Tyan physically relaxed from her touch.
Her presence raidiated calm, peacefulness, and as she had confirmed she was real, this was real, and he was safe. Comforted by her words, her touch and the odd radiance she seemed to eminate Tyan seemed to be able to draw focus.
He turned to look her in the eyes.
"I was walking, from the city, out to the forrest. Then I only remember an explosion, heat, being hit............peppered by debris, I guess from the blast. I don't know how far away I was from the epicenter, but I guess by the sheer fact I survived I must have not been close to the blast center. The last image I remember before I lost conciousness was a figure. A blurred shadow, humanoid is all I can tell you, who they were and what their purpose, I, I don't know. Next thing I remember, is, is you."
Tyan stopped and turned away slighlty embarassed by this. Yet it was true, her's was the first face he had seen, and it was clear she was now not a form of angel. However there was something that seemed; at least to Tyan, Suppernatural, an air of mystery surrounding her.

Tyan vaguely remembered rising from a pool, the shifting array of light and blurred images gradually began to shift focus as he felt himself being lowered into soft surroundings of a welcoming bed. He blinked, which hurt, as his eyes drew focus he saw her, the same angelic face hovering at the foot of the bed. Was he alive? He couldn't tell. It all seemed real, but then so had what he had experienced before....
Yet what told him that this existence now was indeed a reality was that he could recall his dream, that almost wasn't a dream, he could feel it like a dull ache, just as so too he could feel the stream that he knew to be the force burbling away, only it seemed dulled and far away. He could hear it, but no longer see it or feel it. Memories, but the angel, she was.....
She was here? How? He didn't understand and as several expresions of puzzlement, confusion crossed his face he saw her smile wryly, knowingly. Her soft lilting voice floated across to him.
Wincing slightly as pain shot through his arm and shoulder as he raised himself tenderly to look at her more clearly. Then in a raspy voice made so by days of un-use Tyan spoke.
"You, you are here? This, this is real."
It was only a half question, more a manner of Tyan trying to understand all he had experienced, then she spoke again, once more talking of the force, and it's need, so the choice, had it really been his, had he really made it. Tyan had felt so alive in that place and yet he had struggled to get here, where ever here was, her comment at least made it clear he was in a real space in the real world.
He lay back down trying to figure it all out his brow furrowed.
Then other memories surfaced, as though released from a bubble inside his mind; a building..........trees.............an explosion......................he was flying.................then darkness..........................just as he remembered his eyes closing a figure stood over him............
Tyan's eyes flung open and he reached out to grab the figure and winced once more as he jerked his newly reapaired, but still recvering limbs. He hadn't even been aware he had closed his eyes, he looked around furtively but only bleeping machines, the gentle glowing amber lights of a medical droid's photoreceptors and a slightly concerned, yet interested angel-woman watched him.

The Jedi healer returned her warm smile and patted her arm, he nodded.
"I am glad I could be of help, but I think you will find it was your skill more than anything that has turned the tide."
He nodded in the direction of the boy.
As the hustle and bustle began of moving the now more stable patient the Arkanian saw the boy transferred and then quietly slipped away, there was nothing else he could do, he did however make a vow to return and check up on the youth.
Once Tyan was transferred the droids set about getting him ready for the bacta tank, attatching the rebreathing apparatus and donning him in suitable attire to expose as much of his still mending flesh as were possible whilst naturally maintaining the young man's modesty. Tyan was then secured and hoisted up and into the bacta tank, the tank was sealed and the apparatus tested before the chamber began to fill with a blue viscous liquid that crept up over his form until he was completely encompassed by the healing liquid.
He sat once more by the stream and wondered for a moment how he had come to be here, then he remembered, only now he had returned he felt a drawing sense of purpose. Depsite the lack of the guiding angelic face he still felt calm and tranquil, he looked down and found his feet standing ankle deep in the stream. He wriggled his toes and laughed as the water swam between his bare toes. He smiled and sighed and then looked along the stream to his left, it was now overhung, overgrown and the way clouded by branches, trunks and folliage, to his right, the stream could be seen its clear clean water trickling beyond sight. He turned left he turned right. He felt he had a decision to make about which way to go. He took a step forward and the water grew colder, he intook a sharp breath and stepped back into the warmer waters. The path ahead was good, it was clear, it was easier.....
He stopped and thought, maybe that was the point, perhaps this was the choice, he wasn't entirely sure what the choice fully meant, he did not feel walking the clear path was wrong, but he didn't want to go that way. He stepped the other way and the water grew warmer, he flinched as the now hot water was rather uncomfortable; cold and clear or hot and tangled. If only the angel would appear, no something told him she would not and even if she could, this was not a choice she could make.
He tried to remove his feet but they would not budge, forwards or backwards seemed his only choice, despite there being no real forward or backward except in his mind. He took another step toward the busy and tangled folliage ahead, his feet seemed to have become acclimatised more to the waters warmth now. He was here in this place......
He stopped mid thought, that was it, his body, his body was still very much in the real world, so this stream somehow, although he didn't understand it was attached to him, it ran too him and form him. One way Tyan assumed would move his subconcious self back to the mortal plain, the other way would unite him with what........he didn't know.............the force. So what was the choice, the cool, calm and clear path to the force or the tangled, hot messy path back to what was life.
What ever this place was, his subcncious he guessed he saw how it's designs reflected life, life was a struggle, sometimes you have to fight, the quesiton was, did Tyan want to fight..............he paused for moments, hours, days, hard to tell, time here had no measure. Then he moved and proceeded along the path, he battled through the folliage, he got knocked down, knocked back, scraped, he even fell into the water and was sure he would drown, but he carried on, relentless in his pursuit, and then, and then it was gone. There were no holding branches or ensaring creepers, just light, welcoming light and it beckoned him.
The monitor assigne dto tracking Tyan's vitals began to bleep drawing the attention of the monitoring droid, the dorid turned and tottered over to a sleeping form, Awen had curcled herself up rathe rungaingly on a couch, several days had passed, but she had not left, she had barely eaten or drank and following her words the droid gently shook her arm.
"Mistress Awen, Mistress Awen, the boy, Tyan, he's, he's awake."

Noting her silent form, her shallow breathing the Arkanian moved away from the boy, for with the bandaging well under way there was nothing more he could do, he moved himself and supported the half Bothan planting his hands on her shoulder to steady her along with the trooper, he felt rather useless but he couldn't ignore the need to feel useful.
Tyen Dreamed, a floating face, it was a kindly face, he thought it an angel as her delicate features seemed almost moonlike, he didn't recall angels having horns, but then again he had never met one. The face floated before him, and she spoke softly to him and he knew the words she spoke were truth, she spoke of rest and the force and he felt her guide him, she showed him a path, a path that parted between trees, and he followed her floating face down that path to sit beside a tranquil stream that flowed out of site. He dipped his hand into the stream and felt a warmth flood through him and wash over him. His mind journeyed he seemed to become more aware of his body and his form than he ever had before. He was witness to the injuries, yet safe from harm, he wasn't sure how, but he understood he wwas hurt, yet safe, he could see how the energies that moved through him, this force was knitting bone and muscle and was providing a safehouse for his semi concious mind. Rather then feeling perturbed or distressed by his physical current state he felt reassured, the angelic face had somehow helped him. He was aware of much more than before, his body had been broken and was now on its way to being healed, but the true marvel was that his mind had been oppened to a much wider world.
He remained by the stream, but began to feel a change, a tug, he turned and began to follow the stream toward a growing light, a warm light, a welcoming light....
Tyen emitted a large gasp as though drawing breath after being under water for a very long time, slowly pain hit his eyes as they adjusted to the soft light of the medical room, the first light he had seen for he didn't know how long and it took a moment for his eyes to become acustomed and the fuzzy shapes around him to grow in clarity. He made out a few fuzzy shapes at the bottom of the bed before a mechanical arm injected him with something and a natural sleep took him.

The two minds briefly joined together to help speed up the process of mending the boys broken body, Arkanian hummed a soft tune that oddly was backed by the beating in time of the drumming hoof beats. She was more than adept at healing than he, he withdrew to the more menial tasks, although no task was menial when a life was at stake. He opened his eyes once having fixed the broken leg and ensured tendons albeit sprained and no doubt would be sore were not torn.
He nodded his thanks in return and also in reply to her comment.
"Yes, I wonder now why he hasn't popped up on our radar before now."
The Arkanian smiled referring naturally to the boys latent force potential, no doubt his force adept medical colleague had sense it too. He too then began to busy himself with scalpel removing torn clothing on the leg, noting the boiled flesh and the yellow plasma that had flooded to the surface, the bodies attempt to heal the damage, believing that although his skills adequet he decided to leave the leg to her superior talents and moved instead, once clothing removed to the less threatening shards of material lodged in the shoulder and face.
He stretched out with the force using its sense like a medical scanner detecting the pieces of shrapnel and where they had embedded, even the tiniest fragment could lead to a later infection, thankfully none of the pieces had ruptured or were in danger of rupturing any major vessel although some attention would have to be given to the boys shoulder, likely months of physio for here several pieces had shorn the tendons and muscles so that they resembled something more along the lines of a sieve. He gently set to work using the force and scalpel to release the longer more threatening shards, dropping the metal into a bowl, no doubt it could analysed for cluses may point at the device used. He worked tirelessly as Awen began to work more closely on the charred arm, worse than the leg but in the capable hands of them both the boy might only be left with some scarring.
He stemmed the blood using the force from a deeper gash and then heating up the scalpel sealed the wound clean binding tissue and encouring it to knit. Once all shards had been removed and the face and shoulder clean of debris he set aside his scalpel and once more quietened his mind.
Again her skills would do the job faster, but she was busying herself mending the arm, which was in a bad way, he focussed the force inward into the sinew and muscle of the ruined shoulder, joining slowly what was broken, exciting muscle growth and aiding the bodies own healing factor. His focus was absolute and one could have heard a pin drop as [/spanthe two worked on in silence.

The doors once again sprang open and in walked, or rather it might appear he floated, a man, serene, graceful with flowing white hair, pointed ears and long fingered hands, he wore simple cotton robes traditionally worn by the jedi, he briefly regarded the scene and Awen standing over the boy, he chatted briefly with the chief medical droid ensuring the boy was stable and that his further care and weeks spent in bacta after treatment. He crossed the floor and stood next to Awen without turning to her he too spread his hands out over the body of the boy.
"What is your analysis?"
Very much in the manner of which he walked his speech too glided, it was gentle, slightly lilting and carried a lightnesss, yet clarity.
As the Arkanian spread his hands anyone in the vacinity with the slightest trace of force sensitivity would feel a draw of power a calling and pulling on the force as the experienced Jedi healer began to weave and knit bone and tissue back as it should. The boy would not be fully healed for only time could do that, furthermore in Falsaffa's experience it was best to help the body only so much, mend the worst, stem the bleading and working in tandem with the droids begin to heal the more superficial injuries.
As Falsaffa directed the energies of the force, the bones of the ribs began to move and allign as they should, he waited patiently for Awen to answer and furhtermore for her help and expertise, trained medical professional as she was, notable by the coat she donned and the medical instruments sticking out of her pocket.

The door swished open and in flew a four strong ground team carrying a make-shift gurney with a virtually lifeless body of a young man atop it. One of the gorund crew spoke up.
"Commander Lucien ordered us to bring the boy here, he was found in the forrest area we believe, he is in a bad way."
It didn't take much for a medical team largely comprised of droids to soon be ferreting around the gurney, the ground crew were informed the boy was in capable hands, one droid muttered that a moment longer and the prognosis, as the droid put it, would have been dire. The medical team had soon assembled and began busying aorund the young man who had now been transferred to a bed, various wires, drips and fluids all being fed into him, a call had gone out for a senior Doctor, sergeon or physicican. An expert would be needed to give Tyen the best chance of a full recovery. In the meantime the medical team noted down the assesment; multiple fractures to ribs and sternum, second degree burns to left hand and forearm, shrapnel imbeded in cranium, chest, and right shoulder, right lung is punctured, right leg shattered tibia, Second degree burns to abdomen and left leg.

Hanging over the jaws of death much that happened was a haze, voices that seemed far away from Tyen, fading light....
The trooper assisted the ground crew nodded curtley to his Commander and knowing there was little else he could do for the youth turned to take his leave to make a full report, he watched the gurney and the limp body of the young man atop it travel swiftly from view, saluting Lucian he turned and made his way toward the debriefing room.
Meanwhile the fresh legs of the four storng ground crew; used to making quick sprints wheeling tools, hoses and fuel out to vessels that needed a quick turn around carried the boy to the medical wing.

One of the smaller doors to the side of the cavernous doors that allow vessels in and out of the hangar bay opens and a trooper marked as one of Altair's troopers enters the Hangar bay laboring over dragging a smaller human body in his wake, the form of the youth is blackened and his clothing virtually blasted away, his skin what can be vissibly seen looks tattered with shards of shrapnel and debris emitting from his flesh at ugly angles. a trail of blood streaks across the floor from where the boy had been dragged in. The trooper stops and through ragged drawing breaths calls.
"I need a meddic, a gurney, an explosion downtown, we managed to salvage this one from the rubble, he's not long left for this world unless we step on it, but he might just have chance!"
