"Ulric....Ulric. I like the sound of that name..." Dice's eyes flitted back and forth and smiled serenely. "Your welcome." She wasn't quite sure how her being interested in 'DNA' titles could be considered helpful, I mean she just was being nosy. But she shrugged her shoulder and decided it was nice to be thanked today, and she would leave it at that. Dice's eyes marginally grew wider, 'Its not a good thing to get a smile from the dark sider is it?' she thought.

It was a name chosen at random. There have been plenty of Tarkins, but none by the name of Ulric. At least I will do the family more good than my scheming and meddling Uncle and his protege brat.
Valstrol keys the security once more as it goes back online, but this time, it knows that those within the confines of the Estate were allies, not intruders. He reaches over and keys for repair droids to go about repairing anything broken while service droids went about cleaning up the mess of Magna droids outside the Vault. The Sith then rises, looking around the Vault.
I always knew that someday I would set foot in here and be, not a member, but the leader of the Tarkin Family.

Dice moved back towards the desk, and looked at papers again. Noises drifted into the vault, its not like it was loud or anything. But at least now the estate did not sound like a ghost estate. "There anything else I should look through?" Unintentionally she was piling papers according to subject across the big desk.

The light drumming of fingers awoke the silence within the main chambers of the Tarkin Estate. Since the disappearance of the woman known as 'The Major,' leadership on Eriadu had changed. The reappearance of a Tarkin had caused this change. Clients sought patronage, Imperial 'nobility' sought favor and it seemed everyone desired to be in Lord Ulric Tarkin's good graces. Not only because he was a Tarkin, but because he was also a Sith. Not since the days of Cygnus, Raven and Adolph Tarkin had a Sith of their lineage ruled this planet. When Darth Malvus came to claim his lineage and rightful inheritance, Eriadu fell once more under Tarkin and Sith rule.
The light drumming of fingers came from Ulric Tarkin, also known as the Red One and Darth Malvus, as he quietly gazed at various reports and petitions. It had come with the trappings of ruling; listening to good and bad petitions, making decisions, proclaiming judgment and issuing laws. Eriadu was still a member of the Galactic Empire, though one of its farther possessions. It still followed Imperial law, jurisdiction and protocol; the million man army trained and left by 'the Major' ensured that Imperial law was enforced and possible dissidents silenced. Malvus smiled at the thought, a government based upon meritocracy supported by a strong military, planetary popularity and the loyalty of the people. What a magnificent form of governance. He pulled up a petition and examined it in the silence of his room; yet another client desiring work. Malvus sighed as he tossed it to the corner of the desk before picking up yet another.

The Red Star flashes across the sky as it dives into the traffic over Eriadu City. In the peripherals of his eyes, the Sith took note of an Eriadu Planetary Security escort as it dove in alongside his vessel. This got civilian ships to move out of the way. Malvus quietly maneuvered the ship in the direction of a massive construct, the heart of the Tarkin's power, the Tarkin Estate. The security vessels veer off as the Red Star moves towards an opening hangar bay. The engines begin to die down as the Sith maneuvers the ship into landing. Once they are landed, the Sith immediately gets up and walks to disembark from his ship, motioning quietly for his apprentice to follow.
Greeting the pair was a strong guard of white armored Stormtroopers, numbering thirty in total. Upon their shoulders were blue markings, detailing them as members of the Estate's security crew. Among there were a few security officers, all of who saluted at the sight of Lord Tarkin. One officer steps forth and bows to both master and apprentice.
My Lord, the necessary arrangements for your apprentice have been made. The servants are currently cleaning the bed and making sure that everything is comfortable for your apprentice's stay on Eriadu. All done within the strict guidelines for the visitation of guests.
Excellent, Colonel. You are all dismissed.
The Colonel bows to Malvus before turning on his heel. The soldiers and officers once more salute before departing to their regular stations. The Sith turns to Sarah who was ever so patient. A virtue of her Sith nature. He motions for her to follow.
First thing is first. In order to official declare our relationship as Master and Apprentice, you will need a Darth title, Sarah. I already know one that will fit you well. So I will not delay it any longer. We shall begin the ritual immediately so that you are anointed and officially brought into the fold of the Sith Order. I hope you are prepared for the vows you will take.

The descent down to the surface of the Eriadu was uneventful as I remained silent within the copilot's seat. My mind was focused what would take place here on this planet. Back on Korriban, Malvus told me that he would grant a Darth title upon me. This I took in pride, but I also wondered what would be in store for me as training began. Even with Shadow remaining silent from the Afterlife, I still had a burning desire to learn more about the realm of Sith Magic. While Malvus piloted the vessel over what is called Eriadu City, I turned my attention to the blackened skin of my left palm. I opened and closed my hand a few times and it still amazed me I felt no pain. The nerves within my hand were still quite alive, but the very nature of the magic I used against Malvus when I first met him hand scorched my hand black. This was the true nature of Sith Magic: Dark, Unpredictable, And Very Volatile. Even with all of that in mind, I wanted to learn. I wanted to push myself deeper into the dark embrace of the Force and uncover its secrets. But by going down this path, was I going along with Shadow's plan to pull himself back to the living world from the grip of the Afterlife? And if I did pull him back to this world, what would be next for me?
With all my heavy thought, I didn't notice that Malvus had cut through the heavy traffic around the spaceport and landed inside. Once we landed the vessel, Malvus stood from his chair and made his way to the exit ramp. I quickly made my way to follow him as I stood from my chair, grabbed my back, and followed suit to disembark. Once outside of the landing platform, a pair of Stormtropper came and greeted us. I watched them carefully, my hazel/yellow eyes switching back and forth from each one with caution. After hearing the all preparations had been made for me as I stayed here on Eriadu, I relaxed. When the Stormtroppers bowed and departed from Malvus and I, my master turned to me and informed me on what was to happen next. A sense of pride filled into my heart as Malvus informed me of his intention of dawning me with a Darth Title and formalize the the relationship between us as Student and Master. I respectfully bowed my head to Malvus as I responded to his offer.
"My lord, I am ready to give myself to your teachings. I feel the Dark Side's call upon my very life force. I want nothing more than to learn from you and grow as a Sith."

Malvus calmly walked down the hallways; trinkets lined all over the place on display and hung up between pillars and in areas where people could gawk and inspect them. The previous owners, Cygnus and Adulph, who were the Sith's relatives, were collectors of Sith artifacts and Imperial trinkets, as well as among other collector interests. The Estates felt more like a museum than a home, but it was indeed a home.
As Malvus walked to his destination, the Sith would pause in his stride as a droid rolls up, turning on its holoprojector. It seemed this was the transmission that the Imperial Officer from before spoke about. He reaches down and keys a pad on the droid. A holorecording flares to life. It revealed an Imperial Officer in his middle ages; crisp black hair, a scar on his upper right face, and an air of confidence. The male's chest swelled before speaking.Citizens of the Empire. Brothers and Sisters. Our most beloved Empire has been without her Emperor for a small time, but a time that feels and seems too long. Our hierarchy remains together, but as the holes begin to form, the structure begins to falter. Without the center, my fellow Imperial citizens, our Empire will fall to the hands of our enemies and those ambitious enough to grab at its remains, hoping to take a piece of this nation with them.Read more: jedivsith.boards.net/thread/2209/emperors-throne-room?page=10#ixzz3VeIyNtpuThe holorecording would last quite some time as the Imperial Officer spoke with charisma and determination. It was quite a rousing speech that would touch upon the very core of the Empire's spirit. As the recording continue, from the corner of his lips, a grin would appear upon the Sith's face. It seemed that an old acquaintance had taken the empty throne of Lord Sinistra and proclaimed himself Emperor. Eriadu would be under new management it seemed and possibly be made to fulfill its duty to the Empire. Eventually the speech would end with the frozen holo-image of the Imperial identified as Nicademus Delvardus. He keys for the droid to retract the projector and depart. The little droid whirled and scurried off.
A silence would fall upon the hallway before Malvus would burst out laughing. His bellowing voice boomed across the hallway, bouncing off everything and anything within the nearby vicinity. The Sith would laugh for awhile before grinning. It seems one of my old subordinates and students has proclaimed himself Emperor. The Imperial had more ambition within his heart that he portrayed. A fine Sith he would have made if he were force capable! Ahahahaha!!!

There was a long silence between Malvus and I after we departed from the landing platform and began our long walk . During this silence, I thought back on what Shadow implanted into my mind. It was sharp pain, like someone probing my frontal lobe for buried information. But instead of taking any knowledge from me, he gifted his own. And with that knowledge, I was able to alter the way I fought back on Korriban. Even my Force Lightning was different when I cast it toward the Sith King. But was that all that had changed with me or did Shadow leave something more? Before I could get into that terrifying line of thought, a rolling droid stopped before Malvus and I and displayed an Imperial Officer. Apparently it was a broadcast being played throughout the entire Galactic Empire and seemed to grab Malvus' attention. I ignored the holoimage. I really never had interest in politics nor had any love for politicians. The rant went on for a few minutes, giving me time to inspect the walls of the hallway Malvus and I had walked down When the droid turned and rolled off into the distance, Malvus let out a powerful laugh, effectively breaking the silence between the two of us. I turned to face him and listened to him as he spoke this new Emperor. I nodded slowly and gave a shy smile to hid my uncaring expression.
"I never had any love for politicians, my lord."

Malvus turns his gaze to his apprentice when she spoke. He pats her shoulder lightly.
You won't have to worry about them, my apprentice. I am experienced with politics so I can handle the work of a politician quite easily.
The Sith then starts walking forward some more down the massive hallway of the Tarkin Estates. He approaches a door guarded by a pair of heavily armed Stormtroopers. They snap to attention at the sight of their Lord. Malvus raises his hands and his fingers flick in a rapid movement. Within just a few moments, the large door creaked and groaned as it opened to reveal a rather dim room. Malvus glanced at Sarah before proceeding to enter the room where her anointing ceremony would be conducted.
It has been many generations since I anointed a Sith, Sarah. Not since the days of my adopted son, Darth Cadava. Not since the glorified days of the Neo-Sith Empire and the martial glory of my own master, Lord Mendacious. It has been many years since those days when I awoke from a deep slumber on Korriban to a new galaxy.

Malvus spoke of me not having to ever worry about the corruption and taint of galactic politicians, and I had to admit, it left me relieved. I came here with him to embrace the Dark Side of the Force and master the arts of Sith Magic, not be involved in the petty dealings of lesser man and women. When my master started to walk off again, I followed closely behind him with my hands cupped behind my back, giving me something of a professional appearance to the others in the hall. After a short while, we came up to a door guarded by two heavily armed Stormtroppers. I eyed them carefully then stared at the door the stood guard over. Whatever these two were protecting must be extremely important. With a wave of his hand, Malvus opened the doors to reveal a dimly lit room. I followed closely behind my master once more and responded to his statement with nothing but the truth.
"My lord, I am yours to command. Use me in your wisdom to achieve greatness."

Malvus waves to the door behind them, causing to close with a good thud. The Sith raises his hands; candles previously unseen lit up to reveal a circular room. The room was a meditation chamber created by Cygnus and now used for Malvus' purposes. Sith symbols lined the walls, painted in red upon the dark surface of the walls.
The Dark Lord calmly walked to the center of the room, removing thoughts from his mind and burdens on his shoulders so that could concentrate. He was beginning to free himself from the chains of life so that something could come forth. The moment the last of these burdens were lifted, a deep rumble within the Force was felt. This rumble would rise and rise until it burst forth from the very being of the Sith. It had been generations since the Dark Lord had done this, but for the first time in a long time, an ancient aura would settle upon his force signature after the rumble within the Force had ceased. This ancient presence felt to be a few thousand years, yet the body of Malvus seemed younger than that. Malvus had revealed his true age and power to his apprentice for the sake of the ceremony; the Dark Lord of the Sith had to be his true self in order to anoint his apprentice. So that Sarah may feel the power she could learn and harness through his teachings.
The Sith would calmly turn to face Sarah. His hand would raise, beckoning for her to come forth. Once she had done so, a sharp gesture from his finger pointed downward to the floor. As he began to speak, the Dark Lord's voice seemed to resonate throughout the room, causing the candles to flicker slightly.
Kneel, my apprentice.

As Malvus turned away from me and began to walk in the direction of the center of the room, I felt the air change in my dim surroundings. A heavy blanket of the Dark Side had fallen suddenly, bringing goosebumps to my exposed skin. Malvus turned around to face me and beckon me toward him but there was something different about him. Through the energy of the Dark Side, it would appear that Malvus had reverted to a younger version of him. Maybe...maybe this was how Malvus appeared when he was at his most powerful. I approached the Dark Lord and knelt before him as he demand, but as I dropped down to one knee, I felt an eerie chill travel down the base of my spine. He was here, and I didn't mean Malvus. Shadow was here, watching the developments unfold as I took my pledge to become an actual Sith. I felt Shadow's eyes upon me, but knew he was not physically in the room with Malvus and I. But here's what I found strange....I didn't detect any form of malice from Shadow. It was sort of like...glee? A scene of pride? All those emotions mixed into a blast that kept pushing deep into the surface of my skin. But instead of showing discomfort before my lord, I took the blunt and remained silent.

Malvus raises his hand before slowly placing a thumb upon the forehead of Sarah. A pulse within the Force was felt emulating from his thumb as his skin touched hers. The Sith closed his eyes for a moment, listening to the vibrations of the Force and the darkness within his apprentice. Words would begin to flow softly from his lips. The tongue he spoke was ancient, more ancient than he was. It was the voice of his forefathers and the language of his kin, the Sith.
Nwûl tash. Dzwol shâsotkun. Shâsotjontû châtsatul nu tyûk. Tyûkjontû châtsatul nu midwan. Midwanjontû châtsatul nu asha. Ashajontû kotswinot itsu nuyak. Wonoksh Qyâsik nun.
After the words ceased, the Sith would open his eyes to gaze down at Sarah. His lips would part, his voice resonating once more in the Common Tongue of the galaxy.
Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken. The Force shall free me.
A great pulse courses through the Force and resonates through Sarah's being as Malvus gave his apprentice the blessing of the Sith Lords. Thus anointed, a name would form within his name. A Darth name worthy of his apprentice. His finger reaches over to a candle nearby, a lone candle. The flames licked the edges of his crimson skin as the Sith spoke.
You knelt as Sarah Dillard, but you shall rise, my apprentice, as Darth...Saress.
The candle was extinguished with the clutch of his fingers. His other hand reached over and flicked slightly, causing a new candle to light opposite of the one he extinguished. Both hands stretched out, he calmly gestures to the extinguished one first.
You shall cease to be Sarah Dillard today...cease to be who you were before...
Then his other hand gestures to the newly lit candle that blazed brightly. His own Sith eyes illuminated by the amber glow of the candle. His gaze would slowly fall upon Sarah, now re-christened as Darth Saress. His gaze was dark and terrible, cold and bitter, commanding and powerful.
...And you shall rise as Darth Saress. Embrace this identity! Embrace who you are now, Saress! Rise and claim what is rightfully yours! Rise and become Darth Saress!!

In my mind's eye, I could see Shadow staring down at me as I knelt, his cold yellow eyes watching me before an actual Sith Lord. Had all of this what Shadow wanted for me? But before I could focus on the meaning of that question, Malvus pressed one of his thumbs against my forehead, sending a shattering wave of the Force throughout my body. I felt the Darkness envelop from the moment of contact between Malvus and I. A massive roar began within my mind as the Darkness started taking control of my entire being. I felt myself....falling. It was as if I was falling deep into the well of Darkness yet the further I fell, the stronger my connection to the Dark Side of the Force became. Memories of my childhood flashed before me as the Dark Side began its change within my very being. I could see myself back in the orphanage and the little girl laying before me, her knee completely shattered from the Force Crush. Everything blurred before me, then I suddenly found myself before my former Sith Master. His cold black eyes looked down upon me as I broke my body and spirit, pushing me deeper into the embrace of the Dark Side. And now....I was kneeling before a Dark Lord of the Sith. Everything within my was changing as Lord Malvus spoke in a language, which I believed to be the original Sith tongue. When Malvus switched to basic and spoke the Sith Code, I repeated after him, my heart never more focused on a cause.
"Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Though passion, I gain strength. Though strength, I gain power. Though power, I gain victory. Though victory, my chains are broken. The Force Shall Set Me Free."
A pulse of the Dark Side echoed throughout the room as I committed myself to the Sith Code. It wasn't just a saying to me anymore. It was me. The words of the Sith Code repeated within my mind as I was brought closer to the center of the Dark Side. I could feel it brushing against my skin, holding me and embracing my flesh. Shadow, who had been watching me this entire time from the realm of the atferlife had vanished without a trace. I don't know if I should take this as a good sign or not, but for now, he was an after thought. My mind was focused upon being one with the Dark Side and using it to gain the power to destroy or control my enemies. No longer would I be that brash, impulsive young Sith woman. I was now a Sith Lord, powerful, deadly, not to be taken lightly. I then heard Malvus' voice calling out to me, but it wasn't my birthname. It was something new, yet familiar from my embrace of the Dark Side of the Force. The name echoed itself throughout my mind as I stood up at Malvus' request and faced my Lord. My eyes were no longer that hazel shade of yellow. I had embraced the Dark Side, touched it with my very being, which turned my pupils into a crimson shade of red. No longer would I be known as Sarah Dillard. With the Dark Blessings of my master, I was now, and forever more....Darth Saress

The unmarked shuttle that bore Caed Maas, Lord of the Dark Tide and Hand of the Emperor, drifted over the landscape of the planet Eriadu towards the seat of power here; the Tarkin Estate. The wings of the Lambda-Class cut through the air effortlessly as the powerful engines guided the craft towards the estate, sweeping upwards to lock into position as it cruised through the hangar bay doors to settle delicately to the surface.
Caed had already readied himself in the main hold as the ship landed with barely a tremor in the cavernous bay, the two female acolytes flanking him as he made his way to the lowering ramp. At an inch or so under six feet in height, and dressed in rather plain black robes, he didn't particularily cut an impressive figure yet there was an air of menace that went with him letting none mistake his obvious power and authority. It was a show of course. As an assassin by trade he was far more at ease and adept at remaining unobtrusive, rather than partaking to such political pomp. Still, when he was needed for such a task he took it on like a boss. While the robes were rather plain in design there was no mistaking the quality of the weave. Understaded and elegant was the song they sung, as were the slightly light clothing his acolytes sported.
With an honour guards of twelve troopers in all the glory Imperial ceremony dictated falling in behind him, an extravagance but one that was necessary to keep up appearances, the procession stepped out to meet the planets representatives...

With the Dark Blessings of my master, I was now, and forever more....Darth Saress The moment of this monumental occasion did not last as Malvus' comlink went off. He calmly reaches down and keys it, revealing Commander Taggert from before. He nods his head to the Commander.Speak quickly, you are interrupting something important, Commander.Forgive me, my Lord, but a certain Lord Caed Maas has arrived. He was sent by the Emperor it seems.Ah! Finally, a delegation from the Emperor himself. I suspect you have already given them clearance.Indeed, my Lord, they are landing at the hangar bay of the Estate shortly.Thank you, Commander. The comlink image vanishes shortly after. Malvus turns to his apprentice who was still within the room. You are free to wander for now, my apprentice. However, you are also more than welcomed to join me in welcoming the Imperial delegation. However, since I know you are not fond of politics, I will not demand that you do so.With that, Malvus would turn and walk off. Whether his apprentice followed or not was not his concern at the moment. He could sense the stormtroopers being sent to the hangar bay, as well as the approaching Sith presence of this Caed Maas. With an honour guards of twelve troopers in all the glory Imperial ceremony dictated falling in behind him, an extravagance but one that was necessary to keep up appearances, the procession stepped out to meet the planets representatives...
Upon the disembarking of the Imperial delegation, led by Caed Maas, Hand of the Emperor, the sight of neatly arrayed Stormtroopers, bearing the markings of the Estate's security force, were arrayed on either side of an isle formed between the two sections of troopers. Officers were also present before their command sections, giving salutes to Caed Maas as he moved towards the main section of the welcoming party.
At the far end stood Commander Taggert, who was the commanding officer of the Tarkin Estate's security force and one of the advisors to Lord Tarkin. Among him were other high-ranking officials and commanders, all wearing the appropriate dress for welcoming delegations. At the center of them all stood a rather tall male who had the appearance of the Sith species. Malvus stood at the front of his officers and cabinet members, watching the Imperial delegation approach. When Caed Maas finally came close enough, the officials and officers bowed...all except Malvus who stood as defiant as a statue. After a few moments of silence, Malvus would speak.Seems my former pupil has risen very high within just a short amount of time. Nicademus was far more ambitious than I thought he was. Then again, he must have gotten such a taste for ambition from his father and the fact that he is a Delvardus.

The procession from Kuat crossed the space from the foot of the shuttles ramp to the welcoming party in military precision, a steady pace of steps that kept everyone in their correct place. With Caed at the head with his two acolytes flanking behind him, he came to a halt in front of the tall, red-skinned being.
The expression on Caed's face gave nothing away, remaining impassive in the extreme. The sense of him also was rather bland, just a slow, steady simmer of darkness that was to be expected of one of his persuasion. Behind the wall of indifference he was rather amused at the ceremony involved with this encounter and suspected that the man standing opposite him was also somewhat dubious as to the necessity of the political formality. Then again, the man cut a far more impressive figure than did Caed with his impressive height and noble demeanor, and perhaps would seek to use such attributes to his advantage as Caed did his subtleties.
The thought drifted lazily through Caed's mind as he also allowed a heavy pause to hang heavily between them, waiting for the level of discomfort to rise in the officers that attended them. Though he took careful note of the others present his golden eyes continued to remained locked on the scarlet orbs of Darth Malvus, watching the other carefully.
When he finally spoke his voice was its usual dry whisper that nevertheless carried sufficiently for all to hear, his posture that of someone completely at ease in his surroundings.
"You would know better than I, Malvus..."
He purposely left out the 'Lord' on account of Malvus not deigning to grace him with even a nod of respect. Two could play the veiled insult game.
"I assumed you sent him to take command. Bold of him to act in such a way and seize power... Rising himself above you even."
His tone was wry, containing a light trace of rebuke that was far to slight to be firmly identified as scorn.

As my eyes opened up for the first time as Darth Saress, I felt my old nature burning from within me in a matter of seconds. No longer was I a rash young woman with an impulsive attitude. I was now a Sith Lord, with all the title and privileges that came along with it. In the deep of my mind, I could feel Shadow there, lingering and waiting for me to grow and develop my power. But now, it was time to train and gain wisdom from my lord, Malvus. When he spoke to me about going to meet someone, I nodded to him and suggested that I did not mind accompanying him. As Malvus made his way out of the dimly lit chamber, I followed him with my hands cupped in front of me. The walk was not long, but gave still gave me time to think of the choice I just made. I had transcended the barrier between a Sithling and a Sith Lord and now, I would only grow stronger. Malvus greeted his guest, yet I remained silent. It was not my place to speak during such meetings, nor was it my business. Once this was concluded -hopefully soon-, I would search this city and build my very own lightsaber.

Much to Caed's possibly dismay at attempting to a play game with Malvus, the lack of the Sith's title attached to his name went unnoticed. Some of the officers shuffled slightly, but Malvus could hardly care less. A title was a title; an attachment, nothing more. If he were to be called Malvus by this Caed Maas, so be it. The added on insult pertaining that Nicademus rose higher than him also flew over his bald red scalp.
In response to the question presented by the floating Sith, Malvus would chuckle lightly and shook his head.Hardly my doing at all. Shortly after the Imperial Remnant was assimilated into the Galactic Empire and Nicademus was made Moff of the Deep Core, I left for the Outer Rim to follow my own agenda. Whoever it was that tugged at the Emperor's strings of ambition did a good job at it though.Malvus had always wondered privately as to who had incited his former subordinate to rise to the rank of Emperor. Whoever it was had a great amount of influence and close connection to the Emperor. Possibly someone from his Imperial Remnant days. Such an issue was unnecessary to ponder further on about.
After his private thoughts, Malvus decided that he would not delay any further. Caed must have come here for business and so they shall get to business immediately. The Sith would gesture off towards a corridor that led further into the Estates's complex.Shall we take a walk and talk? I suspect that with such a high-ranking official of the Empire visiting Eriadu and seeking me out directly, there has to be an agenda and purpose that drove you to this part of the Outer Rim. Most likely by the Emperor's command.

With an inclination of the head Caed moved forward to fall into step beside his host, indifferent of whether the retinue would follow or not, though he did take note of the young, dark-haired female that attended Malvus. She exuded power though it tasted new and untried to him. His presence flicked over her briefly, like a tongue tasting the air as he passed, amber eyes blazing as they took her in. Interesting but not important at this time as he returned his attention to the tall Sith. He'd allow those of Malvus' escort and his own to sort such a thing out among themselves, all of them likely better positioned to know such etiquette than he. All except his acolytes of course who needed no such knowledge. A mental nudge was all that was needed to tow them along in his wake, drifting off to his left hand side like a couple of tame grey rain clouds.
"The Emperor requested my presence here, yes..."
As soon as he had said it he hid a frown of annoyance at his need to state the distinction, his pride once again interfering with him conduct. Iniquitous had once said his pride would be something that would trip him up and the Faceless Lords words continued to prove true. He continued on without missing a beat, washing away the slip with his words.
"It is his desire to consolidate our holdings and bring firm Imperial control to our territory. It has been a time of upheaval so a firm hand is needed to prevent any erosion..."
He glanced to his right as they walked, twisting his head slightly to look at Malvus.
"With that in mind my purpose here is two-fold. First I am here to pick up the troops Major was training here..."
He paused as his eyebrow arched, waiting for a reaction from Malvus.
