(16) Bes'uliik fighters (1) Modified YT-1300 Freighter (3) Modified YT-1930 Freighters All descend from planetary orbit and make for Hyllyard City Spaceport. the four freighters set down in the center, facing outwards and the Bes'uliiks form a ring around the freighters all facing outwards as well.

The Bes'uliik pilots shut down their fighters and exited them making their way to the YT-1300. The crew of the YT-1930's also disembarked and boarded the YT-1300 Which bore the name Ijaat on it's bow and near the boarding ramp. Shortly thereafter, four mandalorians headed for the local inn. Six more mandalorians began to check the craft over for a readiness report. The rest of the mandalorians stayed in the YT-1300 in conference.

Four Mandalorians approach an inn in Hyllyard City.
One of the Mandalorians begins to talk to the manager of the Inn while two of the others begin milling about the lobby and inspecting the kitchen. The third unoccupied mandalorian took up a position on the other side of the room and watched the door from behind his visor. The manager agreed to rent the top floor and the roof to the mandalorians for 400 Credits a night, with the provision that the mandalorians would pay for any damage done to the rooms or the structure of the building. The First mandalorian laughed and held out his hand to shake the manager's hand.
My name is Ijaat Marev. It's going to be a pleasure doing business with you. *They shake hands, Ijaat hands the manager 25,000 Credits* That is for one month's rent. The spare change? Please, stock the kitchen well, clean up the top floor for us today, or hire someone to clean it up, I don't have a preference which you choose. After that, the rest of the money is just yours to remember us by. And if we do stay longer than a month, you can be assured you will receive another payment.

Three parties of two mandalorians exit the Freighter Ijaat and begin to move out into the city. One of the groups takes a speeder and heads to the market. Another group begins to walk the streets to get a feeling for the city and it's inhabitants. The last group begins to hike into the forest to get a feel for the wildlife around the planet. They're already aware of the planet's two major wild animals, the Yslamari lizards and the Vornskr packs. But they decide to get a better feel for the planet. Their helmets are already tuned to detect movement and cycle through filters in sub-screens to see if theres anything else to detect.

A plethora of transports, shuttles and landing craft descend on Hyllyard City from above. The craft almost overwhelm Hyllyard's small spaceport, taking up most of the available landing bays, and disgorge a horde of armored Mandalorians, droids, and technical personnel.
Under the watchful eye of their black and green armored commander, Colonel Darzeka Australis, the army begin the process of unloading the equipment needed to establish the Clan onworld. In a short while, heavy vehicles and liftloaders begin moving crates of cargo and equipment off the transports. Ori'rami'kade units sweep into Hyllyard, taking control of warehouses and other essential buildings. Most are unoccupied or disused, and those that are not are quickly vacated by the arrival of Mandalorian forces.
Overall, the mood of the civilians in the city seems relaxed to Darzeka. Used to seeing Mandalorians, and with good memories of Clan Australis, at least among the older settlers, there is no opposition to their arrival, and little to no trouble in the streets, which are nowhere near as crime-ridden as the first time the Clan had come to Myrkr.
As the unloading and setup process continues, Darzeka turns his attention to security. He dispatches squads of commandos into Hyllyard to begin a regular patrol schedule, and prepares to send a force into the forest to establish the first of many outposts. He also sets locations for the defensive emplacements and shield generators that will again prepare Hyllyard against any invasion attempts. The work moves at a steady pace, and the Clan personnel, military and civilian, begin to settle into life on Myrkr.

Mandalorian scanners on the planet's surface begin to beep with notifications of incoming data transmitions. Those opening these would find scans of the planet's surface mapping the topography and noteing the various resources. The map, for those who cared to trace it, was being transmitted from a Mandalorian Fleet in orbit around the planet. The updates came every couple hours revealing yet more topography including lakes, rivers, cliffs and cave openings

Ijaat, on the top floor of the Inn receives the transmission and begins filtering it for certain characteristics of terrain. He scans mostly along the cliff lines, and discards those cliffs which have caves that appear to be occupied, but marking the locations of the caves that appear to have no activity. Once he had five locations marked on the map, he called in one of the pilots and instructed him to take one of the YT-1930's and go scout out the 5 locations with four other warriors, and two Bes'uliik fighters as escort. Ijaat transmitted the 5 locations to the man's datapad and sent him off. Each time he received another update from a new section of the planet, he repeated the process waiting until there were 5 locations available to be reconed, and then calling for another pilot, until all three YT-1930's were being sent to different sectors, each with two Bes'uliiks to escort them.
As he assigned the last fighter escort to the freighter heading out to check the last of 15 locations for the day, he wondered if perhaps it was overkill to send all that firepower for what should just be a cartography mission. After all, to his knowledge, the only forces present on the planet were vode. No, he decided, it wasn't the other Mandos on the planet he was worried about at all. His father, Dral, Ijaat's father, who was now leading the planetary cartography endevour, had instructed all of them to prepare for the unexpected. He used to tell them, "If you think you will need one knife, bring three. If you make one plan, be prepared to resort to plan b... and plan c... and plan d. Because the first plan never works. Or if it does, its probably a trap." Besides, he reasoned, if any of the other Mando forces on the planet need backup, it wouldn't do for the Marev clan to be sitting idly by snoozing in their bunks.
With this in mind, he called for eight more fighter pilots and set up a two-wing quick reaction force on standby to respond to any distress signals. He instructed them to give Mandalorian IFF hails first priority, and then to request permission to respond to other hails for aid.

The shuttles touched down at the Hyllyard City spaceport, depositing the latest in the cities long history of Mandalorian occupiers. The warriors made short work of securing the cities points of strategic value, while the Settlers took up residence in empty housing that had been abandoned by the cities old occupants

Reconstruction efforts continued in Hyllyard City. New residential and business zones were being constructed, while the more rural folk purchased land to begin setting up farms for food. Others meanwhile, started looking into vornskr domestication and ysalamiri breeding programs. They were both still a little ways off, but plans were already being drawn up to make industries of them

The Prathivi settled to the surface of the planet surprisingly gently. The crew of the colony were master builders & well used to rapidly expanding the infrastructures of Socii Systems. The work here would be in many ways similar. After some talks with the local task masters, they had a good overview of the things they could work on as initial prep. One of the first issues was that the housing was fairly run down from lack of use over the last period. Picking out a small area to the north of the settlement, the Colony ship dispatched its automated digger craft. It wouldn't be pretty, but the strip-cut area would provide all the needed materials for the permacrete that would be made in the colony ship. Of course, once they were finished, they would seal the interiour of the crater & reroute a local river into the basin, forming it into the heart of what would become a beautiful & productive lake that would be significantly larger than the small 'city' that it would be built in support of. The permacrete was the same grade as would be used in starship landing pads, meaning the buildings would remain functional for centuries of solid use. The new 'lake' would be on the northern edge of the city. The habitation blocks would be to the east of the lake. The southern side would be eventually built up into a number of parks & other recreation areas. Just the construction planned by the colony ship would be able to support thousands of workers in what would amount to small studio apartments.
With knowledge of the planet's future plans to establish breeding facilities for various creatures, the north edge of the lake would be host to a wide range of creature pens, stalls, running fields & other required structures. With the city's lack of proper infrastructure in mind, the west side of the lake would be host to a large starport & other municipal structures. For the moment though, it was where the Prathivi was resting. All round the planned edge of the lake, a transportation system would be set up. The core of it would be a heavy duty monorail system that would completely encircle the future lake. Not only would it be robust enough to handle any heavy freight from the starport, it would also have enough linkages to handle to regular commuter traffic as well.
Very little of this actually had to be planned however, as it was more or less the standard layout used to uplift low tech, economically troubled, or war ravaged Socii Systems. Even the general layouts & designs that would be used for the livestock sections were already planned out. It wouldn't be particularly pretty while in progress, but once finished & the planned greenery had a chance to take root, it would be a rather attractive city, though one with a very strong functional aesthetic.

Some distance west of Hyllyard City
A huge heavy transport craft lumbers down into Myrkr's airspace from orbit. Bearing an Australis IFF in case any Mando'ade pick it up, the ship makes no transmissions, simply finding a space in the jungle canopy large enough to accomodate it, and settles down to Myrkr's surface.
The transport had been dispatched by Kaine himself on a most important mission. Once, long ago, the Clan had been based on Myrkr, and had utilized the local Ysalamiri wherever the Clan went in the galaxy. Now based elsewhere, the Clan needed a goodly supply of the lizards, a fundamental part of their strategic defence against Force users. Owing to the many years Australis had lived here, the Clan had a wealth of information and expertise on Ysalamiri, their care and safe transplantaion and transport techniques. Almost the entirety of that expertise was aboard the transport. Rather than send regular transports to Myrkr, the aliit alor had opted to do it all in one big go, and set up a small breeding and maintenance facility within MandalArms, so that the Clan based on Mandalore would still have ready access to the creatures.
Several loading ramps dropped from the craft, and well over a thousand personnel disembarked. Commandos by the score fanned out into the jungle in teams of four. They would take down any hostile wildlife, mainly the Vornskrs, and tag any Ysalamir they found for pickup by the collection teams, who worked rapidly to clear the jungles of the lizards where the Commandos had swept clear.
Each collection team member was experienced in Ysalamiri handling and care. It was a delicate operation to remove them safely from their perches and quickly transport them to potted trees pushed along by droids on a double row of 10 to each hoverdolly. Teams of droids brought full dollys with 20 trees and 20 ysalamiri each back to the transport, and rows of empty tree dollies followed the teams out as they collected the creatures. Handlers carefully massaged and soothed the little lizards and patiently waited for their tiny claws to retract, allowing them to be carefully, so carefully lifted off the branch and with a careful pivot, lifted, almost cradled, to their new home on the branch or trunk of a potted tree.
There was no need for nutrient frames. They had a limited time of use, and were better for taking the ysalamiri on one way trips into the field. Even undamaged, the creatures rarely survived the stress of the ordeal of being taken into combat. Trees were a superior option for transporting the creatures and housing them until they were needed. Australis had been doing this process for nearly three decades, and very few creatures were lost over the two day collection operation.
After only about 40 hours on world, the signal was given for the Commandos to pull back to the transport. The last hoverdollies were loaded into the transport's cavernous hangar, and the civilians quickly made their way back aboard. Last to board were the commandos, laughing and joking with one another, pointing out the new claw marks some sported on their beskar'gam, or the Vornskr trophies that hung here and there. Once all were aboard, the ramps retracted, and the massive transport roared back up into space.
In all, the operation had been a resounding success. No casualties, almost no Ysalamiri lost, everyone was going to get their bonus pay for beating collection targets and time targets, so every member of the crew was delighted with their efforts and the just rewards. They were all totally and completely exhausted, but their personal bank balances were all the healthier for it. General Kaine paid well for good work. Now, Clan Australis once again had a goodly supply of Ysalamiri.

With the aide of the crew of the Prathivi, the new settlers, and those that had been living on Myrkr since the last Mandalorian settlement, worked alongside one another towards completing Hyllyard City's expansion into a proper City. Work was expedited on the Vornskr training pens and Ysalamiri breeding farms. Elsewhere, more farms were being set up and the lands seeded. Life on Myrkr had so far progressed without much delays. There was the occasional work accident or injury caused by Vornskr's, but they were dealt with fairly quickly and did not pose too much of a larger issue thanks to the precautions the Settlers were taking

Several Weeks had passed since Clan Ordo had arrived to Myrkr. Construction on the City's expansion was progressing fairly closely to what had been expected. Although, several delays had set some areas back several weeks. But in the grand scheme of things, they were minor aberrations, and could be more easily fixed once more resources became available to pick up the slack. Tunx Ordo, the newly appointed Governor of Myrkr, was quite pleased to see everything happening. In all honesty, he was not too dissatisfied with the delays. Yes, the project was behind its mark. But without the project, Hyllyard City would have been no better off. With things as they stood now, they now had the start of an agricultural industry going. The first generation of domesticated Vornskr were being trained and bred. And a Ysalamiri breeding program was starting out.
Such progress was not something to laugh at. It was also a good indication of just what the future held in store for Myrkr, once the City was fully completed. As it stood, the project was 20% completed by the best estimates. There was still the rest of the crater to empty out, housing to be built, parks to be planted, a train network to be set up. Tunx could not complain about the lot in life he had been dealt, especially not here. Few governors were ever saddled with such successful projects, despite the set backs

==Myrkr Improvement SL== ==Gallicles's Hunt SL== <<107 PP; N7 Sector, Myrkr>>
Gallicles at last arrived on Myrkr. Public transportation had been surprisingly nice, but that was to be expected from ships run by the Imperium. He had needed to switch ships three times, first on a small GR75 hull fitted with a passenger module. From there he had spent a little time on a transfer station deep in empty space. From there, he had boarded one of the massive Lucrehulk passenger ships to travel out of the sector. Once he had arrived in the N7 sector it was time to hang out on another transfer station. After that was simply a case of waiting for the next flight to Myrkr. Unfortunately, since the smaller GR75 hulls didn't really have anything like portholes to look out, he wasn't able to get a good look at the Prathivi. Not that it mattered, he would get a good enough view of the colony as he walked from the landing port to the ship itself.
True enough, it was the first thing he saw after disembarking the GR75. The Spaceport was rather larger than a backwater world needed. But the Core ship sitting on one of the main landing pads still dominated the near scenery. True, the smaller ship had landed rather close to it, but still. You also had to take into consideration that the spaceport was more or less build around where the colony had landed, rather than the other way around. At nearly a thousand meters tall, the colony was also far taller than anything else in the otherwise fairly low slung city. Gallicles could also tell that the colony had a high concentration of builders. Mainly because the exterior of the hull had been fairly extensively modified with a number of non-standard formations & designs. Of course, all colonies became more personalized to their occupants over time, he just rarely saw them done to this extreme.
The meeting with the local governor didn't take too long. Mostly because he was too busy overseeing all the other construction projects going on around & through city in construction. A thousand details that had to be watched & monitored. In the end, he was being bumped over to one of the locals to co-ordinate the plans & layouts for the rancor & other beast pits that had yet to be finalized.

Grenn Ordo was sitting behind his desk, filing a half dozen reports and construction plans, when Gallicles was shown into his office by one of his assistants. Green paused from his work briefly, to stand and motion for Gallicles to take the seat just in front of his desk Su'cuy Ner'vod, What might I do for you today?

Gallicles nods respectfully at the administrator before taking the offered seat.
-Gallicles I am not good with words. I am good with animals. I am a hunter. A tracker. My skills are no longer needed at the rancor farm. I have heard you plan on hosting other dangerous creatures though. As well as requiring the pens to hold them.
The offer was fairly simple Gallicles wanted a place that he could be based out of to track & capture dangerous creatures. Making a home on a world that was planning on keeping heavy stocks of said animals only made sense. Of course, part of that would be the less exciting task of designing pens & holding areas to keep the animals both healthy & comfortable away from their natural sites.

Grenn had heard of Gallicles' work with the Rancor farm. The man having managed to capture several Rancor's and get them into pens. He pulled up the file on the man, reviewing the information he had. He was also not too surprised to learn that the hunter knew about future animal handling plans. Someone probably tipped him off, hoping Gallicles would secure the contract and give them some work as well You are certainly well informed... So far, we were looking to breed and train a variety of species. From the local Ysalamiri and Vornskr, to Rancor's and a small variety of other creatures. You've already proven yourself a capable hunter... The work is yours, if you would like it?

-Gallicles People talk. Drunks talk more. Yes, it is why I am here.
It was why he had traveled halfway across the galaxy. Of course, he hadn't heard any actual rumors. He just had a talent for guessing what others would do. When he learned how many rancors the colony here wanted, he got the feeling that they would want a greater range of beasts. He couldn't relate very well with people in this new age, but beasts never changed.

Within the confines of a ramshackle building, a TC-SC Infiltration Droid stood in the center of a dimly lit room. Before the droid, was a Barabel, a human and a few other informants. Puffing on a cigarette, the visage the droid was currently projecting shifted and spoke to the group."This is of the utmost importance. Provided you are certain you won't need any assistance, you are free to go, Mr. Saris. The rest of you, dismissed. @agentzero , a moment, if you will?"The Illusionist. Protege to one of the most influential men of his time. The Mysterious Man. Though, having gone to ground, the Illusionist knew better than to seek his mentor out. No, that would come in due time. Everything The Mysterious Man did had a purpose. And so now, his actions too, carried a purpose. And right now that purpose was to rebuild The Organization's assets enough to resume their mission. With the successful retrieval of the Gladiator-Class Star Destroyer and four dropships from Raxus Prime's orbit, they just needed a way to crew the ships. Waiting for the others to clear out and Zero to step forward, the Illusionist took another drag from his cigarette.
