Also, I should let it be known that I got moved to 3rd shift today, so my posting may end up getting slowed down slightly since most of the posts that go up will now be when I'm asleep. Just a heads up for those that feel I suddenly stopped being as active as I was.

So, with the Blackguard looking to create/recreate their own ships to give themselves something separate from the others and up to date, I was thinking on the droid foundries located on Mustafar, along with the thought of rebuilding a droid into a unique one off creation, perhaps we can look into creating new battle/combat/training droids for the Blackguard's disposal. Perhaps take the idea for what I'm doing for the one off and instead turn it into a new series of droid. Could also bring in the plans I had for a heavy assault Battle droid as well. Thoughts?

Well right now, custom tech only works for ships. The RPA does hope to expand to other technology, but right now it's for ships only. I would also say that we already have some nice models to choose from, ranging from the droids of the CIS to YVHs, and Sentinel Droids. That's my opinion at least.

Got it. For now I'll stick with the custom/modified droid then. If there comes a time in which we look to new droids, I'll be happy to offer what little ideas I had stored up waiting for use.

Oh yeah, will gladly accept new droid models. For now though, we are working on bringing a lot of present tech to the Blackguard as well as custom ships. Like the Imperial Crawler Tank, the Sith war droids of the Great Galactic War, and so forth.

Hiya folks. So regardless of whether we get our own fancy thread or not, I just wanted to make a slightly more official announcement here for the rise of the Dark Jedi Order. I have poked around to people when I was looking for some interest. The plan right now, is that the DJO is going to serve something of a similar relationship to the Blackguard as the Ren with the First Order. We’ll still be apart of the greater whole, but we have our own ideas and autonomy. Below is some more information on the Order:
Dark Jedi Order The Dark Jedi Order was founded by Ifrit Bladeweaver and Mariah Shadows. The pair realized that while the Blackguard sought to unite all darksiders within the galaxy, its philosophies were heavily Sith aligned. Thus, the pair came together and formed the Dark Jedi Order. While they operate within the Blackguard, they maintain their own autonomy and organizational structure. Allowing them to pursue their own goals and teachings. Unlike the Jedi and Sith, the Dark Jedi Order does not have a code. Instead they have four tenants that they live by: Command, Emotions, Strength, Conquest. These are the basic pillars of what it means to be a Dark Jedi. "Through their command, they control their emotions. Through their emotions, they draw their strength. Through their strength, they conquer their foes. Through their conquest, they shall unleash the true fury of the Force."How someone joins the groupIC: Currently the Dark Jedi Order is headquartered on Sullust. So showing up there is a good way to get into the DJO ranks. Generally meeting with Ifrit or Mariah is a good way to get accepted into the Order for Non-Force Sensitives. Force Sensitives on the other hand have a couple options aside from meeting one of the two in person. The Blackguard training academy on Iridonia does have a path for trainee's to move into the Dark Jedi Order ranks. But you could also start out your training and career by being in a training group on Sullust itself. OOC: For anyone looking to join the Dark Jedi Order, whether with a Force User or Non-Force User, reach out to Ifrit Bladeweaver or Mariah Shadow via PM. Alternatively, let us know you're interested within this thread. Hierarchy of the Dark Jedi OrderThe Fallen: Lord Ifrit Bladeweaver Fallen Empress: Lady Mariah Shadows Force User RanksTwilight Mage - Phantom Reaper - Void Knight - Midnight CardinalsDark Jedi that hold any of these ranks are masters of one of the following domains. They have undergone years of service as a Dark Templar/Paladin and chosen an area of specialty that suits their strengths. Twilight Mage: Masters of magic and alchemy. Phantom Reaper: Masters of subversion, subterfuge, and assassination. Void Knight: Masters of combat and brute strength. Midnight Cardinals: Masters of manipulation and politics. Dark Templar/PaladinThe majority of Dark Jedi hold this rank. They are warriors of the Order that have yet to focus upon a specific area of knowledge, and it is here, where they begin to delve into the training of their specialization. While the use of Templar and Paladin is fairly interchangeable and preferential to each individual. There are some distinctions. Dark Templar: Focused upon a more fast past damage dealing combat. Dark Paladin: Focused upon taking damage and inflicting slightly less fatal hits than a Templar. Acolytes of the VeilInitiates into the Dark Jedi Order. This is a rank held specifically by anyone that trains within the Dark Jedi Order alone. This rank is generally skipped by anyone that transfers to the Dark Jedi Order from the Blackguards training academy. Non-Force User RanksCrusader Army of the Dark JediThe armed forces of the Dark Jedi Order. While the DJO was an order of Force Users, their armies were filled with Non-Force users that were trained and equipped with gear by the Order. Many ranks were available to the soldiers of the Crusader Army (from privates and sergeants, all the way up to Generals and Crusader Generals). Crusader Navy of the Dark JediThe naval forces of the Dark Jedi Order. As with the armed forces, the DJO's navy was filled and staffed by Non-Force users loyal to the cause of the DJO. Many ranks were attainable by those that staffed the ships of the Crusader Navy (from seamen and petty officers, all the way up to Admirals and Crusader Admirals) Current controlled locations or current location- Sullust - Ambria (allied - Secret HQ) Recent EventsFormed by a coalition of Lord Bladeweaver and Lady Shadows upon Sullust. Their numbers are small, but both seek to expand the influence and ranks fo the fledgling DJO...

Considering this will still operate with ties within the Blackguard, it certainly won't break Gavin's running commitment as teacher within the Blackguard. I feel his teachings would certainly work better in the DJO anyway as his methods are heavily structured around much of what he learned during his time with the Dark Jedi under Cthulu Plaga. As such, it can then be left to the twelve he's training what path they'd rather walk when they reach a certain point.
If desired, Gavin could meet with them, as he would find great interest in this, and discuss some of what he learned and see if there is anything Ifrit would want to impliment into his own lessons.

Well, we'd certainly be happy to have you aboard. Still wrapping up the goings-on IC, but myself or Mariah could certainly meet up with you somewhere IC and see where it goes.

I'm guessing that this knowledge would be sent out as common knowledge through the Blackguard? If so, Gavin can just come to Sullust, curious to the formation of another Dark Jedi order. Unless either of you have something else in mind.

Still yet to nail down the exact formation with Mariah IC. But once that’s done, will have to setup something with Viox to have a chat IC about what’s going to go down.
But yes, it’ll be fairly common knowledge once the DJO officially forms and people can make the jump to our ranks. Happy to run some timey-whimy magic if you want to write something out soon.
