Widened eyes met the lightwhip's assault on Raven Alora's frame, and a small hiss of pain streamed from her lips as the glowing strand rent her sleeve, over her upper right arm, leaving a dark score mark on her flesh. And she was still in a terrible position when it came to the tornado of red energy. Maybe someone with absolute precision could have used the force to slow down, or speed up their fall, in order to somehow get between the lightwhip and it's owner to finish there saber strike- but Raven was not one of them. So, as she fell closer toward the Rodian, her saber still poised to ram into him, she thrust out her left hand, palm opened, and released a surprisingly condensed force wave at the creature- careful not to let Sinina get caught up in the attack. She'd learned the tactic on Felucia- from the natives themselves, and while she was not hunting wild game- the principal still applied. At the very least, the force push would send her backwards, away from the lightwhip's spinning motion, and at best, it would send the Rodian careening in the opposite direction. They did not have time for this. Upon landing, Raven's brilliant yellow blade flourished, spinning back into position as she hesitated, only briefly, to get her bearings on where Sinina was. Her arm still hurt, but Raven was already preoccupied by the emotions of those others here- so caught up in the fight they were, and she easily became caught up with them. This would not last long. *Sin was making to dance in at him again, but his whirling blades made her think again on her choice of movements, this again wasn't expected. She smiles to herself, being trained by her mother to Firedance, she learned alot about how you read people from the way they fight, she felt like the more steps this dance took, the more she knew the Rodian. The more she knew Raven. Better then any of the crew members, even Loki. She felt Raven's action before it came to action, and steps back a few steps to account for the motions she guess the Rodian would need to take to compensate his stance.
She takes a last look at his spinning whip and draws up her lightsaber, she twirled around clockwise, bringing up her saber to catch the blades of the whip to curve them around herself and disturb their motions as little as she could, completing a second spin her crimson blade casting a glow upon her dark grey face. She did miscalculated the timing of the whip and thus caught a glancing blow to her right shoulder, thankfully being left-handed. She gracefully finished the second spin pushing the pain in her shoulder out of her mind, as she slashed the blade downward at the back of his shoulder in an attempt to remove the entire arm holding the whip. She spoke to him softly, her voice carrying an almost regal tone to it.*I do enjoy dancing with you... but we have places to be... just step aside...please? *A hiss, harmonized with the hiss of charred fabric and burnt flesh. A true dance needed musical accompaniment, did it not? But soon after her song came her answer to his latest maneuver, one that would interrupt his merry pirouette. He could redirect the wave of energy, but not before it would disrupt his whip's trajectory. Thinking on his feet, he adjusted his spin and extended his left hand to meet the wave, his right hand compensating as much as possible to keep the whip from entangling him. As the wave met his hand, he turned on his right foot and, in a sweeping motion, redirected the flow of the energy down and upward, forcing the strand to lift into the air and away from his own body.
But the Echani was attempting to be resourceful, taking the strands in her lightsaber and attempting to coil them around it, before aiming an attack at his shoulder. Derel, however, was not immobile. Flicking his hilt upward, he released it and pivoted on his left foot away from the strike, aiming a kick for the small of the Echani's back before somersaulting further away from her, reaching out to call the hilt of his whip back to his hand.
It was then that he winced. So familiar had he become with the sting of his whip that he had hardly noticed the smoldering-yet-shallow wound in his right hip. Now all three combatants had tasted his whip; the dancers had injured themselves. A mere surface injury was not enough to stop Derel from fighting; were these two worth anything, nor should it stop them.*

Strange. Did I miscalculate? Did I misjudge his potential? Or perhaps… Yes. That’s it. There it is. That’s just what I was looking for. Perhaps I underestimated you, boy, but we’re not in your arena anymore. I have an abomination to destroy.
Coming to a stop outside the circular frame was easy. Flexing the mechanical arm that lay guised beneath his symbiotic flesh, he wasted no time in becoming accustomed to the body he had so courteously arrested from his fledgling child. And it was not without merit as the brutish oaf of a beast came careening around the corner. Large, red and grotesque to the eyes was his form, yet different from the day so long ago on the grassy plains of Dantooine. He was smaller but no less muscular. Leaner and refined, and yet as he spoke Kanadeus could only surmise that his mind had not suffered the same abnormality. He was the same monster that he had once sought to eradicate from the Galaxy.
But this time… He was alone.
”I hardly see why my memory should serve, beast, when,“ he breathed through an almost serene expression, his lips hardly moving as he spoke but his voice enunciating in a way that seemed as though he were a ventriloquist of the speakers dispersed through the hall. ”I see the monster,“ he uttered seamlessly before he paused and glanced to the Zabrak’s left and right as if looking for something that clearly was not there.
”But I do not see the conscience… Or the fool.“ He finished with wicked smile on his face, stretching his lips into the aged but hardly decremented creases of his cheeks. There were no words to suffice the anticipation he had felt for the day, for he had not expected the monster of a creature standing before him to have lived as long as he had. For, while he were the greater terror, there was no question that Loki had merited his own demise a great many times over. Where one monster tread, one was not far behind.
Lifting his hand, and seemingly warping the fluid, oozing darkness seeping from it, he materialized a crimson and obsidian blade. One he had not held in a millennia, and one he had not desired to wield for at least three millennia more. It was a shame really, but this moment was far from ordinary.
A beast and a berserker. Perhaps the boy was right to linger after all, but, ”enough is enough… Now, Loki, you die.“

Loki growled within his chest, knowing well that it would give Kana more reason to refer to him as the beast. Loki disengaged his saber and clipped it back his belt as Kana’s sword formed. Loki’s eye flashed silver and yellow again, though being so close to Anna it happened in an almost flashing pattern. “If you recall..Or perhaps you do not know yet? Your son is dead, as is my brother…at my hands.” Loki said with a snarky smile.
Loki crouched and slammed his hand into the floor it seemed to sink in without effort. Under his breath he whispered ancient words, word’s Kana alone would understand the meaning of. Slowly, with seeming effort, Loki pulled from the, at first a winged black hilt, attached to a seamless, red blade. It was nearly six feet in length. And once it was free of the ground Loki brandished it, smiling at Kana. “Do you forget who killed you, monster?” Loki spat with venom. “Why can’t you just stay dead? Like your children, you cling to life like a leech, like a parasite, yes that’s what you are. Nothing more than a parasite…” Loki sneered and held the sword pointed down at an angle. “Once more, I shall end you, you will not stop me..No one will…” Loki said quietly as he shot force lightning from his hand and charged Kana, knowing full well what would happen if Kana’s sword touched him even a slight pass, he came in closing the gap in a few strides swinging his own sword at full strength for Kana’s neck.

Well- at least that gave Atton a workout. More drones buzzed around the area but non seemed to notice him as he used to force to run across the field now smoldering from rockets and any number of flammable things. And he was right. The lab wasn't too far away. In fact, the hangar should be in site- except there was a considerable cloud of drone activity around that position. if Atton wanted to get in that way, he'd have to run....really really fast.I wouldn't go that way... an almost oily dark voice resonated from behind the last laser turret. If Atton were to look in that direction, he'd see a figure, leisurely leaning against the metallic structure of a crumbling tower. Two gray eyes- seemingly devoid of life, yet holding an immeasurable cunning behind them, peered blankly at Atton, and a strangely unsettling smile pulled at gray lips. The man wasn't much different from the other, in height- but he was leaner. A short serrated knife rested gently in his thin pale fingers and he flipped it in the air absentmindedly as he spoke.I mean- unless you want to end up like them. He pointed the Tehk'la blade at a few guards laying...in pieces about the area. But if you're really interested- I might know of another way in. The Nagai's eyes roamed around the smoking field before setting his eyes back on the man, as if lightsabers didn't bother him anymore- even though he didn't have one. *Atton stopped when he he heard the voice, and he immediately got a bad feeling upon seeing the Nagai standing there. He had even less reason to trust the man when he revealed that he just might know another way into the lab. Well anyone who wasn't born yesterday would know that this was obviously a trap.
Atton just heaved a sigh.*"Sure you do. And I just suppose you're going to show me out of the goodness of your heart." *He snorted derisively.*"Yeah I'm not buying it." *There was no way Atton was just going to follow this guy and get a knife in the back for his troubles. Then again, maybe he was telling the truth and he really did know a way in.
He wasn't taking any chances.*"Look, I'm really busy here and it's been a rough day. So why don't you just go slink into whatever dark corner you crawled out of and let me be on my way?"

Farris was back to his Dr Noble self as he sprinted down the hall. Something had happened. First. He could not locate Thea- and secondly- something drastic had happened to the Array, or, to Anna. His foot steps slowed though as he heard others in the hall behind him. Quickly, the Polydroxol turned and blinked a few times at Adieumus. A thin smile came to his face. Glad to see you took my advice. I hope he wasn't too much of a challenge for you. Now- we must hurry. Something happened to - Farris blinked, his eyes falling to the bloody hand of the Arkanian. Something was off. Adieumus had a lightsaber. Either he was unable to control his rage at his former adversary (Somewhat likely) or, the Array's vision had, indeed, come true. Though- if that was indeed Arkoth's blood, and he was dead, who had triggered Adieumus? Perhaps he was just being paranoid. Clearing his throat, he finished his sentence.Anna- I fear something's happened to Anna. This way. He motioned with his hand and turned around again.Remove him. He's in our way.The Array's automated voice echoed down the hall, clearly for Adieumus to hear.Noble blinked rapidly. The Array was the source for triggering Adieumus? Something was seriously wrong. It's voice lacked something- something...living. The Array was acting on it's own, without Anna's biological part...so- what had become of the Seer, the real reason he was here.
The Polydroxal did not have time to consider that she may, very well be dead. He did not have time to ask what had happened, or to haggle over life and death with The Array. Without another word, Noble turned and ran, as quickly as he could from the mentally controlled Arkanian. he wasn't a coward- but he wasn't an idiot either. "And where do you think YOU are going, exactly, Doctor Noble?" Adi hadn't even =tried= to keep up with Farris, but the order had been given, and the Arkanian had used force enhanced speed to propel himself so rapidly that he had passed the shapeshifter, and had time to turn around to face the man. Somewhere, deep in the recesses of Adieumus' psyche, he knew that what he was doing was wrong....but he truthfully could not stop his body from obeying every command that was handed down from the Array. Basically, who he was had been locked up tight in his mind, with someone else in the driver's seat. He could see, hear, and feel everything...but try as he might, he just couldn't stop his body from doing exactly what it wanted to do. His voice, even, was speaking for him....but he was most certainly not the one putting those words in his mouth. It was as if Adi were spectating in his own body. A strange version of Matango's voice began to now speak."The subject has been re-integrated into the Array, and is operating at one hundred percent. You need not worry yourself, Doctor. All is again well." As he spoke, he again began building up power...this time, in his right hand. He was actually screaming in his own mind, trying to will his body to listen to him...but it would not. He was now straining to fight the urge to drive his hand through yet another person's chest, and it was proving nearly impossible. However, even though every part of his mind was trying to kill Farris, Adi somehow managed to fight hard enough to cause his body to launch a hard force push at the other man's torso. Sure, it would probably do some damage....but it would surely beat getting a heart ripped out.
That was discovery number one. While he may not be able to completely control this berserker rage, Adi could at least push it in a less deadly direction. At least -something- was going right. As Farris sailed down the hallway in the complete opposite direction, Matango could feel Loki, and another man. At first, it almost appeared as if it were Antidar...but something was -really- off. The only time he had felt that power was when he had been sucked into his friend's mind on Yavin. If Loki was there, it was a pretty sure bet that it was also where Anna was as well. Luckily enough, the control on his mind thought the same thing....even if for a totally different purpose.
They were only a few corridors away, and it took Adi less than a minute to get there. He stayed back for now, all parts of him but the one locked away wanting to see the death of both of these men. Those parts knew that it would be far easier to take out one or both if they engaged one another. Again, Adi was trying his absolute hardest to get his body to move, to intervene before these guys killed each other, but it was all for naught...
He would just have to sit, and watch this unfold...for now.

E`yame started thinking of the repulsors on the backpack, she imagined them turning on and lifting her up. It responded doing what she wanted it to do. She then checked both wings, making sure they moved the way they were supposed to. Smiling from ear to ear, she remembered her father and her smile faded and her face hardened. Lowering herself down onto the ramp, she put the wings away and took a few steps to the end of the ramp. Looking down, she could just make out the shape of the building. Turning herself around, she looked back at the ship, threw her arms out, and fell backwards.
Eya angled her body, falling head first. She let herself gain speed. The fall felt freeing to her, like she could do this for ages. When she reached the right altitude, She thought of her wings snapping out to slow her down, they reacted just like they were supposed to. She could see the Hanger in her view and angled her body to go right through the open door. It was chaos, people fighting everywhere. There were 5 droids standing right inside the door. They all seemed to turn to her at once and open fire. She weaved her way around, avoiding getting hit. Landing, she spun and aimed her hands at them, blasting two of them, turning them into metal heaps on the floor. Using the repulsors on the backpack, she lifted off again, weaving left and right to avoid more shots. Firing her repulsor at another droid, she turned, using her wings, not even waiting to watch it drop.
"Three down, two more to go."
Gliding off to the side, she spotted them. They were aiming right at her. She started weaving again, trying to get closer to them, so that she didn't hit anyone else. Suddenly she felt pain on her right shoulder. Looking down at it, she was barely grazed. She would have to tend to it later, but it severely pissed her off. She landed in front of them, and aimed her repulsors at them, destroying them. After they were taken care of, she took back up to the air, looking down for anymore droids. She knew there had to be more but couldn't see any at this moment. She saw someone pulling a blaster pistol and aiming it at Raven's back. She landed behind Raven and thought of throwing her wings in front of her body and couldn't help the cocky smile when they did what they were told. She had heard the blaster bolt hit off the wings and moved the wings out of her way. She raised her hand, and used a repulsor on the person that fired, killing them instantly.
"Shooting someone with their back turned? Lame!"

Alora flourished her saber, about to lunge at the somewhat exposed Rodian as he reached out for his whip again. But something stopped her. A pin prick in the force, an alarm sounded in the back of her mind and she began to turn, just as she heard the chinging sound of blaster fire on metal. Her turning motion stopped as she heard a familiar voice- the one of E'yame Matango, Adieumus's daughter. Her mind rebounded to the flare of force energy and the Zabrak's message ringing in her ear. E'yame's father was alive- but, as Alora searched for him, she found a stabbing wall of protective code.
The Jedi Master jolted suddenly and blinked up at E'yame with a worried expression. E'yame, your father's alive, but he needs your help, badly. Go find him- but use caution...he may not be the Adieumus you know. We'll join you shortly.
She turned away from the girl and eyed the Rodian, who now seemed in a stance once more. Raven narrowed her eyes, having missed her opening. She spoke once more to E'yame. And- thanks... don't take any unnecessary risks ok?
As if to accent her point, the Jedi pushed off her foot and took off toward the Rodian. However, about three forths of the way there, she turned, using the force to guide her footsteps as they raced up the right wall, alongside her adversary. Reaching the top of the wall, she kicked off the ceiling and allowed her body to roll, falling behind the Rodian's back and slashing downward to drive her saber through him.
Once she hit the ground, she buckled her left leg and rolled to the side, pushing off the floor with her left hand to continue into a spin that would send her past the Rodian once again- and in her passing, she swept her saber toward him, attempting to catch him cleanly in the side.
She would- if not interrupted,- end up standing in front of the Knight, with her saber thrusting straight at the Rodian's center. Her eyes were alive with the same strange dancing fire burning in the other two's eyes. Her emotions danced in perfect time with theirs. They wanted to dance.
So did she.

*Sinina bites her lip again, focused on the task at hand. She knew Raven would be good, but fighting along side her, gave her a better understanding of the Jedi, and the Rodian, then she had of anyone else in the crew. They way they fought spoke to her deeper then any words had. She winced as they kick hits her in the small of her back, but as gracefully as she could, she used it to roll forwards and away from him, just as Raven burst forward with an attack. She'd heard stories of Ataru users but this was her first firsthand sighting.
She spins back around, and managed to position herself between in a line of sight with Raven and Eya. Raven had shown her ability, Eya had a mission of family importance. Loki. Antidar. Adi. Everyone had their parts to play, Sin looked up to them all, she felt the overwhelming urge to prove herself. She bit her lip hard enough to draw blood, mustering what force she could to push eya and raven down the hall they had planned to go down. And stepped down her foot hard, flexing her toe and released the stiletto of her left heel. She then flips towards the Rodian, at the peek of her flip she flexed her toe on the other foot to send the right stiletto at the Rodian, once it got close, both toes flex and two explosions go off, one blocking the path between Raven and Sin, the other at where the Rodian had moved to. She drew her westar again, firing a quick two shots at him, and runs forward again, her lightsaber in her left hand ready to strike again. She really hoped the explosion, her lightsaber, and her blaster could break through the surprisingly defensible lightwhip wielder. His approach to lightwhips nothing like that of her mothers. She spoke quickly into the comm not wanting to lose focus for long. Slow him down... She hoped she was as up to the task as she tried to project she was, the last thing she needed was Raven sensing any doubt. She hide it in the deepest vault.*
Raven... Eya... I apologize.. but your missions are too important to be hung up here... GO! Get them. I'll slow him down.

Noble paused as he saw the Arkanian suddenly before him. His eyes did not widen, and indeed, his expression did not change. Being the perfect shapeshifter that he was- his inner emotions could only interact with his external appearance, only if he wanted it to. So- while the Polydroxal was freaking out in his mind, his expression remained absolutely flat lined.
Adieumus. Listen, this is not who you are. THINK!
He shouted his absolutely compelling words just as the former Jedi thrust a huge amount of force at him. The polydroxol's body contorted and even flattened out a bit, as he bent backwards in the air and did an impossible back flip, landing cleanly on his feet. After a few breaths to fill his humanoid shape out again, he cast his eyes around quickly, seeing that Adieumus had gone. Gritting his teeth he turned and went the other direction. Come on Anna- I thought we had a bond or something. Cut me some slack. He muttered. He'd have to go around the back way, in order to get to the Array's core- if, he considered, she'd let him anywhere near her.
Adi.... For a brief moment, the voice had a very organic quality about it, as it echoed within Adieumus's mind. Though the next time it spoke to him- it was more mechanical, the lifelike quality still resonated within it, as if it's sentient mind had returned. The Array was alive again.
Do not engage them. Their own distracted struggles will be their undoing. Others are soon coming. You will defend me. They must not enter.
The demand in her tone was almost hateful, almost angry. Anna had been made extremely vulnerable, just a few minutes ago, and her confused agonized fear, once linked back into The Array, had drastically changed its programming. It now had evolved into an autonomous, paranoid, machine with the power of the force backing it. And it could see the future again too....
::Outside (ATTON)
Well that's rather rude...
The Nagai grumbled. He shook his head and raised his eyebrows as the other spoke of him showing the way out of the goodness of his heart. The creature snickered.
I have no goodness in my heart. I don't give out information for free, but I will get you into the lab, if you help me out with something. He smiled assuredly, but he wasn't very good at pulling off assurance very well. Don't worry. It's just a little something. I just need some extra hands to- procure something in the lab- so we're both headed to the same place anyway. His smile attempted to become more genuine, but it would probably fail. What do you say?
Lower level, (Dominic/ Kadish/ Thea)::
The knight was indeed, breathing just a bit heavier as he watched Dominic move and drop both Thea and his weapon. The man's comments only brought a thin smirk to Kadish' face and he nodded. Oh- It hurts, believe me. His eyes focused on Dominic for but a moment before drifting, first to Thea, then to the Agent's weapon. But you know that darkside trick of using your pain to make you more powerful? I will not die today! Two of his fingers flinched, and Thea's unconscious body was pulled toward him. Her body stopped, just before Kadish, and the Knight's blade hovered inches from the girl's chest.
But others will. I don't sense a lot of concern for her, in you. So- I'm curious.
His smile widened ever so slightly. Just how dark did the Sith make you?

Hardly as inventive as the boy, but I admit to his tenacity. His death will be a shame, his potential surpasses even my expectations. Perhaps...
The thoughts were hardly enough to pass the time through all of Loki's speech and maintain himself enough time to not notice the sudden exertion of energy on the part of the much more grotesque darksider. Paying little heed to the large, almost unreasonably long, blade Kanadeus shifted the blade about in the hand he had summoned it in. The arm would do, but the blade would not suffice to it's maximum in such a useless render of bionics and fragmented circuits. It would not suffice and as such it would have to be tended to accordingly. Flexing the arm and turning it to face upward, Kanadeus allowed the darkness that manifested his false flesh to penetrate the metallic form of the arm and probe it. An action that was quickly rendered pointless as the larger being across from him had come to the close of his arguments. Words that could only suffice to be one last accommodation to his current predicament.
”Xanadeus?' He muttered under his breath as he shifted the blade in his hand and held it aloft to his side while the beast let the blade come to rest at an angle towards the floor.
”Hahahahaha, oh how the fool you are. Fitting for an abomination.“ He mused to himself as the Zabrak attacked, first with lightning that he easily deflected with a wave of his palm then with the full weight of his power in one single blow from his sword, a blow he knew was intended to kill but one that he knew would merely stand as a test for his momentary resolution. Lifting his arm and twisting the wrist to point the blade downward, Kanadeus brought his blade up under the longer blade. What could be heard as the blade moved into a combative stance was a sharp, earsplitting wail that went utterly silent upon contact with the Zabrak's sword. It was as if something inside the blade, or the blade itself, had a will of it's own. A will that could not act of it's own accord, silenced by the desire for combat from the man who's hand gripped it's hilt.
It was then upon gaining his footing, with the soundless clash of what should have been metal blades, that Kanadeus found his opportunity. Taking a step back to compensate for the weight of the Zabrak, and a pulsing energy he could feel from the wellspring that was his son's connection to the Force, he allowed for the blade to near him for a brief moment before he sidestepped to blindingly his left. A soundless slide of his blade under the Zabrak's, twisting his wrist to compensate for the movement, he stopped to the Zabrak's right and raised his free hand then did nothing.
”I'm sure your brother misses you, Loki. Perhaps you should join him?“ The words were not surmised from the mouth of a face with expression, but rather from the face of a man with the expression of icy resolve. The expression of a warrior contrast to the sorcerer that had fought the beast on Dantooine. Drawing in a breath and gritting his teeth he twisted his palm sideways, gripped his fingers into a half fist and, with an energy he could only propagate from his son's own ability, a small orb of pure dark side matter began to form. It was a fitting way to put the beast to his death. To put down a wild dog, viciously tame a lone wolf. But it was cruel and effective. If he could not end this beast's life through traditional means he would erase his very matter from the galaxy.
Or...
The Berserker has arrived. It was only a matter of time... The aura was unmistakeable, the presence an unadulterated, picturesque flow of the Force. And it would do for the removal of the pest that stood before him. Closing his palm, pulling the energy he had begun to form in his hand, he instead cloaked it about his hand and brought it to grip the hilt of the blade. A sudden draw began to pull on him, one he knew he could not afford to maintain, and he gave a quick shove that the Zabrak would feel. Just enough to thrust the Zabrak towards the man who had just joined them. Just enough to put this conflict in a much more desirable direction. The abomination's death would have to wait for another day. In a slow almost penetrating hiss, Kanadeus sent words to Adeiumus' mind. <<Now you are ready!>>

The Array gave her orders, and Adi just nodded silently. He watched the two in their 'warmups', both testing the other's capability fairly lightly. What was truly odd, however, was that Loki was engaging Antidar in the first place. What was going on? And Antidar didn't have a son, or brother....who the hell was Loki talking about? It was then that Adi saw that, while it LOOKED like it was Antidar initially, it was not, apparently...These thoughts were racing in his mind as Loki was pushed back by his frienemy, and Adi saw his moment to strike. While it may have appeared at first that he was disobeying an order, it was merely interpreting it, and acting upon a presented opportunity.
::Negative. I see a better opportunity to ensure your orders will be fulfilled.::
Loki had been sent backward, sliding against the hard tile floor of the hallway, and stopping beside Adi, to the Arkanian's right. Reaching to grab the silver hilt from his hip, Adi snatched it from the hook and loop fastener holding it in place with his right hand, and locked eyes with Antidar. Something felt very different, yet VERY familiar....Antidar was most certainly not himself, not just in looks, and actions, but in pretty much everything else. Then again, neither was Matango, if truth be told. Neither of these men had any idea about that, though. As if to put his hand on Loki's back, Adi raised his arm. Instead of an open-palm pat, to show the Zabrak that they were on the same team, Adi instead put the emitter end of his saber against a perfectly-shaped hole on the large Zabrak's back, pressing the trigger....
...And sent the black blade straight into Loki's back, through his heart, and out the front of his chest.
From within his mental prison, Adi watched the events unfold. His body was grinning wickedly at Antidar, but inside his mind, the 'real' Adieumus was horrified at what he had just done. He was nearly powerless to stop it from happening. He fought as hard as he could, but to no avail yet again. A pang of extreme sadness filled the tiny space that Adi was locked up in as he watched the saber retract into it's hilt. Loki dropped to his knees, a look of bewilderment at being stabbed in the back by who he thought was a true friend as he collapsed to the ground, and fell silent.
"<<Now you are ready!>>"
Well of course he was....Right now, Adieumus Matango was the perfect killing machine. Years upon years of training in combat arts, along with the Force had made him one of the most formidable opponents in the galaxy, and now, he was without anything holding him back, except The Array...and she was simply pulling the strings. The one really calling the shots was every part of Adi that had been trained to maim, kill, and destroy....simply being guided by a machine with a very strong sense of self-preservation...and an ego to boot.
Now, he simply waited for Antidar to make a move. That blade was giving off a very unsettling vibe...and even the controlled Adi knew that he probably shouldn't be trying to touch it. He needed to keep away from it, and strike quickly, before the other man had a chance to bring his superior force knowledge to bear. If it stayed as physical combat, Matango would have a chance. If it went to a full-on force battle, Adi was ill equipped to deal with someone on Antidar's level...or whoever was controlling his body. He just had to wait. Antidar was sure to get aggressive, as he always did, and the Arkanian could settle into a counterstrike pattern, which was the goal anyway...it was what he was best at.
Against someone like Antidar, you had to ensure you played to your strengths, and make sure he couldn't do the same.

Now that was just unfair. Smart, but unfair. But in war, was there really any rules or boundaries? Dominion scoffed as the Knight held Thea hostage. He straightened up. "Yeah, I know every trick in the book. And you're right. I have little concern for her. I was just going to torture her for information about this place, but the Zabrak seemed keen on being somewhat friendly towards me. Maybe he will know more than her." He stated as he went back to his launcher, picking it up and holding it at his hip with both hands. He was sure to keep an eye on the Knight. With only hand hand that was occupied with Thea, he could only do so much, so Dominion wasn't worried about him doing any more tricks.
"Now. Do you know what this trick is? It's called a launched grenade. Slice it, dodge it, it will still explode the second it hits something. Like that wall behind you. And with that girl in the way or not, you're going to die from the blast radius. Try to grab it? Well, this thing travels faster than any energy blast from any weapon, and explosives come with remote detonators. Just like the ones all over your base. You retreat into the building? Fine, get buried."
He took a step forward, then another, gauging him very carefully. If he made any lethal strike on Thea during any of this, the trigger would be pulled and he would be blown apart. "I would still rather avoid killing her, which is why you still feel the life of the force around you. Do you see where you stand? You have no options. You have no safe place to go. This, is how dark the Sith made me. Even without the force, you're as light as a Jedi compared to me. So Let. Her. Go."

This is becoming exhausting.
A push, the sound of feet sliding along metal and suddenly nothing was as it seemed. In the time he had taken to straighten himself and reclaim his composure, what he had expected to happen came to pass. Kanadeus watched with an almost sick glee as the black blade pierced up through the Zabrak's chest. Though the look on his face, and the end result were undesired, the vision of the Zabrak collapsing to his knees, and subsequently to the floor in a heap, was beyond comprehension. Though he had not been the one to deal the killing blow, there was a victory to be had in pushing the monster to his demise. The irony of the act was not lost on Kanadeus and, as he met the gaze of the silent Arkanian, he could feel a twinge of vigor that he had not felt in millennium. As a warrior he knew what came next, as a hunter he knew how to go about it and as a monster himself he knew he could handle whatever this slated man could bring to him across that metallic floor. But first, he would have to force his hand.
”It would seem my son was wrong about you. At least for now..." He breathed, chiding the man across from him as he lowered the blade he held in his hand, having freed his flesh hand from it, and moved in a curved trajectory to put himself between the man and the large door. Perhaps it was a gamble, and this was not the directive of the machine within, but as the so called 'Ariela' continued to chirp: The Array was the end game. Lifting his sword in front of him and then slashing it through the air, letting the shrill wail be heard until it came to rest near his side, he knew that it was only a matter of time before he would receive his just reward. He was a patient man, but not without limit. For all her intelligence and knowledge, the female voice in his ear was good at spewing gibberish as well. What little solace he found was her sudden silence. As deafening as the sound his sword made as it's tip slowly sank an inch into the ground.
”It's time to show me if you are the man my son believes you to be, boy.“ He hissed as he shifted his stance so he was turned with his left side forward. One motion after the other was all it took to bring his sword to bear in the direction of his opponent. He raised it, slowly at first and then with an almost inhumanly fast draw, towards the man's face though from a seemingly absurd distance. However as the blade rose halfway into it's trajectory, moving gracefully and weightlessly, the blade's tip shot out in extension until it was long enough that it could cleave Adieumus' head in two. Perhaps now, the man would show his talent. If he did not, his death would be another claimed.
Pathetic...

She turned away from the girl and eyed the Rodian, who now seemed in a stance once more. Raven narrowed her eyes, having missed her opening. She spoke once more to E'yame.And- thanks... don't take any unnecessary risks ok?
She hide it in the deepest vault.*Raven... Eya... I apologize.. but your missions are too important to be hung up here... GO! Get them. I'll slow him down. *A third combatant had made herself known, outfitted in what had to be the most ridiculous device Derel had ever seen. All the same, if the scene were becoming crowded, he may need to reconsider calling for additional dancers or bowing out of this performance; three partners was too many, especially with this injury. But fortunately for him, the diminutive Jedi called her off, urging her to seek her father. Fair, then; all the same, Derel would need to bring this exhibition closer to the final bow.
The Jedi seemed eager to oblige, making a lunge for the Rodian. He drew back his whip but did not lash out; he knew better than to expect her to make a simple charge. And indeed, she diverted, attempting to use the wall to her advantage and flip over him. His large eyes widened for the briefest of moments, but he narrowly ceased his lash towards her trajectory; he'd leave himself perfectly exposed. Instead he performed an aerial cartwheel out of the way of her downward assault, whip curling after him in a wide arc, and attempted to put the pain his hip out of his mind as he landed in a slight crouch.
Something stung fiercely, but his limbs were still attached. The attack must have nicked him, his whip also merely swatted to the ground. An upward flick of his wrist was followed by an opposite downward flick as Derel made to send a wave through the whip's length, in an attempt to deter her further movements, before he drew his hand in a large motion across his body, lashing out in front of him as she attempted to maneuver in front of him before backflipping away.
His hip was bothering him greatly. He needed to make short work of this, or, worst-case scenario, call for Soku and hold out until the other Knight of Ren could arrive. That was when his antennae twitched, sensing the objects hurtling towards him. His left hand came up, attempting to catch whatever flew at him and redirect them, but he had misjudged their locations. The two small explosions went off, taking the Rodian off-guard and sending him sprawling forward, correcting his momentum and flicking his wrist at the last moment to avoid maiming himself as he again landed in pain on his feet.
Quickly his left hand reached for his antenna, where he discovered part of his antenna was missing. No... Rodian's used their antennae to sense vibrations; it was partially how he had become so proficient at the lightwhip and avoiding unseen attacks. But with one injured...
His hand shot up again, allowing the Force to guide him as the pistol was fired again. This time, he absorbed the energy into his being, directing it towards his injuries, easing the pain somewhat. He looked to see the Echani charging once more, and again his whip flew through the corridor in a diagonal lash. Now he was angry. His temporary healing would have to hold out long enough. His antenna could be replaced, but he would leave his mark on those who dared blemish him.*

Kadish peered down at the unconscious girl for a moment before watching the Agent keenly. He listened to Dominic's words, and sighed slightly.
A compelling speech. but I do not fear death. The Array has told me, my death will not come on me here. You cannot end me.
His orange blade slipped with a hiss back into its hilt, and with a solemnity, the Knight dropped it on the ground. His eyes traveled to the remainder of his arm and narrowed. She didn't say anything about dismemberment though. He muttered, before lifting his hand, as if in surrender. Perhaps the way I survive this unfortunate encounter is simply by yielding the fight to you, considering you have me at a very compelling, check mate.
His fingers splayed and he extended his hand toward Dominic with a sudden concentrated expression. Or maybe- I am victorious. He hissed. The force rippled through his arm but, rather than manifesting itself in the form of a push or pull, it shot sharply toward the Agent's mind. Long spears of dark unseen energy would assault Dominic's mind relentlessly, either attempting to force confusion, or out right paralysis. Kadish was absolutely no stranger to the telepathic arts. Indeed- he focused on them quite vigorously. Dominic may be able to sense the force and predict what was happening around him- but could he combat an all out assault of a mental presence like the Knight's?
Noble's quick strides took him to his favored back door to the inner chamber. He hesitated there when the Array began speaking to him.
You cannot hope to reach me. All entry points are sealed by alternating lock sequences.
Yea- I know. Noble said with a smug smile. That's why this door isn't hooked up to anything but a metal hinge and a locked door knob. Opening his hand, a Key surfaced in his palm, and the Polydroxol began opening the door.
Every door is hooked up to the security matrix. The Array continued
Kids and their electronics... Noble muttered as he opened the door and looked inside. fluid still puddled on the floor, but his eyes were drawn upward as every ceiling turret snapped to his position. The doctor lifted his hands and entered the room with a sigh. Are you really going to kill me like this? Look at yourself. Your organic body is in horrible shape. He said, motioning to the capsule Anna was hanging in. Each side of her head had been battered quite badly by her frantic thrashing, and blood had started to tent the white liquid a light crimson. Will you at least allow me to treat you? Please? You're going to die like this if I can't stabilize your bleeding. The ceiling turrets stopped their movements, retracting back into the ceiling. Noble sighed and walked over to the capsule, starting to punch commands into the system to filter the fluid and remove the contaminated fluid.
My injuries were sustained during your absence. The Array, almost chided. If you attempt to shut down any programs, I will stop you.
Yes, yes I know. I know, and I'm so sorry. I should never have left you- not with this facility in such danger.. Noble said with remorse. He signaled the mechanical arms to lower a tube down into the capsule, and then began administering antibiotics and bacta spores into the liquid to heal the injuries she had sustained. Placing his hand on the glass he shook his head with a sigh. Who did this to you? he whispered, almost darkly.
The entity is an anomaly, his identity cannot be confirmed at this time. The Array responded, seemingly off guard toward the Doctor, even though she had tried to kill him twice. He disconnected the biological component of The Array, without proper release protocols. This damaged the system significantly. It cannot be allowed again. The firm, almost monotone voice became strangely compelled as it finished. I will never be made that vulnerable again.
Argon Noble paused, considering for a moment before looking at Anna and shaking his head. Some of the wounds were already starting to heal, so he was thankful for that, but her logic was flawed. You do realize this facility will be destroyed in a matter of hours, right? He offered grimly. If you stay here, you'll end up flattened with everything else. Why don't you release the biological component- so at least that part of you can continue?
That is impossible. The Array can only operate on minimal capacity without the biological component. It responded quickly, almost defensibly. I am already preparing to start disabling the explosives before the allotted time of their detonation. Why do you think I directed Agent Dominic Bora, on where to place them? The Array almost sounded smug, if a computer could. You have completed your medical work. You must leave this facility before you become a security risk.
Noble ran a hand over his face and sighed. Can I stay here, with you? I promise I won't tamper with any systems unless necessary to keep you safe. I just- don't want to leave you again, in case...something else happens, like last time. He said, with deep conviction. If you say no- I'll still stand here, and you can shoot me to death. But I'm not leaving your side again. There's very powerful forces outside that door, and they will eventually get in here. They will eventually take down your bodyguard I know is posted there. Just consider me a second line of defense.
You may remain. The Array responded, and then fell silent.
Dr Noble sighed and leaned against the Capsule, closing his eyes and lowering his head. Don't worry Anna- I'm not going anywhere. You're not alone.
Within Adieumus' mind, the Array's voice spoke. This being is of little substance. Resist him. Do not let yourself falter. He will not be apart of this realm much longer.

Dom smirked once more, lowering his weapon, taking his finger off of the trigger and letting his left hand fall to his side. "Now, step awa-" And that's when the Knight lowered his remaining arm, force threading out to Dominion. The Knight's mind entered his, trying to cripple him and ruin him from the inside out. He had been trained against force mind manipulation, but most for the purpose of holding information. Getting completely screwed in the head wasn't something he had been taught to fight against, but he was prepared in the basic sort of terms.
He should have known something like this would come. All the other Jedi and Ren Dominion took down tried roughly the same thing if they lived long enough. Perhaps just the strange environment and everything that happened today got him off his game.
The Agent's mind was filled with pain as he fought back against the dark energies that shot at him. He reflexively dropped his launcher and grabbed his head, falling to his knees. He knew what this was now. He was trying to break his mind! Instead of infiltrate the fortress of a mind Dominion had, the Knight was just trying to wipe the whole thing out. He gasped out in pain, holding himself up on his left hand.
His vision was getting blurry, and he tore his eyes away from the Knight, looking at the floor of the lab, at the... The handgun he dropped. From the guard he took down earlier. His vision was getting darker around the edges, and he snapped for it. His left hand shot out and grabbed the gun. With no support, the Agent fell on his side as he pointed his slugthrower firearm up at Kadish. He pulled the trigger, and pulled and pulled and pulled, firing up at Kadish relentlessly as his vision kept fading to black, screaming from the pain.

Ah, the Rodian was so acrobatic! He would not let her get behind him. With a thin smile on her face at his proficiency, the Jedi leaped to the side in order to dodge his rippling light whip as its wave cast toward her. But as she began her last attack on the Knight, his quick horizontal sweep sent the red energy whip lashing toward her, carving an angry line in the middle of her shirt, and leaving a hot red slash across part of her chest, where the tip had made contact with her flesh.
Raven clinched her teeth as the sting lanced through her mind, but before she had a chance to really compensate, the force hit her- again, from an ally, and she was sent off toward Adieumus' daughter. She landed on her feet, poised, just in time to hear two explosions and see Sinina engaging a now, very angry Rodian- alone. Raven could feel the injured creature's rage building before her, but also a tumult of force energy raging just below her feet. This Rodian was a distraction and nothing more. They had other places to be.
Common Sinina- we've bothered him enough.
The Jedi master called, spinning her saber and ramming it into the floor below her feet. With little resistance, she carved a large circle in the floor and watched as the metal floor fell away, clashing on the surface beneath them.
It's time to go!
She called to both the Echani and Eya, as Raven Alora leaped down to the first level of the lab, landing in a crouch and moving swiftly to the side, in order to avoid anyone else from landing ontop of her. She stood, cautiously assessing her situation. She'd landed just in time to see the tall figure, practically oozing with darkside energy, shove Loki toward Adieumus. Perhaps the two were fighting this new- strangely dark presence. But that was odd. Raven had not felt such a nexus of dark energy upon arriving, so where had the being come from?
Regardless, she was now here to help, the previous wound of the lightwhip completely forgotten as she readied herself for yet another adversary. She cast her eyes over to the Zabrak, as if to tell him it would be alright. Others were falling from the sky soon, and this creature would be hopelessly outnumbered.
And then, the unthinkable happened.
The force spiked, and her empathy went haywire as it began picking up massive emotional anomalies. But it was far too late, as the current picture of current events was shattered in Raven's mind by a black blade shooting out from Loki's chest, and the strangely compliant form of Adieumus Matango standing behind his latest victim's sinking form.
Raven brought a hand to her chest and caught her breath as her eyes darted from Loki's body, to Adi's almost threatening countenance; then finally, to the malevolent being standing there, like a cold volcano just waiting to erupt and cover the place with dark ash. Blinking a few times, she centered herself again, pushing the feeling of yet another shattered life force out of her mind. She wasn't quite sure what emotion would visit her upon seeing Adieumus alive again, anger at being so careless- relief at his continued existence, but not utter disbelief and strange paranoia.
And this time- she felt a strange finality to Loki's spark, which had been so cruelly blown out, by a friend. Perhaps she had misjudged the Zabrak? Maybe he had become a danger to the mission? Adieumus had to have a reason for his actions, but she felt an inner struggle within the Arkanian. A battled waged there, between two desires, and the one familiar as Adieumus- was loosing.
This other- the dark presence- might have sway over him? But the battling presence within Adi's mind did not feel particularly dark- as much as it felt- clinical? with a very limited reach of emotions. Its main concern was its own safety. And it made sense.
The Array was protecting itself. Obviously it would see Loki as a threat. But Raven's train of thought was shattered as the dark being made an attack- with a very unsettling weapon, at Adieumus, and whether or not he was himself- Raven would defend him.
She let the grief of what had happened to Anna wash over her, coupled with such a savage attack on Loki- by a trusted ally, and the desire to protect the rest of the crew from such an ill wanted fate. No one else would die here. Raven Alora would not allow it. The negative energy spiraled within the Jedi master until it became simple pure determination, and that caused a rather potent surge of light energy to ignite within Raven's diminutive frame. Her small brown eyes suddenly blazed with white gold light, and she extended her left hand toward the dark presence. Small bursts of radiant energy escaped from her fingertips as she spoke in a commanding tone.
Step away from my friend.

*Sin had felt impressed with how her attack had gone, she felt it worked far better then she expected, she looked up at the Rodian as he examined himself, even as the thrum of the dance rang through her ears, she stopped shot of her charge as she heard Raven call for her to leave the Rodian be. She frowned as she looked back at Raven, then at the Rodian. She sighs deeply, she knew Raven was right... They didn't have the time for this. A low growl emanated from her throat as she really wanted to finish this and prove herself capable. Against her personal wanting, she pulls herself from the dance, dashing at the hole Raven made and flipping gracefully into it. She lands softly, it felt weird without her heels.
She turns to face the group behind her as she came down facing the wrong way, and just as she completed her turn, she sees Loki, and suddenly a black blade protruding through him. Everything went blank, it was like time slowed to a crawl as she watched the sinking form of Loki. This couldn't be happening. Suddenly she felt hit by a clarity she'd never felt before, and she was no longer in the hallway. She was again in the past, looking up at Loki from within his massive arms, a small child. The vision felt as real as if she'd traveled back in time to her childhood. Reliving every moment she'd seen the Zabrak, in an instant, life flashed in front of her eyes. Sure the man had killed her father, but if he hadn't, her father would have killed her mother. She couldn't believe her last words to him were to be the worst of Mandalorian Insults as she had stormed from the ship, the man that had saved her life more then once.
As the visions ended, the clarity disappeared. She was back standing in the hallway. Her body felt numb. Cold. Dead. Again the runes started to appear, growing brighter then they had during the jump. They began to blaze upon her dark skin, it felt like her cold skin burst into flame. Her vision felt cloudy, she couldn't feel her body. She couldn't hear the blood curdling scream that had came from her own lips. She couldn't feel her body sprint at Adi, all reason and logic had disappeared. She sprinted at him. She threw her fist at his face. She wanted to hit him. She wanted to hit him again. And again. Until she couldn't lift her arms.

*And just like that, they had vanished, but not before the Jedi had noted they'd "bothered him enough." Derel glowered at the hole in the floor; the Rodian could have given chase, but his current injury and the potential to be ambushed were the two major deterrents. Now they had truly made him angry, injuring him and simply leaving him on his lonesome. Maybe there were other intruders he could take his anger out on elsewhere... but regardless, it seemed it was time to find Soku. Were he knowledgeable enough of this facility, he might have sought out a medbay, if not just to grab a quick patch for his hip, but it seemed the best way to guarantee his safety at the moment was to seek out his comrade...*

*Atton sighed heavily, one hand on one of the sabers on his belt.*"All right, let's pretend for just a moment that you're telling the truth. And for posterity's sake, that I'm gullible enough to believe that you're not going to stab me when we're inside." *He only scowled when the Nagai tried to genuinely smile, seeing only a knife in the back if he tried to help the stranger.*"Where would this secret entrance be?"
