You get a faster Internet speed. It is so fast, in fact, that the government investigates. Unable to determine the source of the speed, you are arrested on false charges and spend the rest of what will be a short and miserable life being alternatively interrogated and experimented upon.
I wish I had a chainsaw handy so I could chop my left leg off at the knee.

Congratulations! You are given said chainsaw, and quickly amputate your leg at the knee....but it grows back. So you try again, and again, and again, and again, and again. You soon realize that while your leg is the same size it normally would be, you yourself are shrinking, as your regrowing limb takes matter from the rest of your body to rebuild itself. You believe this is only a side effect of the alcohol and continue chopping away until you turn into nothingness.....except your left leg.

You have a potato. However, Devlin's stegosaurus (just to ensure that no wish goes uncorrupted) has the mind of a violent psychopath when dealing with anyone that isn't him, and is obsessively possessive of him. The result is when any other human being tries to get close to him, it goes on a violent rampage and bludgeons dozens, if not hundreds, of people to death, leaving Devlin guilt ridden and very, very lonely. One day, one of these rampages occurs right outside of your kitchen window. Watching it with all the fascination and intrigue of a true scientist with true scientific curiosity, you don't pay attention to what you are doing. Your potato is now burnt.

You wish upon a star. For some reason, you get it into your head that this requires physical contact. It takes you 19,000 years to get to the star you wish to wish upon - Proxima Centuri. And then you go outside and touch it.
I don't think I need to explain why this is a bad idea.
I wish that this year's series of Doctor Who didn't feel quite as lacklustre...

Granted but to bad for us the special with David in it sucks instead of this one thus ruining the Doctor for me forever.
I assume this is in regard to the special scene for Doctor Who, if so it is not utter crap in fact it is the best part of the whole thing and the special itself sucks balls.

Sadness is now weaponized, however it leaks into the blackmarket where it is bought up by every criminal organization who then makes everyone sad. This mass sadness makes everyone drink the punch

And just like that, pow: Such an idea exists! Unfortunately, you didn't think of it. In bitterness, you are reluctant to join in, though you do eventually - only to manage to get all of your characters killed in the opening chapters. You're reduced to watching from the side-lines for the rest of the event.

You find the words... however the words end up being an anagram for the Doctor's name... so every Doctor who fan on this site hunts you down and surgically removes you vocal chords if you try
