Malvus noted her enthusiasm towards being trained. It was good to have a motivated apprentice. The pair ascended to the library above once more. When they returned, there were a few droids rolling around; most likely assigned to librarian roles as they rolled down various aisles, checking on books and realigning them. The Sith would gesture to the aisles of texts and tomes, walking down the ends of each row.
As my apprentice, you are granted full access to the library that has been cultivated and collected by many Tarkins before me. These tomes and texts not only include military manuals, diplomatic archives and texts of history, but also books upon our Order, our history and our power. Some of these texts include methods of using the Dark Side, words of mad geniuses and personal journals of powerful Sith.
He pauses for a moment to gaze down at Luxeria.
Though I may not always be available personally, you may find me either in the meditation chambers, the library, the sparring fields or my personal quarters at times when I am available. I still must rule a planet and continue with my own research, but you will still find benefits and a means of advancement. Whether by my personal teachings or through the hundreds of texts within this room alone.
The Sith takes a book from the mechanical arms of a passing droid. He holds it gently within his gloved palms.
I will ensure that you will gain knowledge, and thus power, by whatever means necessary. Whether they be directly or indirectly acquired through word, training, reading and experience. For no matter where you gain it, knowledge is still power. Even if that power comes from watching an argument between two persons. You learn their differences, their positions and thus are able to exploit both sides with this knowledge.

Luxeria stepped out of the lift and followed Malvus into the library, noticing the droids carrying on. She listened to his words, understanding their meaning. She looked around to the vast knowledge that lay before her. So much just at her fingertips, but for someone in her position, he vast knowledge would have to wait. What mattered now was understanding her own power, grasping the depths of it and sort out the person she wished herself to be. When she achieved these things, the greater knowledge would then be accessed.
She took a deep breath. "Indeed. I, too, understand that knowledge is power and without it, you are nothing. However, before one can delve into the depths of such knowledge, one must understand themselves and take the steps to acquire that knowledge. For me, there is much ground to cover. I Know what I want of myself, the power to control, but to get there, I must understand the path that needs to be taken."
She turned her gaze up to him. "For two years after being denied training by the Jedi, I focused my time understanding the only thing I knew: telekinesis. It wasn't until my first encounter with Andor that I truly began to realize just what a person who wielded the Force could do. In his...motivation, I instinctively used what I later learned to be Force Burst and Repulse. Later, in a spar against Andor's second apprentice, Lura, he fueled us with power, letting us see what we could do when we got stronger. I saw my first use of Force Speed, along with the ability to creates copies of myself for confusion, Force Lightning, as well as Stasis Field. When it came to combat, I saw that I was a quick, graceful, and acrobatic in my movements, occasionally applying any strength." She paused for only a moment before continuing on. "Though I've been told that I should be ready to kill to gain the power I seek, and I will if that's what it takes, I see death differently than others. Unless a person serves a better purpose to me dead, killing is meaningless. I wish to control, if possible, by people following me by free will. If they don't freely, then I simply make them feel they do so willingly through persuasion. To each that is more resistant than the next, I increase my control until I fully dominate one's mind. But some serve a better purpose as an example. No matter how creative, death is common and anyone can do it. I want people that are too strong willed to be controlled to be afraid, break their minds and bodies and make them beg for death, but never grant it. Let spread what happens to those who defy me. Yet, that only goes so far, which makes me want to gain power and skill to fight and defeat others in a straight up conflict, should I have to."

Malvus listens to his apprentice. Despite her age and what training she has had so far, Luxeria exhibited a great deal of brains. She must have done her homework and research well to understand what she was going to do with her power, how to acquire it and who to learn from. The Sith would continue strolling for now through the library with the female following him. Not much long after she had spoken, a large chair and a pair of desks were seen ahead of them. The imposing Sith would take his seat upon the chair, leaning back with his fingers gently touching one of the tendrils upon his chin. Malvus thought for a moment upon the words of his apprentice before speaking.
You speak not like a Sith apprentice, Luxeria. No, in fact, you remind me of my former wife, the Lady San Zabar Horica. A woman who would understand you more than you can imagine. It seems to me though, that your past masters have held you back. Your training was only set to a certain level before they feared that your knowledge would expand beyond theirs and thus your power would exceed beyond them. It is always the fear of Sith Masters that their apprentice will advance in strides, meaning that they will be closer to their deaths than they realize it.
Malvus had never known such fear before. Whereas some Sith would find the knowledge they need and leave it at that, the Sith always saw each day as a day of learning, a new time period to expand one's knowledge. And at his rate, the Sith Lord was far beyond Luxeria. Yet there was a fear deep within his heart and it was the fear of her potential, the great potential the female had. Unlike his previous apprentices, she seemed a level far beyond them. And that was the ultimate factor in accepting her request.
Since you have already been tested and given a taste of power in the most basic forms, perhaps I should introduce you to more intermediate and advance forms of the Dark Side. Just as Andor empowered you, I shall do the same. I wish to test your potential rather than let you taste the power. For I feel you should be given more advance lessons than that a Sithling.

Luxeria stood before Malvus as he spoke. Despite her training and her placement as an apprentice, to hear from such a master with the power Malvus seemed to possess feel she was at a higher level than an apprentice. Still, she couldn't afford ego. She may felt herself worth something, but she was still at the bottom of the barrel.
"Andor was the only master I've had prior to coming here. And for only a few months have I had any training with him. I'm not sure as to whether I was held back or not. However, after the initial meeting in the detention cell, he had me seek him out to prove worthy of his training. I did and during that meeting did he tell me my goal was to surpass him and kill him."
When he spoke of moving on to the greater forms of power within the Dark-side, the idea excited her, but there was one thing that burdened her mind. It was something she would share with him. It was, in her mind, a limitation and one she planned to change. "I will say this. Hearing the words of Master Andor, seeing the display in combat against Lura, I know one thing about myself. I lack the pain, the experiences, or the motivated emotions to descend into the darkness. I lived a fairly smooth life with barely any issues. What bit I have felt are but petty feelings that mean nothing after so long. Sith draw upon those emotions, those feelings. I saw it in battle against Lura. Even with more training than her, she connected and grew in that power more than I. But I have the logic and understanding to focus and channel it better. That logic also causes problems when I come to understand the purpose behind the harsh training. It lessens the impact of it. The darkness I hold is from me simple desire to pursue it without outside influence."

Malvus would remain quiet for a moment as Luxeria spoke of her flaw. Slowly, the Sith rose from his seated position, with a sort of dark grace suited for a man of his status and stature. In many occasions, the Sith Lord had learned of masters who tortured their apprentices that lacked what they needed to become Sith. Whereas words and displays of combat had been given to Luxeria, now it was time to make his apprentice feel hatred.
Then you need a different style of opening training, Luxeria... It would be hard to go searching the galaxy for you to find experiences needed to tap into your potential as a Sith. Instead, we will try a much more...immediate method.
And without another word spoken, the cloak upon the Sith was whipped off and thrown to the side. With fast reflexes, a lightsaber flared to life within Malvus's hands and his other hand rises, his fingertips aimed directly at Luxeria. Lightning crackles from his wrists, along his palms and towards his fingers as the Dark Side is called upon by the Sith. A split second pauses before the air crackles with power as Malvus unleashes a strong wave of Force Lightning. Its target: Luxeria.
Then I shall teach you hatred and pain myself!

Luxeria didn't move as Malvus stood. As she thought, this issue presented a problem when trying to be a Sith, to learn the greater powers involved. She said nothing at his first words, aside from let the pack she carried fall to the floor. When his cloaked was thrown to the side, his lightsaber come to life in his hand while his other began to spark, she knew what was coming. It had been preformed once by Andor on that first day. It caused hatred and anger towards him. It was amplified when he told her her task was to kill him. But while the pain was there, the hatred had faded with understanding. That one time was all she needed to know when it was about to happen again.
She didn't move as the lightning shot at her and consumed her body. Her head shot up a bit at the sudden flare of pain, but her hands remained loose and there were no cries of pain. She continued to stand as if in defiance against the pain as her fists slowly closed and tightened and head head dropped. Her eyes then began to open as her body began to shake, her green eyes now blood red as she looked at him. While she still hadn't faced much experiences of pain, her mind had become stronger over the passed few months, thus letting her threshold for pain increase a little.
Still, she knew what was happening, why he was doing it. At most, she was irritated that her words seemed to fall on deaf ears. When she mentioned the harsh training having less effects in adding to her emotions and pain, this was what she spoke of. Still, she allowed it to happen, looking to see if there was any change in this experience. But there seemed to be none that helped. All it did was sharpen her focus. It was good minute before she fell to a knee, though her gaze never left Malvus. She knew she had to end it. The way she stood to it would show him that it wasn't working and that more power needed to be applied, or that's what she figured. If she didn't stop it, it was possible he'd kill her just to make her feel the pain.
With a shaky hand, her right hand extended out a bit to her side. Her focus allowed for the pack to open and her lightsaber Andor had given her to fly from it into her hands. She ignited the blade and lifted it up front of her to catch the lightning and keep it from her. As the lightning changed its target, the residual energy still sparked along her body a bit, a little smoke coming from her clothes. Her breaths were heavy and her body shook, but her eyes remained unchanged.

As Luxeria began to react, Malvus formed new thoughts within his mind. Manipulation was the key to ensuring Luxeria had the emotions needed to become a full Sith. As her lightsaber was drawn and the force lightning reflected, the Sith retracted his attack before raising his hand again. The lights flickered within the library as a black mist rolled in. Smoke-like tendrils reached towards Malvus as his lightsaber was deactivated. The last thing seen from him by Luxeria was a grin upon his face. Then, the Sith was gone...
It was at that moment that one could realize that the droids were gone. The library was voided of all machines and personnel. Yet an eerie silence and dark presence fell upon the room. Even though Malvus had vanished into the black mist, his presence was still felt. But for some reason, it was felt all over the room. After a few moments, his voice began to speak.
I wonder why the Jedi never accepted you, Luxeria. Perhaps they thought you weren't worthy to join their ranks; they are an exclusive club within the galaxy after all. Perhaps they felt you were too privileged, enjoyed an easy life whereas many of them endured trials.
The Sith was using his mastered Force Persuasion in the hopes of tapping into Luxeria's true emotions. He could feel them within her, they were waiting to be touched again, to be released once more. Malvus had to see it for himself; if the fear and hatred of the past could, at least, begin her training. And perhaps future fears could lead to further power.
No... there is more than just that. There was a man, I can sense, a man who denied you unlike the others. The Jedi did not want you around because you could deceive them, make them forget their true duties to the Force. They could sense the denial thrown upon you, the sense of lust upon you. The lust for power. They denied you what was rightfully yours, Luxeria... all because they would rather see you be nothing than something in their Order.
It was at that moment that a black mist once more rolled in and began to take shape. Within the space before her stood three Jedi, hooded and cloaked. Their invisible gazes looking at each other, but occasionally glancing in the direction of Luxeria. It was clear, by their hand motions, that they were speaking to one another. Soon whispers filled the room, growing from inaudible to clear spoken words.
She is a temptress, I tell you. A succubus who desires to cloud our visions and make us forget our oaths!
We cannot have her here. No, she must be sent away! Her lust, her desires...she will bring us ruin!
I agree with you, fellow Jedi. She must be turned away, for the purity of our Order.
The three Jedi turned and began to walk towards Luxeria before they suddenly dissipated into nothing. The black mist lingered however. Tendrils reaching up towards Luxeria and circling her like predators. This simple conjuration by Malvus would draw upon Luxeria's past and, hopefully, bring forth what was needed to begin her training.

As the lightning stopped and Malvus deactivated his saber, it seemed the reality of what she said finally caught. Sure, she felt the pain of the attack, and it did cause irritation, though not so much to anger considering the reason for the attack, which could be channeled and unleashed in the moment. However, she saw it as fleeting, unable to truly be effective down the road if she reflected upon it. No, she needed something that lingered, something done to her that was not meant for training, something more through passing by, or just to hurt her personally to simply break her.
She turned off her own saber as the mist began to form. She couldn't help but wonder what he had in mind now. As he seemed to fade away, she felt the presence fall upon the room. She looked around, noticing the droids gone and the library completely vacant. She wondered how many would lose their minds to such a feeling. It did hold an eerieness to it, making one what just what would happen next. But Luxeria simply looked around with an easy stare, more curious as to what Malvus had planned.
She then heard the voice within her mind, seeing that he was looking into her mind. It was surprising she didn't feel him there, but that just showed the extent of his power. His words, however, meant little. He was simply telling her what she already knew. But she let herself think back on those occasions, the same way she had with Andor.
~~It was a beautiful sunset as she approached him. The best sight one could see on the planet-wide city. Of all the people that came to her, to win her affection, he was the only one that caught her attention. The looks and physique, the way he carried himself, it was all too perfect. They would have been the perfect match. At least, that's what she thought until he responded to her.
=Man=
"You think you're something, that you beauty can gain whatever you want. Well, it doesn't work on me. I have no interest in you nor will I ever."
What made it worse was how calmly he said it, without any care. The anger of being denied surged through her and the Force awoken within her. As he walked away, she screamed and the ground cracked around her. She held out her hand to him and squeezed, desiring him to come back to here, demanding it. Unable to move, he was pulled back, as well as was getting crushed. It was his scream that broke her anger and let him go. Looking at her in fear, he scrambled away the best his aching body could. It was then she knew the truth about herself and it was then that she decided if her beauty couldn't attract, the she'd used the Force and instill fear in those few.~~
That was the day she awakened her power, coming to realize that she could use the power of the Force. It was barely a week before she went to the Jedi Temple and sought an audience with the Council to request training. That day, too, showed the anger in her being denied.
~~She had requested an audience with the Council at the Jedi Temple. It had been only a few days since the first incident. There she asked for the formal training to grow in the Force. She didn't express why though. However, it must have been apparent why she had come as their words made it so clear.
=Jedi=
"We won't train you. Your desires are clear to us. Now, go."
Those were the words she heard, maybe not what was truly said. But it didn't matter. This time though, she merely walked away, knowing if she tried fighting back, she'd be taken down quickly. They hoped by denying her, she wouldn't get the training and the darkness in her would pass. But it didn't. She trained for two year on her own before making her way to Kuat.~~
She looked back to were Malvus had been, now replaced by the illusion of three Jedi talking. Her fists slowly tightened as they spoke. It reminded her all the more of being denied the training. But they had failed in keeping her away. In fact, their denial only made her desire that much stronger. She wanted the power of the Force, the power to control. She would show them that their efforts were in vain. If they had taken her in, they could have changed her mind, used her power for something better. But they had been blind to that reality. The man who denied her was blind to her being more than a pretty face. They would regret not accepting her. She would prove to them all just what she was capable of. And one day, she would show them their failures and make them pay for it.
Her fists tightened slowly. Her anger did rise, as did her darkness. It didn't seem to swell, but remained focused and controlled. Did it mean she still didn't have the needed power or simply the emotions didn't cause her focus to break was unknown to her. But as she stood there, faint occasional streaks of violet lightning sparked across her hands. For that moment, she had let herself fall into the illusion, hoping to make some headway where the physical torture couldn't take her. Her right hand opened while it rested at her side. She focused the energy there, let it build, just as she had against Andor. Slowly, a red orb began to form, growing to the size of her hand. But the lightning didn't fade as the Force built up there. Instead, it began to spark along the orb, becoming an electrified Force Burst. Her hand slowly lifted up to her side, looking as if she was about to release it. Letting herself get caught up in the illusion, letting the anger of denial let slip the reality that she was in the library. That thought that kept her from attacking Malvus just a moment ago was gone in that moment.
With the orb in her hand ready to be unleashed, she spoke in a quiet, dark tone to the illusions, to her memory. It was the same words she spoke to Andor. "I don't care what anyone sees in me or not. I possess the power of the Force and I will have the fullness of its strength, one way or another."

Malvus witnessed the events as they unraveled before his eyes. Luxeria was taking in the illusion and falling for its manipulative power. It was precisely what he needed to witness her power and emotions. And his theory was right; Luxeria had great potential in the Dark Side. He could sense as emotions from two memories of her life came and went, yet the emotions remained and festered. It festered and continued to grow. His eyes saw the power draw into her palm, into a manifestation of Force Burst.
After she had spoken, the Sith waved his hand calmly. The black mist returned and began to form what Malvus hoped would be targets of her anger. Hooded and cloaked Jedi began to form and appear out of the mist. Lightsabers were drawn and ignited before the shadowy Jedi advanced against Luxeria. Many voices spoke to her.
Temptress! Seducer! We must eliminate all evil!
Your lust for power does not make you fit to be a Jedi!
You are a thorn of the Jedi Order! You must be removed like the cancer you are!
We serve the Republic and the weak, but you only serve your desires!!
With the flick of his wrists, the Sith caused the shadows to rush at Luxeria with great speed and intent. They continued to scream and yell their comments at her; all with the intent of testing the psychology of Luxeria. And it was by this test that Malvus would evaluate her abilities and emotions.

She watched as the illusions changed and looked as if the Jedi were about to fight her. Her mind wasn't truly lost to the illusion. She knew what it was, but was letting it run its course. However, their comments didn't build the anger as the memory and the last bit did. Instead, she merely smirked at them.
"Quite right."
Their words spoke the truth of her and what she desired. She was a temptress, a seducer, a manipulator of the minds of others. She craved power, desired it, and wouldn't let any stand in her way from achieving it. She didn't care that the Jedi felt she was a problem, a thorn. It was their own fault that she would become a hindrance to them. She would show them all what she could do, what she could achieve, and she would turn them into her puppets, her pawns like everyone else.
With those two words spoken, she stepped forward on her right foot as her hand moved in front of her and the orb released, becoming more than a Force Burst and more along the lines of an electro burst. It traveled with the power of a Force Burst, its destruction, now adding a surge of electricity that would consume the target and those close to it. Whether the attack would pass through them and impact something else was unknown to her. It didn't matter. In that moment, she had reflected on that anger of denial and it was still stronger than she thought, even now. That anger was fueled with her desire not only for power, but to show those that denied her just what they missed out on. It was her goal to make them regret rejecting her in painful ways. It would work along with her sharper focus, making it easier to harness, at least for now. It would be an anger that would fade as she gained that strength and proved who she was, but perhaps it was more than enough to get her started.
But she had been "gifted" with the ability to descend further. Her encounter with Gavin left her something. He had placed his memories inside her, the good, the bad, so that she could reflect on them, feel them as if it was her memory instead of his. It would be a difficult task, controlling the flow of memories and mastering them before their barrier that held the separate from her own mind broke and overwhelmed her. But that was a concern for a later time.
As the burst released from her hands, she spoke again, the dark tone still present, but taking on a seductive tone. "I am Luxeria, the goddess of illumination. Through the darkness will you see the truth. For truth is only what your mind believes to be true, and the mind is mine to mold. That is why you will believe my words to be true."

Silence fell upon the library after the mist Jedi had vanished into nothing by the power of Luxeria's great and focused emotions. Then slowly the mist returned from all corners of the room, tendrils reaching to Luxeria before snaking past her. A vortex would swirl in a central location before the human female and dissipate in an instant, leaving Malvus standing before Luxeria. The red-skinned Sith remain silent for a moment as his crimson eyes looked upon the young lady before he spoke.
You have taken the true first step in the right direction and down your path, Luxeria.
His hands would go behind him as his eyes turned to a bronze bust sitting nearby on a display stand. It was of a previous Tarkin ruler, from ages past.
You will gain new emotions from the experiences gained and memories imprinted from them. They will refresh you, give you new levels of power... and you achieve power beyond your imagination. Power to control not just one, but groups of people, whole communities and even planets will bow to your words.

Luxeria watched as the mist faded away and Malvus returned in front of her. Her swell of power faded and her eyes returned to their forest green. She would, indeed, need new experiences, new emotions to continue fueling her power.
"New emotions will be needed in time. The ones built from those memories will fade with time as I grow beyond them." She let her eyes glance to the floor for a moment before back to him. "While I have yet to begin sorting through it, I have been given memories from another, placed in my mind behind a barrir so that they don't bleed into my own until I've adapted and controlled the sensations accompanied with them. They cam from a man I met on Kuat not even a week or so ago. His name was Gavin Phoenix."

An eyebrow was raised upon the Sith's face. He remains quiet for a moment, recalling the last time he spoke with Gavin in the presence of his daughter, Tyrana. He had not heard from her for years now; hopefully she was occupied and excelling.
An all too familiar name to me. Gavin Phoenix knew me before as Valstrol Horica. He is a friend of my daughter, Tyrana Letta-Horica. He is one of the most neutral force-users I know, but one who has great wisdom that he is willing to give.
He would have to contact Gavin at a later time to see if he learned anything about Luxeria during his encounter. Instead though, his mind and attention became occupied with something else. For nearby, movement was heard. Malvus slowly turned to look at the end of a library aisle as a young man appeared. The human male was tattooed with black designs and red skin; his head covered with a thick mat of brown hair, tied into a tail on the back. His eyes were a brilliant shade of orange. The Sith Lord looked upon the young man for a moment before gesturing at the visitor.
It seems our actions has attracted the attention of my son. Darth Luxeria meet Aasim Horica, also known as Darth Vurkar. You may see him from time to time in the library, doing his own studies. He has recently arrived from Ambria, a planet that has deep connections with the Dark Side.
Darth Vurkar's orange eyes turned to Luxeria after they moved from his father's direction.
Another Sith apprentice, Father? You seem to have plenty of time on your hands when it comes to giving knowledge and teachings to new generations.
Malvus chuckles lightly at his son's remark. His eyes were now trained upon Luxeria.
There is an infinite amount of knowledge in the universe, Vurkar. And we must ensure its continuation with the strong pupils such as Luxeria who thirst to quench the fire that is the desire for power and knowledge. For if Sith failed in their duty to younger generations, we would have ceased to exist eons ago.

She found it strange that she had first encountered a man that Malvus knew, one he seemed to respect. If such a man as Malvus knew Gavin and the wisdom he held, it was worth the effort, worth the time spent talking to him and diving into the memories he had given to her.
However, her attention was redirected just as Malvus's was to the end of the aisle to see the man. She did not speak as he approached, taking in his features. The red skin, the tattoos, it seemed as if they meant something instead of just a simple desire like some people did. Perhaps it would be a question to ask later down the road. Her eyes did not turn from Vurkar as he spoke. She merely gave a bow of her head when introduced by Malvus.
She wondered what he meant when speaking of Malvus's free time to train. Did it mean in any normal situation he was always busy, perhaps for his own family, unless a new apprentice appeared? If that was the case, she'd imagine plenty of resentment from Vurkar. But there wasn't enough information in his words or tone to suggest this true or false.
When he spoke of passing knowledge along, she returned her gaze to him. He was far different than Andor, that was for sure. In some sense, he was like the Jedi, at least when it came to passing information to ensure a strong generation afterwards.
"It is also through the passing of knowledge that allows it to increase, allowing the older Sith to learn something new again. For, at times, a new state of mind sees things in a different light, allowing for advancement of knowledge or creation of new."

Vurkar turns to Luxeria as she speaks. It seemed his Father had chosen a most worthy apprentice from the way she understood Malvus.
Seems you have a very worthy apprentice, Father.
His orange-eyed gaze then turns to Luxeria before Vurkar speaks further.
You have looks that could bring down empires and a brain that could create masterful schemes. And from what I sensed earlier, a powerful connection with the Dark Side of the Force. I can say that you came to the right planet and found the right person to learn from. You will find a well of power here, Luxeria.
The son of Malvus would then turn away and walk down another aisle. As he turned to walk away, it was evident that the human was collecting books as two were under his shoulders. Even though Vurkar had graduated from his training days, the pursuit of knowledge was still ever present; a trait he inherited from his father. Malvus watches his son go before turning to speak with Luxeria.
Vurkar has already graduated from his training days. Yet he should prove to be a worthy opponent to spar with if the need arises, Luxeria. His level of power is only just some levels above yours, but still relatively close enough that he won't entirely out class you.
It was at this moment that Malvus reminded himself of his duties to Eriadu as their lord and to check upon his private research. He gotten the necessary information he needed to know where Luxeria was in terms of her power and what she would need to learn. The Sith gestured to the library set before her.
For now, Luxeria, I shall assign you to some studies so that I may return to my official duties. Feel free read upon our heritage, our traditions and the writings of great Sith before us within this library before you. Tonight, I shall return and we will begin the first steps of your training. I would recommend you research and practice Force Choke and Force Lightning, two powers that all Sith must have within their arsenal.
Malvus then gestures towards the door of the library and the hallway beyond it.
There is a training field just across the hallway from the library if you desire to practice. Practice droids will be at your disposal whenever you desire to practice and refine your skills freely. My son will most likely remain within the library as well, tending to his own studies and research, so if you desire to use him as a sparring partner in the mean time, you may approach him. Once I return, your tutelage and training shall officially begin.
The Kissai sorcerer then turns away from Luxeria and proceeds to leave the library for now. Duty called, Eriadu called, mountains of paperwork called... Malvus hid his grimace at what stupid proposals and petitions he would need to sign and reject today.

Yet another compliment was made to her looks and intelligence. If she wasn't careful, instead of progression she might find and ego. She didn't respond to Vurkar, or couldn't as he was already walking away. All she could do was simply turn her attention back to Malvus.
Just as with his son, Malvus was quickly gone once he had spoken all he had to say. She clipped her lightsaber she was still holding to her belt and picked up her bag. She moved to a table and set it there as she made her way through the library, seeking the information about the abilities Malvus first wanted her to learn. She had seen both firsthand, and even had an experience of using a toned down version of Force Lightning against Lura. Due to this, she remembered the sensation, the way the Force flowed through her being. She had tried to use it after the fight with no luck. Perhaps this time though she would make some progress.
Though she felt she had the basis of knowledge to begin practicing the techniques, she decided to hold off for a bit and read more on them in hopes to create a more solid understanding.

The hours had continued on as she read over what she could find on the particular techniques along with their less and more advanced forms such as Force Grip, Force Crush, and the different variations in using Force Lightning. For now, she'd focus completely on the versions she had been told to practice until she got them down, then move on to the next versions.
Feeling she took in about as much information as she could, she closed the books and replaced them before taking her pack and heading over to the training area. She found a spot against the wall to put her things as she walked out to the center of the area. Practicing Force Choke would have to wait until she had a target worth testing on. But by what she had read, Force Choke was merely another application of Telekinesis. With that in mind, if she simply focused on the Force that surrounded the throat and caused it to constrict, she'd be capable of using the technique.
For now, she closed her eyes as she reflected on the memories of her denial. It took a bit since she was not yet used to bringing them to the surface on her own with the emotions intact. Every time before had some sort of aid, whether stress or influence through illusions. It took a few minutes before the darkness in her began to build. She opened her eyes and brought her hands up before her. She focused upon the sensation of creating lightning, the way the Force felt when she used it. Bit by bit, a spark would cross her hands until it went from being faint and one at a time until her hand began to spark more frequently. It made her hand tingle at the least. She knew she couldn't let the energy continue to course over herself too long, and especially at more potent levels without suffering some injury herself. While she didn't have a target, she focused on the wall at the moment as she extended her hands and sought to release the energy. Only a single stream was unleashed from a single finger from each hand. A far cry from what Malvus and Andor performed, but it was something. She would just have to continue using it, learning how to increase the power while influencing the darkness in her to become stronger. And so she did for the hours on until Malvus would finally come to continue her lessons.

The sun began to set as Malvus entered the library. It had been a rather busy day with various matters involving Eriadu; ranging from law enforcement and petitions to revenue and trade. The Sith sighs lightly as he walks towards the area that he sensed Luxeria. The Red Sorcerer remained silent, watching as she tried a stream of force lightning onto the wall nearby. After the salvo was done, the Sith took his place beside her, raising his own hands.
Do not let so much tension build within your muscles. Let the energy flow through your arms while still keeping focus.
Malvus goes quiet for a moment. Then a spark of anger sparks within him and Force Lighting erupts from his fingers, scorching the wall in front of Master and Apprentice. It then dissipates after a moment and the Sith lowers his hands.
Tension within your stance will draw focus away and cause the energy to fluctuate. And focus is our greatest ally alongside our emotions, Luxeria. It sounds like a contradiction as emotions can cloud focus, but they are both needed. Now try again.
The Sith steps back and watches Luxeria try the Force Lightning technique again.

Luxeria had been at it for hours and she was starting to feel the wear, feel the tingle in her fingertips. While she was slowly improving, now creating two streams per hand, she could feel it starting to fade, her power, her anger. She had become so focused on trying to use the technique effectively that she had been slipping away from the very thing that helped her use the ability to begin with. By the time Malvus returned, everything about her was showing tension.
When he finally spoke, she stopped what she was doing and listened as he displayed his own use of Force Lightning. The use of the power wasn't needed, nor did she feel at this moment she would release a barrage to such a degree. But what she did catch from his words was her own tension. She realized that with each use, her focus was starting to slowly focus upon the ability, but the emotion was fading. She hadn't noticed and while she was gaining some ground in progression, she was having to put out greater effort, greater strain.
The truth was she could use the ability to some degree, both from past experiences as well as the current training. Some things would require the effort she was putting out, but this didn't need it to such an extent. She closed her eyes as she let the memories run through her mind. With a deep breath, the anger of denial came to life again in her. She opened her eyes and reached out with only her right hand. Three streaks emerged from her fingertips and struck the wall. She held it for a few seconds before simply cutting the power off.
She took another breath before turning her hand to herself and looked at it. While she was reaching the point she was at while facing Lura, she did notice that it was stronger than it was then. Perhaps because then, while she had the darkness flowing through her, it wasn't as focused as it was now. Her greater focus would be to her advantage as she was able to descend further into the darkness. She clenched her fist, satisfied with the progress. While there was still a ways to go, she wouldn't push the progression. She'd go with the flow of it, getting the most out of her training.
"It is far from a contradiction. Which holds greater power? A coursing river or that same level of water focused into a high pressure stream? While a surging power can cause chaos and destruction over a wider range, the more focused power is far more deadly." She let her hand drop as she shook her head. "The memories help in remembering that anger of when I was denied, yet, they are of the past. It takes time focusing on it since I've pushed passed them in search of what I wanted. It's like wiping steam from a mirror, I have to keep rubbing it away to see it clearly. With time, I can improve the reflection so it's easy to see from the start, but I wonder if it'll be enough. I need to find something that angers me at a much quicker rate, something much more fresh. Unfortunately, it cannot come from you, it can't be done knowing it's only to help with my training."
Her mind quickly began to think of everything recent. Nothing seemed to really do much. But something did cause a slight flare of irritation. It sparked faintly twice as she crossed over the images of Lura and Anya. Both were women and would be considered beautiful, especially Anya. With that, both held power. Lura was near her own level, which made it more of a competition of who would be prove to be more worthy. But she had also seen that Andor seemed to take a different tone with her, as if he held more interest in her. This caused her irritation feeling she would get better training. As for Anya, she had power. She could feel it and experienced it during their little spar. When it came to her, Luxeria despised her simply because she was more. In fact, it made her feelings of denial even worse. It gave the impression of being denied because Anya was better.
She had noticed the irritation and began picking down the details, which caused her irritation to turn to anger in a snap. In her mind, she saw Anya and Lura standing in front of her, looks of superiority on their faces as they looked down on her as if she was nothing. She bore her teeth as her head dropped and her eyes turned red in anger. Lightning sparked across her hand as it opened at her side. Instinctively, she focused the energy in her hand and the red orb appeared again. It was quick in its formation, just big enough to where she seemed to be capable of gripping it. The lightning merged with it as her hand raised to the wall, ready to erase the images in her mind. It flew and hit the wall with a fair bit of force and sent lightning streaking in all directions over the wall.
The images faded and she took a breath as she let the anger subside. It seemed that perhaps she had something to fuel her after all.

A moment of silence fell upon the room as Malvus observed the attempt by Luxeria after they had exchanged words. His senses began to note a new source of irritation and anger that rose like boiling lava within his apprentice. It made the Sith grin; she had found something recent it seemed to make her angry and thus fuel her rage. And from what he could sense, it was jealousy, anger and irritation. To the Sith Lord, it did not matter what the memory or cause was; what did matter was the results. For the built up emotion from whatever Luxeria thought of caused the Sith apprentice to unleash a rather refined display of Force Lightning. Unlike the others before, Malvus noted that hers bounced off the wall and even caused a good scorch mark upon the surface.
As the emotions died down and display ended, his hands rose slowly and lightly clapped several times. The Sith Lord seemed clearly impressed from this reaction. Quietly Malvus approached the wall that had been struck by Luxeria's attack, gently touching the surface of the wall and feeling the heat resonating from the recent lightning strike. His crimson eyes then turned to Luxeria.
Most impressive, Luxeria. It seems that, not only my advice, but your own observations and knowledge had achieved the results that you have sought for. I sensed ripe jealousy, anger and irritation as you built up your power, drawing energy from these fresh emotions. You found the fruit and plucked it at the right moment.
Malvus turned his gaze once more to the scorched surface, delighted in the progress that his apprentice had done within just a single day. Calmly, the Sith Lord gestured for her to follow him. Their direction was towards the entrance of the library and the hallway beyond it. The Sith Lord wanted to test his apprentice's power now on live targets.
Its time you test your force lightning and practice your force choke on live targets, Luxeria. The predecessor that ruled this world left me plenty of criminals and scum that were detained for their disloyal actions and vile intentions on this world. You will try your attacks on three types of targets; stationary, moving and, finally, armed adversaries.
The Sith approaches the door stationed right across from the library. His gloved hand reaches up and keys the necessities needed for the upcoming scenarios. As he keys them, Malvus continues to speak.
Another major factor of our power is drawing fear, anger and other emotions from our opponents and exploiting them. As we sense fear, we invoke fear itself. As we sense anger, we throw anger back. As Sith sense the emotions of their opponents, they attempt means of invoking further causes; words, a sense of delight, perhaps even attempts to match their own emotions in the hopes of making them cower. Internal and external sources give us the power we need to thrive, Luxeria.
