Luxeria looked at where her attack hit. She felt it could be better in the end, but for a quick flare of anger and no time spent building the energy, the Force Burst and Lightning combo was something she should have been proud of. If anything, it was satisfactory. Malvus seemed to be impressed with her display, which helped her settle with her satisfaction. But it certainly wouldn't build her ego as she knew that she had quite a ways to go.
What was more than the comment on being impressed with her display, was his comment about her own knowledge and observation. Those words held more weight in Luxeria's mind. It meant that she was being acknowledged for her mind and ability to look into these things herself instead of being walked through her training. She looked to the ground a bit as he mentioned what he sensed in her. Was it jealousy? Yes, clearly enough. But she knew it was much more than that. It went deeper than that, her anger birthed in the reality that she refused to be second best to another woman. If anything, it was pride.
When Malvus moved on and spoke of practicing on live targets, she was a bit edgy of simply testing it on just anyone. She might have wanted power, she may do anything to get it, but to simply harm someone just to see how well she'd do was a bit extreme. Yet, the thought was gone as quick as it surfaced at the mention of criminals. That, she had no issue with. She nodded as he mentioned the other source of a Sith's power in the emotions of others.
"Yes, Andor had said such before. When we first left Kuat for Thule, he told me and Lura to take in the fear of his men that bowed to him as we made our way through his ship. While the fear was directed towards him, he wanted us to understand that reality of using another's emotions against them."

The door before them would slide open, revealing a large and open area. At first, it seemed rather plain and simple, but at the flick of switch by Malvus's fingers, the entire area changed. A few blocks rose up, making four corner points as if they represented a boundary. A door on the far side open as several troops came in, dragging a male Sullustan who was cuffed and chained. The alien attempted to move at the slightest opportunity, but one of the troopers slammed him in the face with the butt of his blaster rifle. The soldiers stayed nearby, keeping an eye on the captive, as Malvus walked with Luxeria to the center of the room.
Andor's words are correct; Sith draw upon not only their emotions, but those around them. To exploit an opponent's emotions gives you an edge in battle. If they fear a particular form of combat or perhaps some sort of image, sorcery and physical attacks will work into your favor.
Malvus would take a seat at a new block that rose from the floor nearby. The Sith slowly crossed his arms, glancing at the criminal Sullustan that was kept in check nearby. The first test of three...
Your first test will be to use your new founded powers and knowledge to exploit the fears of this criminal. You are free to use Force Lightning, Choke and whatever powers you have to invoke the fear of death or to cause him to spill his emotions. Either way, ensure that he gives you the means to exploit him.

Luxeria walked in behind Malvus as she watched the guards bring the prisoner in. As she looked at him she took in Malvus's words, learning what this test was about. It would be harder than she thought, but at the same time, easier than she realized. The reason for this was due to the purpose of the test: to exploit the fears of the criminal. If she was simply to test her newly gained abilities on him, it would be but a simple matter. If it was her goal to simply reach into his mind and bring out his fears, it would be difficult as she had yet to manage the ability well enough, much less affect a being's mind in general.
But the test was a mixture of the two. She didn't need to break into his mind, at least completely. It was all about making him afraid with what she knew. Being a prisoner, she was certain there were simple fears riding on the surface. The question was how to bring them out with what she knew. There was no point worrying about it. Thinking about didn't help. She'd just have to go with it.
She took a few steps forward after nodding to Malvus. Stopping a few feet away, she looked at the alien as he looked around, no doubt searching for a chance to get away. IT was a chance he'd never get. She let smirk grow on her face as her appearance seemed to change. It was the way she stood, turning from the apprentice focusing solely on training and becoming the seductress she sought. Her head tilted a bit to her right and her body leaned that way as well as her left hand rested on her hip. Her eyes reflected this tone change the most, when she spoke, there was a dark seduction to it, much like the tone she carried against the illusions in the library earlier.
"Your time being incarcerated has come to an end. Your crimes will be forgotten and you shall be released." She watched as he seemed to focus on her words as if there was some little hope for escape. Each word seemed to brighten his day, whether to go out and commit more crimes or to live a better life. Either way, he thought he'd be going free. However, that wasn't what she meant.
She reached out a hand to him and let her fingers close slightly. As she did this, she focused on the Force surrounding him and caused it to tighten around his body, holding him in place as she gripped him with the Force. Slowly, she let her hand rise, and with it, so did the Sullustan. Her smirk grew on her face as it began to reflect darker intent. Her pointer finger and thumb began to close a little more as she focused more on the area around his throat. His eyes then began to grow wide they best they could as he began to choke and cough as he struggled for breath. She gave a little scoff at his attempt. "Well, you'll be released if I happen to kill you that is."
With those words, she felt the fear rising within him. She had given him a glimmer of hope at freedom, only to be ripped away so violently. Her words would have revealed that she wasn't intending to let him go and that torture would be thrown upon him. Only if she accidentally went too far would he find freedom in his death, something he wasn't any more hoping for than torture.
She drew upon the fear within him, letting it give her power. She kept the images of Anya and Lura out of her mind, seeking only to grow based on the emotions of the convict. She had to admit, it was satisfying. It made her want to draw more out of him, like drawing honey from a bottle. It was sweet in comparison to her own emotions. It was intoxicating to feel it and know it was being caused by her. She then closing her other fingers as well, constricting the Force around his entire body. Her understanding of Telekinesis made this technique easier to grasp, the growing power allowing her to perform it. She watched as his body began to get squeezed together until it seemed that his eyes were about to pop from his head. She thought she heard some popping noises as well, either dislocating bones or maybe even breaking them.
She held the crush for a moment more before pushing out with her hand, sending him flying back hard into the wall. As he hit, he fell hard to the ground, only about a three foot drop. She walked towards him and stopped just foot away. He was struggling to gather himself as he looked up to her. Her eyes were blood red again as the darkness could be seen reflected in her eyes. His body seemed to shake as he saw it. She took in a deep breath, enjoying the fear she was creating. She laughed faintly as she tilted her head.
"Scream for me." They were the last words she spoke as she lifted a hand and charged the energy she built at her fingertips and unleashed a barrage at him. The screams came quickly, begging for mercy from the guards, from Malvus. She continued to let the lightning surge across the convict's body for nearly ten seconds before she stopped and closed her hand a bit to hold him in place. She wasn't about to let him have any chance to get at her as she turned her head back to Malvus, knowing whether to stop or to kill him.
Not only was this simply seeking what he wished, but a way to keep herself in control. The power granted from another's emotions was overwhelming as it grew. If she let herself keep pulling like she was, she'd lose herself to the feeling it gave her. That would change what she sought for herself. Instead of being someone in complete control of herself and others, she'd become a slave to her own power and the sensation she got from torturing and killing others.

Malvus carefully watched his apprentice begin her first trial; attacking an unarmed and restrained prisoner while exploiting their emotions for their own advantages. What struck the Sith quickly was how well Luxeria used words to invoke emotions that could easily be exploited, which she had done by dashing hopes for freedom with the bitter words of death. As the first force choke was performed, Malvus noticed the familiar sense of jealousy and irritation from before; it made the Sith wonder what Luxeria was using to empower her strength. Yet his attention was drawn to how she threw the Sullustan against the wall and brought herself once more to dishing out more pain.
The screams of the prisoner echoed throughout room as the alien was struck with a lightning surge from Luxeria. It made Malvus grin in fact, seeing how well Luxeria was exploiting his emotions and drawing power from his fear. As the criminal cried for mercy and forgiveness, that's when Malvus caught the eyes of his apprentice looking at him. Slowly the Sith raised his hand, clutching it into a fist. His thumb stuck out, pointing parallel to the floor for a moment before the gloved hand turned down, giving Luxeria a thumbs-down; a very traditional and silent way of condemning anyone to death. Malvus was more than willing to give Luxeria the sensation of executing someone, perhaps it could serve as yet another experience to use in the future to come.

Luxeria nodded to Malvus, acknowledging the approval to kill the criminal. Slowly her head turned back towards the Sullustan. She listened to the faint whimpers he gave as he tried to bare the pain. She ran her right hand through her hair, brushing it over her ear as she gave the faintest of laughs.
"Well, looks like its your lucky day. You get your freedom." She saw the look of terror in his eyes as he looked up to her. After what she had just said about what his freedom would be, it wasn't something he wanted. He had started to hope that after his bit of torture, he'd be left alone. He started stammering in his native tongue, begging for his life no doubt. She could feel the fear spike as she began to back away.
After he first go at the criminal, moving was far from an easy task. This allowed Luxeria to back slowly towards the middle of the room. She already knew what she'd do to him. What she didn't know was what would end up happening. She wanted to avoid making a mess of herself. She looked at the man one last time before reaching out her hand and lifting it into the air. The Sullustan was froze in place and lifted into the air. Slowly, she began to close her hand, causing the Force around him to begin constricting him. With each passing second the fear grew as she tortured his body and mind, making his end a slowly and painful one. She kept her power in check so not to kill him quickly. After almost a minute of this torture, she had taken in enough of his fear to allow her access to the greater depths of her darkness. She had the strength to fully apply her Force Crush to kill him.
Her hand began to closer a bit faster as the cracking of bones could be heard. The screams he made resonated throughout the room as he squirmed at the pain, wanting nothing more to get free and get away. It was amusing to her that she smirked. She had gotten her fun from him and decided to end him quickly. She squeezed her hand into a fist as his body sucked inward with multiple cracking sounds. Bones could be seen sticking out of his body as blood flowed from these points as well as his mouth. It was obvious at this point that some of the bones had pierced his organs. His body hung lifeless in the air before she let him fall to the ground.
She took a deep breath as she reveled in the fear he portrayed. The torture, bringing out such fear would be the guide to her choices for keeping people alive. Through this, she saw the physical aspect of what her power could do to break people. What she would have to keep in check was the power coursing through her. If she sought to torture and make examples of others in the future, death would have to be avoided as well as injuries too severe.
As she let the feeling pass, her mind began to work, taking in what all had transpired so to remember how to fully use her abilities later. What she did think about most of all was how easy it was to get him to express the fear. Not all would be swayed as this man had. Soldiers, those trained as she was, wouldn't be broken by torture and death threats. They would need a different approach, one that was still beyond her experience to break.

Malvus makes a slight gesture of his hand, which made the guards move to the corpse of the criminal. They picked up his lifeless body and dragged it away with a service droid behind them, cleaning up the bloody mess that followed the Sullustan. The Sith began to ponder upon the second trial, perhaps Luxeria did not need it, but instead, needed more a intensive training exercise. Calmly, the Sith Lord stands up and walks over to a rather bare spot in the training facility. A block rises out infront of him and the Sith keys it quietly. Soon a thin section of the floor, underneath his feet, detached and rose up into the air. Malvus knew he would need to keep his distance for this.
Once it was situated, Malvus walked to the edge and looks down at Luxeria, who he could still sense satisfaction and triumph within her being.
I have decided to forego the second trial and move you up to the third one, Luxeria. From what I can tell, you will need the more intensive exercise I had planned for you for the third round. The second was preliminary, but I believe you can handle it.
Malvus then returns back to the console and keys it a few times. Three doors would open and, from their entries, came four Stormtroopers. Each primed and loaded with a blaster rifle. From the center entry however came a fifth person. The fifth person was easily identified as Malvus's son, Darth Vurkar. Vurkar was dressed in a flexible set of black armor, which appeared to be of Imperial design. In one of his hands was a long-handled lightsaber; forged with dark metal. The Sith warrior approached Luxeria with the four Stormtroopers flanking him. Moments later, the blasters were leveled directly at Luxeria, safeties off and clips loaded.
Malvus would nod to his son subtly before turning his gaze to Luxeria.
A live fire scenario, Luxeria. You will undergo the pressure of being outnumbered, outgunned and outranked; the need to think quickly and swiftly without losing precious time. You must use your focus and knowledge to survive, thrive and emerge victorious. Your objective is simple, aim for the head of the snake.
Malvus then gestures to Vurkar who nods in return. The Sith Warrior then waves his Stormtroopers forward, who give a rather robotic affirmative. The four, with blasters leveled, walked towards Luxeria. Yet without a command given, they pull their triggers and began firing at Luxeria. For now, Vurkar remained in the background. He knew that Malvus had failed to mention, on purpose, that there were more of these Stormtroopers waiting to join the fight.

Luxeria watched as the dead body was drug out of the area. However, her attention was quickly directed to Malvus as he messed with a block before being lifted into the area above her. She simply watched as he spoke, wondering what he had up his sleeve. While she was glad he was confident enough in her abilities to forego the second test, she wondered if she was and what it would be. But if he believed she could handle it, then she'd take his word for it and face whatever awaited her.
When the doors opened, she turned to face them and soon was on guard. There were no prisoners this time by what she could see. And with the appearance Mavlus's own son, she knew her training just went to a whole new level. Her mind sharpened as her eyes moved around to each of those entering the arena. They were armed, armored, and obviously trained for combat. Her right side seemed to move on its own as the thoughts ran through her mind as she took a stance, though it resembled nothing more than being on guard. Her focus tightened more as she watched all the blasters aim at her.
It was more than she had experienced thus far. The most skilled opponent would have been Andor, and she had only ever faced another one on one. Her combat skills were weaker than her powers ended up being, unarmed combat just enough to fight but lacking any real form. Her saber combat was based in simple movements as well. However, she pushed the thoughts from her mind. Instead she began focusing upon these men, playing tricks with her own mind. She worked to convince herself that these men were betraying her and instead of Vurkar, it was Anya standing there with a superior look. It was enough to bring life to her anger and irritation as she let out a single slow breath as her right arm raised a bit in front of her.
She heard Malvus said and nodded. Despite the others, her goal was taking down Vurkar. Everything else was a distraction. With him viewed as Anya in her mind, she had no issue with letting everything go in this test. She watched the troopers begin making their way towards her, firing a short time later. She was already letting the Force flow through her, ready to aid her. She let it amplify her speed as she moved to her right, just missing the blasts. Her speed was slow in comparison to those more skilled, however, it was enough to keep her just ahead of the blasters' fire.
After her quick move to the right, she pressed in before her speed wore off. Her mind had seen everything move slower for that moment, but now it was all back to normal. She rolled forward and back to the left, doing what she could to keep her eyes on the troopers, tracking the movements of their blasters to try and grasp where they'd fire. She was being held back with the four of them firing. She couldn't navigate herself closer as she wanted. She also wasn't able to build any power either. Her mind was losing thought as she moved. She wasn't given the time to think. Slowly, instinct started setting in.
Anger started building at being shot at. It made her feel like some animal being toyed with before the kill shot. The power grew in her as she seemed to abandon any type of defense as her speed increased again as she moved forward, only moving from side to side, ducking and jumping normally over the blasts. Despite this, she felt the burn on her arms and legs as a few nicked her. The pain coursed through her body, but it didn't stop her. Her more instinctual animal side had taken hold a bit and was enough to only increase her anger.
She got to the troopers, ducking under one to get behind him and brought her hand up like a claw. She focused the Force around him to grip his body and hold him in place. Working to keep him in her grip, she moved her hand, first to her right and then to her left to try and knock the trooper she had into the others.
Provided she was able to break their focus on her for a moment, she let go of the trooper she had before thrusting her hands out to the side, building up enough energy to release in a Force Wave. She needed to get to Vurkar, but doing so with the four shooting at her would be a problem. She didn't know of the others waiting to join. All she knew was she needed an opening to attack, an opening to get close.

From the elevated platform, Malvus watched quietly. He needed to fully assess his new apprentice and felt that not only his observations, but Vurkar's own impending encounter, could resolve any further assessment needed to be done. Luxeria would become a much needed asset in the Western Outer Rim, a region voided of any central government, outside influences and relatively isolated position. It had been once the beating heart of an Empire and the holdings of an old Sith Order that no longer existed. Such resources could easily be at his disposal and would fuel a new engine of war, an engine with blades pointed right at the heart of the Jedi and their decadent Republic...
Vurkar stood quietly as Luxeria made her move in his direction. His long-handled lightsaber stayed inactive as the four Stormtroopers advanced upon his father's new apprentice. His orange eyes watched the female carefully as she moved between soldier and blaster fire, aiming straight for him. The Sith Warrior did not have to move a muscle as two more Stormtroopers joined the group just as Luxeria broke through the first line. They leveled their weapons and began to fire at her.
At this point, however, impatience could be sensed in Vurkar as his body itched for action. Suddenly he sped forward, moving between the two Stormtroopers that stood between him and Luxeria. His long-handled lightsaber blazing to life as an orange bar came forth. His trained eyes remained right upon Luxeria as the warrior came to a stop, solidifying his feet and planting them into the ground. His muscles tightened as the Sith gave a wide, but strong swing with his long-handled weapon, aiming at the midsection of his opponent.

As Luxeria broke through the first group of stormtroopers, she turned in time to see two more arrive and begin firing. The flowing instinct found hesitation at their arrival, her mind taking moments to flash thoughts through it. At the moment, her instinct held the greater control, yet it didn't have it fully. This through her off balance as she half jumped back out of surprise, making her footing near non-existent as they found the ground. She rolled back quickly and back to her feet to avoid any of the shots fired her way.
As she stood up again, she saw Vurkar nearly on her, his saber alive and ready for a fight. She had only a moment to respond as her hand reached for her own saber and ignited it, bringing for the deep red blade. She felt her connection to the Qixoni crystal inside as she felt her strength in the Force increase. She brought it around to meet Vurkar's, both hands on it as she held it out to her side with a little drop to meet his, giving enough force to hopefully arrest his momentum. Yet, this wasn't the case. His strength was greater, not only due to his form and training, but the time spent building the attacks momentum prior to the collision. What he had was everything she didn't. The blades met, though Luxeria didn't let herself give much. Her blade was forced back towards her a bit as her body began to get pushed by the attack. She took a step back on her inner most foot that was closest to him, grabbing her footing and finally stopping him.
She was leaning into the block as she held him, using what strength she had. Because of this, her saber wasn't far from her body. Luckily in her position, and extra force added would send her back completely and keep the blade from meeting her flesh. She looked at Vurkar with red eyes, seemingly amplified by the glow of their sabers. She could feel his strength, threatening to break her defense. What she had also noticed that the troopers had stopped firing. Even with perfect accuracy, shooting with them so close risked hitting him should they fire at the wrong time. This was a theory, of course, but it made her feel her best chance to end the test was stay close to him. He was her target anyway.
As she held him, her mind began to take shape in combat, shape within her control and not of an animal running on instinct. Bit by bit, her mind was showing her the attacks to take, and the way to flow with the battle. The process of thought brought about her move. She gave to let Vurkar's attack press in closer. Using her saber to keep them separated for a bit, her body quickly turned and ducked down, her saber following after in hopes his attack would pass over her. Feeling she had the opening to make an attack, she came back up with his saber on her other side and slashed upwards in a diagonal slash, nearly, straight up.

Despites his stature and aggressive tactics, Vurkar was versatile as well. Something Luxeria would learn within a moment. The warrior noticed her movement, watching as his attack was allowed to press closer. He went along with the movement, giving false hopes of an easy strike. Yet as his opponent attempted to counter with a diagonal slash, Vurkar would leap backwards, flipping into the air above Luxeria. His gloved hand extended, unleashing a fierce salvo of force lightning before landing behind the advancing Stormtroopers. It seemed their number was increased by two more as eight Stormtroopers, with blasters loaded, advanced upon Luxeria. Without a command given, the blasters began to fire directly at Luxeria.
Vurkar stood behind the Stormtroopers for now, assessing what he had just encountered. Luxeria was able to hold her own against even a small portion of his true raw strength. Her quick wit had come into play with the baited maneuver and attempted counterattack. He would have to up his own game if he hoped to achieve victorious over her.
Knowing it wouldn't be long before Luxeria managed to get through the Stormtroopers, Vurkar drew his lightsaber into a defensive posture. His one free hand began to gather energy from the Dark Side as he tapped into innermost emotions and fears. Even from a distance, Malvus could sense the Dark Side energy pooling into his son like a spirit seeking a mortal vessel to inhabit. Vurkar's muscles tightened and some even twitched as the flow of energy began to build up within his body. The grip upon his lightsaber tightened and his free hand clutched into a tight fist; the Warrior was building up a great deal of energy for purposes unknown, but the most obvious being to be used against Luxeria.

As Luxeria came up with her attack, she saw it hit nothing as it tried to follow him into the air. As his hand extended, she had seen it enough to guess what was coming. Her saber moved between her and the lightning. It was something she had learned during her training on Thule, though mostly from reading and talks with Lura. It was enough to keep her safe from his attack, but the blasters began to fire once again. She moved left and right, trying to stay out of their line.
Grasping a split moment, she pushed out at a couple of the troopers together and released a Force Push at them, wide enough to hit both of them. After the push, her saber crossed across her chest before she threw it with a spin parallel to the floor. Two years had been spent training only her telekinesis for it was the only thing that took any shape in her mind. Ever since becoming Andor's apprentice, she had been extending that control to things far greater in size and weight as well as smaller than her orbs. Her lightsabers was one of these things she practiced with. If anything she displayed thus far before Malvus that she seemed to hold great skill and focus on, it was this. Her saber spun as she moved to avoid another rain of blaster bolts. It spun straight for the rest, forcing them to move out of the way or get cut in half. Some of the bolts fired at it deflected in other directions as they met the blade.
Summoning the saber back to her hand, she ran at the troopers as they worked to regain their composure and jumped over them, letting the Force flow through her to enable a higher than normal jump. The height was barely ten feet from the ground, but enough the clear the troopers and land behind their line, leaving Vurkar just a bit in front of her. She landed with a roll, not adjusted to the affect of landing from such heights. She rolled up to a knee and looked at him, still keeping Anya in his place. She saw something she felt she could exploit. She smirked at him as she held a calm tone mixed with seduction and adding a hint of mockery.
"I see. Attacking when your opponent is distracted, backing away at their first attack against you, you must be a coward. Your best skill is clearing running." She didn't spend much time knelt down, knowing she was still open to the blasters of she waited. She ran towards him, a single hand on her saber."Or is it you're too weak, using the troopers as a cover to hide it?" Her attack was different than Vurkar's first. While his came in a wide swing, her's was pulled back near her shoulder. It looked as if she would thrust towards his chest, but yet have it close enough to respond to an attack he could make first. When close enough, she twisted the hilt so that she could bring it down in a diagonal swing, both hands returning to give her some strength, especially with no distance to give it momentum.
She didn't know the mindset Vurkar had. Many options awaited her in response to her words. He could be cool and collected, unphased by them. Maybe pride would kick in and anger him and make his attacks less focused. Then again, he could be collected, but grow angry due to his pride and use it effectively to overpower her. But it was a risk she needed to take, on she had to try. One did not completely grow without stepping out and trying something different.

Vurkar stared at Luxeria for awhile, remaining absolutely silent as his opponent came in to strike at him. Yet with great ease, his own lightsaber came up and immediately blocked Luxeria's directed blow. A single hand held onto his long-handled lightsaber; yet compared to Luxeria, a single hand from Malvus's son was worth both of hers. Slowly Vurker's orange eyes would blink before turning directly to stare at Luxeria. Their sabers hissing and buzzing as they remained in contact. A sly grin appears across his face before a booming laugh was heard.
Is that all you got? Is that all you can muster, adept? I have heard worst buzzing from a swarm of Dekk flies! And I bet they would present a much worthy opponent than your flawed stances.
Anyone would know that Dekk flies were a species of insect that was attracted to trash. Vurkar hoped it would spark something more out of Luxeria than these words that were nothing but child's play. Vurkar would continue to laugh as his lightsaber swiftly deflected the endured parry. Malice and anger rising within the very bowels of his person. A grin once more crosses his face.
Foolish little girl...
His free palm then shot upwards as lightning erupted from his fingertips. It wasn't like Luxeria's own technique, it was a level far beyond her own comprehension. Recently, Vurkar's training had allowed him to advance his own Force Lightning technique to that of a more powerful variation, Force Storm. He had witnessed his own father's powerful Force Storm and was able to conjure his own variation after much trial and error.
Pooling more emotions into this technique, Vurkar's Force Storm became more violent and tenacious as bolts struck nearby blocks and obstacles; scorching or even causing them to explode into fragments. Yet as this show continued, with some lightning bolts hitting the area near Luxeria's feet, a great bolt of lightning would come into being. This bolt whipped upward, striking the air and ceiling above it before it bent and streaked right for Luxeria. It was the manifestation of Vurkar's emotions, guided by the will and purpose of its conjurer.

As the blades met, she pushed against him, though not with the entirety of her strength. She couldn't afford that, not against an opponent who was obviously stronger. At the same time, she could hold back the majority due to the same reason. Still, her red eyes met his orange as his words came smoothly. It was clear that her words meant nothing to him. His mind was well focused and unmoving. However, his own words seemed to be just as useless. It wasn't so much of the focus of her mind, but the words chosen. While it was obviously directed at her weakness from her lack of training, the delivery lacked the personal touch that would infuriate her.
Yet, as her deflected her attack, she could sense the rising anger. It was controlled and quickly brought to the surface, something she would learn in time. She took a couple steps back as his hand was raised and lightning began to surge their. She could feel the potency in it even before the first explosion of the area around her. She body lowered itself as he guard was raised. It was far different than the typical barrage of lightning she had become used to. THere was no telling was would happen. Yet, even with her senses being sharper due to her guard, she couldn't respond fast enough as the bolt rained down on her.
The intensity held her in place, she wasn't even able to scream. Only faint shaking could be made out as she tried to fight passed the overwhelming power being thrust on her. Her eyes slowly came up to meet his as she tried gathering on the Force. It was difficult, her mind even unable to use her anger. The pain was too much. But that only brought forth the memory of her first encounter with Andor. Her body was weaker then, unable to handle the normal lightning attack. It was the pain alone that surged through her being and giving her strength. She used the surging pain coursing through her body as the fuel for the fire as she began pulling in the Force around her, letting it build and build. Slowly, she was able to move enough, her hands opening and dropping her saber as they came closer to her chest. She tried to hold on as long as she could, using the pain to help her build more power.
Finally, she had had enough and unleashed the built up power. Her hands flew out to her sides as all the energy was released in every direction, her Force Repulse spreading out in a ten foot radius. At the moment, her ability to use a repulse was determined by her pain and the desire to end its torture.

Vurkar showed glee upon his face as his own attack struck Luxeria directly, yet the screams did not come. Out of his peripherals, the Sith noticed his father's gaze turn to Luxeria as he too sensed what Vurkar was sensing. A massive build up in power; power that seemed to be derived from his own attack. Yet unlike the controlled nature of himself, Luxeria's own counter was uncontrollable as it erupted forth in a ten foot radius. Quickly, the Sith retracted his own arm and had his palm face the oncoming attack directly. As a Force Deflect was building, it didn't have enough time to be able to halt the strike, only soften it.
Vurkar felt himself slide at first while standing up before flying back only a little, managing to land on his feet, but barely. His hair was slightly disheveled now, his figure bowed in the direction of Luxeria. For a small moment, nothing was felt. Then a spark was felt, a spark that grew into embers and rapidly evolved into a bonfire of emotions within Vurkar. He was angry; angry that his opponent still stood and managed to stand against his own power. Irritated that she had forced him onto the defensive. Malvus knew what was coming as he felt the typhoon of emotions within his son. It would be a good test for Luxeria what was to come.
Vurkar's emotions began to run deep as he forced up more and more, adding fuel to growing conflagration within him. He stands upright now, igniting his lightsaber once more. Then inhaling deeply, an enraged scream emitted from his mouth, but it wasn't a physical one. Instead, it was a scream of strong frustration and anger that rippled through the Force and could be felt by those around him. From this eruption came Vurkar's peak.
The Sith would take one step forward before thrusting himself forward with a much heightened Force Speed. His reflexes were more mobile than before as well as his speed. He zipped from left to right along the short path up to Luxeria. His free palm extended and released a burst of Force Push before Vurkar soared high into the air and plummeted downward with his lightsaber. Rage had taken over Vurkar, making him a much different, and dangerous, opponent than before.

As the lightning faded and the repulse emitted, she fell to her knees with heavy pants. Smoke came off her body from the lightning that consumed her. She could still feel the charge running through her, but it was slowly fading. She looked up to see Vurkar bowed before her. She didn't see what happened to him, thus didn't know what was coming. But she felt it, the emotions surging from within him. She couldn't help but smirk a bit, knowing she had pushed him to what some would consider a breaking point. Whether or not it would be an advantage was yet to be seen.
She knew something was coming though and had no time to concern herself with anything but the surging emotions. She tap into them, her own power growing alongside Vurkar's. If anything, it would give her some ability to keep with him for a bit longer. When he screamed, she could could feel the peak of the power coming to a head. She had only a moment when she saw his lightsaber activate to grab and ignite her own. It was all she could do as he was on her and released the push that sent her back and sliding across the ground. It took a second to regain her focus from hitting the ground to see him coming down fast on her. She rolled out of the way just in time to miss being ran through by his blade.
As she rolled, the very moment she was on her front side, her hands and knees adjusted themselves so she was working her way up to her feet. Her movement was swift as she spun into a stand, slashing up at Vurkar with her saber, her free hand following close behind to release a Force Push of her own, fueled by the power she took from his anger.

Malvus watched his son and apprentice spar. Luxeria had proven that she was more than a mere apprentice, given the right circumstances. Yet the Sith Lord knew she had much to learn from his teachings. His eyes then glanced at Vurkar before returning to his apprentice. Things had heated up to this point and it seemed both were equally matched. The whole match would come down to the final moves; Luxeria had already shown her wariness and his son's fatigue was to come after the Force Rage subsided. This would drain Luxeria of her external source of power, leaving the pair vulnerable to whatever they can must up as a final maneuver perhaps.
Vurkar still held the upper hand with his heightened skills from the ongoing Force Rage. Whereas Luxeria was tapping into his emotions as an external parasite, Vurkar was the one who was gaining the full benefit of his own emotions. The Sith swirled around, parrying the saber slash with his own lightsaber. His long-handled lightsaber would continue to go up though, as the butt of his weapon aimed to hit Luxeria in the cheek or at least force her to adjust her stance, throwing whatever she was mustering off balance. Yet Vurkar felt the strain upon his body as he conjured up yet another Force Push, aiming to give him some distance for Luxeria, even if it were a few precious seconds. He didn't have much time till his own body was pushed to its limits and he would be forced to relieve himself of the Force Rage.

As the two sabers made their clash, the sudden burst of a Force Push from both of them was enough to give the distance that both might have wanted. She landed and rolled back onto her feet. Her breaths were heavy and the sweat was pouring down. This had been the first spar that had lasted to such a degree, both in time and intensity. Her body was feeling it, though she was sure she could go on for a bit longer, enough to hopefully find the opening she needed to end it. She had no plans on giving up. She'd make it through this test and prove her worth, not only to Malvus, but to the girls in her mind, showing that she wasn't anyone's second.
She focused her gaze on Vurkar. She needed to sharpen her focus, try working to preserve what energy and strength she had. It was clear that while the Sith grew stronger from their emotions, what Vurkar was displaying was something far greater. When his anger spiked, everything about him changed. If she could find a way to exploit that anger, hinder his senses and train of thought enough, she might be able to finish it. Figuring his reactions from before, words didn't mean anything. But perhaps taunting him, making it seem his attacks were weak against her. It was a long shot and even more a risk considering his heightened state. Still, she would give people a reason to hate her, to fear her, to respect her. The way she'd do that would be refined in moments like these when it was all but theory.
Standing to her feet, she took a deep breath, controlling her heavy breathing until it became calm. She let her body relax as she lowered her hands. She even deactivated her saber and placed it on her belt. She let everything about her become at ease, letting the darkness growing in her fade away. She still had enough reserves in the Force to keep going a bit more, but she'd have to use them sparingly. She would wait to draw on her internal emotions for strength right as she needed it. She let her body sway faintly from side to side as her green eyes focused on Vurkar. She could only wonder what he'd think. As she did this, her mind was extending outwards, gripping the bits of debris that was scattered around from Vurkar's earlier Force Storm. Never did her eyes leave Vurkar, but she knew what she was grabbing and how much was lifted. All she gave was a slight lift of her head before all the debris flew inward at Vurkar.

Vurkar watched quietly as Luxeria stood up from the attacks they had exchanged. He panted heavily as beads of sweat rolled down his tattooed skin; his hair disheveled and glimmering with sweat. He felt the strain within his body as the Force Rage continued, his body managing to keep itself strong up till now. Vurkar knew he had to finish this soon or else he would pay deeply for the resulting consequences.
Soon, the Sith noticed how suddenly his opponent became calm while his own body was still seething with emotions. It was at that moment, Vurkar began to muster the last of his strength for one final push before the Force Rage would subside. After that, he would be fatigued for a period of time before his strength returned. That small window could mean victory or defeat though. The Sith conjured up as much of his emotions and drew power from them as he could in order to protect himself.
Vurkar waited for the right moment. That moment would come as Luxeria threw debris at him. Raising both of his hands, a barrier would form around him as the debris slammed against a shimmering blue shield that protected the Sith from harm. Yet as the attack subsided, so did the shield and eventually the Force Rage would cease to exist. Vurkar would collapse to the ground, panting heavily from the sudden departure of the Rage, leaving his body physically exhausted. A shimmering anger rested within his heart, knowing that he had failed in defeating a mere apprentice.
Yet, with the match seemingly ready to continue, Malvus would raise his hand suddenly, just as the platform descended from the floating position. The Sith Lord knew that this was more than enough to make certain conclusions and to finalize his assessment of Luxeria's capabilities. The platform would rejoin the floor with a loud clang, allowing the Sith to walk towards the sparring area quietly.

Luxeria smirked as the effects of the rage took hold. It wasn't something she expected, having no knowledge currently of the ability, but the approach she took, while having a different effect, worked well for her. She had enough left for a final attack and with the state Vurkar seemed to be in, it would be enough. After that, she would be drained and the fatigue she was keeping held back would take hold. She was quick, walking quickly up to him as she changed the image in her mind. She saw Anya again standing there, unharmed and seeming to flaunt how easily she could take an attack. Her anger at the image flared, not enough to grant her a lot of power, but enough to channel the last of her energy. In her palm, a the red orb of her Force Burst began to form, a normal Force Burst without the charge of lightning.
She was above him, ready to bring the attack down on him, and herself considering the proximity of her being, only to be stopped by the sound of Malvus approaching them from the lowered platform. The moment she stopped and looked to him, the energy dissipated and she stumbled back a couple of steps before catching her balance. She stood up tall, though her breaths were heavy once again.

Malvus did not pause as Luxeria moved away from his son. Vurkar would slowly rise, keeping a good grip on his lightsaber as he stood. The Sith Lord glanced at his apprentice for a moment before turning his gaze to Vurkar who stood defeated, but proud. The Sith knew this was a good experience for his son.
What do you think, Vurkar? Do you think she is ready?
The Sith warrior looks over at Luxeria before placing his lightsaber upon his back.
More than ready, Father. She is an invaluable asset.
Malvus would then turn to Luxeria. With a slight motion of his hand, the Sith Lord indicated for Luxeria to follow. Vurkar would join the pair as they moved to depart the sparring area. As the Sith walked towards the entry way, he spoke calmly to his apprentice.
From what I saw, this spar was more valuable to you than you could imagine I take it. It seems that I have gained a most worthy apprentice for my plans.
