Sernpidal, the third planet in the Julevian system, was the adopted home planet of the Sernpidalian species. Orbiting only 115,000 kilometers from its sun, it was the most populous world of its sector.

Arriving at the edge of the Julevian System, the Orar sat facing the systems primary as the ships sensors carefully updated the already accurate spatial maps of the system. During the trip through hyperspace Taung had outlined the operation and how it would proceed. It would take some time to pull off, but that was hardly a concern, by the time someone could intervene, it would be far far too late.
Sernpidal, the fifth significant satellite in the system was the focus of the attention. Its orbital path around the star and the tidal forces of its system sister planets was carefully plotted and plugged into a complex, yet straight forward computer model. It was a simple vector intercept model, but the beings who had come up with the model for long range space interception could never have dreamed what their mathematical models would now be used for. Taung smiled at that thought as the final preparations were complete and the last stations on the ship signaled their readiness.
::All stations report readiness Commander.::
Taung stood. ::Very well. Captain, commence Taung's Focus on the hour.::
::Aye sir. All stations stand by to commence operation on computer countdown.::
The time slipped away, and the individual targeting computers were given instructions to take control of their respective turrets which it did, carefully aligning their oversized turbolasers that had already been painstakingly calibrated, towards their target, a piece of empty space nearly 15 light hours away. The time slowly ticked away and the captain made the announcement.
::All stations, Taung's Focus commencing in five, four, three, two, one, com-::
The captain's last word was drowned out as the turbolasers discharged their spine tingling energy. Within the ship the crew experienced their ship shuddering and a spike of static across open comlinks and external holocams as the electronics struggled to compensate for the sudden surge of bright energy that assaulted their sensors. Outside of the ship one would see the eight barrels in four turrets suddenly flare in brilliant blue as focused turbolaser bolts nearly 100 meters long dashed poured fourth from the interior of the ship and streak towards the general center of the system, but that wasnt all.
On the inside reports from several crewers streamed out of their helmet speakers.
::First volley away, automatic realignment and initial calculations for volley two is underway.::
::Proceeding to firing point number two, hyperspace warning. Stand by::
The ship had not been perfectly aligned at its target that didnt yet exist in its location, instead the turrets had been shifted minutely to one side of the ship, and as the ship went to hyperspace moving deeper into the system it actually overtook its own fired bolts it had fired from mere moments before. The ship fell from hyperspace, its weapons turrets already carefully aligned for its new orientation as the soldier at the helm properly oriented the ship on its new course, assisted by the computer program and targeting program that had been constructed.
::Location confirmed, final targeting corrections being made...firing solution locked into computer, computer taking control. Stand by for volley number two in...five, four, three, two, one, fir-:: the ship shuddered again. ::Volley two complete, shifting to firing sequence three...::
::Proceeding to firing point three, hyperspace warning. Stand by...::
Outside the ship the procedure would have appeared exactly the same. On the outside however, the second set of bolts leapt out from the oversized turbolaser barrels, but with a key difference. There were not just eight turbolaser bolts now headed in-system, there were now sixteen, on an almost perfect parallel, and to even a careful observer, that would indeed appear to be true, but as the Orar continued its firing sequences, jumping from location to location as it slipped incrementally deeper into the system, it was actually building an ever building circle of turbolaser bolts, all heading to the same place and time in space. Each time the ship jumped, it ended up carefully in front but not inline with its previous volleys, and the careful timing, with exacting computer control, sent the latter volleys side by side with the previous volleys. This procedure would go on for several days, as turbolaser bolts flew at no where near the speed of light, but their destructive focused power would continue on, they just needed a target to strike.
Each bolt was powerful in its own right, but by firing repeated volleys at its target on a near parallel but slightly convergent course to all end in a very small area in space and time all at once, the effective firepower was magnified by many times, more so in fact than that of an entire ship, an entire squadron, task force, and even most fleets assembled.
After nearly a week of continuous operation at a distance that was typically difficult to detect as no one paid any attention to ships so far away, the Orar ceased its operations, finally jumping to a vantage point. It took another nearly week and a half for the turbolaser barrage to reach its target, appearing as a single beam of destructive turbolaser force from the heavens.
Orar had ended its journey two hundred planetary diameters from Sernpidal itself, on a parallel course to the planets own orbital course, in time in fact to watch the turbolaser bolt seem to flash out of nowhere, streaming briefly past the moon of Dobido and past whatever startled ships happened to be in orbit, lucky or unlucky depending if they lived or died, and struck the planet with the same amount of energy as that of the main weapon of the Second Death Star. The combined energy beam, now hundreds of kilometers long, and only a few tens of kilometers in diameter, instantly vaporized all the material it touched, fusing it in heat not seen outside of reactors and stars, what didnt become energy in and of itself, compressed into a violent shockwave proceeding the destructive beam to tear the planet asunder in a violent explosion. As the planet and all its life met its end, Taung nodded to the navigator on the Orar, who took the ship to hyperspace.

*A modified TIE Hunter appeared in orbit of the planet Sernpidal. As it dropped out of hyperspace, its pilot removed his hands from the controls and set them in his lap as he peered down at the planet before him.
It had been ages... many, many years, since Ambar had last set foot on the planet. Back then, there was a Sith hold on the planet. ... at one point, he had been given charge of the planet. Used it as a base with which to rally his forces and strike at his Jedi foes upon Belkadan, only to suffer defeat after defeat. After his greatest defeat in a final large-scale assault upon the world, he'd abandoned the world, taking up residence on Shili temporarily, before donning a false disguise and attempting to infiltrate Belkadan once more, where he had finally been killed.
That last battle had been when Samantha had left him, and had drove him over the brink into insanity.
Samantha herself sat beside him in the expanded cockpit, her own eyes scanning the planet as she began to recall the brief time she had spent here. "Satsi," that had been her Sith name, a name she'd cast aside the moment she'd been welcomed by the Calmcacil family. Those had been dark times, times she had chosen not to recall, but with the sight of the world before them came those awful memories flooding back.* Why did you bring me here? *Ambar cringed a little, sensing the minor distress from his apprentice. His sister. He admittedly hadn't considered how returning to this place might trigger her worse memories and make her feel uncomfortable.* I'm sorry. I felt obligated to return here, to set some things right that never should have been done in the first place. I thought maybe you'd like to do the same... *He smirked to himself, which turned into a soft smile as he turned to look at Samantha.* And maybe make some good memories here for once. *She looked back at him, analyzing his expression and intent, before finally forcing a smile.* If you say so, I guess we can try. *Ambar chuckled.* That's the spirit. *His eyes returned to the planet before him once more, taking it in. This was mostly a reconnaissance mission, to see how the world was holding up, if it still had a Sith influence or if it had been freed. Ambar hoped for the latter. If it was the case of the former, however... he didn't intend to let that be for long.* Down we go then. *The ship descended into the planet's atmosphere, making for the terrain outside of the city...*
