So I had a thought that was brought up by an interaction in chat. How long do we hold on to spoilers before it is acceptable to talk about them? I know personally I dont care if someone comes right from the theater and tells me about the spoiler. Others care years later if they have not seen it. Now obviously I am not suggesting we create a x many day/week/month gag order on spoilers but I do want to see where everyone stands on spoilers.

I typically don't care. Because while you may spoil that this person shows up when or this person did this or this is how it ended, my mind can't imagine how it all played out. So even going into watching something finally, I still don't truly know how or when it happened.

I usually give it a couple weeks or so, depending on release

Personally, I don't talk about it unless the other person has seen the movie. If someone else happens to see the conversation?
