With the conquest of Mustafar achieved, the Sith'ari, Viox Savage, found it more fitting to place the headquarters of the Blackguard Reborn on this lava world. Its historical significance, not only with the previous Blackguard but the Dark Side in general, proved to be a much worthy capital for the growing organization. Thus a Great Obelisk, styled in the old architecture of the ancient Sith, was erected on the spot where it lies. A testament to the power of the Dark Side faction and their growing significance in the galaxy.
This Obelisk serves as the main organ of the Blackguard Reborn, the training grounds for new and promising disciples, as well as the homes of those great names of the order and the many who fill its ranks. And it is from here that the Sith'ari rules with an iron fist.Use this as a general chat thread!

Malvus stood at the top of the stairs, leading up the Obelisk of the Blackguard. The temple was undergoing the last of its construction and it was truly an awe-inspiring sight to behold on the planet of Mustafar. It had taken a grand amount of resources, most of which were thanks to the efforts of Malvus in this region, but it was nearing completion. Personnel of the Blackguard and ranking members had already begun to move in and ensure there was life within its halls. The Sith Lord had seen a number of Sith Temples before; the ancient ones of Korriban and Dromund Kaas, the more recent ones on Kashyyyk, Eriadu and Pzob... the Mustafar Temple was certainly a gesture to the past, but a gateway to a new future and era for the Sith and the various practicioners of the Dark Side.
The Jen'ari turned away from the lava scenery to gaze up at the Obelisk, surveying the construction crews that were finishing up what remained. It was truly a marvel of construction and engineering. And today Lord Savage was making a visit to see how things were being finished. Malvus gazed up at the sky as a transport bringing the Sith'ari arrived and landed.

As the shuttle set down, the Sith'ari rose to his feet, flanked by his Praetorian Shadowtroopers. As the ramp lowered, he strode forth, exiting the craft. Before him stood the Dark Obelisk of the Blackguard Reborn, a testament to the might the Sith acquired in recent months. Construction was still being completed, but the Obelisk was finished enough to allow personnel to move in. Not breaking his stride, the Praetorian Guards fell into step behind him, coming to a halt as the Sith'ari stopped before Malvus. Garbed in sleek black armor reminiscent of Mandalorian Crusader apparel, trimmed in gold and crimson, bearing the Blackguard insignia on the chest, Savage inclined his head to acknowledge Malvus.
"Lord Malvus. I trust things have been proceeding accordingly, in my absence?"
Before allowing the Jen'ari to reply, he motioned to the shuttle, where several crates were being offloaded by dock hands.
"Reimbursement. For the resources you have poured into this project. Courtesy of our new Hutt allies."
A small smirk crossed his face as he returned his focus to Malvus.

Malvus turns to the SIth'ari, moving slightly out of his way to ensure the Zabrak had a better of the Obelisk.
All has been done in accordance with your plans and will, Lord Savage. Our third construction overseer has not disappointed us at all.
Still, it took three too many to get this project well underway and to see the construction take shape as it did. The only other concern brought up by the workers was the disappearance of several that worked closer to the lava lake below. Malvus suspected it was the vengeful spirit of Darth Vader that still lurked. A distant anger had been felt from time to time by those force sensitive... the bellow yells of anger and agony as Vader was burned.
His eyes turn to the crates being offloaded, causing the Sith's tentacles on his chin to twitch slightly in curiosity.
Reimbursement? What exactly did you gain from the Hutts, my Lord?

Nodding in acknowledgement of the construction proceeding as planned, he was pleased with how the Obelisk had turned out. Despite the failure of the first two overseers and the disappearances of several workers, it had proceeded as planned and was on schedule for completion. It was a good feeling to know that all of their combined efforts were about to be rewarded with this grand construct. Smirking slightly as the Jen'ari asked what was in the crates, the Sith'ari answered."Aside from a trade agreement concerning my surplus of Yarrock, a hefty payment of credits, along with several crates of weapons...the Hutts certainly know how to pay for trade, it would seem."

Credits were one thing, but weapons? Malvus wasn't sure what he would need of them. They were gifts from the Sith'ari nonetheless and they would be accepted and appreciated. The Sith turns his gaze back to the Zabrak, bowing his head in gratitude. As he raised his head, a crimson-cloaked figure appeared and knelt before the Jen'ari. A mask covered his face, making it hard to identify who he was.
My Lord Malvus, another worker has gone missing. Workers say they heard the ignition of a lightsaber this time.
Malvus heaves deeply, damn this spirit of Vader.
Gather the Sith Masters I brought here and send them down into the caverns. Conduct the ritual as usual.
The figure bows and departs swiftly from the presence of the Jen'ari.
My Sith Masters have been performing a daily ritual to keep the spirit of Vader under control. We will have to monitor the caverns frequently, Lord Savage.

The news of Vader's spirit afflicting the Obelisk was unsettling, but, having faced some version the the venerable Sith Lord during the Blackguard's raid on Vader's Castle, it made sense as to why the Sith's spirit was acting out even more now.
"Or, perhaps we use that to our advantage. Test the mettle of our acolytes against the restless spirit of the great Sith Lord?"
The Zabrak cocked an eyebrow in the Jen'ari's direction, seeing what he thought of the suggestion.

Malvus turns to see the Sith'ari looking at him.
It's one thing to let it be a test of the acolyte's mettle, but it's another if it takes potential recruits from us.
The Jen'ari could feel the lingering anger of Darth Vader flare beyond their sight. The ritual would begin soon to calm it's presence in order for the workers to finish their construction. Malvus did believe in the potential of what Viox spoke of though.
Though I do agree with your assessment, Sith'ari, we need to still keep the spirit under control.

Nodding, Viox agreed.
"Having faced some sort of apparition of the venerable Sith Lord when we raided the Castle, I would highly recommend we keep an eye on the spirit. Even in death, Vader is a formidable opponent, of that, I can personally attest to."
The apparition of Vader may not have been the full essence of the Sith Lord, but it had been powerful. Caution was certainly the best approach when handling the spirit of the Sith Lord, lest they start losing more than they bargained for.

We faced something similar on Pzob, if you recall the report I made to you.
The unknown Sith Lord that existed as a focus within the Dark Nexus beneath the Sith Temple. Teams had been sent below, since the Nexus came under control, in order to thoroughly examine what rested beneath. Treasure troves of ancient Sith artifacts and holocrons were being discovered in great quantities. It had been a neglected gold mine of history for the Sith, dating back to sometime after the fall of the Old Sith Empire.
As long as we can keep it placated, there should be no risk of it going wild... it will serve its purpose when the time is right.

Savage inclined his head.
"Of course it will. Now...how about a tour, Lord Malvus. I am eager to see just how well the construction crews did for myself."
Motioning for Malvus to lead the way, Savage and his Praetorian Shadowtroopers would fall into step behind him. Given the Obelisk's state of completion, it wouldn't be much longer now until it was completely finished. And it would serve to solidify the Blackguard's power within the galaxy.

Malvus motions to the Sith'ari to follow him over to where a holo-projector had been set up. Other Sith Masters gathered as the Jen'ari activated the projector, revealing a full holographic layout of the Obelisk from within. The Sith gestures to the complex.
There is still much to be done, so I figured we should stay out of the worker's way.
From there, Malvus began indicating room and facility in order, starting with the grand hall from which the Sith'ari would rule from. Barracks for soldiers, dorms for acolytes and recruits, specialized facilities for ranking members, the caverns, the archives... and even a path to the ruins of the old Blackguard temple.
I hope this has met your desires and plans, my Lord.

Scanning the holographic layout of the Obelisk, a small smile tugged at the corners of his mouth. It was perfect. Right down to the path to the old Blackguard temple. Aside from a manifestation of Darth Vader plaguing one of the caverns, it was perfect. And even that unexpected drawback would be turned into having a beneficial use.
"Lord Malvus. I am greatly pleased by what I am seeing. Everything, down to the stone work, is precise to the specifications I requested. You and your construction teams are to be commended. This was no small undertaking, and yet, here we are. Establishing our dominance within the galaxy once more. Beholden to no one."
The Sith continued to observe the holographic map of the Obelisk with a grin. The Blackguard Reborn, truly fit its namesake now.

Business as usual continued around and within the Obelisk. The Blackguard grew ever stronger with each passing day as more systems fell under their rule. Controlling only a handful of planets, the neighbouring systems also fell, pledging their allegiances to the Blackguard. Which further aided in the economic growth of the Sith-ruled nation. Mineral rich worlds were mined of their resources and the minerals were then transported to either Sullust or Mustafar for refinement and processing, eventually becoming ships or fighters. Some of the harvested materials ended up becoming weapons or armour, but generally the Sith had little use for such things, unless they wanted to stem the tide of a battle. Either way, economic growth continued at a persistent rate, granting the Blackguard greater access to a wider array of surplus from SorroSuub and any of their other shipyards and droid foundries. These were prosperous times for the Blackguard, indeed.

Having left Krokaa, Gavin began moving through the halls, one particular set before. There was a piece of the puzzle missing before he could begin his work on the new sword. He needed something for the hilt. It was meant to be black, just like the blade, so he could have opted to make it out of obsidian as well, but he had another thought in mind. So his hunt began, looking through both the forge and the Blackguard's cache of mineral resources. What he sought was a piece of onyx. Not exactly a gemstone, but a precious one none the less. It was but obe of many that his people used for decorations and jewelry.
As luck would have it, he was able to find some resting in the forge. Not a typical item used in weapon creation, but they did serve as adornment alongside other gems for those wishing for some exotic, elegant, or ceremonial. It had been a couple hours worth of searching, meaning that Krokaa might have had his crystal tuned and ready to place. Needing nothing else, he made his way back to the meditation chamber.

103rd Regiment - Abyss Battalion Abyss Battalion, of the 103rd Regiment, under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel Avery Winslow, had the prestigious duty of guarding and enforcing the laws of the Blackguard upon the Dark Obelisk. A lofty assignment, given the strength of those who resided here as well as the fact that this was the capital of the Blackguard itself, ensured that law breaking was minimal, justice was swift and punishments were harsh and instantaneous. Often death was the penalty, though a few of the resident Sith enjoyed torturing those who broke the law at their own leisure. Regardless, the highly polished crimson armored troopers were stationed along each floor at the entrances and exits and several patrols moved on foot throughout. One of the safest and, ironically, most dangerous places within the Imperium.

103rd Regiment - Abyss Battalion The business as usual pace continued within the Obelisk. Officers from the army and navy continued to come and go as needed to conduct their business. Acolytes and masters continued to utilize the training facilities as well as the archives, and the native populace would come and go, trading goods with Czerka's offices. All in all, it was calm and relatively quiet, which meant the men of Abyss Battalion could breathe easy for the time being.

103rd Regiment - Abyss Battalion. Security had increased significantly since Malvus and his ilk had fled the Imperium. Security scanners, biometric identification stations and an increase in armed troopers was indication of that. Despite this increase in security measures, however, life continued at the Obelisk as usual. While minorly inconvenient to some, it was just another part of life on Mustafar, within the Obelisk.

Dark Obelisk of the Blackguard.
With the order given to Rampant Savage, the A.I of the Sith'ari, Rampant was able to issue the order simultaneously across all of the affected worlds of the Blackguard Imperium. While one message was the same to each world, those included in Operation: FRACTURE would receive the green light to proceed officially.
Attention all Imperium Navy and Army personnel, per protocol 11.5-4, Order 212 is to be executed immediately by authority of the Sith'ari.
This would be the only message to play for the Imperium forces stationed on and around Mustafar, as there was no assigned Overseer. Though with Mustafar being the capital of the Blackguard Imperium, there was little concern about any sort of revolt or rebellion against the order given.
