Essentially that's what I am hoping to emulate, will be posting something to the Jedi to see if they are cool I role with the idea, if not then the group will be more vigilante style. I was starting with this character being a smuggler and the Antarian Rangers, the remnants of, tracking him and coercing him I am cool with anyone wanting to jump in on this and write an already existing Antarian Rager as a member of the faction or will jump in at a later date, if no takers then I will NPC the group and the training.

I was totally going to invite you to the Empire side of things but having actually read the article I do not think that will vibe well. Still best of luck to you and hopefully those nasty Jedi people dont spurn you.

The AR sounds very similar to the paramilitary organization I'm trying to kick up. Though our focus is serving any oppressed individual/people/etc that we either find or who contact us, rather than serving specifically the Jedi Order.
However, despite the personal conflict going on with my PC at the moment, we do readily recognize the Jedi as a more positive force in the Galaxy than the Sith, for example.
If you're interested in working these two organizations together at some point, let me know, perhaps we could bounce ideas off one another.

Sounds okay to me. A little more independence from the Jedi might be a good thing, besides the group could well become disaffected with the Jedi and so go more there own way. For now I will follow the AR to its roots and see where it goes.

Well, to start with, there is soon going to be an assault on Ossus. There won't be much full on warning, but it would also be a very logical target for anyone tactically minded - close-ish to Yavin, very close to two or three other key Jedi worlds, a perfect gateway to them, and close to a major, core-bound trade route as well.
So... if you wanted to hit the ground running, how about having a small group of Rangers arrive at Ossus, offering to become... I dunno... a resident garrison? Aware that Ossus may well end up a target soon, and they're here to aid the Jedi in it's defence? Could be a nice way to leap straight in and get some good momentum going, and Ossus would benefit from the extra RP support, OOC wise.
Though, if you know anyone who writes or would be interested in writing a Mandalorian, the Mandos could also use a little help on the other side of the fighting, too.

Excellent. I will do just that and head on over to Ossus with my small group, My actual character as of yet is not an Antarian Ranger but I am writing out how he becomes one. Will get on with creating the key members. Thanks for your help.

Sorry mate been away for a bit, back now and on it like a bonnet posting in Ossus orbit with some of my NPC Rangers. My main is on Coruscant and is yet to be enlisted.
