==Jedi Fly RP== +Tempest, Mary Cerulea+ <<124 ABY; R5 Sector, Korriban, Wilds, The Tempest>>
The ship was slow to open its access at first. For now most of the system were still locked out, other than the flight controls. It didn't know what to make of the new pilot yet. Was it a machine? It plugged in like the others. Was it organic? It didn't mesh and be absorbed like other machines. Time would tell.
Despite the unfamiliarity of handling a new ship, Mary thought the buckethead handled Tempest well for a first short hop. Within a few minutes they reached the crumpled remains of the Y-wing their passengers had arrived in. As expected, the neck of the craft had been snapped, likely by the same beast that attacked them. Fortunately, the cargo hatch looked mostly untouched.
Mary surveyed the damage through the Tempest's external sensors, all without unstrapping from the chair she was in. It was quite comfortable and she wasn't feeling the best, she might even wobble a bit if she tried to stand up. And that just wouldn't do. As she brought herself back into focus, she returned her attention to the broken ship. As it was, A Y-wing would be a tight fit in the Hanger, but broken nearly in half like that, it wouldn't be an issue. With a few short commands, the main door of the hanger swung upward, while the small collection of HV-7s on the ship drifted out. Working in concert like fingers on a single large hand, they picked up each piece of the ship. They started with the largest intact sections and quickly worked their way down to combing the sands for the smallest tossed fragments. Within a surprisingly short time, the hanger was closed again and the only sign outside of the wreck was the disturbed sands.
-Mary Ok, we have the ship. We can break it down or repair it as we go. Mira, where did you say we are heading next?
She remembered that info had been shared, but could seem to focus on what it actually had been though.

While the others busied themselves settling in to the ship or transferring supplies from the Mandalorian duos damaged transport, the Master Shaper found a comfortable seat on the Tempest's ramp, easing her rump onto the downwards slope with her knees tucked into her chest and her arms resting atop them. Two vibrant pink mqaaq'it stared out at the desolate wilderness beyond the landing site. Her first mission as a Jedi Knight had hardly gone as expected. They never located the archeological team, but they had found a few new companions. She smiled. Future friends, Force willing. Reaching up, Mira ran the mismatched digits of her eight fingered shaping hand through her dark hair, plucking a Zeilla flower from among the assortment of living things making a home of her flowing locks. She carefully worked at the smaller petals, pruning the dead to make room for new growth, playing an old Yuuzhan Vong game of chance as she pondered their future path.♪♪ "Endor, Coruscant, Naboo, Obroa-Skai, Nar Shaddaa..." ♪♪ Each world spoken aloud was accompanied by the pluck of a sad and sickly petal. ♪♪ "...Endor, Coruscant, Naboo, Obroa-Skai..." ♪♪ Inevitably, however, the Master Shaper had to run out of petals. -Mary Ok, we have the ship. We can break it down or repair it as we go. Mira, where did you say we are heading next? As the last petal fell to the ramp, a dry desert wind from Korriban's arid wastes blew the pile of petals into the air, scattering them like confetti. Mira stood, her Jedi robes billowing about her slender frame. She turned and faced Mary, her alien features conveying a resolute sort of seriousness. Her left hand formed a fist and smacked into the open palm of her right."Nar Shaddaa. The Force is telling me we should prioritize that mission." Her stomach groaned, and she looked down. "Or perhaps the tea isn't sitting right with me. Either way, tracking down a lost Loth Kitten will be a good opportunity to practice our teamwork skills. Plus I imagine we'll fit right in accompanied by a couple of menacing mercenary types." Stepping up to Mary, Mira reached forwards and took her apprentices remaining hand into her own, then placed the Zeilla flower she had been trimming upon Mary's palm. "You can even bring that gun you enjoy shooting so much, though I would much prefer you didn't use it. Besides..." She smiled devilishly. "...I seem to recall you're no slouch with a saber. We should practice on route. I'm afraid I need the training far more than you."

[ Ami-Lee Westar | Bridge | HT-2200 Medium Freighter - Tempest | The Wilds | Korriban ] Attn: House of D'Ordinii, Mira Yim, Erik Itera & Dar'Toral“I'm hardly menacing,” said Millie as she sauntered past, adjusting her hat and taking a seat at the sensor station. When they'd landed near the remains of the Y-Wing, she'd briefly, popped open the boarding ramp, and a white-orange ball with a small head rolled awkwardly in. Her little astromech, BB-Drunk, was now on the Tempest. After speaking to the excitable little machine, she'd had it go into her temporary quarters, to stay out of everyone's way. She then returned to the bridge in time to join the conversation with Mira, and found out where they were heading.
“Nar Shaddaa, eh?” Millie eyed the NaviCom, “big place to try lookin' for one li'l kitten. Or was that some kinda euphemism? Either way, lots of one thing or another there.”
She settled back in her seat, ready for a long journey.

[ Hammy the Jedi Hamster | Cockpit | HT-2200 Medium Freighter - Tempest | Korriban ] Attn: House of D'Ordinii, Mira Yim, Erik Itera & Dar'ToralHe had come out alive. As was the will of the Force, Hammy's time amongst the living was not at an end yet. Still, desiring no more time on the forsaken world, the fist-sized rodent had pursued the vessel on which he had been traversing...on the ground. For any other hamster, this would be an impossible feat. But the Force was his ally, and he was soon upon strange metallic land masses. He recognized this as what the large ones called ships. Though it was in pieces. In time, Hammy could rebuild it, but he sensed his destiny was in another form.
Specifically, the form of a blonde human woman lowering the boarding ramp of a functional ship, and a droid was rolling up the ramp. As the woman turned to talk to the droid, Hammy surged up the ramp and scampered into the cockpit, swiftly diving under the chair in the centre, where he found to his surprise, a hamster-sized door, and a warren that fed into the seat proper.
<< Grateful am I for your accommodations, >> said Hammy through the Force to the Tempest, for surely it was her act, << much is there for us all to do. Ready I will be, after some rest. >>
Clambering on all fours unto a hamster-shaped meditation chair (bed), Hammy closed his eyes, totally meditating and not sleeping.

==Jedi Fly RP== +Mary Cerulea+ <<124 ABY; R5 Sector, Korriban, Wilds, The Tempest>> Mary wasn't sure if the ship would let someone strange fly her that far yet, so she decided to make use of the autopilot function for now. It would be enough, if a somewhat bumpy ride. After entering the destination through her mask interface, she waited while the ship plotted the course and her passengers quickly strapped in to wherever was closest. After a long moment, the Tempest rocketed upward as though riding a column of fire, after all, it had learned to fly from Mary.TO: boards.jedivsith.com/post/159380/thread

A shuttle of unknown origin, jet black in color, save for a single image of a jagged moon in sword splashed on a single wing in blood red descends from Korribans orbit. Angling towards the darkside of the planet, a storm crashes against the horizon…
A few moments more and the shuttle lands before three stone pillars and a monolithic like box structure, another ship idles nearby and workers in black robes and droids scuttle about. Below the monolith a stairway descends into darkness. As the shuttle settles down and its ramp descends, twenty four figures begin walking down, twenty men with sewn shut mouths, three men in gray robes, and long beards. Last a beautiful girl of roughly 24 cycles, her hair blacker than the robes that adorned her shoulders, on her forehead in black the same symbol that adorns the ships is etched into the skin, stealing some of her beauty.
The twenty men with sewn shut mouths line up ten apiece in front of the stairs and step back, the girl walks forward and stops looking down, as two men from the worker crew approach. “Masters…We’re certain this is it…” They whispered hoarsely. “The last crew on Zoist thought the same.” A Gravelly voice replied… The reward for this find should be what they sought, after nearly two thousand years would be generous… “Let us descend…” A high pitched voice said one of other gray robed figures. The two workers bow down low and retreat. The three gray figures walk and stand behind the girl. Two of them place hands on her shoulders. “Now…” whispered one of them. The twenty men turn as though one and begin descending, the four others follow, as they walk past and ignore the inscription upon the monolith.
“Enter at your peril, for all those that do, doom upon you, and a plague upon the galaxy you have been warned…”
As they descended further into the depths, the stairs ended upon a barely lit room, perhaps twenty by thirty across and a small stone like door, etched into the back wall. Lights had been set up but even in this dank darkness they barely cast a glow. The twenty men lined up along the hall as the four approached the back wall. The twenty men began humming, etched into the stone square, the mark of Insanus. “At last… It’s him..” whispered one man. The girl walked forward as though entranced, then she placed her hands upon the mark and traced it lightly with her finger tips. After a moment she placed her palm on the stone, and pushed, not physically but with her mind. Suddenly the room shook, the lights tipped over and sparks flew from them, yet not a soul moved. Once more she pushed…then a crack of light appeared down the door she stepped back a gleam of mad delight in her eyes. As the stone rumbled and slid away, the storm outside intensified, a red glow behind the door began pulsing and at last the rumbles stopped… For a moment nothing happened, the girl stepped forward eagerly. Suddenly a pale white hand shot from the red glow and grabbed her throat, rather than shock or dismay the girl showed signs of elation. “Master…” She rasped as the hand became attached to a man in tattered black robes strode forward pushing her back, his eyes glowed not yellow but red, power seemed to wash over them. “Master..” The three gray robed men at the back of the hall bellowed and kneeled…The humming of the twenty offerings intensified. “Yes…” The pale man with sharp features, Anzat and human whispered, his voice at this moment like glass. “Yes…” Again he voiced, then he pulled the girl close stared into her eyes. “Your reward…” She bobbed her head eagerly, her eyes growing big. The pale man released her throat and instead curled his hand in her hair. “All of you will be commended…” He whispered then he yanked back her head stared into her eyes then, unlike a traditional Anzat, he plunged his sharpened teeth into the girls neck. She showed no fear, only relief as it happened. A small smile upon her black lips as blood dribbled from her chin. After a few minutes her heart stopped beating, the man tossed her aside and licked his lips… “Good…Good…” He stares back at the other men and begins walking forward. “Die..” As he walked forward the figures in gray, the men with sewn shut lips, brandished silver daggers and charged at one another stabbing and slashing with wild abandon, no screams only thuds and the squishing splashing sounds of blood hitting the ground. He nodded at the men who bowed low and turned and began walking up the stairs. Behind him the last man standing covered in ichor and entrails looked up at the figure at the base of the stairs. Insanus turned and looked at the figure. The figure held up the knife then plunged it repeatedly into its own gut doubling over. Insanus smiled and ascended the stairs… A new plague had been released upon the galaxy.
