Lakehouse - Kitchen
Nodding with a laugh as, looking down at her sketchpad to lightly add a few details to her slowly emerging sketch, Elikapeka agrees with Delaana's sentiments about one's ability to find enjoyment or fulfillment in their work being a highly coveted quality, "I really think so, yes. Looking up after completing her work on the details she had been attempting to capture on the page, Elika listens as Delaana speculates about some aspects of Elika's work that probably appeal greatly to her, confirming afterwards, Oh, absolutely. I mean, well, obviously most of my work comes from on-world, but the jobs that allow me to travel and to see other worlds, and get to meet other species and see their worlds and cultures, if only for a little while, are really some of the ones I tend to enjoy the most."
Dividing her attention between her sketching and watching Delaana as she speaks, Elika continues to make headway with her portrait while Delaana speaks about herself, and those things that drew her to her current position. Smiling warmly as Delaana reveals that that they would appear to share a love for learning about other cultures and individuals, as well as for travel, Elika says, "Well, I for one am very glad that you've found your way here, my Ceesi. And, for the record, I don't think that a tendency to sit back and observe is a bad habit at all. As someone who shares Delaana's tendency to observe others, Elika feels fairly confident as she suggests, You definitely learn more and miss less that way, right?"

*At the reassurance that her tan wouldn't be messed up—and could be easily fixed even if it did get messed up—Morgan giggled and shrugged her head.* "That's true. I kinda miss it..." *Realizing she sounded like she was referring to her jungle shenanigans, she giggled again and clarified,* "Felucia, I mean! But being anywhere else is nothing like being there..." *Suddenly becoming a little more solemn, she added,* "I feel weaker here..."
*That topic would seemingly be put to rest as Morgan listened to and looked around at the other speakers. They were talking about wardrobes, apparently; the outfits themselves, not the closet that held them. Oh boy... fashion stuff. Morgan laid her head back as she was about to tune the conversation out, seeing as she preferred simple outfits—or none, when she could get away with it—but the mention of "tearing clothes off" made her head shoot right back up, fully attentive again.
Where'd that come from?! Wait... they had also mentioned something about driving Ares crazy, and the wardrobe thing... Morgan's eyes widened with realization. Then she grinned to herself; so that was what this was about. And suddenly, before she could think twice, she quipped,* "Hey, I don't like clothes either, but I wouldn't tear them off!" *before giggling.
She then seemingly froze; maybe she shouldn't have tried to get involved in what was an adult conversation. Hopefully they took it well... but perhaps she should butt out afterward.*

Ryan had a knowing look upon hearing his very own brother's comment and he just glanced at Lily thoughtfully upon hearing her own comment, to the point that he even tilted his head on the side perplexedly and pursed his lips. "Either you love shopping that much or obviously I am not doing a great job in that department..." He said with a conspiring smirk, considering that Lily's wardrobe was still filled with many clothes, to the point that it was nearly overflowing, but then again that really wasn't his target to begin with.
Arching his eyebrow at the cousins right there, Ryan shook his head playfully before rolling his eyes. "Obviously, Alicat, you have driven him crazy to the point that you needed a new swimwear." Chuckling at winking at her before glancing at Ice with a knowing expression, Ryan shrugged nonchalantly before hearing Morgan's comment and doing a double take at her comment.
Crap, kids around! Ryan literally bit his lower lip at his thought and stifled a laughter from both his comment that was really non-PG to Morgan's very own comment which was hilarious really. "Sometimes that urge is just uncontrollable, Morgan, at least for them, or him." He could not help but to retort with a playful tone and remembered once again that she was young and her dad was there, along with her aunt and he just looked at the father with an apologetic expression before he was snapped out of it by Lily when she asked him to go get the brothers.
Ryan blinked a few times looking at her completely lost, because he was indeed completely lost; that thing, what thing? He thought to himself, when it came to Lily, it could mean a lot of things, especially that thing. "To what thing are you actually referring to? And shouldn't we, Crystal and I, be the ones grilling him instead of them?" As he said that, he noticed Atlantis passing him and returning towards the bar, Andros was still here, or there sitting on his lounge chair.
But still, he looked at his girlfriend dubiously and smirked knowingly before shrugging. "Not lost, just enjoying a shenanigans free moment..."

The real him... Actually, Franz was still trying to figure out why he let the real him be buried so deep, though in the corner of his mind, he knew that partial answer; there was several answer to that question and he just looked at Ayodele gratefully and he even inclined his head before taking a deep breath. "I'd like to find the real me once more too..." He solemnly said with a conflicted gaze, though a moment ago he was sure that perhaps he would have joined the festivities of the water war, but at the same time he was still here with her, and he barely knew her, though he did know more about her than the previous day. This was just an uncharted territory for him and his emotions and feelings were just crashing down with one another, just two opposite sides where one was telling him to shield himself so not to be disappointed and the other one just telling him to take that leap. Though at that Franz smiled faintly and briefly at her. "You can say that over the last few months, I know I have lost myself, and I am slowly coming back to that self imposed isolation, thanks to them and thanks to you." Franz had gestured towards the few people around the people before he had looked at Ayodele with a warm smile.
Franz was pensive once again upon hearing her first question, though grateful for that out if he so wished, he was thankful for that and he looked at her with a smile deciding to just take that leap and yes usually, at current time he would have a difficult time opening up especially what he had gone through in recent months, but there was just something about Ayodele that made him trust her... Which was why he just looked at her with a sheepish grin before chuckling briefly. "Currently, it's more about observing and quickly absorbing my environment in order to use that for my own benefit or others. Medicine tossed in between." He explained thoughtfully, perhaps it did not make much sense but he wasn't a Guardian or a Counsular, at least he never defined himself as such. "But if you had to describe what I do on a daily basis, you would put me in the Sentinel category. I was, am tasked to find the Force sensitives in this planet and see if they would fit in the Order we have here, but often times, I have never been the one to approach them because I wasn't comfortable, so you could say that besides what I am trying to learn currently, I am also trying to find myself once more in the way."
He was supposed to be the one to approach the others, but Atlantis and Mace gave him some leeway after what he had been through and then that trip he had a few weeks ago did not really help his self esteem, it shattered in a way his self confidence, but currently thanks to everyone he was gaining back what he thought had been lost before. "And please don't frown, ask me anything you want to ask me, and I will do my very best to give you an answer, though I am sure that at some point, I won't want to talk about it just yet, and I am sorry if that happens, but please just give me a little time?" Franz requested softly hoping that she would understand.

Crystal smiled warmly, glad to have an understanding with Serrin... After all, Crystal had never chosen to begin with this path of being a Force sensitive, though originally she had been one, her father had sealed off her abilities during her childhood because Virgil was apparently protecting her, from what? She still didn't know and it was one of the reasons why she had been trying to get in touch with her dad, albeit behind her brother's back, Ryan namely, due to the fact that between them, Crystal knew it was all just bad blood. She wondered what Ares' views were towards their father, though she had an idea, due to the first meet with them, but right now, his message to Ryan was still ringing to her mind, it sounded serious, from his tone, but insofar, he did not try to engage a conversation about that with her, and she just assumed that he was quite aware of that unspoken rule of the day. Her thoughts, though, were gnawing her and she didn't know how long she would be able to contain that can of worms especially when she noticed Ares stepping here outside and exchanging a few words with Ryan who were reiterated by both Alisha and Ice.
Thankfully though, her troubled mind came to a stop when she heard Morgan quipping and Ryan replying which caused Crystal to look at her younger brother with a jaded expression. "Preaching to the choir, Ryan, preaching to the choir, though please do put a lid on that, as being your girlfriend's friend, I am on the receiving end of her vents, fratellino." Winking at the pair right there by the barbecue, Crystal pursed her lips to prevent herself from laughing but that did not quite help especially when Atlantis joined them and Serrin teased him about his statement that she already found amusing.
Sighing playfully and looking at her boyfriend before glancing at Serrin, briefly looking up to confirm her statement. "You would think that a well respectable man like him who has received training and has been part of Coruscant Security wouldn't have any apprehension in that department and actually take it seriously, but like you have said, he just loves a beatdown by women he cares about in general and always loves being in trouble with them. So," Picking up her cocktail glass to take a sip of her drink, Crystal looked at Atlantis knowing before smiling. "Serrin, if you ever feel the need or want to use him as a dummy, please do it, or better yet just punch him by surprise, he'll even enjoy that." Looking at Serrin playfully before glancing at Atlantis with an amused expression, she rolled her eyes before shaking her head playfully exasperated.

Lakehouse - Kitchen
Leaning her chin against the palm of her hand, Lana listened attentively to what Elika was saying, in several way, she could relate to that, after all it was what she had been doing as well, no? On the surface yes, but the truth was a whole different matter. No one needed to know the real reasons why she kept changing location, but this one insofar proved to be a great one, for many reasons. "Plus, it also gives you some ideas on which world you would want to go to the next time you have some long time off, right?" Lana said playfully as she leaned back and glanced at the oven, seeing that soon she will have to add the finishing touches to her gratin, but she still had a few minutes to spare, which was why she returned her undivided attention onto the woman she currently was with.
"I am certainly glad as well to have landed here and find it very captivating in the long run." Lana teasingly said winking at Elika before nodding in agreement to the observation. "Which is what I aim for on a day to day basis, learn more." She concurred knowingly before grinning, and looking straight at Elika right now. "Though I have no apprehension either in getting to know a person just by talking to her." Smiling once more, Lana glanced back at the oven before lifting a finger in Elika's direction so that she could put the finishing touches on the dish over there.
Once that was done, she set the oven for another ten minutes before returning towards the kitchen island there but instead of sitting back down on her stool, Lana went to stand straight behind Elika and placed an arm around her waist before resting her chin on Elika's shoulder. "Do I get to know where you will be putting that portrait of mine?" Lana asked playfully with a knowing smile as she tilted her head on the side to peck Elika's cheek. "You do know you are cheating right? I will need a souvenir of this day from you as well." She was just teasing Elika but Lana supposed that considering where they both were now currently, it wasn't that big of a deal asking for that kind of thing, right?

Andros nodded to confirm that he was very sure about the datapad, it wasn't a difficult choice at all considering that it was Atlantis and that was all that mattered to him. He could keep the datapad, and notify him about those things whenever but currently he was more focused on what Atlantis was saying, on the real reasons why his brother wasn't going forward with what he had been thinking about every day. Andros supposed that those reasons were valid but still, the fact that those kind of things were stopping him from going forward... Andros nodded and did not try to make Atlantis change his mind, he guessed that whenever he was ready he would do it.
"Quid pro quo? Now who is talking like a politician." Andros looked at his brother meaningfully before smirking and blinking once, perhaps he'd make that happen, but one thing for another, Andros supposed that it was his turn to extend the same courtesy. Here went nothing... Andros stood up from his lounge seat and headed straight towards the bar to grab a bottle of beer, he could not help but to listen at the ongoing conversation, and he even looked at Morgan with an amused, but faint, grin before looking upwards and shaking his head. "I knew I had forgotten something..." Andros began to say before taking a chug of his beer. "The amount of debaucheries occurring in this space, is unimaginable..." Chuckling at the thought, he had heard all of the stories, he knew about some or a few things and he even looked at the attorney with a knowing expression.
"Therefore," Andros turned his attention straight to Morgan with that wry grin of his before adding on. "I would say that you have come to find yourself in the perfect place, though I certainly have no idea how your father and aunt would react if you were ever dragged by one of the women here." Although it wasn't all of the women of course, he was more referring to Lily which was why he was looking at her with a cynical smirk. "And here I thought I was the bad example..."

Ares couldn't help but to notice that Isis was looking at a particular someone, and that someone was Andros. It made him look at her dubiously, but still he kept an impassive expression, though he had noticed that she seemed to have skipped a beat or something, not that he would ever say anything about it, since that wasn't his concern so to speak. No, right now he was more focusing onto the ongoing conversation between his brother, the cousins here and even Andros seemed to have joined that conversation along with Morgan. Ares looked at the young girl and smirked wanting to laugh, to be perfectly honest but he knew that she was still a young girl and that conversation that had sprung up was just one she really shouldn't be hearing at all.
Hearing his fiancée's explanation, he looked at her playfully before shaking his head with an amused expression. "Oh I think she definitely saw something, or at least is feeling something, amore." Ares murmured softly before glancing back at Isis with a knowing expression this time and just when he had taken his swimsuit from his bag, he felt Ali's wandering hand and he just looked at her suspiciously, playfully. "Don't start, amore, you already do know you drive me crazy, and you have just admitted you wouldn't stop." Ares said as he took her hand and kissed her knuckles while paying close attention to what Andros in particular was saying.
The lakehouse was the place of debaucheries? No freaking wonder and Ares actually knew all too well who Andros was referring to. "If there is one thing that I have come to know in a short amount of time, Andros, I do believe that this space," Ares gestured around, making a circular pattern with the palm of him indicating the lakehouse in general. "Is governed entirely by your government officials and your architect inside, though I am very certain that it is often the Attorney General pulling some strings, no?" Ares smirked looking at Lily briefly since she had been the one that had dragged him and Ali there, she had been the one who made things possible, someway somehow and she really did have convincing arguments.
But now that he had his swimshorts, he was looking straight towards the door that would lead him in the interiors of the house, but he really did not want to interrupt Delaana and Elikapeka inside with whatever they were doing. "I need to get changed..." Ares said with uncertainty as he looked back to where he was looking previously and finally he took a deep breath and stood up before looking at Ali and kissing her lips softly. "Be right back..." Ares said as he finally turned to walk inside hoping that his presence there wouldn't interrupt anything, not that he was actually looking for them, he just went straight to the bathroom to get changed.

Atlantis narrowed his eyes in Serrin's direction before laughing, since she did have a point there on all accounts, and added to that Crystal also joined the fun in teasing him, it was no brainer that he enjoyed these kind of talks and he really didn't care when it was people who he cared about that teased him. "You know being a training dummy isn't so bad," Atlantis said playfully before sighing softly and then finally said in a theatrical and dramatic tone as if confiding a very big and dark secret. "Or actually, my doppelgänger enjoys that," Atlantis smirked as he looked at both Crystal and Serrin, but more Serrin in particular. "You remember my doppelgänger, right, the one you have met on Corellia? He hasn't changed, at all and still is a big piece of work, but considering that it is a big extension of my personality, I suppose that it's fine, therefore I am also in essence the one taking the beatdown, right?" And perhaps he wasn't making that much of a sense but that did not matter, it was really understandable in his mind right now.
Laughing soon enough when Crystal gave Serrin the expression to use him as a dummy or just punch him whenever, Atlantis looked at his girlfriend silently. He really had no idea what to say and he will admit it, not out loud of course, that she had just burned him, badly. "Okay, ladies, I adore you both, but really, do you really have to gang up on me?" Atlantis asked playfully before shaking his head and smiling widely. "Glad to see that hasn't changed at all." Grinning quite happily as he really was certain, that at least Serrin was enjoying this moment and allowing her to momentarily shove back the things she had been through, same for Crystal, Atlantis said no more and just took a sip of his water while noticing his brother joining him actually at the bar and speaking with Morgan after she had quipped about something about not wearing clothes.
Atlantis had not followed the entire conversation but from the sound of it, it was something that Ryan said but also the ones from Honoghr and he really was wondering what that was all about, until he put two and two together, or at least could make a tentative assumption as his gaze landed on Alisha, remembering commenting on her swimwear that looked like the one Crystal had. But he said nothing of it, lest he got into further trouble, instead he looked at the others around the pool and particularly to where Franz and Ayodele were seeing them talking, it made him smile, though he didn't look for far too long and instead, he looked at the ones at the grill and arched his eyebrow dubiously. "What's the ETA on all of that?" Atlantis asked as he pointed at the meat grilling there on the barbecue but he already noticed that some were ready.

Lakehouse - Kitchen
Elikapeka tilts her head to the side and adopts a befuddled expression, jokingly responding to Delanna's question about work giving her ideas about possible future vacation spots, "Time off? What is that again?" Laughing and shaking her head, Elika returns her attention to her sketch, the broader strokes of her pencils coupled with the occasional use of a blending stick that she makes while listening to or looking at Delaana suggesting that she has turned momentarily to shading rather than capturing fine details, a shy but pleased smile surfacing on her lips when Delanna says that she is glad to have found herself where she has.
Looking up from her sketch, a contemplative and critical frown replacing her earlier smile as she studies her efforts, Elika holds up a finger with a grin when Delaana says she'll be wanting a souvenir of the day for herself, and says, "Worry not, my Ceesi, as she picks up a blending stick and spends a moment touching up her sketch. Carefully separating the sketch from her drawing pad, Elika explains, It won't be me that decides where to hang this, since it was meant for you. Handing the sketch to Delaana, Elika smiles as she says, So, see my Ceesi? You have your souvenir, and I'm acquitted of the false cheating charges."

Hot Stuff and I seem to be on a different wavelink here ... I wasn't clear, that is a fact, but, "No, not that, though you and Crystal could definitely ask him for that other thing, His engagement, that other thing, since I am sure that siblings do take priority on that sort of thing, but I actually mean something else for the identical twins to ask him about a few things. Now that I think about it, not the best of ideas, seeing Boss Man there, smiling, yeaaaahno ... Not gonna happen! But you know what, never mind about that."
Turning one of the meats after placing another one done onto a plate and covering it, I still have to wrap my mind around a few things, from what I could tell earlier, Ares seemed troubled when it was just he and I in the kitchen. Yeah, better not get into that since from the looks of it, he is currently enjoying himself, and not just him, from the looks of it ... Looking towards that area, where Ice is, talking with the others, or maybe she is just trying to get along, I did see the look Alisha had given me earlier and perhaps I may do something about that later, but truth be told, Considering what I do know, from the talks we had last night ... He is also a guy, gees, I really have no idea, and he is also my boss.
Snapping out of it upon hearing a comment from the girl over there, I stifle a laughter at her statement before taking deep breath. ... And Gorgeous told me I had to go PG, really? Ugh! Keeping it together, keeping it together, but I cannot help but to say to her loud enough, "Then again, those are just clothes, right? So torn or not what is the difference? Winking playfully at her before looking at Alisha and her future sister in law, I roll my eyes playfully before adding on teasingly, I am sure that several guys here, if not all, are guilty of tearing clothes off ..."
Returning to the grill and placing another meat, I look over my shoulder upon hearing Lover Boy, "Five minutes, Lover Boy, although you will have to check with Gorgeous and the Hapan Bombshell inside about the side dishes, that is if they actually did some ..." Biting my lower lip to stop myself from laughing because that is what I am about to do, I am convinced that, of course, they did some side dishes, but this is just me, I love to tease Gorgeous ... If they all have a problem with that, they can sue me!

Delaana laughed softly when Elika told her that the sketch was for her, Lana had to admit, Elika got her there, which was why she looked at the architect with an amused expression. "I should have known not to assume to begin with, considering you do live with an attorney." Smiling warmly before releasing Elika after giving her cheek a gentle peck, "Thank you my Shakal, I love it." Looking at the sketch right there in her hand; to be perfectly honest, she really had no idea where she should be putting that, considering that she wasn't that big of a fan in exposing portraits of her around her place. It wasn't about confidence issues, it was more the fact of how Elika perceived her through this portrait perhaps, it was very far off the mark, but that was just something that Lana had no wish to speak about or even dwell on.
Rolling the sketch since she wasn't about to fold it, Lana looked back at Elika with a playful expression. "Considering that I have falsely accused you, I am the one who owe you now, right?" Nibbling her lower lip briefly, Lana wondered what would please Elika, but considering that Lana had falsely assumed previously, she really did not want to assume this time. "I suppose you will have to let me know, that is if you do have an idea currently." Glancing back at the oven since it should be done soon, Lana wondered if it would be preferable for them to go back outside sooner rather than later lest Lily started getting ideas...
"Did you actually want to get back outside, my Shakal? I am sure that a particular someone is wondering what we might be doing." Shaking her head playfully before rolling her eyes, Lana put the rolled sketch down on the kitchen island to check on the gratin's progress and noticed that it was done, which was why she turned off the oven and put some gloves on to take the pan out and let it cool a little.

Elikapeka smiles when Delaana says that she loves the sketch, pleased to have pleased the woman with the gesture as intended even though something vague and elusive in Delaana's tone or expression seems to suggest that the sketch does not accurately portray the subject as she sees herself. Shaking her head when Delaana suggests that she is in Elika's debt for having falsely accused her of cheating, Elika says with a playful tone accompanied by a kittenish smile, "No need to worry, there is no debt incurred, my Ceesi."
Laughing at the mention of Lily's probable wondering about what they might be up to, Elika says, "Oh, I'm sure she's way past the wondering and already onto using her imagination to come up with all kinds of ideas. Standing up and making her way to the cabinets to collect dishes and cutlery, Elika suggests, Why don't we get everything outside so it's ready for when everything else is ready?"

Delaana narrowed her eyes briefly as if unconvinced by the supposedly no incurring debt, she smiled soon enough before saying, "Well, if you are sure, my Shakal, you will have to think of something before the end of the day, otherwise after that, it no longer counts." Winking playfully before returning to her task at hand, Lana thought for a moment as she looked at the gratin right there and decided to already pre-cut it before adding a serving spatula after finding it in one of the drawers.
Looking up once she was done, Lana looked straight at Elika with an amused smile. "I am sure about that, although perhaps she is already devising other plans, for whomever needs it outside." Lana stifled at laughter, it just amused her to see Lily, the current AG of Umgul just acting that way outside of work, since words had it that back in the government building, some referred to her as the she-demon, or just a... Lana rather not go there, and she was very well aware, that Lily knew all about that also. "Probably the best idea, and I am sure that Lily is done barbecuing by now."
Grabbing everything she needed to grab, Lana did not forget the sketch on her way outside and just gently placed that down onto her lounge chair before heading straight to where the food was gathered. "We did do some side dishes, plus, Elika and I did say we would help out, no?" Having overheard Lily's comment as she had stepped out of the lakehouse, Lana couldn't help but to just toss a little flake in Lily's direction. "Need anything else?" Smiling widely before glancing at Elika with a knowing wink, Lana looked back at Lily and the others just to check what they were currently doing.

Lakehouse - Kitchen
Walking up behind Delaana and wrapping her arms around the woman's waist, Elikapeka rests her chin on Delaana's right shoulder and says softly just beside her ear, "Well, I am sure, my Ceesi. Think of it as a gift from me to you. You don't ask for something in return for a gift, do you? Kissing Delaana gently on the back of the neck, Elika steps back and then looks at the dishes and cutlery that she has collected so far. Laughing when Delaana points out that Lily has more likely than not moved on to making plans for others outside, Elika nods and says, You may be right. Putting on a playfully worried frown, Elika sighs jokingly, Shiraya protect them all."
Setting the salad atop the dishes, Elika manages to balance everything as she follows Delaana outside, stifling a laugh when Delaana takes a verbal jab at Lily. Walking to the bar to set out the salad and dishes and cutlery, Elika, assuming they will be doing things more or less serve-yourself-y, arranges things to make it easier for everyone to grab what they need, and once she realizes she is fussing needlessly with the arrangement as her OCD surfaces, tears herself away and heads back into the kitchen to grab a few things she has forgotten, such as napkins, condiments, and a selection of dressings. Even after telling herself she wouldn't spend too much time fussing with the arrangement, Elika finds herself obsessing about what to put where, and so finds herself occupied with trying to set things out in a visually appealing way all the same.

Lakehouse - Pool
Opening his mouth to say something to begin with about that thing that Lily and he originally referred to, the whys Ares was just silent-comm for a long time, Ryan closed his mouth soon enough when his girlfriend pretty much told him not to. "At least for the day, for if I did ask him, that would certainly be a big transgression to your golden rule of the day, right?" Glancing around the pool and noticing his brother upping and leave to head back inside, Ryan looked pointedly at his future sister-in-law "Alicat, please don't tell me you won't go after him for some payback?" Ryan asked her innocently, at least to the best he could muster at his current state because he simply was amused, from Morgan's comment to even his girlfriend's comment. "Women too!" Ryan quipped before his eyes widened and he pursed his lips to stop himself from laughing and just carried on with putting the meat onto plates each time it was completed, he arranged those by how it was cooked from rare to medium well for each and everyone.
But as he looked at it, he realized that at least one plate was missing and he looked in his cousin's direction, Franz to be precise, but more particularly the woman he was with. "Uh, tesoro, we are missing a plate for..." Ryan looked at Ayodele briefly and then back at his girlfriend knowing that someone or anyone might remedy to that sooner or later since currently he noticed that both Elika and Delaana had stepped outside with the side dishes, helping them out if needed be, he just placed them by the bar and returned next to Lily overhearing Lana speaking to Lily.
Looking at Lana who asked if Lily needed anything else, Ryan shook his head with wide eyes, to hopefully not to try and tempt Lily for a comeback, but alas, he was just a guy and he better not get in the middle of that, which was why he made himself scarce and just returned to his occupation which was keeping an eye or two on the grilling meat and letting Lily know whenever that was done. He figured that he would be of better help over there by the bar and he looked at Elika noticing that she was placing things by her liking. "Do you need any help, or anything else inside, which I can get or yell at my brother to go get it, so that will prevent you from coming to and fro?" Ryan asked with an amused grin before looking away and around the pool once more but more particularly the current people near the bar.

*Fortunately for Morgan, it seemed her little quip had been well-received, drawing some amused expressions and comments from some of the adults. Ryan had told her that "that urge" was apparently "uncontrollable," or at least for Alisha's boyfriend. Morgan seemed confused by this; she understood the idea of passion... sort of... but enough to literally tear the clothes off of someone? Wasn't that just sort of a waste?
And then, much to her surprise, the Vice-Governor himself, the man who she was led to believe kept mostly to himself, had even replied to her. He had left his spot from the lounge chair and was at the bar, close enough to listen to their conversation. His words to Morgan spoke of the "unimaginable amount of debaucheries" here, and that Morgan was in the "perfect place." However, he also noted his uncertainty as to her daddy and aunt's reactions should one of the women here "drag" her. She frowned a little, looking over at her father questioningly, then over to Lily as she too replied to her. Only her comment was to wonder what the difference was between torn and untorn clothes, seeing as they were "just" clothes, and also accusing most, if not all of the guys here of tearing clothes off.
Morgan started to giggle, then briefly began to seriously wonder if her own daddy had ever done that to Mom. Just as quickly she decided that was probably a topic she didn't want to think about, so she steered her thoughts away from that to simply being pleased that she wasn't feeling out-of-place. Though she wasn't entirely sure how her daddy felt on the subject right now... instead, she only looked back at Andros curiously and asked,* "'Dragged'?"

*While Aerandir and Michelle relaxed against the edge of the pool, the Jedi from Felucia glanced around here and there, picking up tidbits from various conversations, though mostly focused on the group over where Morgan was seated. The conversation was turning a bit lewd, and Morgan had been quick to pick up on part of it and reply... with... that. He almost wanted to facepalm; Michelle had clearly heard it as well, for she was giggling madly.* "Stop it," *he teased, shoving her playfully.
He almost considered apologizing for her behavior, but she was nine years old; she was more than old enough to take responsibility for her own actions. Fortunately, her quip had been well-received... fortunately for her, anyway, though he wasn't sure how comfortable he was with the subject matter of some of the responses. At least Morgan had asked the burning question, what Andros had meant by "dragged"; Aerandir wasn't even surprised that the perceived recluse had opened up somewhat to Morgan so quickly. The girl just had that effect. Still, it provided him with an opportunity to observe the man's demeanor as well, so he could keep his reservations about the conversation to himself for now and gather more intelligence...*

Lakehouse - Pool
Sneeze, and another sneeze ... What the heck?! Who has been talking about me, again ... Obviously it's no one here in particular, but I do look around after lifting my head from my elbow's crook. I am sure that Boss Man is mainly referring to me when he said 'women' but that is just it; he said women. Well, well ... Noticing that both Gorgeous and the Hapan Bombshell are back here, I look at the two of them suspiciously but before I can really focus on the both of them, my attention turns towards Ryan when he tells me that a plate is missing ...
Furrowing my eyebrows and making a quick head count, he is right and I nod to let him know that he is correct and also now that I think about it, I haven't heard Ayodele telling me how she liked her meat in particular, but I am guessing that Pookie has already asked her or something and perhaps he'd rather make it himself and be that nice, adorable guy who is tending to her. I'll ask in a few seconds ...
Putting the last of the meats onto a plate, I finally turn and listen attentively to the Hapan Bombshell, who indeed has prepared some side dishes with Gorgeous and now she is asking me if I need anything else ... "Actually currently ... Pausing midsentence and looking at her with narrowed eyes as I remember my sneeze fit a few moments ago, I finally nod and purse my lips to begin with. If you and Gorgeous could just stop talking about me, Rolling my eyes playfully before looking back at Lana and then at Gorgeous over there who seems to be fussing about the arrangement of the dishes, I would appreciate it and besides, I am sure that you two have better conversational topics, or better yet, it would be better spent making out!"
That said, I wink playfully at Gorgeous when I catch her eyes and then look over Boss Man and particularly Morgan who is asking about some explanation to the whole dragging thing. It amuses me that Andros knows all about our shenanigans here, Or let's be real, mine in particular, And I cannot help but to smile at him interacting with someone he barely knows. But lifting my hand in surrender and finally removing the gloves that I have been wearing, I purposely look at Gorgeous and sigh dramatically. "Whatever happens from here on out, I am completely innocent, not even the culprit here to begin with." PG, PG, maybe I did say something about the clothes but I did not start that topic of conversation, Hot Stuff did. Which is why I elbow his side and look at him with an amused grin.

Giggling at Morgans innocent comment, Ali glanced at Ryan while shrugging innocently when he mentioned that she'd driven Ares to the point that she needed new swimwear. Turning her attention back to Ares, she smiled silently when he said that he definitely saw or at least thought Ice was feeling something. Nodding her head in agreement, Ali grinned wickedly when he caught her wandering hand before placing a kiss along her knuckles. Andros had came over to them by this point and had struck up a conversation with young Morgan. During this time, Ares had briefly spoke to Andros before saying that he'd be right back while Ali casually leaned back against the lounge chair watching Ice through her sunglasses to see her cousins reaction to him being close by.
Ice didn't seem to be outwardly bothered by Andros' closeness but Ali did notice that Ice took a seemingly long time to rub the lotion into the skin of her arms and legs. Arching an eyebrow, Ali smirked to herself as she took a drink from the beer that Ice had left on the stand between their lounge chairs.
"You know, Icy....if you keep rubbing that same spot on your arm, you might actually rub a few layers of skin off." She mused teasingly, pointing the beer bottle at Ice's arm and giving her an amused wink when Ice looked up with a questioning look.
"What?"
Ali laughed as she leaned forward and placed a hand atop Ice's, temporarily halting Ice's movements. "You've been rubbing that same spot for the last five minutes, chérie. I think the lotion is more than rubbed in enough. Loosen up and join the conversation, and for the love of Gahd, move on to the other arm."
Removing her hand from Ice's, Ali leaned back again with a knowing grin as she took another drink from the bottle of beer. Scowling for a second, Ice put some lotion in her hand and began rubbing the other arm as she narrowed her eyes at Ali.
"Happy now?" Ice asked with mock sarcasm before noticing that Ali was drinking her beer. "And why are you doing drinking my beer? I have a good idea about what you've been doing with those lips recently, Alisha Mercotti, and I don't want them all over my drink!"
Ali couldn't help herself as she burst out laughing at Ice's exclamation. Pushing her sunglasses to the top of her head, she met Ice's gaze with a sugary sweet smile and semi whispered. "At least my lips have seen some action lately, chérie. I just wonder if the ice princesses lips will ever see action again." She smirked giving Ice a challenging look as she took yet another drink from the beer bottle.
Pursing her lips, Ice stopped rubbing her arm and leaned forward looking over the rim of her sunglasses to meet Ali's challenging gaze with one of her own. "You know....I sometimes wonder why I hang out with you at all, Ali. Shouldn't you be inside jumping Ares' bones again, or something? And get your own damn drink!"
She reached out grabbing the bottle from Ali and took a long drink before pushing her sunglasses up on her nose. Chuckling, Ali pulled her own sunglasses from the top of her head and settled them on her face with a crooked grin. "I thought you didn't want to drink that after having my naughty lips touch it."
Shooting Ali an exasperated look, Ice waved a dismissive hand in her direction as she picked up the lotion bottle again to resume putting lotion on her exposed limbs. Laughing with genuine amusement, Ali looked over to Ryan again when he asked if she would go for payback on Ares for tearing her clothes. Looking toward the house, then back to Ryan, she gave a teasingly evil smirk. "Oh there will definitely be payback, Ryan. He just won't know when. Though I may, or may not, have accidentally ripped some buttons off of one of his shirts a while back...." She left that sentence in the air with a casual wave of her hand, grinning at Ice who was just shaking her head in amusement at Ali.
Pursing her lips, Ali silently decided it was time to get the proverbial ball rolling. Looking at Ice, then to Andros, she chuckled mentally before speaking to him. "Andros, do you think you could possibly help out my dear cousin with putting some lotion on her back? I would do it, but I'm suddenly very thirsty since she took her beer away from me."
Ice's head shot up, her eyes leveled at Ali in a shocked then somewhat scathing look beneath her sunglasses. Ali, unperturbed by the glaring gaze, stood up with a smile and walked over to the bar, leaving Ice to deal with the situation. Ali had laid the groundwork, now what Ice and Andros did with it was entirely up to them....
