Still going, though I'm not sure what to do next. Everyone else seems to mostly be doing their own thing, and I feel ill equipped to interact with others right now. You and others are still more than welcome to join in!

Seems like a pretty perfect opportunity for me to get myself started. Any particular place one might go/start to offer their services culling some cougars? Any issue with starting planetside? or would you prefer people arrive through orbit first?

From my understanding, if you wanted to start in orbit and head down planetside, you were welcome to do so without having to wait for approval. ( I NPC'd the interaction, rather than just saying no one was home. ) Though, I'm sure you starting on the surface would work too, might save some time in the long run - so you'd jump right into the action. And, as of an earlier post, I believe the Republic is sponsoring a relief mission by hiring Merc's and the like to render whatever aid they believe would serve the people of Belkadan best. So, you're able to use that angle if you like, if that's the direction the Republic is still wanting to go with... You never know these days, they change their minds like any bureaucracy.  |

Well, what with the unfortunate small turnout, I'll probably be close to wrapping this up somewhat soon. It had potential, but it seems it can just be another minor event that happened. Doesn't mean those of us remaining can't do a bit of storytelling in the meantime though.

It couldn't hurt the end-of-operation stage, at least. I'm in no rush to get it over with, though it's pretty much at its end. So if you'd still like to contribute, by all means!

it might work better that way. Cass would be distrustful of the hte Jedi, but he would be unable to question the results. It would put him in an uncomfortable position.

Dmitri wants to see if Cass is capable of working with others, no matter whether they are civilians, Jedi, Imperials, or whomever else might have shown up on Belkadan, and while the call for help is old, he would not want the Republic to entirely overlook it. So I will be sending Cass your way very soon. Even if all Cass does is arrive to find that the problem is over, and report back to Dmitri on the outcome and who helped solve the problem, that would be positive development for their friendship.
