Ti eyed the datachip for quite a while, as she saw the potential behind the plan. Unlike Nal Hutta or the Hutt worlds in general a mobile shadowport would allow herself several advantages, starting from establishing new lucrative buisenesses on a moving market, while it would also give her new possibilities for future pirate raids. Any attacks against her ships would become void the very moment they could flee inside this massive complex, as even an Imperial-class Star Destroyer would struggle against the power of a fully-armed Lucrehulk station, even if most of the weapon systems get replaced with something else. It would allow her to remain in buiseness, grant her at the same time a safe haven and also allow her to make new alliances - improving her career as a syndicate leader even more.
"I think my answer is obvious as long as there is profit to be made", she thus added friendly towards Draven's words, "The Ti Syndicate will gladly support your operation and dispense on previous promised rewards towards the Syndicate, if it fastens up the process of turning this station into the vision you desire. I am no friend of short-term profits and welcome the chance of investing into a buiseness, which will grant the Syndicate more money in the future than the single reward for the moment. Otherwise the Ti Syndicate wouldn't be in the position in which it currently is."

Metis smiled happily as she watched the future of the Cabal she helped build unfold. It seemed that not only had they gotten their hands on this fine ship, but also a few new allies. Her gaze then turned to Ghaz. She tilted her head a bit as she waited to see if he had further orders for her, or any of them.

Ghaz was pleased with what he had heard. And his force senses detected the happiness within his apprentice. She had joined his side when the Jinn Cabal was still young and the plans for such an ambition were nothing but loose sheets of flimsy that were balled up and thrown about a room. The masked Cathar looks between Draven Heart and Kian Ti, his new and, hopefully, permanent allies.
There is much work to be done before we depart Hypori.
He turns and gestures to the hangar bays.
We will be bringing in more of our personnel to clean up the hangar bays and get ready for supplies and materials. There are those on their way in transports I acquired. Others can likely be retrieved and scavenged from the planet's surface. All of you, do what you can to get every piece of metal, wire, and electronic available for the ships internal redesign.
This included Metis and her crew. His mask even looks at the Twi'lek as he speaks.
Once we have what we need, we will make for Polis Massa System to begin our work. The far edge of the Outer Rim will make it hard for us to be discovered.

With the new orders being presented, it seemed that they would be busy for a bit of time. Collecting and transporting supplies did fit into the plans he had just stated so this would provide a perfect start. However, there was a tiny problem that would need to be addressed. Whether no or later, having this task done would dictate his effectiveness in his jobs.
"Sounds like a plan. However, there is a bit of a snag. Considering I rode shotgun on this little trip, I'm the one currently lacking a ship and crew of my own. No doubt you have enough to spare for the time being, but I will be needing my own if I'm to effectively handle any tasks you all have for me."

Kian Ti glanced over to Draven, thinking over what he said. "The ship shouldn't be the problem, darling", the Kaminoan eventually stated benevolent, "I can offer you anything from a Rogue starfighter over a Grek-class shutle transport up to a Mobquet Gunship, an Interceptor IV, a Firebulk cruiser and if you ask really nicely perhaps even one of the Nebulon-Bs, if it helps the organization of getting this ship ready. I'll inform the boys, if you consider one of the larger ship options, should you require a crew, so you don't face problems. Just as a fair warning though: Whatever you take, don't crash it. Because if you survive it, I'll put it on your bill." She had quite some fun teasing this one, though her offer was a serious one. Whether one of her stupid captains commanded a ship or someone, who already knew all the details of what Lord Ghaz required and desired didn't matter, because in the end they were all replacable. Someone like Draven was however more likelier to survive for you required talent of surviving the meddlings of the underworld. It would be interesting to put Mr. Heart's talent up to the test in order to see, if she was right in her assumption about him.

There were some other alternatives than what Kian Ti offered.Draven, I can offer the services of one of my vessels. Otherwise, from what I can tell, there are some ships available within the hangar bays of this vessel. The inventory mentions several C-9979 landing crafts in hangars on the other side of where we are. Other ships, of note, include a couple Hardcell-class Transports along the hull which we saw earlier, and several more Maxillipede Shuttles. There were plenty of various transports that Draven could use in performing the duties requested by Ghaz. And they all could carry plenty of resources. The databanks on the ships revealed reactivated droid foundries and mounds of resources ready to be claimed. With the Grand Confederacy gone, it was plenty to gain.

Draven took. Moment to contemplate the options that had been brought before him. As a former pirate, especially one that made runs against Sith freighters, he had a mind for the best possible approach. Efficiency while cutting back costs as a businessman would say. There was no telling just how much they would find in their search for additional. He needed something quick that could carry quite a bit in one go, but require the least amount of manpower. Defense and offense were good things to think about as well, but only when actually raiding other ships. In this case, they were but added bonuses.
However, this was only a temporary solution for the immediate task. For future jobs, none of the offered ships satisfied him. Either they were too slow, lacked firepower, had little cargo capacity, or were too big. His family of pirates had made it a point to always understand most of the known ships people used and their layout for the most effective attack and raiding actions. It didn’t help against modified vessels but for knowing what he was looking for in his own, it was more than enough.
After a few moments of going through lists in his head, he finally looked back to Kian. "Considering you utilize the Interceptor IVs, would you happen to have any Action VIs? If not, the Hardcell will be the best option. A much heftier crew for the latter, but it can’t be helped. But none do it for me as a permanent ship." He then turned his attention to Ghaz. "Any chance you know where I can pick up a C-Roc Gozanti? It’ll need a little bit of modification but otherwise will serve my purposes best. Solid stats across the board, including cargo space with minimal crew."

Kian Ti nodded, realizing what Draven might attempt. "We should have at least some Action VIs ready, given that we recently... obtained some and haven't tasked the Hutt wharfts to refit them appropriately. Apparently laser systems cost a lot of credits and well... can't spend all the profits straight on everything", she explained smug, "Either way, you can have it. Regarding the Gozanti you'll have to ask his highness as a mere pirate like me rather tends to avoid the Imperials on raidings rather than taking the risk of loosing an entire fleet to a well fortified convoy. 200,000 credits apparently in terms of production, because I've seen some offered for higher prizes at the black markets of Nal Hutta. Don't know the current salesmen for these though..."

Metis pushed herself back into a standing position from the crate she was leaning on. She shifted to have her weight on one leg and rested a hand on her hip. Well, my ship and crew should be here soon. My one question is, how much do you want us to piss off the locals? With the goals of the Cabal this close to being achieved, and out from Hutt thumbs, she was ready to get in another scrap if it meant getting enough supplies sooner.

With the goals of the Cabal this close to being achieved, and out from Hutt thumbs, she was ready to get in another scrap if it meant getting enough supplies sooner. From the looks of things, Kian Ti was doing well with ensuring that Draven Heart had a good deal. If he went with the Hardcell over the Interceptor VI, then Scar would pay attention to that. When Metis spoke up, he turns to his apprentice, hearing her words.Doubt we will have much issue with the locals. If we do, then we will scare them off.He gestures to the stored battle droids that were being examined in one of the formerly enclosed crates. However, there was something else more important to be done. As Ghaz, Scar had spoken to Metis before about the future of this identity. With things moving forward, he wondered about the next step and stage for the Cabal and their growing list of allies.
Scar lowered his voice for a moment to speak with his apprentice.Metis, I would like to speak you however. At least before you head out to join your crew. His eyes glance at the spherical modular control ship that was in the center of the half-ring. With that said, he turns to Kian Ti and Draven Heart. The first two of his newly founded, and more permanent, allies. His cloak shifts slightly as the Cathar adjusts his posture. In recognition, you two will receive your own stake in the property that will be formed upon this vessel, both on the ring and upon the modular control ship. The latter will serve as your personal quarters, the former can be used to sell any sort of services. This being an addition to the nice cash they were getting.Do what is necessary to gain the resources and materials we need. In the mean time, I must do some business.Scar nods to Metis and proceeds to head for a troop transport in the hangar bay.

Don't know the current salesmen for these though..." As Ghaz spoke his piece, Draven took the time to weigh his options regarding his temporary ship. Unless they were about to step into a serious fire fight, there didn’t seem to be a need with a well armed ship. This, he settled for the Action VI. If they needed help, any remaining ships in orbit could aid them if necessary."I think the Action VI will served well enough. Just lead the way princess and we can take care of business." He then turned to Ghaz who had spoke of their stake in property on the station. Considering what he intended to do, he would really need a place to set up shop. Just a nice cantina where clients could find him. A place to call his own however was another story."Sounds good. A good cantina is more than enough of a spot for me to set up shop, so no concerns there." With that, he simply waited for the next step. There had been no further discussion of the ship he was looking to get, but it was a matter that could be handled later. As a Corellian design, getting ahold of it would be fairly easy.

Metis nodded in response to the requested audience and followed Scar to the hanger bay. She was still egger to get underway and find all they would need to build this into the Shadowport it deserved to be. Even as the transport took the master and apprentice to the modular ship, several more ships began to jump into view, bearing the mark of the Jinn Cabal. These were the convoys bringing with them materials and personnel that had been stored ahead of time. Hypori would deliver more of what they needed and a good clutch of droids to reprogram for security and maintenance duties. It was a treasure trove that they stood upon. As the transport, slowly, made its way from one bay to the next, Scar would remove his mask, for the first time since the operation began. The Cathar gazes at the mask. What are your thoughts of casting aside the identity of Ghaz?He hands the mask to Metis as the Jinn Cabal's leader speaks. When Darth Maul led the Crimson Dawn, he never hid his face. He was just simply the powerful leader. Only a few were able to truly speak with him, those who were deemed worthy lieutenants and trusted allies. But we aren't hunted like Maul was.Xizor, Lom Pyke, Cikatro Vizago, and many more examples could be spoken. Scar looks out one of the small viewports, witnessing one of their convoys beginning to dock. It was the beginning of a new age for their criminal organization. The mask was there to ensure I would not be targeted till these plans came to fruition. To ensure that none would dare disobey or defy. Now with the prize in our hands, is there a point to remain as the masked Ghaz? Ghaz has served his purpose. He ensured a dreaded authority that no one could question. But should the legacy of this monumental moment belong to the mask or the person?Perhaps Ghaz could still exist, but nothing more as a means to mask himself from those the Cathar dealt with in terms of business and were not trustworthy. The identity had done its job to the letter: it was a persona that ensured an aura of dread was felt by his subordinates. That they lowered their heads and dared not defy him. Now, with his promises fulfilled, he could establish himself as Scar and not Ghaz. The Cabal's members would have little reason to even consider betraying his organization.

Metis gave a soft smile, it seemed far more genuine than usual. She turned in her seat to fully face Zalam. She had always hated the mask and the alternate personality of Ghaz. Too dark and brooding for her taste, but she recognized it's usefulness. The Twi'lek tilted her head slightly, still smiling.
Well, if what I've heard of Maul, he was overconfident. And likely a part of him wanted to be found for his revenge. Ghaz is a... useful tool for you, however, perhaps being able to be yourself will have it's benefits. No long being just the book keeper will no doubt be liberating, no? And it's not like Ghaz would need to be hung up forever. He may have other business interest elsewhere that need looked after, while he leaves his trusted clerk to run his Shadowport. But as to who should take the credit for this? That's up to you, Zalam. No matter what you chose, I've got your back.
Her eyes searched his face, trying to read where he was leaning. The answer she gave had been careful, it was a big choice that only he could make, but deep down she hoped he would leave Ghaz behind for good.

The Cathar had expected this answer from Metis. He knew her feelings about the mask and what it represented. Ghaz had been the persona needed to establish himself and to ensure nothing would be able to divert their path to this point. He had been the dreaded mask that forced his subordinates in line and ensured fear in the hearts of those that needed to feel it. Now, with the Shadowport secured, and the doorway to the future fully open, Zalam could now consider setting the mask to the side.
His purpose has been served. A time will come when the mask is needed again.
The male says as he looks down at the hollowed eye sockets of the metallic piece.
But, today, Ghaz will... go into a slumber. Zalam, or perhaps Scar, will replace him.
He turns and smiles at his apprentice.
When we arrive at the modular sphere, pick out where you and your crew want to have your quarters. You lot get first dibs.
Zalam looks out a viewport, seeing the shuttle approaching the central orb of the Lucrehulk.
When that is done, join the efforts in getting the materials that we need. We shouldn't linger here for long.

"Devout" an encrypted databurst is received. In turn, orders are dispatched throughout the group via encrypted communication. The flotilla soon disappears into hyperspace.

The Felstorm shattered forth from Hyperspace over the barren planet of Hypori. The minimalist crew onboard brought the massive floating Pyramid into orbit as additional Imperial reinforcements arrived from Roon. The infancy and secrecy of the One Sith necessitated deception to ensure its survival and eventual growth into a mighty Empire. To this end, an Imperial Remnant based out of Roon was used as a cover story for the military build up and explain the resources and supplies being funnelled through the world. And so Valon was in need of the Remnants forces to undertake this mission to Hypori.
While the planet was supposedly devoid of any native sentient life forms, the Sorcerer was not willing to take that chance and compromise the operation here. There were a few mysteries awaiting below for Valon to uncover and, hopefully, claim for his own.
Troop transports were soon launching from across the Star Destroyers and making for the surface wit their focus upon the defunct Droid Facilities scattered across the planet's surface. Valon loaded into the Shadowgore and piloted the Freighter down, with his Smoke Demon guards ready to protect their master should anything happen

Reality elicited a tortured shriek as a warhulk ripped its way through the dimensional barrier, sinking ethereal claws into the wall between realms and tearing a wide rent in its surface, opening the way so that the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer 'Covenant of Blood' might enter the system. Black as the void and covered in a bramble of impervium spikes from stern to bow, the destroyer was a nightmare of dark metal and menace. A collection of frozen cadavers danced upon each elongated thorn as the vibration created by the rumble of the dreadnought's engine cones caused the corpses to shake, freeing ice crystals and decaying bits of frost rimed tissue that trailed the ship like morbid mist as it was propelled through space towards the planet of Hypori. It has arrived shortly after the Felstorm, entering the system from the opposite direction as it guided a caravan of blackships from deep within the Cloak of the Sith. They seemed to swim in the wake of the great black beast, keeping behind its plethora of heavy turbolaser cannons as it stalked towards the world unopposed. Huge links of Roon forged iron chain dragged behind the demonic dreadnought, stretching a kilometer through space to a collection of cargo containers it was pulling behind it. Hazardous chemical residue seeped from cracks in their surface, bleeding radioactive particles and toxic fumes into the vacuum. Two space ranats in vacuum suits waited for the signal, gnarled paws hovering over the controls for the magnetic clamp of each chain. As the Covenant dragged its package into orbit, the confirmation squeak they had been waiting on was delivered over their shared communications channel and both rodents hit their respective buttons. As the magnets were disengaged, the warship monetarily lurched forwards as the pressure on its hull was lessened, the chains behind it no longer taught now that they had released their loads. Large cog shaped wheels spun inside darkened recesses in the hull, coiling the lengths of chain on two massive spools as gigantic ranat-ogres used their mutated muscular girth to turn large cranks. As for the package, the collection of cargo containers continued on as gravity now had a hold over it, pulling it towards the atmosphere where it threatened to plummet towards the planet, unleashing its contaminants across the surface of Hypori. Two dozen blackships came behind, each a cargo empress-class super freighter, filled to the brim with the same hazardous chemicals and toxic substances as the larger bundle they were pursuing. The transports were piloted by the tinker rats of Clan Rustrot, rodents of unusual scientific learning and were known to being curious to the point of cruelty. Of all the ranat clans of Dragusblight, Clan Rustrot was perhaps the closest to the dark apothecary, geographically speaking. It was a well established fact that the warrens of their clan were connected to the flesh pits of the Apothecarium in the bowels of the great Fortress of Tawntoom on thrice cursed Roon. This offered the tinker rats and warlock engineers of the clan great insight into the Dark Apothecary's work, which they attempted to mimic with their own understanding of alchemy and dark science. Occasionally they were also known to frequent the domain of Darth Astera, the SE's Director of Advantaged Technology, whom they respected for her technological mastery. With scabrous rodent flesh and cybernetic prosthetic replacements they guided polluted offerings behind the poisonous package heading for Hypori.Already fires in space could be seen erupting across the collection of trash as it hit the atmosphere and began to burn up upon entry, causing explosions of caustic ingredients as the contaminants mixed to volatile effect.During a recent Council of Seven meeting, the matter of what to do with the Sith Eternal's growing amount of waste had been brought up. Well, it was less of a meeting and more of an intervention, really. You see that while fellow councilor Dragus was quite content to live amongst filth and all manner of foul substance, the rest of the Council was less than thrilled by the prospect, and had noted with growing concern the piles of filth scattered across their holdings and even found within the halls of the Nullus Beacon. A vote was called and six of seven councilors decreed that as Dragus was largely responsible for most of the waste, that he should also be responsible for getting rid of it. The only vote against was submitted by Darth Astera, whom Dragus was currently blackmailing after taking some unsavory photos of her when she had over-imbibed at last years SE Sithmas party. Unsurprisingly, Dragus had also voted for himself on principle, even though it did leave him with a mess to clean up. Which brings us to current events.Chemical clouds darkened the sky on the far side of Hypori.

Feverish, a pale skinned man turned back and forth in bed, skin covered in a thin sheen of perspiration that sent chills throughout his body and raised goose pimples across his ghastly flesh. He awoke with a sudden jerk, sitting up as the sweat soaked sheet slid off of his chest. Lorn kneaded his scarred brow with the spindly digits of his hands before removing them and peering across the dim room with two luminous yellow eyes, bloodshot and focused. Slipping his legs over the side he rose from the slab of black stone he used for a bed and approached his wardrobe to begin dressing. It only took the dark apostle a few minutes to select and change into a shadow silk keikogi with spiked shoulder pads and a midnight hued cape with cortosis fibres woven into the material. Removing a silver hooked cylinder from a charging station, the acolyte hooked the hilt of his lightsaber to his belt, then performed a once over in front of his standing mirror. Satisfied, he exited his private chambers that adjoined his ready room and then the bridge. Ghoulish umbaran cultists in manflesh leathers offered the apostle eager looks and disdainful glances as he entered. He ignored them and took to the obsidian throne at the center of the bridge.
"Has the trash been discarded?" He inquired as he took a seat in the rigid command throne, resting a gloved hand on control console built into the polished left arm of the chair. Lorn's insidious yellow eyes glared out the main viewport at the world of industry stretched out before his vision. A burning black speck speck marked the surface where the pollutants had been dumped.
"Aye, milord." Replied a deck officer in a filthy uniform that masked the scent of his unwashed body with a uniquely pungent aroma of its own. "The scavengers are remaining to oversee waste management and potential resource acquisition. We've also detected an allied dreadnought anchored in orbit on Hypori's far side. It looks like they are establishing a presence at the droid foundries."
The pale skin of his hollow cheeks began to twitch, then the corners of his mouth twisted upwards and his thin lips peeled apart to reveal black gums and yellow teeth filed to sharpened points. His words carried the weight of his station when next he spoke, the foetid stink of his rotten breath carrying across the bridge and disparaging those situated nearest to the command throne.
"Then we are done here. Break anchor and take us out on a course for the Cloak. At the edge of the cloud we'll signal the Devil-of-the-Void using the Dark Harp." He ordered, naming the master's latest horrifically inspired creation. "And open all functional shutters in the lower decks. Let the wretches gaze deeply into the depths of the shroud."
Ice crystals shook from the frigid cadavers that decorated the thicket of impervium spikes covering the surface of the Covenant of Blood's black hull, vibrating with increasing intensity as the massive ion cones at the rear of the dreadnought began to fire up. Shrieking starweirds let out horrendous cries into the airless void as they floated amongst the forest of impaled bodies, chained to the hull by Sith iron bands with sealing runes crafted by the foulest celestial blood magic. Leaving an ice trail of mist in its wake, the wedge shaped Imperial II-class star destroyer pulled away from Hypori's orbit and then broke free of its naturally formed gravity well, burning across the starry canvas of the Ferra sector as the warship accelerated towards the dust veiled Cloak of the Sith. Even as shockball sized hunks of rock and ice began to pelt the hull, orange warning klaxons flashed and screamed as the hydraulic doors set into the fanged maw of the hangar began to peel apart and retract into the hull.
A thick but worm-rotten platform of ashen wood was rolled out on four sets of wheels, pushed by two towering ranat-ogres that lumbered into the hangar on muscular legs as thick as tree trunks. Their mutant bodies bulged with sinuous muscle that stretched their fur sparsely across their scarred and scabrous flesh. They were naked save for manflesh loincloths secured around their waist by ropes of entrails to protect their modesty. Compared to their large bodies their rodent heads were considerably smaller, oozing ropes of drool from tusks that protruded from their lower jaws. The two hench-rats pushed the platform towards the chasm like opening in the center of the hangar, stopping just short of the yawning portal. There situated on top of the platform was a wicked object that radiated a foul aura that was a match for the perpetual miasma of despair that enshrouded the Covenant. Translucent tubes pulsed as they pumped a luminous green alchemical solution into a suspended amalgamation of dark science and sorcery. What looked like the tortured statue of a Rishii was in fact a living member of the species encased in Sith iron that fixed his winged body in place. The creature's left wing extended out to the side, stretched until the joint had become dislocated, then locked straight by encircling bands of spiked iron. The sentient avian's head was forced upwards, beak locked open by a metal bit drilled through the sides of its jaw. Fibrous gut strings were pulled taut from the length of its extended wing down into bone hooks set along its base. A suffering squawk sounded from the warped musical chimera known as the 'Dark Harp' as it came to a stop before the open hangar.
As the mixture of powdered dragite, exonium ore, Pzobian poison blossom, and darkside infused ranats blood circulated the animate harp's tortured heart, it caused immense pain in the rishii strapped into the machine, making it feel as though its veins were on fire and its insides were being eaten away by acid. Nothing quite so awful was occurring, lest the harp's host require quick replacement, which would be far too laborious. Only minimal damage was inflicted to the host, despite the suffering it radiated into the fey. As the avian writhed, one of the two monstrous ranat-ogres raised a gnarled paw ending in blackened claws that curved into grizzly hooks. It dragged its sausage sized fingers across the gut strings of the harp, causing each to resonate in growing intensity. Blue discharges of electrical current danced across the strings and the sound was translated into speakers set into the hull, broadcasting the signal out into space. Specks of blood spattered from the rishii's bitted beak as it coughed, unable to close its mouth as its beak ground and splintered as it grinded against the iron bar forcing it apart.
With the signal sent, the Covenant's engines roared furiously into the void and propelled it further away until it entered the Cloak and disappeared into the dusty veil.
