Lakehouse - Pool
“Correct you are about that, Ares, although…” Andros replied to him about how the Lakehouse was run more or less, which in essence it was a good place for him, he felt safe here and no matter what debaucheries occurred here, he didn’t care. No one treated him like a pariah, no one ever asked him, so to speak, to change his personality. He was just free…
And a lot wondered why he was always so closed off, they only had to look at most of the people here, no one treated him differently and no one expected him to act this or that way.
“You’d be surprised in knowing that it’s not always the same pulling those strings.” Andros knew that it was preferable to leave it at that. Though he wouldn’t be against explaining it, in essence, depending on who he was dealing with, they had ways to appeal to him, different ways and that really made him content. Whether it was the Attorney General and her franc-parler, to the Architect just knowing correctly how to approach him and how to speak to him, to the Chief Financial Officer always managing to balance things out and letting the others seeing every sides of the stories to begin with.
Seeing the three of them just right there, in a way, Andros was very appeased and he even had that somewhat lasting smile on the corner of his lips until his expression reverted to its usual one when he heard the young girl speaking to him and seemingly asking for him to elaborate. Andros smirked briefly and shook his head with that certain amused look. “If I told you everything there was to know about them you would no longer be surprised, and that would be a shame, young one.” Andros told her with an equally amused tone paired to his expression. He even glanced at Lily with an unconvinced expression when she declared she was, so to speak, washing her hands of all of that. “Disappointing, Ljiljana, and here I thought you would be on the front lines to make sure this day would go as you have planned.”
For a moment he entertained telling more things to Lily but his attention was called out and that unsurprisingly somewhat appealed to a sentiment that he loathed, perhaps even his heartbeat quickened and he took a deep breath looking at both Alisha and Ice. More importantly he was looking straight at Alisha when she requested of him to perhaps apply some lotion on her cousin, a woman Andros barely knew, and that was just unthinkable for him.
Andros was many things, and just as those many things, he would do them or not, in this instance, he wouldn’t even want to do that; applying some lotion. Momentarily closing his eyes to control his breathing and calm his heartbeat, Andros opened his eyes once more and redirected his gaze towards Ice in particular. Andros didn’t know what he saw, or he couldn’t make out anything of it but at least that gave him enough indication. “Something tells me your cousin wouldn’t like that, and she looks downright pissed off with you, Alisha…”
Anything to get out of this situation as well, Andros would be all for it quite honestly, he was already giving enough quid pro quo to his brother by speaking with others, but surely Atlantis did not expect him to apply some frakking lotion onto a woman he didn’t know?!
Andros snapped his attention towards Atlantis with narrowed eyes and just glared in his direction because in a way, it was his brother that had put him up to that damning thing!

"She'll get over it."
Ali quipped over her shoulder with a wave of her hand when Andros commented that it looked like Ice was pissed at her. Watching her cousins retreating back with an incredulous stare, Ice couldn't believe that Ali had just put her on the spot - amongst people she hardly knew, no less. Did she really just get thrown under the land speeder? Shaking her head in mild disbelief, Ice could only hope that Andros took it as a joke when their eyes met. She wasn't sure what he was silently feeling or thinking but the way he snapped his attention towards Atlantis with a glare, told Ice that he was just as uncomfortable as she was at the moment.
Straightening up and setting the beer bottle back on the stand beside her lounge char, and with the best smile she could muster, Ice tossed the lotion bottle into her bag and pulled on the light button up shirt she'd originally had on before getting in the pool.
"It's all good. No lotion needed for my back. It's why I have this." She said while adjusting the shirt and smoothing it a hand over it. Looking up from his datapad, Lukas, who had seemingly been enthralled in his 'toons, glanced over to Andros while taking a drink of his apple juice. Holding the glass carefully in both hands, he tilted his head slightly to the side as he gazed curiously at Andros and announced matter-of-factly.
"Mommy's gots lots of scawrs. Ali an' Aunt Jena fixted dhem a lil bit for her."
Staring briefly at her son, it was all Ice could do to not facepalm at that moment. The kid sure picked the oddest times to speak up, especially when one would've thought that he was more interested in his cartoons than the conversations going on around the pool area. She couldn't be mad at him for stating the obvious, but it seemed like he was inadvertently following Ali's lead and trying to make her one of the focal points of the day.
Reaching over with a slight grin, she ruffled his hair playfully. "I'm pretty sure he already knows that, dude, so lets not talk about it right now, okay?"
Lukas met her gaze with a toothy grin and a small shrug."Ok!" He exclaimed before setting his glass of juice down beside him and returning his attention to the datapad on his lap again. Breathing a small sigh of relief that Lukas had decided to not pursue the subject any further. Maybe it was a mistake coming here today. She probably should've just had Ares drop her and Lukas off at the Inn to get settled. And Ali, oh she was going to have a long talk with Ali about trying to play meddling matchmaker. Ice idly rubbed her forehead before dropping her hand and looking at Andros again, not exactly sure what to say.
"I'm sorry for all of this, if it made you angry or uncomfortable. Ali should have never suggested the lotion idea and I will be talking to her about it later. As for Lukas, he's very observant and not much escapes his attention even if it seems like it does. So, sorry. I'll make sure he doesn't bother you any further, nor will I."
The serious sincerity in her low voice was genuine. She meant every word she said. She didn't want anyone to feel uneasy, least of all him, around her. She wouldn't engage him in any more conversation unless he invited it and she would keep Lukas, and with any luck, Ali, out of his hair too.......

Her dark eyes remain on Franz's own as he speaks, her nearly always present smile lingering even though the amusement oft to be seen in them fades to be replaced with a simple attentiveness and curiosity that should make it plain to him that Ayodele is interested in what he has to say; for though his words themselves afford only the brief glimpses into Franz's thoughts and feelings which she has come to accept as his preference when speaking of himself, Ayodele attends also to those things his expressions and intonations reveal, wittingly or unwittingly, to her. Her first impression of Franz, Ayodele learns, was not far off the mark, if it was in fact off at all; his initial statement confirmation of her suspicion that he has endured trials of one kind or another which have left their mark upon him, shaping him in ways he himself, his words and eyes reveal, has yet to fully realize. He speaks of finding himself once more, and Ayodele cannot help but wonder if he would be better served by learning of what he has become instead; for it sounds and seems to her that Franz has been fundamentally altered by what he has weathered, and she knows first hand how time and experience can shape one.
After Franz speaks of his training and duties, in his uniquely, rather oblique fashion, Ayodele smiles with another delighted, lyrical laugh at his request for time - a request more amusing to her than it might be to another - and nods as she says, "You may have however much time you need, or desire, Franz. Glancing over her shoulder, noting that it looks as though they will be dining soon, Ayodele says, As for further questions, I believe that they can wait. Looking back to Franz, her smile becoming playfully amused, Ayodele says, Or perhaps, going forward, I shall simply wait for you to tell me what you wish to share when you desire to share it, Franz."

Pretending to look serious when Crystal points out the disadvantages inherent in Atlantis' refusal to take sparring seriously when it comes to doing so with females, I nod and say as soberly as possible, "You really would think so, wouldn't you? Laughing when Crystal offers me an open opportunity to take advantage of Atlantis' services as a practice dummy, I look at him and wink as I say, I'll certainly keep that in mind."
Nodding when Atlantis asks if I remember his doppleganger, I agree with his assessment of the fact his doppleganger also apparently enjoys taking the occasional beating, "I should think so, yes. As you say, he is an extension of you, if not simply you in another form. I blink a bit in surprise as my own doppleganger, or rather the one that resides solely in my mind, appears beside Atlantis and chuckles as she asks if that means I admit that she is simply me, but recover quickly, ignoring her as I lift my hands and tell Atlantis with a smile, Oh, don't pout when we know you obviously love it so. But, fine, if you insist, no more ganging up for at least a little while, I promise."

Lakehouse — Pool
For a brief, yet fast, moment, Atlantis noticed Serrin blinking in surprised when the doppelgänger matter came up, and for a moment he looked at her inquisitively but since he couldn't make anything out of it and she carried on with the conversation at hand about his very own doppelgänger, "I ain't even mad," Atlantis stated comically as he lifted both of his hands in the air and just smirked playfully before chuckling soon enough when Serrin promised to stop ganging up on him, at least for a little while, which caused him to look at his girlfriend pointedly this time. "She promised, and I don't suppose you will extend the same courtesy, huh?" Wistful thinking, that much he knew, at least he knew Crystal well enough to know that those kind of promises concerning him receiving either a beatdown or just punts in general she never promised at all. While waiting for that answer, he looked at Serrin and pretended to wipe a non-existent sweat from his forehead and breathed dramatically in relief. "Many thanks, Serrin, at least it warms my heart that at least I still am capable to appeal to some people's sentiments." Smiling widely, as if victorious there, though his smile soon faltered upon seeing his girlfriend look which caused him to clear his throat and just turn his attention elsewhere.
That elsewhere was Lily.
"Ye have faith, counselor," Atlantis even pointed to where Lana and Elika were and chuckled but he even pursed his lips upon hearing the PA pulling Lily's leg in return. Ah that familiarity, really was relaxing and even his brother seemed to have joined up on that, which was why Atlantis was looking at Andros for a moment in silence, until Alisha stated something blatantly to Andros in helping Ice out to apply some lotion on her. That was going to be awkward and he looked in his brother's direction wondering how he would react, but as Atlantis had expected, Andros just looked at him with a glare. Atlantis wasn't bothered by his glaring brother, actually to him it was just weird not to see Andros glare for a long period of time and it seemed like Alisha had managed to bring that out of him. Seeing that Alisha was relatively next to him, by the bar, Atlantis looked at her with a faint frown but also with a dubious expression. "I am missing something, aren't I? You have just pulled a similar stunt as..." Atlantis gestured in Lily's direction, but still he kept his voice low and he continued to look at Alisha but this time with an amused grin. "That'll never work unless she is the one holding out the stick."
There was that, but there was also the fact that Atlantis very well knew Andros, and his identical twin had someone else in mind but then again, not at lot knew that, and considering that it had been a while since Lara had left with her brother, and that apparently she and Andros were somewhere that was very complicated, Atlantis couldn't even imagine what his brother was going through currently...
Shrugging faintly, he noticed that both Lily and Ryan were done with grilling and placing the meats on the plates, he finally declared to everyone. "Right! Who is hungry? The food is ready and I am sure that all of you have waited long enough." Looking over his shoulder and seeing that Elika had arranged the dishes there perfectly, he looked at her gratefully and inclined his head. "Looks like we are in for a treat."

All this time Franz had spent with Ayodele thusfar gave him small knowledge about herself, but those were enough to him, for now, quite honestly. He really didn't want to rush anything at all and he supposed this time that going through it all would serve him better in the long run, unlike the last time. He had been burnt a few times but the last one really made him withdraw and then that other thing that occurred back home completely obliterated him, figuratively speaking. But that was a story for another time, he supposed as right now, Franz was still looking at Ayodele and there was just something about her expression that soothed him, whether she knew it or not, the way she would just look at him patiently, not judgments but also her words seemed to really appease him.
"Thank you." He gratefully said when Ayodele assured him that he could have all the time he wanted and better yet she would be willing to wait for him to share whatever it was he wanted to share in his own time. He appreciated that, that went without saying. Still to Franz, Ayodele was still a big mystery to him, he knew a few facts but at the same time it was as if he barely knew her as well. For a moment he was tempted to ask those questions upon questions but that would be unfair, as she gave him the time he needed. Instead he figured that it would be best if he extended the same courtesy. Franz looked at her sincerely and a genuine smile. "I hope you know it is also a two way street, whenever you wish to tell me anything, I will listen."
Looking for a moment towards the bar there, he noticed a few things which got him to furrow his eyebrows briefly, he could have sworn that before Andros wasn't glaring and now he was. Something must have happened, but from the looks of it, it wasn't that big of a deal or at least Atlantis seemed to try to move things along smoothly by declaring that it was time to eat. Franz looked at Ayodele with a warm smile and lifted a hand. "Crystal said that I would be tending to you perfectly, therefore, don't move..." He sheepishly said before rubbing the back of his head. Though the most important question he had to ask her, he did not, not yet at least. "Can I get you anything to eat? That is if you are hungry of course?" Come to think of it, now that he thought back, he couldn't recall her telling Lily about how she wanted her meat cooked, or did she? Closing his eyes briefly he tried to focus by taking a deep breath but he knew that he was looking like an idiot right now which was why he opened his eyes once more and looked at her dubiously.

Nodding gravely when Serrin pretty much confirmed what Crystal had just said about Atlantis' reluctance to sparring with female in general, she couldn't help but to look at her boyfriend with an aggrieved expression before rolling her eyes exasperatedly in a fake manner. "Oh please do, Serrin, just make it happen when he least expects it, or just when he is being plain ridiculous." Crystal said somberly about the Twi'lek Jedi using Atlantis as a sparring dummy, or just his doppelganger. Right that doppelganger, the first time she had met it, it was a long time ago at her birthday and a few times, Atlantis did summon one, and she had to admit, the doppelganger definitely had a personality of its own, a more pronounced trait of Atlantis' personality.
Soon enough Crystal look at Atlantis jadedly before slightly shaking her head to let him know that she wasn't going to extend the same courtesy. "Now where is the fun in that, Atlantis?" Nonetheless she winked at him and nudged him before smiling but unable to help herself she did punch his shoulder soon after before laughing softly. Though in that brief instant something had caught her attention, Andros' look towards his very own brother, added to that what Alisha had just tried to do.
Oh boy... Rubbing her forehead briefly, Crystal took a deep soothing breath and closed her eyes momentarily for if there was one thing she actually knew about Andros, he didn't like people meddling in his private affairs. Heck even Lily never, so to speak, did that with him and that was saying something. Instead of saying anything about that, Crystal opened her eyes once more when Atlantis pretty much gave her the best opening right now and looked at Serrin with a knowing smile and sliding off the stool, Crystal picked up the rare cooked meat and added some of the side dishes that both Elika and Lana had prepared and handed the plate to Serrin with some cutlery and a napkin. "Anyone eat wherever you want, though I am certain that half of us could fit there in the recess area, if you wish?" Crystal suggested as she picked up the other plates and added some of the side dishes each time and handed those to whom the plate belonged according to how the meat was cooked.

For a split second, Lana thought that perhaps she should have never asked the attorney if she needed anything else, because Lily always managed to have a come back no matter the circumstances and it also did not help that Ryan told Lana not to. But then again, Lana was just Lana and she enjoyed from time to time poking fun here and there when it came to Lily plus the lawyer rarely took it negatively, at least depending on the person she was dealing with. "True," Lana conceded on Lily's point right then and there. "But then again, that would mean Elika and I wouldn't be holding the end of our bargain, which was to make side dishes and as I am sure that most is not everyone here is hungry, then it would be a shame if you had cooked all of that but there weren't any side dishes, right?" Managing to keep a convincing tone and a smile on her features, Lana sighed softly. "Besides, you are always the one saying women stick together, and thus your name popped up at some point." Lana was pretty much making it up as she went, but more or less it was the truth, not that she and Elika were necessarily talking about Lily because of that, but she didn't need to know.
Winking playfully and walking over towards Elika, Lana wrapped an arm around her waist and looked at the arrangement she had made. "It looks great, my Shakal," Lana commented genuinely before pecking Elika's cheek gently and she proceeded to help Crystal this instance by handing the plate and placing some of the salad and gratin next to the meat until she noticed that there seemed to be missing one. Lana furrowed her eyebrows momentarily and looked at Elika dubiously. "You think someone here is not eating any meats?" Lana commented softly, she knew it wasn't one of the guys, at least those she knew about personally, but then who could it be, currently she had no clue, at least she was glad that there was enough salad and gratin.
When people had been served, Lana finally handed a plate to Elika and looked at her with a warm smile. "Where did you want to eat, my Shakal?"

Inclining her head with a smile to acknowledge Franz's thanks, Ayodele elects not to dwell on the subject of opening up to one another for the time being, interpreting his comment as indicative of his preference to take her up on the offer to wait for him to reveal things in his own time, and so when he extends the same offer to her, Ayodele answers with a simple, "I shall certainly bear that in mind, Franz," her tone a light and airy one that, she hopes, suggests to him that she feels she harbors no deep or dark secrets, nor carries any kind of painful burdens that weigh on her.
Laughing lyrically when Franz informs her that he has been tasked with tending to her perfectly, Ayodele languidly stands as she says, "As appealing as it might be to some to be waited upon, Franz, I think I will instead relieve you of the need to tend to me. Beginning to walk towards where the food has been laid out, Ayodele looks over her shoulder and beckons with a finger for Franz to follow as she says, I am not particularly hungry, actually, but I am sure I can find something to nibble upon while you eat."
Stepping beside Delaana, who has asked Elikapeka if someone is not eating meat, Ayodele smiles as she says in an amused tone, "That would be me, I believe, while picking up a plate and adding a few slices of fruit to it so that she will have something to suggest she intends to eat. Everything looks wonderful," Ayodele says to compliment the chefs as she adds a bit of salad to her plate, and then stands aside to wait for Franz to get his food and lead them to wherever it is he wants to sit.

Arching the thin ridge of muscle over my left eye with a mischievous smile when Atlantis thanks me for my decision to forgo treating him as a training dummy and tells Crystal that e would appear to be able to successfully appeal to the sentiments of some despite the fact she seems to be immune, I pointedly give Crystal a wink as I tell him, "Or so I want you to believe. I may simply be trying to get you to lower your guard. Laughing when Crystal asks that I wait until Atlantis is being ridiculous to strike unexpectedly, I ask playfully, That should be a really rather short wait, don't you think?"
"Thank you," I tell Crystal when she hands me a plate, and then, after looking about for a place to sit, walk over towards the garden and take a seat.

Franz looked at Ayodele with a sheepish smile but always kept his gaze on hers. He knew that now that he had extended the same courtesy as she did, he wasn't going to blatantly ask everything about herself, and from the sound of it, or at least how he interpreted it, she was just going to tell him when she was ready as well? He didn't know, for Force sake, he really sucked at this whole getting to know person now, and part of him wished he did not withdraw back then and just got back to socializing as soon as possible, but life decided otherwise. What just happened to him, he perhaps should just focus on something positive and he should probably take cues from her tone, which was just telling him to trust her.
At least right now.
Definitely now when he heard once more her familiar laugh that he liked hearing, and it really did make him smile genuinely until he narrowed his eyes briefly and held his breath momentarily before glancing suspiciously at the women there by the bar. "Well, I suppose that I shall accompany you towards there, or I may get in trouble." Franz shuddered just for show as he chuckled, trouble only because he apparently didn't tend to Ayodele like he was supposed to but then he did have a good excuse, right? Right. Nevertheless he stood up and walked with her towards where the food was located and nodded in acknowledgment when Ayodele told him that she wasn't particularly hungry. "I am sure we can find something to your liking."
Arriving at destination and seeing most if not everyone gathered there, while Crystal and Delaana seemed to be passing the plates along, Franz got his with a warm smile and thanked the ladies for cooking before his attention turned towards Elika and Lana as he smiled warmly to simply reiterate what Ayodele had just said. "And delicious too, thank you." Franz said with another smile before glancing around as he grabbed the cutlery for him and for Ayodele. "Towards the gardens? The recess area there?" Franz suggested with uncertainty, as he didn't know if she would be inclined to eat with other people too and speak with them or something, or just there by the lounge seat. "Wherever you prefer, either there or our seats?" He told her with a grin letting her have that choice.

Lakehouse - Pool
Smiling a bit nervously, almost as though caught being OCD even though there is no real indication that is the case, when Ryan asks if anything else might be needed, Elikapeka shakes her head, tugging compulsively at her right sleeve after reaching out to turn a plate to a different angle that seems more aesthetically pleasing to her, and says, "Oh, um, no, but thank you, I, uh, think we have everything we need actually. Nodding, unable to keep herself from leaning forward to rearrange a pile of forks more neatly, Elika adds, Um, yes, I mean no, no, I think we have everything. Thanks."
Blushing when Lily, in Lily-like fashion, blurts out something about Delaana and Elika making out, Elika, having missed the context of the comment, tries to laugh as though the comment has not affected her as much as it has, and then smiles gratefully when Delaana arrives and puts an arm around her waist before pecking her cheek, the Hapan's presence exerting a calming effect that allows Elika to keep her anxiety at a manageable level. Reaching down and taking Delaana's hand, Elika laces their fingers together and smiles at her as, still mildly flustered, she babbles inanely, "It does all look good, my Ceesi. Thumb keeping her sleeve in place, Elika gestures towards Delaana and then Lily after Ayodele echoes Delaana's sentiments about how good the food looks, saying, Oh, thank the real chefs, I just made the salad. Pursing her lips in thought after Delaana asks where they should eat, Elika suggests in an uncertain tone, Lounge area? Looking over at Franz after he has asked Ayodele where she might prefer to eat, Elika says, Why don't you join us?"

Watching the interaction between Ice and Andros, Ali pursed her lips in a slight frown as she picked up the margarita that someone, she wasn't sure who exactly, had pushed toward her. Looking to Atlantis when he spoke, she smiled wryly.
Well, I tried. It seems to have backfired though, considering the glare you got from Andros and the 'I'm going to kill you' looks I'm getting from Icy. Lesson learned."
She said thoughtfully as she took sip of the margarita and gazed at Ice while she thought of different approaches to the situation. This would work out one way or another! Maybe if she just sat back for a while and watched things from a different perspective and let them get to know each other more naturally? Yeah, maybe that was the best thing to do right now.
She already knew she was going to hear about it from Ice about her trying to meddle, and she could deal with that when the time came, she just hoped Andros wasn't too angry with her. She still wasn't sure how to take the brooding one and she really didn't want to dampen his seemingly good mood....or break Lily's rule of no drama today. Setting the glass back down on the bar, she put a finger between the lenses of her shades and pushed them further up on her nose while idly gazing at Crystal as her future sister-in-law began handing out plates of food to everyone.

Why does the Hapan Bombshell be sensible right now and let alone be right?! Ugh ... Sighing exasperatedly and lifting my hand in surrender, while looking at Lana with a knowing smile, "Point to you, Hapan Bombshell ..." Winking at her playfully and looking to where Gorgeous is standing, she really seems to be uncomfortable around Hot Stuff. I am not surprised, it's not like they know one another that much anyways, but hopefully ... Smiling when Gorgeous visibly relaxes with Lana's proximity, I cannot but to help smiling knowingly before focusing my attention onto the plates that I seem to have been passing to either Baby Girl or the Hapan Bombshell but then again my attention seems to be focused somewhere else. This matchmaking business is going to drive me crazy ... One thing I know about Boss Man, he really hates when it's not the subtle kind and Alisha seemed to have chosen the not so subtle approach, but ... To do something or not ...
Thankfully for everyone involved, I don't have to think about that for a long time considering that Boss Man addresses me and reminds me of a few things about me, which causes me to smile. "Trust me, I am on it, Boss Man, and ... Shrugging noncommittally I just give him a knowing smile. I happen to know just the trick and that would just mix and match, mingle with others you aren't used to begin with, and then by the end of the day, you'll know what to say or do in order to avoid any faux pas, no?" I am not particularly referring to his actions or lack thereof, which is why I am looking briefly at Alisha with a knowing smile before blinking once to let her know that perhaps it would be best to let things run its course on this case.
Which brings me to my decision, there is nothing I am going to do about those two, whatever happens will happen and that won't be my doing. Finally grabbing my plate with the assortment of side dishes, I smile warmly at everyone before looking at CKayne, thoughtfully. "Idea next time, ladies ... Glancing at Gorgeous as well to include her in this because she does live here too. Or for next time, if this ever happens again, we need to purchase a big table and put it there in the garden?" I mean sure we have the lounge area but then again like CKayne has stated, most but not all of us are going to fit in there.
Grabbing what I need, and actually letting our guests to get settled wherever they want to begin with, I turn to look at Alisha with a knowing grin. "Your fiancé takes his sweet time to get changed ..."

Andros had heard Lily loud and clear about her ways of doing things, but at the same time, he wasn't really certain if she truly were talking to him or not, nonetheless he did look at her and inclined his head agreeing to her statement, obviously some people would learn about that and particularly Alisha perhaps, but he really wasn't here to pick a fight and he clearly wasn't here to argue about something that obviously wasn't her concern but throughout the very end, Andros just looked at Ice and her son, Lukas and all of that in silence for now. He really had no idea on what to say and he clearly didn't know what to do right then and there, but then again it wasn't as if he was technically looking or was he interested to begin with. He did not agree to come and stay here for those kind of reasons. He agreed because this would offer him a break that he had been needing for so long now, after that scandal and the media painting him as a murderer, Andros didn't want to be put on the spot, not here and not now.
Andros solely inclined his head once more, not showing any overt sign right now that he might have relaxed or had taken that mishap as a joke, he just stared and listened, even though it looked like he wasn't paying attention with the way that he was looking blankly right in front of him. But finally, Andros lifted his right hand and shook it slightly and faintly. "No harm done, and nothing to apologize for." Andros said curtly before taking a deep breath and looking up the sky for a moment and closing his eyes, he just needed to think and order his thoughts but thankfully whether Atlantis knew it or not, his brother had provided an out for Andros right now.
Which was why he looked back down at Ice and Lukas before nodding towards the bar where the food was being served from the looks of it. "We should all eat and get past all of that." Andros said before turning around and getting the plates destined for the Calmcacils and Ice in particular to hand those to them before finally getting a hold of his own plate and thanked the person. He noticed that Franz was there with Ayodele and he looked at the people right there by the table where the food was placed and then took a deep breath as there was a possibility that the majority of them would eat at the lounge area but at the same time he was certain that some people here present also wanted to get to know him in a way.
He clearly didn't like being under scrutinity but he also knew that it was necessary, at least hopefully they would do it when he was more comfortable and not just be interrogated just like that out of the blue.

Atlantis gasped dramatically upon hearing his girlfriend's words to Serrin and who the latter in turn pretty much burned him... Atlantis looked at Serrin with shock and then he pretended to sniffle, just for show. "For the love you and I both once shared," Sighing dramatically and shaking his head in dismay. "Of toasts, and it was a big love, you and I had..." Atlantis pursed his lips knowing that they definitely did not like that kind of toast anyways, but it was good times, Atlantis knew he would poke fun at that. "You would think, I would get some leeway there, but nooooooo because Serrin Roma just enjoys still ganging up on lil' ol' me," Atlantis was definitely asking for a beatdown there, he knew it and anyone nearby would figure that out especially since he was taller than Serrin too. "That's just cold, Serrin, it pierces my very core." For a split moment he had managed to keep up the act but then the corner of his lips was lifting up definitely showing overall that he definitely was having fun.
And then, that happened.
He pretended to keel over as he received a punch from Crystal. "Traitors..." He muttered under his breath and chuckled softly as he, just like Crystal looked in Andros' direction wondering what would happen there but his gaze ultimately turned towards Alisha and he looked at her for a moment, thoughtfully. "Getting that from Andros, it's no bother," Atlantis said, as after all he was used to it and he very well knew what laid under the surface of Andros' glaring exterior. "Well no need to expound further than that, right? They'll come around." Atlantis wasn't even sure if that was going to happen for he knew that Andros was the kind of man that clearly worked in complicated ways anyways, but not wanting to dwell on that subject for in the very end, it wasn't his job to deal with that, Atlantis just helped out the best way he could right here and right now...
That was to pass along the plates to the people so that they could either pass it or something.
Finally getting a hold of his plate, Atlantis looked at Elika who pretty much diverted the compliments to the ones that cooked only because she just made the salad, and not wanting to make a big deal out of that, especially when he knew Elika did not like the attention, Atlantis looked at Crystal after noticing that Serrin was heading towards the gardens and he smirked as an idea came to him. Put the plate back down on the table there. "Perhaps we still can be altogether and just mingle. Put one or two lounge chairs around the lounge area there and it might do the trick?" Doing a quick headcount, plus remembering that Ares was still inside, that made fifteen of them and twelve could fit in the area there, or sixteen but that wouldn't be comfortable. Yeah two choices, we squeeze ourselves between one another or choose comfort and have three on the lounge seat that I will be momentarily moving." Arching his eyebrow in the women's direction, mainly Elika, Lily and Crystal since they were technically the owner of this house and he didn't do things willy nilly just like that.

Ryan did observe that Elika seemed to have OCD but he did not show that he knew, he just pretended that he didn't know because in the very end anyways, who was he to judge? Plus he really didn't care, also he knew a few things about Elika, but that was just something he would never say out loud, out of respect and because she wasn't his patient anyways. More reasons for him to just keep on smiling and nodding when she assured him that everything was here. "Okay," Ryan said with another nod and looking back at Elika but also overhearing briefly his girlfriend making a few comments but what interested him the most was her comment about Ares. "But if you think of something else, I'll handle it, or just delegate that to my brother who is still inside and like Lily said takes his sweet time." Rolling his eyes playfully and chuckling, Ryan turned to look at Lily but also for a moment redirected his gaze towards Alisha.
"That's a ploy or something, but better yet, put his song on, watch him run out of there and yell at me from pulling that stunt." Shrugging nonchalantly, Ryan just had to go towards the sound system's controller that was conveniently by the bar, figures, it reminded him of that evening that not only he had first met a few people here, but it looked like he had interrupted something, but this time, Ryan knew he wasn't going to interrupt something and whatever Ares was doing besides changing, that could wait right?
Finally finding that song, Ryan conveniently played it and looked towards the lakehouse direction. "Paging Doctor Love!!! It is an emergency!!!" Laughing at his stupidity because it could only be qualified as such, that was one of those moments where he actually liked picking on his brother, it was either him or a certain Keith Drake, wherever the bloke might be, but another person was also missing...
Closing his eyes momentarily, Ryan snapped out of it after a little while and went to get his plate after looking at all the people there, and particularly Atlantis. "Dude, I am sure that we wouldn't even be squeezed in there, all of us together, it's not like we are Hutts here, and we have children, so, it's all good no?"

Delaana wasn't bothered by Elika's babble, she actually found it cute but not really wanting to bring that up, she solely started to rub Elika's hand with her thumb, soothingly, and even gave it a gentle squeeze while smiling warmly. Lana hoped that Elika would be able to relax but knowing what she knew, perhaps it would be a little difficult, so she'd keep trying. "I happen to believe that whatever you do, it does," Smiling coyly, Lana would know for having seen Elika's paintings and also the sketch she had made of Lana earlier, it was touching, and Lana was sure that it was how Elika saw Lana, but deep down, there was a big part of Lana that she preferred to remain buried which was why she was always mindful of her thoughts but also demeanor and overall expression.
Turning to look at her side when hearing someone speak to her, Lana smiled warmly and in a friendly manner to Ayodele. "Will that satisfy you, or did you actually want something in particular?" She asked softly knowing that the gratin, she only made that without asking around if that would be fine, actually she just did that on a whim, hopefully that would be okay, but thankfully Ayodele was going for the salad and some fruit. "Thank you, but," Looking playfully at Elika, Lana gave her hand a gentle squeeze. "Making a salad on your very own also means chef, my Shakal." But not really wanting to argue that point further because she knew that it really wasn't the best of time, Lana just moved along and nodded when Elika suggested the lounge area and even asked Ayodele and Franz to join them. "Please do." Lana reiterated softly until she turned to look at Atlantis and then Ryan who was summoning his twin in his own way, but also had engaged her boss' boyfriend.
Looking around and quickly making a head count, Lana grinned knowingly. "I do believe that we'd all fit in there..." But that wasn't her call and she looked at everyone else wondering what they preferred and if actually they did not mind sitting altogether there.

"You are very welcome." Crystal said to Serrin after having handed the plate, though Crystal was still amused by that exchange Serrin, Atlantis and herself just had, whatever that thing about toasts was, Crystal had no clue but knowing Atlantis that was his inside joke with the Twi'lek woman. Crystal scanned the area briefly and when her gaze landed on the Calmcacils in particular, she remembered something. Lifting her finger up for a moment, she turned around and headed towards the kitchen to get something from the fridge so that she could cook that on the grill. That only took a minute or two, but when that was done, she placed the cooked bacon onto a separate plate for the tailring Lokay, who had flown off earlier.
"And where exactly you would want to put the table in here?" Crystal asked Lily with an amused grin, sure if they did some changes here and there, they would be able to put in a table but originally, Crystal never thought she would have this much people here by the pool. Not that it was bothering her but at the same time, she just liked the layout of the pool overall plus the garden over there allowed her to meditate whenever she needed to. "Table that talk and bring it up again later, Baby Girl?" Grabbing two plates, the ones for Morgan and Lokay, Crystal walked towards the young girl and smiled warmly. "This is yours, and the bacon filled plate for your little companion. I hope that is enough for you both?" Crystal asked softly before turning around looking briefly over her shoulder seeing the two other plates there for both Aerandir and Michelle, that too she got, meat and side dishes there like all plates and handed that to Morgan's father and aunt. "If the way it was cooked wasn't what you wanted, blame the lawyer." Crystal said with an amused grin but judging from the look of the meats there on their plates, Lily had done it correctly.
"Would you like a refill of your beverages?" Crystal asked softly, she was about to go do that but Ryan's newest shenanigans prevented her from doing that. Placing her fingers on her forehead, Crystal shook her head with an amused smirk on the corner of her lips. "You do realize, Ryan, that you are asking for trouble, and like you have mentioned earlier, Ares did gain muscles." Shaking her head playfully again, Crystal looked briefly at Atlantis and shrugged slightly. "You are fussy, Atlantis, if they all say we'll fit then we should just get there towards the lounge area and eat there." With that said and done, Crystal waited to see if the Calmcacils needed refills and she went to take her plate and headed towards the garden there, to settle at the recess area hoping that everyone would join, and more in particular, hoping that Andros would stick around too and not just eat on the side.

It was a fact that Ares was taking his time to come back on the deck, but he had a very valid reason. He was checking on the cakes still in the fridge but now as he was walking back out, he heard that familiar song, only one person would be playing that on purpose. And he heard Ryan's voice. Stepping out finally, Ares looked right up at his brother with narrowed eyes. "I really don't like you, right now Solaris." Even though he had said that, Ares smiled at the memory that flashed right there on his mind, and it even got him to look at Ryan dubiously. "A proposito, dov'è Red?" (By the way, where is Red?) Ares asked but then again he also looked at the Vyridian brothers but also Franz, and it also appeared that Mace didn't appear to be around. "E Maestro Vos?" Because quite frankly he would also like to check up on her and see how her skin was doing, especially when he had fixed her facial scars with Ali's help.
Knowing though that she was one heck of a mystery, Ares lifted his hand and shook his head before heading over towards the bar to get a plate and serving himself some side dishes, but he made a pit stop at his lounge seat and dumped his pants there before looking at his fiancée. "You got everything, amore? Or need anything else before we head there..." He pointed out at the recess area there that really was comfortable, and it looked like everyone would be eating there, judging from what he had overheard from not only his brother but also his sister...
