Buzzing back a quick acknowledgment, Fyyar took the usual route. Ordinarily, he would have simply punched a button on the ship's navicomputer and let the machines do the thinking. But that had been seven years ago, on a ship he personally owned, modified, and coded. The freighter he found himself at the helm of was only one of the three.
Besides, autopilot was dreadfully boring.
Inverting his craft, Fyyar angled downward and slammed the thrusters to full, throwing caution to the wind and making an approach that would have come close to blacking any ordinary Human out even with the inertial dampeners on.

...aboard the 'Shakey.'
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pyro ran. He moved softly, and swiftly for a man of his size. It was a big ship, but not big enough to contain the fact that Pyro hated space travel. He was still a poor kid from B-410. Movin' amongst the stars never sat right with him. And so he ran laps of the ships' halls and prepped for the debrief once they were planetside. He was a good soldier. Followed orders. Strong moral compass. And he had a great team. That helped. For this hop, it had just been he and Kardel, which suited him just fine. She gave the orders, and he was happy to oblige. Quick recce of a soft target on Dantooine, hadn't taken any time, and nobody had to get dead. That made Eryn happy, which made him happy.
Life was simpler when your Lt. was happy.
Pyro stopped moving for a minute, a sheen of sweat on his naked upper torso. He could run a lap in just under thirty seconds, but he was really just jogging. He took a few deep breaths, and made for the bridge, passing Kardel at her workstation and clapping a big hand on her shoulder. Almost there, ell-tee.
Stepping quickly and silently onto the flight deck (he did love to mess with their flight crew, Mirian and Jorek) he caught the last of their discussion before piping up
...you need breathing space -- from us, Mirian? But I thought you loved diving planetside amid a hail of gunfire with us grunts? You hurt me, Santiro. You hurt me right here. pointing to his heart And to think, I was going to ask you to dinner. You too, Jorek. a wink
A light flashed on the console, and Jorek furrowed his brow. Incoming transmission. Looking to Pyro, he gave a quizzical shrug, and Pyro nodded. The pilot flicked the switch, and the transmission came over the cockpit speakers.
Transport 'Shakey,' this is Falleen Security command. You have been authorized to break course and proceed immediately to Installation Alpha-six-six, at these coordinates. Top priority. Assume hostile. Details and orders to follow. Out.
Jorek tried to ask for clarification, but the line was dead. Nobody there. Pyro knew better than to ask questions of Command.
Where is it, Mirian?
The course plot popped up on holo -- maybe a ten minute flight, maybe 1800 miles distant, in a wild, unpopulated region of Falleen jungle.
He looked briefly at Jorek.
Go. Make it quick.
Then he was gone from the flight deck, as fast as he had arrived, moving aft to find Kardel still at her datapad.
Ell-tee. We got new orders.... you're going to want to hear this.

"D'oh God!" Mirian slapped her chest and lurched forward in surprise when she heard a voice behind her. The voice of Pyro. Scowling, the young woman whipped her head about to look at Pyro and she retorted, "I would have been worried about hurting your feelings if I knew dinner wasn't going to look and taste like the stuff we put in the ship's fuel supply!"
Anything else she might have had to say was cut off by a message from Falleen Security command. Installation Alpha-six-six, and that wasn't on their usual route. Whatever bad feeling Mirian had earlier? It just got worse. Deviations from the norm was never a good thing. And something about assuming hostile? Poodoo.
Pyro was off. He knew what he needed to do, and so did Mirian and Jorek. She entered in the coordinates into the NavCom, and forwarded the data so that Soap and her partner could find an easy-to-follow path.
"Let's take her down." She said as she flicked on the switch for atmospheric entry shielding.

Then he was gone from the flight deck, as fast as he had arrived, moving aft to find Kardel still at her datapad. Ell-tee. We got new orders.... you're going to want to hear this. Every time! Every damn time she tried carefully fishing for more information on the bit of knowledge that had been plaguing her mind the past few months, something or someone interrupted her. "Don't tell me: we're changing course, again." Jaw set in irritation (not at Pyro), Kardel quickly closed the collection of files and service records she'd pulled up on her datapad and stood to face Pyro, cringing just a little at all the injection sites and cybernetic implants his lack of shirt exposed . "Cover that shit up, soldier," she said perhaps a bit too harshly, eyes hard as she bent her head upwards to meet his gaze. "Command give any details yet?"

It was not long after that a solitary black speck appeared in the sky above Falleen, though the only indication of its presence was the transponder signal it was broadcasting. A single message was sent, alerting planetary control of its intent and destination, then both the comm and the transponder cut out and the small blip disappeared as it streaked closer to the planet.

No words needed in reply -- Pyro was already donning the breastplate of his armor. He knew how she felt about the conversion, though not really the specifics. slapping a fresh drum of ammo into the BB-23 and cycling the first round, he answered what he knew of her questions.
New destination planetside: gridsquare Alpha-six-six. Apparently some installation. Looks like dense jungle to me. Only details were 'assume hostile.' Details to come. Don't like the smell of this. If it looks like shit, and smells like shit, I'll bet it tastes like shit too.
They had done this so many times, even though they weren't fresh from base with a full load-out, they were still a formidable force. The familiarity of gearing up, helping each-other kit themselves out, was exhilarating, comforting. She sent a coded message to Command asking for further details, triple-checked her comms and pack. It was her way. He loaded fresh clips into her rifle and sidearms, made sure more were within easy reach. It was his way. He clamped on gauntlets and thigh armor, she smeared camo face paint on her face and held the tin out to him. It was all wordless, but the ritual was years in the making. Sliding the scatter-gun into its holster on his back, he locked and loaded, nodding to Eryn.
Headed back to the flight deck, he walked in to find Mirian and Jorek busy at the controls. He didn't attempt to keep silent on his approach this time. There was no time or need for it.
Standard approach three. Green light at plus-one click and 150 feet. Get the hell out of here after insertion. We'll call for pick up. In time for dinner.
He moved aft, checking straps and belts, making sure all gear was secure. When he arrived amidships, Eryn was just fastening the helmet to her suit in place.
Ready, ell-tee?
She nodded tersely. Red light. Pyro hit the release, and the port amidships hatch opened, immediately filling the cabin with a rush of wind. He smiled at her, pulling his gloves on.
Green light.
Pyro dove out the door, followed by Eryn in her wing-suit and jetpack. He wore no such devices, free-falling the dangerous LALO, 150' to the ground. The ground loomed, the mist and fog giving way to reveal a thick coverage of trees, rushing at him at terminal velocity. Twisting his body to navigate around the first several trees, he picked his target and submitted to the will of gravity. Catching the trunk of the juvenile coniferous forced the tree to bend under his weight and velocity, his grip tenacious enough to rend the wood from the trunk. And so on, and so on. Five trees later, he had slowed his descent to a point where he could drop the remaining thirty feet to the ground. Landing in a crouch, he unslung the BB-23 and listened for movement. The voice-activated comm unit on his throat passed on the sit-rep:
Touchdown. No movement. We're clear ell-tee.

The Sith Infiltrator jumped out of hyperspace. Yama at the controls aimed the ship through the appropriate lanes. Punching in a particular set of numbers those on the receiving end would recognize them as a high level clearance. This meant don't ask questions, don't make eye contact, and do what you're told if direct communication ever came up. One of the higher ups had hired them and that meant don't hinder the plans of one higher than you of face the consequences.
Truth be told Yama had done many jobs for political figures wishing to push their own agenda or for protection. After all who else would clean up their messes, and keep their secrets?
Truth be told this was exactly where Yama wanted to be, one of his former colleagues had called him informing him a certain government needed help getting some rogue soldiers under control by any means necessary. It was a fairly open and shut kinda job; the pay wasn't too bad either.
A real challenge is what Yama hoped for, a worthy sacrifice for his Gods.
So here Yama sat flying his ship planetside awaiting the ability to add a few more skulls to his collection.

A nondescript freighter flew away from the lush world below and zipped into hyperspace. But before it did, a burst of radiation that could easily be seen as the after-effect of a communication signal was readable by ATC scanners.

Rising up into orbit a ship quietly made the jump to hyperspace. Aboard Boland announced -Boland- "Top to bottom they say is the easiest route."

Exiting hyperspace, the Exar-Class Star Destroyer Starkiller, appeared over the lush world of Falleen. Behind the Star Destroyer, the Brotherhood and Executioner, a Vindicator-Class Heavy Cruiser and Kressh-Class Battlecruiser respectively, also appeared. Standing on the bridge of the Starkiller, Venom stood with his arms crossed. Rear Admiral Lee was already barking orders at this point. Noticing the Falleen orbital defenses ahead, Venom smirked.
"Move us up and engage the enemy, Admiral. Let's show them what the Sith can do!"
From his spot on the bridge, Lee replied.
"Mi'lord? We're severely out gunned. Falleen defenses possess superior numbers and firepower..."
Grinning, the Zabrak replied to the Admiral's concerns.
"I am well aware, Admiral. But I have a surprise waiting for us...now move us up and engage them!"
Lee visibly paled, but snapped to attention.
"Understood. All ships, ahead flank! Prioritize targets and fire at will!"
Without waiting to see what the Falleen defenses would do, a barrage of laser fire and proton torpedoes was fired upon the enemy ships...

High Orbit, Falleen, aboard the Kressh-class Battlecruiser: The Executioner.
As The Executioner exited hyperspace, both Valafar and Commodore Zeus look onward at the Falleen orbital defences. Valafar could only smile as he knew what his Clan brother would order the Rear Admiral to do, Commodore Zeus on the other hand looked nervous. It was almost like he wasn't expecting this many enemy ships, however after a brief moment he quickly composed himself and was ready for the onslaught ahead. Which happened just in time as the Rear Admiral gave the order to open fire at the enemy ships.
Alright men you heard the Admiral, Prioritize targets and fire at will. Launch all fighters, take no quarter and give none neither!
The Executioner moved in closer and began to fire it's weapons at the Fallen defences, while launching its fighters. Valafar grinned as he looked upon the barrage of laser fire and proton torpedoes that were being fired by the Brotherhood and Starkiller as well as The Executioner.

The defenses above Falleen had sat relatively idle for some time, at least until now. Three ships had exited hyperspace above the planet and wasted no time in launched a full offensive against them. As the barrage impacted with the ships, deflector shields were raised and a counter barrage was fired back. Most of the shots had been targeted to the Imperial II-Class Star Destroyer, but at least two of the Raiders had been hit as well. Maneuvering to a better position to counter attack, the Falleen vessels formed into an inverted "V", with the Raiders and Victory II's composing the arms and the Imperial II being the center point. Unleashing a barrage back at the enemy, the Falleen defenses began to fight back against the invaders. All the while, a message was relayed to the surface, alerting the King of the developing situation in orbit.

While the initial opening barrage was somewhat successful, it appeared as though the Falleen Navy were no slouches to this kind of combat. Taking the hits, raising deflector shields and re-positioning themselves so the could counterattack successfully, the Falleen ships wasted no time sending their response in kind. The Starkiller shuddered under the counter attack, but the shields held. A few klaxons sounded, but damage appeared to be at a minimum for the time being. Standing with his arms folded behind his back, Venom continued to watch the scene play out. Still at a severe disadvantage in terms of numbers and sheer firepower, the Zabrak Sith smirked.
"Admiral. Plot a course straight up the middle. Reinforce the shields and have both the Executioner and the Brotherhood follow us in. Tighten our formation and close ranks...tell the Executioner to belay launching fighters...this will require careful timing on our part.."
Lee merely stood there for a moment, processing. While he still didn't understand exactly what Venom was doing, he nodded, regained his composure and barked out his orders.
"Engines, steady course. All ahead flank. Tac, cut power to all non-essential systems and divert them to the deflectors. Comms, signal the others to do the same, and have the Executioner belay launching their fighters. Lord Wraak has a plan of some kind...I hope..."
The Admiral, while still unsure of Venom's plan, added that last comment in quietly. Clearly there was a plan, but he hadn't been made privy to it beforehand, which was irritating. But, as a good officer, he would carry out his orders to the letter.

As the Comms Officer aboard the Executioner relayed the order from the Admiral, Commodore Zeus nodded his head.
Alright you heard the Admiral, hold off on launching the fighters until we receive word from the Admiral.
The Bridge crew all relayed the new orders to the pilots in the hangar. The pilots groaned as they wanted to get right into combat with the enemy, but they followed the orders given to them. Their fighters were all prepped to be launched at any given notice. At on the Bridge the Commodore looked at Valafar for a brief moment before speaking.
My Lord, do you have any idea to what Lord Wraak has planned?
"I do not, Commodore. I do however trust in Lord Wraak's judgement and his experience. You'll trust his judgement and experience as well once we have taken this planet and destroyed the enemy fleet."
Of Course my lord, I meant no disrespect. I was only wondering if Lord Wraak had any type of plan or not.
"Knowing Lord Wraak, I'm sure that he has a plan that the enemy won't see coming."
The Execution moved in closer to Starkiller as per the Admiral and Lord Wraak's orders.

With precision and discipline, the inverted "V" formation of the fleet closed around the three enemy warships, firing relentlessly. Under sustained firepower such as this, the enemy ships would soon be reduced to floating debris. Not even realizing that this was part of the enemy's plan, to be surrounded, all Falleen ships continued to surround the enemy ships and fire upon them...

With a smirk, the Zabrak watched as the Falleen ships did exactly as he had anticipated. Rear Admiral Lee was less optimistic, doing damage control and ordering crewmen about, all while barely keeping his panicked demeanor at bay. Plucking the comm from his belt, Venom signaled both Captain Fontaine and Commander Keparr.
"Captain. Commander. Falleen forces have taken the bait. Proceed as planned."
Chuckling, Venom opened a channel with the Falleen forces present and his own ships as well.
You have been found worthy of destruction by the Blackguard! Now you will see why the Sith are not to be underestimated!
As he finished speaking, the Paarchero and the Lusinia exited hyperspace over the planet, on the port and starboard flanks of the Falleen ships. As both Imperious-Class Star Destroyers opened up on the Falleen ships, Venom looked to the Rear Admiral.
"Ahead flank! All forces prioritize targets and fire at will! Launch all fighters! Let's bring the Falleen to their knees!!"
As the Rear Admiral gave his orders, the Starkiller accelerated towards the enemy's Victory II-Class Star Destroyer...

You have been found worthy of destruction by the Blackguard! Now you will see why the Sith are not to be underestimated! It was at this moment that Captain Ziereal realized his mistake. As the comm rang through, the two enemy Imperious-Class Star Destroyers jumped in and unleashed hell on his ships. Knowing his duty was to his king and his people, he made a decision. One that was the most difficult of his career. This is Ziereal of the Xizor. All Falleen ships, fall back to rally point Zeta-Gamma. Repeat, all Falleen ships, fall back now!Despite his decorated service record and his skills to command the Falleen Navy, he was not about to throw the lives of his men and the remaining ships under his command, away just to try and stand against the Sith's onslaught. There would be a time and a place for revenge, but it wasn't now. Still sustaining heavy fire from all sides, the Falleen ships accelerated forward, moving past the Sith ships. Sustaining damage across all vessels, the ships prepared to jump to lightspeed once they were cleared from Falleen's gravity well and the enemy ships...

Valafar smiled at the destruction that was happening. The fighters aboard the Executioner were launched as well by his clan brother's command. Valafar looked over at the Commodore then spoke.
"Commodore, have a shuttle prepped and ready to launch by the time I reach the hangar."
Yes my lord, of course.
Valafar exited the bridge and made his way to the turbo lift that would take him down to the hangar. He continued to smile as he did so.
