patient may be.*

Well.. We me--
*She stopped as the woman across from hers pager went off, and the subsequent relaying that she was being called into ER. She was not very familiar with every term people used, being one that preferred nature to cities and civilization. She liked isolation. She did however notice the expression and body language and the tone of voice to understand that it was important. She nods quietly to the woman and rises after her.*
Well, sitting here alone would be quiet and feel awkward, I shall observe.
*She turned on her heel, and her wings ruffled a little and settled again, she didn't have room to properly stretch them in here so she would endure that as she followed the doctor.*

*Once more, here he was at the Red Dawn Medical Center, learning from the best medics in the galaxy; Force-using or otherwise. Jake was certain at this point that this would be an area he excelled in. It was quite an interesting field, and, while he liked to think he was decent at combat, he certainly wasn't cut out to be a fighter. Plus, being a healer was a handy skill in general, and could very well save a life someday.
He also enjoyed the company of the doctors present at the RDMC; they were all accommodating, helpful, and kind people. It also helped that many of them were women, pretty ones at that... A thought he couldn't help but let slip into his brain every day, and each time he still felt embarrassed that his mind went there instead of on his studies. Not that he was having trouble keeping up, but all the same, he wanted to keep as focused as possible.
Which was why he found himself at Doctor Shaewe's office, looking for his next duty. He waited at the door until he was allowed in, then he slipped in with a smile, closing the door behind him. He stood before her, wearing a set of scrubs issued to him from the office and a smile, a datapad held before him within folded hands.* "Hi Doctor Shaewe! I was just wondering if there was something else I could be doing right now?" *he asked with clear eagerness.*

Chloe and Tara made their way along the corridor outside of Dr. Shaewe's office, the younger girl feeling a little anxious as her older sister strode beside her with a smile, looking like she didn't have a care in the world. It was quite apparently her older sister was proud of her, and it made sense since Tara was not only the third of the sisters to join the noble Nurse Corp of the RDMC, but also because Chloe had been like a mother to her. None of them knew their real parents, and with Sarah galanting about with the libido of.... well she wasn't exactly quite sure there existed any comparison in the known galaxy, but suffice to say, Chloe had taken to the role well, making sure to keep Sarah in check as much as posible, whilst raising Tara as her own daughter.
Chloe had raised her well, all things considered, managing to never be overbearing, and yet never absent from her life, somehow balancing the strict with the lenient attitude that she needed. It had paid off well, with Tara having grown up, and still growing up, into a fine young lady, and if all went well, would not turn out anything like her eldest sister. The pair stopped outside of the office door, before Chloe moved opposite her ytounger sister and squatted down, gripping her sisters shoulders reassuringly, a smile still glowing across her face. Tara was starting to feel a little nervous, now that she would be away from Chloe, but her sister knew how to calm her down, before she spoke "Hey, kiddo, you'll do awesome today!" With that, Chloe tapped her younger sister on the tip of the nose, causing an inadvertent smile to cross Tara's lips "Trust me, it's in your blood. You might even make a new friend..." Chloe slyly winked at Tara before rising to her full height, her hand lingering upon Tara's shoulder as she turned and moved to the door, her older sister's hand falling limp off it, as Tara pushed open the door and slipped inside, clad in her own set of blue scrubs, and stood beside Jake, glancing at the boy from the corner of her eye "Nurse Tara, reporting for duty"

Jena was sitting at her desk going over some medical files when young Jake Calmcacil entered her office and announce himself. Looking away from the holoscreen, she smiled brightly at the boy who was dressed in a set of child sized scrubs and looking adorable. Before she could greet Jake, another child also dressed in a set of scrubs, walked in and announced herself. Tara, younger sister to Nurse Sarah, wasn't much older than Jake, maybe a couple of years, and just as eager to learn. This made Jena happy to be one of the people teaching them both. They hadn't been introduced to each other as of yet, but that was mainly because Tara was fairly new edition to the RDMC family, so Jena smiled warmly at both of them, noting Tara's side glance at Jake, and motioned for them to have a seat.
"Jake Calmcacil, this is Tara Roseheart. Tara, Jake....and over there by the door is Chloe, Tara's sister and newly minted registered nurse." Jena grinned at Chloe standing just outside of the office door, waving her in if she wished to join them.
Standing up from the desk, Jena then walked around to the front of it and and stood, folding her arms across her chest while she continued to speak. "I thought it would be a good idea if you two worked together a little bit since you both are at about the same level of learning, and both doing well I might add. Also, Dr. Mercotti, Dr. Ramaela, and I have been discussing taking you both on a tour of the cloning laboratory to get a feel for how things work there. This won't be on any of your tests, it'll be more like a field trip of sorts for you two....unless, of course, either of you decide to go into that field of expertise later on when you're a little older. So what do you think? Wanna go see how the RDMC cloning labs work?" She arched an eyebrow as she asked them with an encouraging grin.

*Someone else had entered the office behind Jake, which wasn't itself surprising; what was surprising was that she was a young girl, referring to herself as "Nurse Tara." She couldn't have been that much older than Jake... looked it, certainly. Darn his small height... Morgan seemed to be fond of it, but being mistaken for a small kid could be embarrassing sometimes.
Doctor Shaewe introduced the two, as well as the woman Jake hadn't noticed by the door. Jake turned to regard the latter with a kind smile, before looking at Tara. She was a little pretty, he guessed— Focus! Hadn't he just chided himself about being distracted by looks? He shook his head and stammered that away before grinning again and offering his hand to her.* "Nice to meet you!"
*His attention returned to Doctor Shaewe when she proposed a "field trip" to the cloning labs to see how they worked. Cloning... a subject close to Jake. Somewhat. Part of his extended family was comprised of clones. And seeing the process up close... He was certainly interested. Nodding, he responded,* "Sure! Some of my family's made of clones, so that would be cool."

Chloe gave a wave to both Jena and Jake, before taking her leave, having other duties to get back to, quite certain her younger sister was in safe hands now for the day. Tara nodded and shook Jakes hand in return, a small smile crossing her own lips "Nice to meet you as well..." She managed to play it cool, before she turned back to face Dr Shaewe as she suggested a field trip of sorts to the cloning labs. On the upside, it wouldn't be on the immediate test, which meant they could actually take some time to really explore and enjoy the place, and they were bound to go there eventually, and now seemed as good a time as any "I'm totally up for it! Sounds like it could be fun!"

Jena waited for Jake and Tara to greet each other before having her curiosity piqued when Jake mentioned that some of his family members were clones, but remained silent on that matter for the moment. Instead she looked at both of them with an arched eyebrow and a small grin."Well okay then. Now that we're all acquainted, we can head down to the cloning labs where Dr. Ramaela is expecting us. And Jake, maybe you can tell us a little about your family members when we get there?"She asked with warm smile as she ushered them out the door toward the turbolift at the end of the hallway. Once inside the lift, they were off to the cloning labs to meet with Lyssa and see the possible wonders that awaited them in the cloning wing.
