Hey do we wan to set up a naming convention for the Empire's various fleets or shall we leave it to the individual writers? I don't much care one way or the other, just curious.

So I understand Kuat is the place to go for the construction of ships, but where does the Galactic Empire train it's recruits?

Which planets are ours?
And, which planets, do we need to take like Yavin IV Kashyyk or Alzoc III ?

........ ..... ... Korriban? No one else is using it right?
Do we want to make that our naming convention? Things/beings that cause fear? Preferablly in the form of uncontrolable panic, and not proper nouns.
Or do we wan to use the names of great sith of ages gone by, perhaps Bane, Malak, Revan, Sadow, etc?
We have the worlds we can take, plus Korriban, Kuat, and Bastion.

As far as I am concerned, I think fear would be better and more aligned with the name of the ships in the book.
Though, we could have this discussion IC when we set up a naval command and all the admirals and moffs come and talk?

So I understand Kuat is the place to go for the construction of ships, but where does the Galactic Empire train it's recruits? Worlds for recruitment are practically everywhere. I will need to make a list of planets though. I know Eriadu has a militarized population, but that belongs to Major. We also have Bastion. Our major production centers are Foerost, Balmorra and Kuat that I know of.

I think a list of planets under Imperial Control is needed at this point. Along with their use or purpose would also be nice.

Maybe, we can sweep up a few non-active planets under an Imperial doctrine, like, even though the worlds don't belong to us, we still terrorize protect and watch over them as well as establishing outposts.

As far as I know, we control these:
Kuat- Capital and shipyard Bastion- Soon to be secured, function unknown Foerost- Production Center Balmorra- Production Center Thule- In rebellion, I will address this later and might actually spark some sort of RP with the Republic, with both sides approving Aargau- Center for Imperial Knights? Correct me if I'm wrong Khomm? Ojom?
And that is the extent of my knowledge on what we control, Nicademus might want to clarify some question marks on the list or add/remove worlds from that list

Add on Aargha, Ojom, Khomm and Eriadu. Bastion has been secured by Gideon's troops before he left.
I don't know anything beyond that really.

I would like to see Bastion fall under the Imperial Navy as a command center and training area for new starship commanders and pilots.

I was actually considering moving the capital to Bastion. Kuat is too close to the frontline for an Emperor's comfort, plus Bastion is definitely more a traditional symbol as an Imperial capital. Kuat would make better sense as a major Imperial Navy center. If we took Bilbringi, I can see either that or Kuat being under the Imperial Navy's influence as a command center and an area to train new pilot squadrons and commanders.

That sounds reasonable to me, however keep in mind that Kuat will still be VERY important.

I am aware of Kuat's importance. I already have a plan for that.

We can put Kuat under the Imperial Navy and Bastion as the capital. Though Bastion was the center of the Navy in the books.
Sounds good? Unless, you have a better idea?

Irr, I'm slightly worried that I can't tell if that was a joke or not.

It was a joke, but if you can make it happen, I'm sure Zhan wouldn't mind the extra company, just check in with him before you show up (obviously).
Also, the naming convention thing got lost, do we care, are we doing scary things, does this need to be tabled for further consideration, what?
