As the ship's hatch opened, Kaan would see repair crews on station and ready to assist. Once given the clearance by the pilot, service droids and crew swarmed the freighter; performing rudimentary examinations of the hull and its breaches. A few crews ventured inside, checking on engines and other systems. It was hospitality and aid promised by the Acting Fleet Admiral, who appeared to not be present among the crowd.
Among those present were armed soldiers, Stormtroopers, bearing the markings of a foreign nation. The circle upon their shoulder pads was that of a black background with two diagonal strips towards the bottom right curve. Within the center was cross-shaped emblem; two layers and colored red. They stood quietly and almost motionless, some gazing at the wreckage pulled from space while others stood idly by. Officers dressed in grey uniforms walked outside and among the crowd, ensuring everything was under control.
Yet as Kaan walked into the hangar bay, one group moved to approach him. An officer flanked by six Stormtroopers, rifles in hand and at ease. The officer was a blonde hair male, crisp haircut and cleanly shaven. His uniform was entirely black with a few chevrons, indicating a Junior Lt. of the Navy. The male stops short of Kaan and bows calmly to the visitor. Quietly, the male gestures to an entry way of the hangar bay.
Follow me if you will, sir.

"After you, then..."
Kaan keeps a close eye on the officer and his escorts as they lead him out of the hanger. If anything, though, their appearance has added to the questions in his mind. Stormtroopers were not something commonly seen in anything but Dark Side armies. So, if this faction, whatever it was, was indeed of the Blessed Darkness, then..."your kind"...no matter. He'd discover the truth soon enough. He wasn't familiar with the logo that these troopers sported, but he sensed no immediate danger in accompanying them, though even without the Force augmenting his senses it was easy to tell that the relaxed stance and lack of hostility on the part of his hosts was clear sign of that. Not enough to convince him to drop his guard...but then few things did that. The hanger was spacious, he had noticed...and the layout he definitely recognized. Nebula-class. A fantastic ship...he had commanded one himself, once. They were beautiful weapons. Despite the unfamiliar surroundings, striding the corridors of a Star Destroyer whilst flanked by stormtroopers felt natural. He turned to the officer.
"Might I ask where we are going, Lieutenant...?"

The officer remained silent, even when questioned by Kaan. The journey down the hallway was as quiet as a tomb; only the boots of the Stormtroopers and the officer's feet broke the silence. Two more Stormtroopers soon appeared, guarding a door that was labeled Hangar Bay 10. The Stormtroopers saluted the officer who, in turn, looked at their guest. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a few cards.
You are to pilot the freighter, Golden Venture, to the surface of Eriadu. Your destination is the Tarkin Estates. The Golden Venture is a common sight to the locals and security, nothing will and can go wrong. The flight path has been programmed into the console. Your cards are for security purposes; your cargo is goods and supplies to the Estate. Hand them to the Estate's security on station in order to pass. The security crew will give you a new destination once all is cleared.
The officer turns away and keys the hangar bay to open, revealing a much smaller area than before. It was occupied by a rather ugly, but nonetheless sound 3-Z light freighter. A few service crewmen were refueling the ship when the officer entered with Kaan and the Stormtrooper escort. The Lt. gestures to the lowered ramp of the freighter.
All has been arranged. Your flight pattern has been recorded and documented, your arrival time and entry point of Eriadu space noted. During your time of absence, extensive repairs will be given to your personal ship. She will be ready for you when you are next available. Enjoy your stay on Eriadu.
Without another word, the Officer spins on his heel and walks away with the Stormtroopers, leaving Kaan with the clearance cards, a freighter and some service personnel nearby. Unknown to the possibly bewildered visitor, someone had managed to arrange everything within a short amount of time. An established network and shadowy central figure ensured everything ran smoothly.

Kaan is not at all used to the sort of dismissive treatment the young lieutenant gives him. In the past, any subordinate who would have dared to have take such a condescending tone with him would have had his spine pulled out of his body though his rib cage. A snarl escapes the Sith's lips as he watches the disappearing form. "Instructions?" he mutters to himself. His hand inches toward the pouch that conceals his lightsaber, fingers twitching, longing to grasp it and use it. "You DARE to...?". With a grimace and a great deal of willpower, he manages to force his rage under control, curling his fingers into a tight fist. Not yet...not now. The officer didn't know who and what he was. For all he was concerned, the Sith in front of him was likely nothing but another cargo freighter pilot...dregs, at best. Kaan makes his way into the cockpit of the provided craft and begins the flight sequence. One thing the officer said was true...despite its looks, the Venture seemed to be in good condition. It rose smoothly and handled well. His thoughts returned to the officer. Perhaps when he returned he would be able to...educate him in who it was he was dealing with. The idea made him grin as he imagined the young lieutenant in a torture restraint as the freighter glides out into space. Yessss...much better, indeed.
Pride of Seswanna, this is Golden Venture. We are clear of the hanger. Good hunting.
Looking forward to an uneventful ride compared to his last trek, Kaan turns the ship planetside, following the recorded instructions to the Tarkin Estates.

A new flotilla of ships is formed from what remains of the fleet protecting Eriadu. The Victus, a Victory II-class Star Destroyer and two Gladiator-class Star Destroyers are formed up into an arrow formation. Their hangars are full with close to six thousand Stormtroopers all together. The acting commander of this venture, an Eriaduan by the name of Taelros who holds command over the fleet and ground forces prepares to jump for hyperspace. A diplomatic attachment is placed among the crew for the purpose of a peaceful assimilation task. Within moments, the fleet jumps for hyperspace.

After a time, the Golden Venture returns to the Pride of Seswanna. Kaan docks with the ship after receiving clearance, then exits the hanger. He waits for a moment, going back over the steps it took to get him here the first time. Well...he knew the layout of these vessels, and which hanger he was in. He could make it there himself, he reasoned, and if not, he likely would be corrected. He starts walking, making his way back through the halls as his memory guides him.

The journey proved a simple one. Kaan reaches his destination with little trouble and enters the hanger. There, looking like it had just rolled out of the factory was the Icarus...along with several hundred stormtroopers information. They were expecting him, it seems, as they snap to attention the moment he enters. By the prow of his ship stands the the officer who Kaan had picked from the database, the young Lt. Kaine. The Sith strides between the ranks of soldiers and up to the young man, who salutes at his approach.
"Sir! Lt. Kaine reporting, sir. Ready for your orders."
Kaan nods. He would do. Respectful without being a toady was always a good sign, one he had looked for in all his past commanders, and encouraged in his more trusted soldiers. It denoted a certain intelligence over simpering fools who only sought to look good in his eyes. He hated scum like that...always whining, bowing more than standing, eager to agree with whatever he said. Creatures like that were worse that useless...fearful and worthless. He regards Kaine for a moment, then responds.
"At ease. You know who I am?"
"You are my superior, my lord."
"You know...what I am?"
a brief look of confusion crosses the man's face, with just a touch of indigence as his eyebrows narrow. His voice changes to a harder tone, with the words emphasized
"You are my superior...my lord."
The Sith Lord smiles. Respectful, intelligent, and discreet. He had struck a crystal cavern with this one. This was certainly someone who would be very useful to him in the future. But for now, the Sith decides, the plan must be implemented.
"Lieutenant Kaine. You will have the legion prepared to move at once, to the Pzob system. Once there, you will patrol the system for pirates that have been reported in the vicinity. You will make no attempt to engage them if you actually find them, but merely report their presence back to Eriadu. Follow their movements carefully until I rejoin you with new instructions."
"Yes, my lord. You will not be leading us there?"
"No. I have pressing business to attend to. I will rejoin you in approximately four standard days' time from now. Do not disappoint me, Kaine. he motions to a handful of the soldiers near him You four, with me."
The officer snaps another salute and moves to carry out his orders while Kaan boards his ship with his chosen squad of stormtroopers. It takes several hours for the transports and the men assigned to them to be readied, but soon enough the legion is ready to depart. With flashes of light, the transports vanish into hyperspace. Kaan, meanwhile, sets a different course after the legion has departed. He punches in the necessary coordinates to the newly refurbished computer. The AI interface flickers to life.
:: We are not leaving with the new legion, sir? ::
"No, Icks. We have one other thing to deal with. You have the coordinates."
:: Indeed sir...course plotted and laid in for Barab I. Engaging... ::
The newly rebuilt hyperdrive activates and the Icarus and its occupants vanish from view.

A sudden speck of material formed in the orbit around Eriadu, a ship exiting hyperspace became apparent. The Sith Infiltrator became idle, using it's on board scanners to detect its surroundings. The communicators on board were once again made active, attempting to make a connection with the security force planet side. A Comm channel opened between the two entities, and a droid began speaking with a quiet static in the background.

Some time would pass after the transmission was sent. The ships patrolling Eriadu's orbit remained casual and on their routines for now. No alarms went off, no reaction was made against the Sith Infiltrator. Yet a transmission would come in response, not from the orbiting vessels, but from Tarkin Estate's Security.
This is Tarkin Estate's Security. Infiltrator 91, you are cleared for landing at the Estates. Lord Tarkin is in his office and will be awaiting to meet with you.

The Estates transmissions were received promptly, and things began to happen as planned. HK-57 activated the ships thrusters, piloting the small craft towards the planet's surface.

Confirmed. Infiltrator 91 is making its descent now.

A single heavily damaged Hammerhead-Class Cruiser emerges from Hyperspace and glides into standard orbit. As this happens Zuka stands upon the bridge of the aging cruiser and stands watch over what is left of the bridge crew. Once the Equinox enters Eriadu's lower orbit Zuka nods to the communications officer.
=Equinox Communications Officer=
Attention Eriadu Flight Control. This is the Imperial Cruiser Equinox, we are transporting Lord Zuka Zammanee Tarkin of the most honorable House Tarkin. My lord respectfully requests an audience with Patriarch Madrigal Tarkin.
Upon hearing his esteemed uncle's name Zuka immediately takes note that he does not at all sense his uncle's powerful presence here. Zuka does however sense his cousin's presence on the surface and is intrigued.
The communications officer begins transmitting security codes that Zuka knows is out of date, but will at least be able to prove the identity of the Equinox in orbit.

The orbiting fleet over Eriadu intercepts the communication sent by the Equinox. Some of the commanders have raised eyebrows at the mentioned of Madrigal Tarkin, a man long since dead. Yet before they could reply, a transmission from the surface is sent, hailing Zuka's ship. Its origin was from that of the Tarkin Palace.
This is Tarkin Palace Security. Your security codes are outdated, but have been verified by the Lord Tarkin. Please adhere to planetary law and head to the coordinates of the Tarkin Palace. Lord Tarkin shall speak with you shortly after you have arrived.

As Zuka gazed out upon his homeworld he overheard the conversation unfolding between the surface and the communications officer. Before the officer could respond Zuka quickly spun around and began the trek towards the shuttle bay.
=Equinox Communications Officer=
Acknowledged Tarkin Palace Security, Lord Zammanee shall be departing momentarily.
As Zuka made his way through his aging vessel he reflected on old memories of his famed family. As Zuka waited for the turbo lift to arrive he took note of how slow the lift was running lately. That thought faded back to his family as he entered the lift. After a long ride in the turbo lift Zuka arrived on the correct level so he may depart of the surface.
Once Zuka was onboard the only Lambda Shuttle remaining coasted out of the shuttle bay of the cruiser and hummed toward the designated coordinates.

A speck of light flashed in high orbit, the calling card of a ship leaving hyperspace. From that temporary illumination flew a small speck, a shuttle. It was in communications range with orbital control, but it kept its silence. The trajectory of the ship was not one meant to land. Instead, it was one the assumed an orbit in the extreme reaches of the planet's gravity well. Only, as opposed to the normal orbital procedures, the ship was perpendicular to the planet, so that when the crew looked "forward" they would be looking at the planet.
Except, there was no crew. Simply one man crewed this Theta-class T-2c shuttle; one man and three droids. The man stood in the cockpit of the shuttle, wearing nothing but a pair of black, linen breeches. His bare feet tapped against the floor of the cockpit impatiently, while his bionic eyes whirred as they focused in and out of the planet. Across the man's eyesight, his bionic eyes displayed information about the planet below; anything from politics to what the favored sport of the planet was. He shook his head, still not comfortable with the idea of returning to civilization. But, this is where he was called to. A lingering connection from a life past by. He had met with his step-father from an eon ago, a few months back, but nothing ever came of that meeting. Until now. He was told to come to Eriadu if he still held to his Sith teachings.
Vallen did... in a way....
He reached down to the communications terminal and flicked a switch. A ping went out over the holonet; a request for communication. With it was the simple, previously recorded message: This is the Astral Codex requesting permission to land. Please provide a trajectory and coordinates to an available landing pad. The voice that the message was recorded in was not Vallen's. It was, instead, the cool, refreshing voices of a woman that he once bed. She was dead now, by her own stupidity. It was not smart to go to the bed chamber with Vallen, it was even less smart to try and rob him in the morning.
Vallen stood in the cockpit of the shuttle, arms crossed, and waited for a response. Somewhere within the depths of the shuttle, three droids buzzed about, tending to their daily duties.

An orbiting cruiser over the planet of Eriadu intercepted the trnamission from the lone Theta-class shuttle. A quick check of the IFF, followed by the transmission sent to the Tarkin Palace on Eriadu, would ensure a swift response to the orbiting shuttle. A transmission from Eriadu Planetary Security would respond.
Astral Codex, you are cleared for landing. You have been granted clearance to land at the Tarkin Estates in Eriadu City. Please adhere to all planetary and Ses-Trade Hegemony laws. Once you have landed, a steward will await you at the hangar bay. He will escort you to your destination.

A confirmation signal was transmitted from the Astral Codex and it's relative angle shifted slightly. Vallen sat down in the pilot's chair and spun up the thrusters. Slowly, yet with ease, the Theta-class shuttle edged forward, its acceleration low. Vallen was in no rush, nor did he want it to seem that he was excited to be here. He wasn't. To be more accurate, Vallen did not feel such trivial emotions any longer.
Slowly, the planet below grew larger and brighter, as the shuttle neared its surface. The ship started to shake slightly as it entered into the thicker levels of the atmosphere, though the deflector shields bore the brunt of turbulence and heat from re-entry. Vallen keyed in the coordinates of the landing pad at the Tarkin Estates and switched on the auto-pilot. The ship took over at this point, with Fixer, the R2-unit, guiding it from his terminal. Vallen disappeared into the depths of the ship and began to don his armor. The ship disappeared against the brilliant light of the planet.

Upon receiving word from Eriadu Flight Control the old Hammerhead Class Cruiser glides into the closest drydock orbiting Eriadu. What's left of the crew begin submitting sectional damage reports and maintenance logs. Once the docking clamps are secured the Equinox is greeted by an army of automated repair droids that immediately download the submitted damage reports and begin the repairs of the ship. It is cataloged that the ship will require extensive repairs as well are fresh payloads of armaments, not to mention a new power and shield system. It is very clear that the vessel saw major combat in the years of Zuka's absence.

*With a sudden burst of speed that dissipated in an instant, Gavin's YT-1930 emerged from hyperspace and began its final leg. From the cockpit, Gavin watched as the planet slowly grew before him as he closed. As he made his approach, he closed his eyes and focused again, feeling the one he sought upon the surface. But as he did this, he felt the sensation of another presence, one he knew. He couldn't help but smirk in thinking that of all people she'd with was him.
He also felt the presence of other strong wielders of the Force, all tied into the darkness. No doubt this place was another location in which the Sith resided. He found it intriguing that in all his times of randomly setting out and finding himself some where he hadn't completely planned on going, it was the Sith he encountered.
Suddenly, he heard a beeping noise as he looked to his sensors. The scans indicated a fleet in orbit. He wasn't surprised as just about any location had a fleet of some sort to protect their planet. Opening up a comm channel, he hailed the fleet so they didn't see him as a hostile and attempt to shoot him down.*
::Eriadu Orbital Control. This is Gavin Phoenix aboard the Eternal Phoenix requesting permission to land. I am the only passenger aboard my vessel and carry no illicit cargo. My intentions are not hostile as I'm seeking to meet with an old friend here.::

However, as protocol, the communication was sent planetside. What surprised the commander was how fast the response came from the surface. The transmission was relayed to Gavin, its sender was the Tarkin Estate Security Force. The voice of the Security Force's Captain could be heard in Gavin's ear.Eternal Phoenix, this is Tarkin Estate Security Force. Viceory Tarkin and the Ses-Trade Hegemony welcomes you to the planet and grants you permission to land at the Estate. Please abide all Hegemony and planetary law for the duration of your stay. *Gavin listened to the message, curiosity running within his mind. He had hailed the orbital fleet, yet the response came from a security force, one he guessed was planet-side. His plan was to land in one of the cities that was close to the presence he felt and find some way to interact with them should he not be capable of meeting up with them casually. But then again, he was certain if he could feel Malvus below, Malvus would feel him and had him directed to where he was. It was also possible his name was on a list that was allowed quicker access. After, by what he could tell, Nicademus knew of him to a degree. But these were thoughts for another time.*
::Copy that Tarkin Estate. I am beginning my approach now.::
*Closing the channel, the ship pressed forward with a quicker speed as it passed by the fleet and made its way to the planet below.*
