"I like to get to know those I work with, the person, not the husk described in reports. We are all people, individuals, serving a greater good! It doesn't take away who we are. If your entire existence can be written in a report general, we might as well replace you with a droid. She jokingly added.

Taking it more personal, Daylana glared hostile towards her, as she felt mocked. "I'm... I'm far efficient than any droid, mylady, and I can proof that to you", she nearly more yelled than said, before actually realizing it herself, "I'm... I'm sorry, madame, I just... I'm not used to this kind of questions."

"I am gathering that." Annelise was beginning to wonder if she would be able to last in an Empire. She was raised to think creatively, and look for creative solutions. Individuality was a central tenant to her. She would have to make things work her, she was loyal to Standash. "This is all unofficial, what makes us special General is not our efficiency, droids will always have us organics beat there. We win by thinking, and problem solving. That's why I want to know you. Are you the kind that will be bound to a book for solutions, or will you look for the unseen solution. What makes you smile, what actually drives you? Why do you do what you do?"

Although still confused, General Kain seemed to understand at least some parts, which Anneliese said. "I do, what I do for the Empire, for the First Order", she said thus sort of patriotic, "As one of its generals it is my job to think both efficient and on a problem solving base. Unseen solutions are thus for what I am trained." She made a brief pause, before sort of continiueing. "I guess there isn't much room for private luxury, if I want to remain as useful to you as I am, madame."

"Don't forget about you General Kain, you are of no use to the Empire if you burn yourself out." Annelise cared for people. Maybe it was a flaw, but it was who she was. She was afraid that the Empire just planned on chewing up the woman before her, and then promoting her replacement. "I have had to remind the Moff about that since she was little. I can promise you, she is better at her job when she takes that advise. When was the last time you took leave?

A pause followed, as Daylana was somewhat surprised, unsure how to react for a brief moment. It seemed though as if she was trusting Anneliese to at least some degree. "One... two years ago", she then answered, "I was out frequently at a club here with some former comrades, but... since they left Carida and never returned I focused more on my career. Back then I was still an ensign." She gulped briefly. "Time passes quickly."

The administrator, frowns for a moment than smiles. "General, I am outside of the military chain of command, and cannot give orders with the Moff's authority. However, you can consider this an order. Take leave in two weeks." She pulls out a data pad, pulling up travel logs and other charts. "I can do this, the Thul Family's winter home in The Juran Mountains on Alderaan is open for that time. Have have informed the staff to expect a VIP in a few weeks. Relax, take time to recharge yourself. You will be better for it, and the Moff deserves the best you."

Standash takes time to tour the academy. Reminding those that think they are in charge that there is someone over them. She even sits through a few classes, Making note of students to keep an eye on in the future. Some will fit perfectly for the humanitarian fleet, others for other tasks. The future if the First Order was in good hands. Some instructors took umbrage with her presence. Good she thought, those were the ones that needed the reminder. Others were happy to see leadership recognizing their contributions. For a while she lingered watching hand to hand combat classes.

The Moff's residence was still under construction. Standash had taken up a temporary office in the administration of the Academy. She was filling paperwork, looking at arrival estimates for the Humanitarian fleet, and reading academy reports. The academy was seeing a small influx in recruiting with Coruscant under full First Order control. She had sent recruiters quickly into the under city, selling the Stormtrooper Corps. as an escape. More could be done in that area. She was looking at a picture on her desk. Her old H-Type starship. She left it on Alderaan, it was the ship of a princess, not a Moff. She missed it still. She hated the Shuttles. Though she would be getting a Star Destroyer Flagship soon, it wasn't really something someone could make their own. She made note for Annelise to put in a request for a Harab. It was a new design, so she would be low on the list to get one, until then the shuttles would have to do.

Standash sits at her desk, looking at various reports; Academy scores, information from the Humanitarian Fleet, and planetary economics. She was loving the work. Others could likely be overwhelmed, but deep down she loved it all. This was what she was born to do. While working, she received a notification that an Imperial Knight had requested landing clearance. She patched in to let him land next to the Harab and keep tabs on the Knight. She had no problem with a Knight on her world, but certainly wanted to be kept up to date on his actions while here.

Xeonon had been sent out on an assignment that had taken him away from the Emperor and the heart of the Empire. He hated to leave. After spending the last several months protecting the Emperor, never leaving his side other than to sleep it felt weird to be alone. Weirder still to be back in his old armour with his old lightsaber magconnected to his hip. New Carida was one of the most important planets within the Empire. Not only was it a major training ground for the Empires ground forces, it was one of its many bread baskets. Although there were several agri-worlds that out preformed the planet on shear number of food grown and raised, every planet mattered when you had trillions of beings to feed.
As he walked through the streets he noticed that most people gave him a wide berth glancing at him before going back to their day. All except a few who seemingly followed him around. He paid them no heed. Word had spread of Moff Thul. She was ruthless, cunning, and efficient. No doubt word of his arrival had made its way to her and that they were keeping tabs on him. Xeonon stopped at a street merchant and purchased some of their ways, while he stopped he looked at his would be fan club. Of the five people who followed him three were not very good at keeping it hidden. The worst being one of two soldiers seemingly enjoying a break who kept glancing at him. His partner was little better, but at least they did not look at him every five seconds.
Figuring his time on planet would be best spent without having people watching his every move, he made his way towards the office of the Moff and upon reaching the door he knocked waiting politely for a response before entering.

Standash liked to say she had an open door policy, though that wasn't entirely true. She made sure Annelise, her aide had and open door policy. She was empowered to take care of most everything, and she had the authority to interrupt the Moff. As the Knight walked into to the administrative compound, the un-helmeted trooper at the front froze. A million things ran through his head. It took all he had to hit the button to summon Annelise. With a cool professionalism, the aide de camp, approached the Knight. her blonde almost white hair was in a tight bun. She wore a formal business suit, not an First order Uniform as she didn't have an official rank. She bowed her head slightly. Welcome to Carida my Lord. I apologize for not meeting you at your landing. I am Administrator Annelise Sitar, aide de camp to Moff Thul. Her hand was open but she didn't extend it. Imperial Knights differed in they levels of formality they desired and she waited for his next move.

Reaching out his left hand Xeonon inverted it and shook the Administrators hand quite awkwardly. Although he still had his right hand he had found over the years that people found shaking his cybernetic hand quite repulsive. Something to do with the cold metal. That and on more than one occasion he had activated the mechanism inside to deadly results. Pleasure to meet you Administrator Sitar, could you let the Moff know that the Imperial Knight Xeonon Solomon has come to see her.

The Aide shook the Knight's hand. She didn't show it on her face, but she was concerned. There were thousands of reasons for and Imperial Knight to have a surprise visit with the Moff, the problem was that only a small number of them where good. Of course my Lord, follow me.The aide lead the way toward the Moff's office. There was a bit of a maze through the office complex, using a few different elevators. She inserted her code cylinder and the office door slid open. The office was very simple in design. A black desk sat in the middle, one chair behind and 3 in front of it. 2 windows dominated the walls. One faced south with mountains in the distance, though the view of them was obscured by the multi-colored stain glass. The large art piece depicted the history of the people of Carida. The other window overlooked the main parade ground of the Stormtrooper Academy. The Moff stood in her gray uniform looking through this window at some of the training taking place with her hands behind her back. She turns to the Knight entering the room. Imperial Knight Xeonon, it is good to see you again, and I suppose nice to meet you personally. I hope that Carida has treated you well. The Moff was much more confidant that her Aide, she knew everything was running smoothly, and was confident in her abilities to to handle unknown.

Bringing his clenched hand up to his chest and held it there for a few moments as a salute. Although there would be some who would argue that the Imperial Knights, whom functioned as the Emperors bodyguards and thus an extension of the Emperor himself Xeonon was not one to worry about such things. He stood before a Moff, and one whom looked over the training of the Imperial Forces. She deserved the respect.
Please, just Xeonon will do Moff Thul, or if we must use our proper ranks just Knight Solomon. You have done well looking after the place, certainly a less qualified person would not have been able to accomplish as much as you have.
Looking back at the aide who brought him here he nodded and smiled at her.
Thank you for getting me here, I would have been lost without you.

The aide smiled to herself. That was the idea. It had been her contribution to the design of the complex. The turns and level changes were in place to put some people a little off guard, even when they didn't realize it. there were emergency and privet corridors that provided more direct routs in and out of the executive offices, the only the main way was decorated correctly. She bowed to the Knight and the Moff.My Lord, My Lady. She turned to leave, already punching buttons on her wrists for the service droids to bring refreshment. Standash smiled knowing what was going through the older woman's mind. She motioned to one of the three chairs in front of the desk. She didn't go around, but instead walked to the chair next to it. If informality is acceptable for you, then please, refer to me as Her Highness Princess Standash Alizarin Thul, Chanceler and Moff Regent of Carida... Or just Standash. She was taking a small risk making a joke on first conversation, but it felt like a worth wile one. She was respected here, but she was in the need of friends. Zahn had warned her of the Knight factions, and it was a worthwhile warning, but they would also make powerful allies. Please have a seat and tell me what brings you out this far.

Walking over to the chair and sitting down it strained against the added weight of him and the armour he wore but it held.
As much as I would love to constantly call you by your proper title Your Highness Princess Standash Alizarin Thul, Chancellor and Moff Regent of Carida I fear that I would never leave the planet. Of course being stuck on a planet with a beauty like you would not be so bad. His face contorted to that of a lecherous old man as he spoke before going back to the usual joyous look he has.
Just standard procedure Standash. A few systems nearby had reported unusual amounts of unrest, nothing crazy but someone felt it was necessary to send someone out to investigate. I figured it would be best to work my way from a Imperial stronghold like New Carida towards where the reports were. Just wanted to make sure that they hadn't made their way here and done anything.
Xeonon was careful with how his tone sounded. To the wrong person they may take it as an accusation. In truth Xeonon did not expect to see anything out here beyond some troops. This was a fools errand. If there was any amount of unrest in the colonies then it would not last long. Someone had wanted to get him out of the Core and this was their best way of doing that.

I can assure you that you will only find loyalty here. I do not think you will find a more loyal planet to the Empire than Carida. The people here have always been Imperials at heart. This will be a fine planet to be based from. I offer the use of the Acadamy. May I also offer some of the advanced cadets to assist you. I would love for them to be tested under an Imperial Knight. She paused, carefully considering her next words. I must tell you, Knight Xeonon, part of me wonders if you aren't looking for the loyalties of leaders in the area, not the people. Maybe ones with previous allegiances?People within the First Order had every right not to trust her. She had served as the head of the last government to stand against the First Order, that she left that post of her own choice would not put her past suspicion.

I won't lie to Standash it had occurred to me that you were the Supreme Chancellor before becoming part of the Empire. I can not speak for anyone else within the Empire but you have my word that at this point I do not think you have anything to do with this.
Reaching into one of the pouches on his belt Xeonon pulled out a small data pad. Laying it on the table before them a small star map showing the local sector of space. New Carida was on the outside of it and it along with a dozen other worlds dotted across it were blue, with four of them red.
I was hoping to work with you, and maybe some of the troops training here to get some field experience. As you can see its relatively small. Most of the worlds that are having issues seem to have no connections, New Caridia just happens to have the best routes to these worlds. Xeonon understood the implication. That it may have spread from here, or that the whatever was happening had a central location. On first glance I would say these are at random. No common thread between the types of dissent. Maybe investigation might prove otherwise but thats why I am here. Boots on the ground and such.

Standash looked at the list. Mostly small worlds, most didn't even warrant a Moff's presence, but all it took was a little dissent to catch fire. One world caught her eye.Caamas is on this list... That is slightly unexpected, but the presence of the offworlders could explain that. Wait...The Moff turned to her data pad now, the one she uses for the Humanitarian Fleet. She began scrolling through requests and charts. I may be able to offer you more than a bass. Refuge City has been experiencing a rise in illness. Reports are showing it is a weekend strain of the Blue Shadow Virus. I was looking for worlds that could use the Humanitarian Fleet, this seems like a great start. No one would worry about an Imperial Knight overseeing the first deployment of a fleet and regiment. Just make sure you bring your own water.
