*Ver'metus chuckles at Ferinus as he takes a seat near to his old Master, his hands disappeared into the sleeves of his cloak, which he hadn't removed, or lowered its cowl, he preferred the shadows, they had been his home for many many years, he long preferred it to the lights that cast them.*
Well, my superior genetic design may help with that..
*He leans forward and a sly smile crossed his face before the stony expression returned.*
...Though you did teach me, I spent alot of time these past few years delving deeper into it.
*Ver'metus looks up at Phantom as he'd grabbed peoples attentions. He listened closely as he spoke, the older sith was fine with waiting. He disliked droids, but orders himself a Corellian Spiced Ale, his drink of choice. He waited for Phantom to finish, and spoke up when he was finished.*
I do have something to show you when the meeting is done, should you allow my personal ship to dock.

**Lord Ferinus couldn't help but grin at Phantom's words. If what Ferinus found in the depts were merely 'a few things,' then Ferinus knew not what else this galaxy could possibly contribute to their cause.
The Sith Lord withdrew the thick, foot-long metal cylinder from his belt, laying it gingerly upon the table before them all so it pointed upward to the ceiling. He couldn't stop his inner showman as he stood back up, reaching out a gloved finger, floating the cylinder to the center of the table.**
"The galaxy is is different now. In many ways, however, it remains the same. Certain factions of Sith labor and fight and unify all for the goal of ruling the galaxy."
**Lord Ferinus chuckled.**
"Everyone in this room knows that is the goal of simpletons. We've all seen empires. We've even contributed to some. We've also seen them all crumble. Those who would profess themselves the greatest of the Sith, the greatest in the galaxy, they all die."
**The Sith Lord pressed a sequence of keys on his wrist pad.**
"Whatever happened to the far simpler days of just killing Ji'Dai?"
**A sharp hiss explodes from the cannister. Air fizzed and leaked out of the cylinder as its height began slowly expanding toward the ceiling. After only a moment, a purple glow shot out from the center of the canniester, bathing the entire conference room. Ferinus' onyx eyes glinted in the glow as the substance contained within was revealed. A purple, glowing, pulsating energy held at bay within the device.**
"This will help us draw out and kill the Ji'Dai. Our first grand weapon. I found the last supply of my favorite toy."
**Ferinus aimed a shameless glance toward Phantom.**
"Admittedly, I'm still slightly proud."
**He turned to Ver'metus, then down to Ty and then over at Stormro. His eyes flickered to meet Aysa's for a moment before continuing.**
"The Dark Seed. Pure Dark Side energy unlike any reserve the galaxy can offer, at our disposal. This is merely a sample for presentation purposes. Once weaponized, it is lethal against the foul, stinking essences of the Ji'Dai, as well as the galaxy's teeming plebeians."
**Ferinus smirked.**
"On this rock....I plan on building a new church. One of carnage. Fear. Pure, unadulterated murder of countless innocents and their hypocritical, wanton protectors. There are near limitless applications for this energy, ones I'm certain we will discover in due time."
**With another wave of a finger, the cannister snaps shut and flies into Ferinus' outstretched hand. He looks carefully around the room.**
"We know why we're here. We each can contribute an essential component of what can become a very efficient machine. Though there are....rogue variables in this room....the only modicum of trust from me is dedicated to the judgment of my brothers and sisters. It is time for the old ways to return to the galaxy."
**Ferinus gestures to everyone in this room.**
"We will stand apart. We will work for our own purposes and no one else's. We stand with no empire. We stand against the Ji'Dai....and many of them will soon fall."
**Ferinus gave a full-toothes grin this time.**
"I can already taste their blood."
**The Sith Lord leans over the table, planting his fingers on its smooth, shining surface.**
"Perhaps it is a tall order to ask for some that we have only just met, but suffice it to say that if any of you had any aims of working against us, you would not have dared to enter this room. That is what I propose. Working together, we will form a force this galaxy will come to fear. We need only line up the logistics from here. We find a world...and we make it ours. Our gospel will spread."
**Ferinus lifted his glass and finished it off.**
"The sooner Ji'Dai corpses drop, the better."

As Ty had piped up again his eyes narrowed, their deep purple seemed to tint with black but before he could say anything to her about her attitude she had corrected herself and wised up.
Good
He turned to Aysa and nodded, he stole a glance at the datapad and already the group of slaves were all spoken for. A good haul and with the chips and subdural implants, they would all be good for use and should they turn on their owners or try and escape, the subdurals were remote activated and would quickly dispatch of them. All risk but that is what the clients paid for.
With a light chuckle he sipped from his glass
"The markets are still a little saturated, the slave trade has picked back up as the Ji'dai have been less occupied but it is business and a profitable one at that so I won't complain"
Finally as Stormro spoke, he understood. Business and training were as they should be but even on a destroyer the facilities were not adequate. They needed more, they needed a place to operate from.
"I understand and I would agree on having a mobile platform to operate from but all I have is money in the Galactic banks and this. We need resources and a place to begin from. The Golan is a good idea but we will either need to find a planet where we can have it built or contract it and have it built on the books. That leads to our discovery and we cannot risk that. We need to ally ourselves with a planet because even now, taking something by force paints a target on our backs."
That was the last thing they needed. They had nothing in the way of a real base, homeworld, or defensive structure. The first objective would be to find someplace like that and then begin from there.
His deep purple eyes flicking around and called up a holoprint of the Golan III and he nodded, spinning it to see what it offered and he looked in approval while he listened on. Ver'metus had spoken up catching his attention and he turned, the gaunt scar that almost bisected his face glinting off the holosystem.
"Your ship is more than welcome to dock. You can contact Wrath on that datapad and give him your ships identification relay and we will have a space for it ready to dock"
A droid had walked forward refilling his cup and he watched his brother. That dark seed, the idea that basically killed his brother and turned him into what he was now...it was masterful and the one thing he was most willing to mess with. He listened about the church of the dark side and let a smile curl along his lips, the tips of his teeth glinting. There was the passion they both had shared for years and now it was coming to life.
As the canister was put away and his brother took his seat he cleared his throat and pulled down the hologram of the Golan III and called up a map of the known universe
"This is where we are currently"
A small dot blipped in a sector of the lit planets and stars
"We need to find a planet that we can build on that keeps us out of the radar of Ji'dai and other blinded sith. We need to forge a base and if I am honest, manufacture, either ship yards or facilities would be nice. From there we can use funding to start construction or something else but as of right now, we are unable to move on while on this ship. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where we should go....and do not just yell out a planet. I would like concise reports and thoughts on the system you choose because this will affect how we do things from here on in."
His tone was grave but he needed to nail the point that resources, allies, defensive abilities, trade routes, all of it would be needed to be taken into account because any wrong move would end it for all those who have spend so long staying around. This would be interesting to say the least

So this was how the future was forged. Ty hated long speeches and what seemed like an even longer glare from Phantom. Even if she hadn't been looking directly at him she could feel the icy energy that always came with "that look". The look that had been followed by pain so many times. Ty had her mind wrapped on that look for so long that Ferinus was half way through his bit about the Dark Seed before she began to realize he was talking. Yet when he opened the cannister, she found herself staring at it with wonder, as she had down in the ruins, sensing its power and wanting to touch it. When it closed and went back into his hand, she felt a disappointment she hadn't been aware of and pulled her hands into her lap to resist the temptation of snatching it from him. Phantom was talking now, and Ty drew her attention away from the man she'd soon be drinking under the table and to her Big Brother. He spoke of planets and bases and Ty found herself bored. Ty was never a planning type of person, she let Phantom plan and she just did her own thing. Tapping her foot silently under the table, she occupied herself by sipping her drink slowly, trying to focus but knowing she'd have Phantom just give her the main points of the meeting again later. That's when it happened. Ty's communicator went off. Her eyes widened as she looked down at it and then quickly slid it into her lap away from Phantom's gaze, staring up at him with wide eyes, trying to play it as if she were extremely interested in what he was saying. Oh no this would not do. This would not do one bit. Flashing a glance down at her lap she began typing away quickly.
Outer Rim. Kamino. I'll get the clearance for you to dock.
Ty sent the short message and then leaned forward on the table as if stretching her back and listened as Phantom brought the speech to a discussion of where they could start their base of operations and Ty quickly scrambled to her feet. Burying her excitement and nervousness she smiled sweetly at the Sith she admired so greatly
I'm sorry Big Brother, but something has just come to my attention that I must take care of. Fill me in later?
Without waiting for a response, Ty turned and winked at Ferinus before leaving the room calmly. Once the door had slid home behind her Ty smiled brightly and ran for the lift. She made her way as fast as she could without bringing suspiscion to herself, to the command deck and looking for the one droid she was looking for on the blasted ship. Seeing Wrath she giggled and showed him the communicator with sadistic glee glinting in her eyes
But if you speak a word of this to Phanty I'll take personal pride in ripping you apart wire by wire!
She waited impatiently there on the bridge for what seemed like forever (most of the meeting in fact as Ty's writer is trying to move this along so that she doesn't take up every other writers time with meaningless dialogue throughout the meeting.) And soon there was a ping on the communicator as well as on the ships computers and Ty squealed with excitement and kissed Wrath on the faceplate before hurrying to the docking bay that they had cleared for the tiny shuttle. As it landed Ty bounced on the balls of her feet with a big smile on her face as the ramp lowered and her guest exited. She threw open her arms and closed the distance between them before leading them to Ty's chambers.

The cloaked figure as mentioned in Tyrana's post exited their ship, presence masked through the Force, with a large trunk behind them, being carried by a couple of Phantom's droids. To any other Force sensitive on the ship, this person would just be an average human walking with the hyper little thing beside them. They embraced Ty fondly and linked one arm through hers as the other stayed hidden under the cloak. Both made their way to Tyra's chambers, to await the end of one meeting, and the start of another that would decide the fate of both the cloaked figure, Ty, and a couple of others on the ship

Aysa listened intently to everyone as they spoke and took notes where she thought appropriate, but when Ferinus stood and placed the metal cylinder onto the table, she immediately stopped, her curiosity well and truly piqued. She watched as it rose into the air and opened with a click. Her eyes narrowed cautiously as the air hissed. She could tell by the glint in his eye that he was going to enjoy whatever was coming next. She sat back, her arms folded across her ample chest, bathed in the purple glow. "...our first grand weapon..." Aysa's gaze shifted from this weapon of unimaginable power back to Ferinus, just as his eyes met hers. For an instant they just looked at each other before the moment was gone. She would openly admit that she was impressed. She'd never seen anything quite like this before. Ferinus was truly a master of his craft. It excited her. She felt her heart begin race the more he spoke about this "Dark Seed" and the possibilities attached to it. But when he mentioned the word "innocents", it took all she had not to correct him; there was no such thing; not on any planet nor in any system. She bit her tongue and said nothing. "...though there are rogue variables in this room..." As soon as he said that she knew he was talking about her. He knew everyone there apart from her. He'd fought with, laughed with, bled and drank with everyone there bar her and Stormro's apprentice of course, but given the fact that he had worked with the Sith Lord before, she assumed that Ferinus trusted them to a certain degree. She was an unknown to nearly everyone and he was right not to trust her so readily. Aysa said nothing as he toasted the demise of the Jedi and returned to his seat. "...this is where we are currently..." She looked back to Lord Phantom who had called up the holomap. She listened as she glanced down at her datapad and the systems listed on its screen. He wanted real data not just a name plucked at random. Aysa was about to speak when Tyrana stood and excused herself. The dark haired woman watched her leave then turned back to Phantom. She straightened her back and spoke, her voice softening. "My Lord, may I?"
She waited for his nod of approval before continuing. With a smile she withdrew from the Kamino system and took the map to the edges of the Deep Core, to grid M-11 and the Hakassi system. She turned to Lord Ferinus, looking him dead in the eye as she spoke. “You said you wanted a rock to build a church? A mountain from which you can preach your gospel of carnage and fear, well I think I may have found you the perfect mountain. As I’m sure you know, Emperor Palpatine favoured the Deep Core and no one has forgotten what he did with Byss. He took a planet of peace and tranquillity and turned it into stronghold for the Dark Side, a throne from which he could rule. I see absolutely no reason why we can’t do that here. Hakassi is similar to Byss in nearly every way. It’s protected and it’s strong enough with the Force that we could devise ways of harvesting its power for your …" She paused for a moment then smiled. “…garden. Hakassi could be our paradise. our throne." Her dark blue eyes remained locked with his for a split second longer before she turned away from him, and looked to everyone else. "I’m sure this doesn’t feature on many a top ten list but I think Hakassi is a place we need to give some serious consideration." Aysa enlarged the map, bringing the slowly rotating planet into perfect view. She stood and began a slow walk around the table, glancing every so often at those sat beside it. "Now the concentration of dark matter in the Deep Core does make hyperspace travel difficult but that can be used to our advantage if we chose to settle here. Its close proximity to the Core worlds makes smash and grab raids a real possibility. Now I know we need plenty of ships for this type of guerrilla warfare, ships that are small, fast and agile and I know we need larger ships with a hell of a lot more firepower for more substantial engagements should we wish to partake." She stopped beside Ferinus, playing with the trident pendant around her neck as glowing red lights began pulsating on the planet's surface, illustrating where the largest of all the ship yards were based. "They made damn good ships here once upon a time, so good in fact that the Hakassi Shipyards were among the first to be attacked along with those on Kuat by the Vong. I'm sure it wouldn't take much by way of investment to get them up and running again." Aysa looked to Lord Phantom and moved towards him, leaving the sweet smell of her perfume lingering in the air behind her. "My Lord, I know you want to substantially reduce the risk of exposure, so might I suggest that if you do decide on taking control of these ship yards, or any other facility you deem suitable, that you do so using a shell company. It would help make the rejuvenation of the yards appear all the more plausible.”
She turned to the Sith Lords gathered before her, looking to each one individually.
“The vast majority of you already have targets on your backs, some more substantial than others, so in order for this business to appear as legitimate as possible, a plain face would be more suitable. I know someone in a position to take on this responsibility if ... and only if this is an avenue you wish to explore.” She stopped behind Lord Phantom and folded both arms over the back of his chair. The configuration of the map changed slightly as four more planets came into view as well as a faint dotted line that highlighted the Corellian Run nestled just within the Core. “As I’m sure you can appreciate it’s not just money that is required for a project of this ... magnitude. Resources both native and imported are of the upmost importance, which brings us nicely to the neighbouring planets and trade routes. Hakassi has most of the raw materials needed for ship production, but like every world in every system, it doesn’t have everything. Back in the day, eighty five percent of the missing materials were sourced from Ebaq, Ojom and Eclipse, with the remaining fifteen imported from planets either in the Core or further afield depending on price. From what I understand this is still the case but I don’t see this being an issue for a legitimate business.” A smile blossomed on her face as the planets faded back into the stars and they were all bathed in the cool blue glow of the swirling Galaxy. "In terms of personal investment, money and weapons are not an issue for me. Thanks to Lord Phantom and other business I have a vested interest in, I have both in abundance. Now when it comes to troop numbers, I suggest that we procure what we need, plus fifteen percent in order to protect the facilities we either come to own or occupy. Too large or small a number will make us a target for all the wrong reasons. There are Jedi spread far and wide throughout the Galaxy, that’s a given, but I don't foresee them wasting their time with a shipyard on a Deep Core world, do you?" She sat, smoothing the fabric of her dress before looking up at everyone with a small shrug. "Just something to consider."

Stormro listened as Ferinus rose to his feet and spoke, his grin widening with amusement as the Sith Alchemist spoke of the foolishness of those who sought to build empires. It was a sentiment which the Nagaian Sith Lord agreed with, based on his own observations over the years. He had long ago learned to avoid such endeavors, or at the very least to avoid the appearance of being involved with such endeavors. When the Dark Seed was revealed, however, Stormro raised an eyebrow in mild interest as its purple glow enveloped the room; he could practically taste the dark energies which the small sample gave off and actually licked his lips slightly in anticipation of the potential applications of this new resource. As Ferinus continued with his speech and returned the sample to its container Stormro remained silent, digesting what was being said even as he considered his own thoughts in relation to what was being proposed. While he was more interested in his research and teachings than directly killing Jedi, the Nagaian Sith Lord knew that such a result would likely be a side effect of his efforts in time none the less.
Shifting his gaze over to Phantom as the other Nagai spoke, Stormro nodded in understanding of their industrio-economic situation; while he had a vast fortune invested into ventures which would keep him rich for quite some time he did not know if even his vast fortunes could survive bankrolling such an endeavor and he knew for a fact that the fleet which he had used for the last decade and a half was badly overdue for replacement. He agreed that they needed to acquire some sort of terrestrial economic base upon which they could build, and could not help but to smile as he began mentally working through his databases in search of suitable candidates. As Aysa spoke of making their home in the Deep Core and drew parallels with the late Emperor Palpatine Stormro mentally scowled; he had never been the biggest fan of the Emperor. While his deception has certainly been both effective and impressive, the man's hubris and inability to plan sufficiently in order to deal with potential complications were major failings in Stormro's opinion, and the attempt to draw comparisons between themselves and his failed bid at an eternal empire left a bad taste in his mouth.
Once she had finished speaking he finally broke his long silence, waiting until he was sure that she was done for the time being before opening his mouth. “While Hakassi certainly has potential, my concern is that even with the dark matter to help shield us we will not be able to easily avoid attention forever. In addition, while the yards on Hakassi would certainly be nice to work with they are also well known to the galaxy; should a fleet of Kuati vessels start raiding targets throughout the Core Worlds such large, well-established yards would likely be some of the first places that they would check in an attempt to locate the source of the threat. Finally, I suspect that at the moment we are more interested in establishing a solid base of industrio-economic power than raiding the Jedi and Core Worlds. However, once we are established Hakassi could very well make for an excellent forward base from which we could operate, and it might even serve well as a decoy to mask our true base of power if we play our cards correctly...” He did not mention that he felt that anything done in imitation of Palpatine's actions as Emperor would more than likely pan out in favor of their foes.
Pausing for a moment Stormro glanced over at Belbe, who picked up the datapad in front of her and began entering commands for the projector as he continued with a glance to the woman who had just finished speaking with a warm smile. “You will have to forgive me Miss, as I do not know your name, but you are right about several things. To start, once we are ready to began taking more...direct action against our foes our endeavors will be better served by fleets of smaller craft with suitable equipment for such raids. I have been a strong proponent of such ships for years, and can lend my expertise to the formation of any such raiding fleet. Larger craft are better suited to defensive purposes and invasions; both of which are situations which can be mitigated vie more...subtle machinations. Furthermore, you are correct in suggesting that any businesses or industrial facilities which we take control of or operate should be acquired via entities which are not associated with ourselves. However, while reliable contacts are certainly an option I can offer a better solution; replica droids. Such beings are certainly expensive, but they will also be entirely controllable and can be hand-crafted to suit whatever need we may have. On that note, I believe that I have a suggestion as to where we might set up operations which could take advantage of such droids...”
As he spoke the galactic map shifted out beyond the western edge of the Outer Rim and into the region known as Wild Space where it settled on the planet of Adumar before zooming in on the planet so that it filled the air above the table. “This is Adumar; it is a small planet in Wild Space, a part of the galaxy which lies on the border between the Outer Rim and the Unknown Regions, and was discovered by the galaxy at large in 12 ABY. Its landmass is divided into five nations which are each ruled by a monarch known as a “Perator”, and together these five monarchs make up the planet's governing body; the Adumari Dominion. If we were to replace each of these five Perators with a replica droid, we would be able to exercise complete control of the planet from the shadows without having to reveal ourselves as rulers and without openly disrupting the indigenous population's supposed right to govern themselves.” As he spoke of the five rulers dossiers of each Perator appeared on the screen, alongside a description of their respective nation, all of which was drawn from Stormro's intelligence database.
“Not only would this help to keep us from being noticed, but should the Jedi wish to try and take the system from us they would need to violate the sovereign rights of an entire planet in order to do so, which could very much serve to alienate them from the Republic and some of their allies. Not only is Adumar remote and easily controlled, but they have a well-established military-industrial complex specializing in missiles, torpedoes, and other such military-grade hardware and munitions. There are established supply routes already in place which bring large quantities of raw materials into the system on a regular basis, and if we take control of this small backwater I can establish a station in orbit which I should be able to operate, via proxy of course, as a small service branch for KDY and Sienar Fleet Systems. Of course, as a fringe benefit, we would have access to the design schematics of both companies and should be able to produce ships for our own purposes as well. Such a setup would be small enough to avoid being noticed by most official records and could be operated entirely from the shadows, allowing us to do as we wish without much in the way of interference from outside forces. Alternatively, if we would prefer to have more of a presence on the planet and the admiration of its people we could all take up the local pastime...”
Belbe entered commands again as the dossiers minimized, remaining accessible on the datapads as the image of a strange, sword-like weapon with what almost looked to be a blaster emitter at the tip appeared. “This is a Blastsword; a rather intriguing weapon which combines a vibroblade with a blaster. When the tip makes contact with something the built-in blaster fires, either stunning or killing whatever happens to be on the other end of the weapon depending on the its settings. Blastsword dueling is a massively popular pastime on Adumar, and champion duelists live as celebrities and social elite. Such duels also often serve as a means to resolve disputes, especially amongst the nobility. If we were to become masters of this weapon, we could achieve significant amounts of social and political power while at the same time capturing the hearts and minds of the populace. All we would need to do then would be to have the replica droid rulers choose us as their personal champions or advisers and we would be set to rule Adumar from the sidelines. This would allow us to take a more active role in the planet's military without being overtly in control of the planet. I've run the calculations and either option should prove viable should we decide to claim Adumar as our new home...”

Nel felt her eyebrow twitch as Ferinus spoke of killing Jedi. Was killing them his only real goal? She found herself literally biting her tongue to keep from saying something she would regret. Killing for killing's sake didn't sit well with her and she paused. What was she thinking? She glanced to Stormro. He was really starting to rub off on her, if her thoughts went to that rather then thinking killing at all being a good idea. The purple glow distracted her from her thoughts and then... The Dark Seed. It sent a shiver running the length of her spine and she ran her hand over her mouth. A bit distressed? Definitely. This man was truly a lunatic. Then again, they probably all were. She could feel her horror growing more and more as the man spoke, and that wide grin didn't help matters. Mercifully, she kept her face as stoic as possible, and perhaps even more thankfully, she managed to keep the emotion in check mentally as well. When the Dark Seed was put away, she was relieved. He claimed he wanted no empire, and yet he claimed they would stand apart... A dangerous notion, that.
When Phantom spoke up, she felt at least a smidgeon more at ease, and she felt her shoulders loosen again. When they had tightened, she didn't know. Possibly when Ferinus had been speaking. A place of operations, hm? Two options were already on the table, and she kept her mouth shut, as both had been more or less addressed at the moment, save for her Master's. Phantom would surely do so shortly.
Now, where was Ty off to in such a hurry? Curiosity had Nel wanting to follow, but she stayed put. She didn't have an excuse to leave, and she was sure that her Master wouldn't want her leaving anyways. She mentally sighed. She was feeling out of place amongst these Sith, but it was more because she had nothing to say that was of value rather then any other possible reason. The Zabrak looked around at the others at the table, trying to discern their reactions. Observation was one of her key traits that she tried to improve constantly... even if her Master seemed to think otherwise.

*Ver'metus punched in a few buttons on the control on his utility belt, wired for his fingerprints only. Sending directons to his ship. He sat and listened, he'd been around when Ferinus created the dark seed, he'd even seen its effects, he knew enough to know what a weapon it was. He was not surprised with its reveal, and had suspected that was his reason for being at Kamino in the first place.*
*As Ver'metus ship recieves information from him, it decloaks off the starboard bow of Phantom's ship, the small aging YT-2400 had been heavily modified while in his possession, it was far from a new vessel or model, but was taken very good care of. The small freighter makes its way from its position into the hanger as he was given permission for it to land.*
*Ver'metus was about to speak when Phantom, Aysa, and Stormro each spoke their piece. He had listened to each one, and as each piece went on he had his own issues with them, but each also had many strong points. When none else spoke up he took his chance to leave his seat and speak his turn. The Anzat looks towards his old Master first.*
You say you want no Empire, that you wish to plant your seeds and build your Church of Murder, but where there is a Church, followers flock like sheep to their shepperd.
*As the Trawl's Vengence lands, and its landing ramp extends, a lone Twi'lek emerged, his red skin with black tattoos stood prominent against his white uniform. The twi'lek pushed a stasis tube from the ship, ice coated the port viewer concealing its occupant from sight. He pushed it down the ramp and towards his destination.*
As much as I like the idea of a vantage point in the deep core for striking at the Core, I think that is ahead of ourselves, we need to build up and prepare before such a strike can be of any success. I do like the Idea you present Stormro as well, but I do not think you are thinking deep enough into the shadow.
*Ver'metus takes his turn to move towards the map console, he throws back his cowl to expose his scarred face, where the implants in his jaw and cheekbones were was noticable, his black hair falls down around his shoulders, and he ran his fingers of his right hand through his goatee before leaning over the console and the map swept through to show an area far outside the outer rim and into the unknown regions.*
I've spent several years now in my own search. Few have heard of the Nebula Organization, and even fewer know their purpose. I believe I know now. The purpose of this secret sect, is to protect the location of a now long forgotten planet. Endelaan. Rumours go that this Planet if found by the wrong people would bring about the destruction of the Galaxy. I captured one of these Nebula cultists tortured him, broke him, and sent him and a very highly referred assassin to bring me its Coordinates without telling my hired assassin the reason of its importance. I miscalculated one small issue.
*The twi'lek, Thaddeus enters pushing the stasis pod and stops next to Phantom, Ver'metus eyes scanned the room slowly before he finishes his last words, finally his eyes rested on Phantom, knowing that when opened he would be the most interested party in the room.*
The ship, a Pursuer Class-Enforcement ship, was shot down, crash landing on a deserted planet just outside the reaches of the Chiss Assendancy where I recovered the distress beacon. The ships logs were to far destroyed, the Nebula Cultist dead. This is the last piece remaining that could contain the location. Which brings me to the gift I mentioned for you Phantom. If you would be so kind as to have the honours of opening the pod..

**Ferinus leaned his elbows up on the surface of the table, steepling his fingers in front of his face. Did he want to build an actual church? Dear Bane, no. Simply an analogy for what he wanted: Death to the Sith's enemies.
He also wanted another drink. This time he poured himself another Kicker. He knew Phantom wanted them to make use of his shiny servants for such actions, but the day Ferinus let a tin can mix his drink is the day he dusted off his old Ji'Dai robes.
As he finished taking a drag of it, his eyes found Aysa's. They were still staring at his. Ferinus aimed a crooked grin and nodded his head toward her. He had to admit that she captivated his interest. There were few in this galaxy who could shield themselves against his thoughts. He was impressed. Even as he looked at her, he could still see the fires burning within her mind.
He paid close heed to Phantom's words and Aysa's. He perked up slightly at the mention of Palpatine, a Sith Ferinus had studied extensively in his academy days.**
"I must say I am impressed, Lady Aysa. A grasp of history and planetary geography is to be commended. Perhaps Phantom's trust in you is well-placed after all."
**A compliment. A small thing used to open up more possible dialogue later. Ferinus needed to know where everyone on this ship stood and he would need to learn more about this woman.
The Sith Lord stirred when he saw Tyrana suddenly stand up and excuse herself. Now, what on this side of the Rim could she possibly be up to now. Instinctively, Ferinus looked to Phantom and arched an eyebrow.
Ferinus listened next to Stormro's and Ver'metus' pitches. He turned to his old apprentice.**
"Precisely when did you find the time for such operations while being stuck down in that drowned academy?"
**After hearing all of the planetary pitches, Ferinus took another drink and spoke up.**
"The three of you make convincing cases. I would be less inclined to entrust such a delicate operation to a droid, but I cannot argue the logic behind the deception. Perhaps if I were to witness a thorough demonstration of these replica droids' capabilities...."
**Ferinus aimed his wrist pad up toward the hologram display, downloading the dossiers of Adumar's rulers. He sifted through the frst few entries.**
"If we were to go this route, we each possess abilities suitable for supplanting each one of these leaders, if this intelligence proves correct."
**The Sith Lord's face shot back up as he heard a whisper in his mind coming from Stormro's end of the table.
.....clearly a lunatic.....
Ferinus chuckled. A lunatic?
Good.
Presumptions of lunacy born from ignorance could breed fear. Ferinus was more than happy to reinforce the assumptions from the young Nel.**
"A lunatic, Nel?"
**Ferinus snapped his stony face toward the girl, locking his onyx eyes upon her without blinking. He let electric tendrils of Force Lightning course up and down around the fingers of his right hand.**
"You would do well to conceal such thoughts, young one. To my mind, you may as well be shouting them from the hilltops. Sith do not shout insults unless they intend to reinforce them with action."
**Ferinus pressed his mind into hers. He sensed fear. He sensed uncertainty. He sensed....fear of Stormro. Fear of....inadequacy in his eyes.
Ferinus grinned. He knew what she feared. And yet, it felt almost familiar to the older Sith Lord. A previous life....**
"Perhaps your disciplining has not been....adequate."

As everyone has spoken and talked, he began taking notes, two holopads on either side and both of his hands flying on either of them.
Many of the proposed ideas were good, from trade routes to shipyards, alliances with the home worlds to duels for dominance and ownership. He continued working and taking notes looking at the positive reasons on each idea and the negative ones.
Immersed in the work and learning as much as he could from each presentation it was no surprise at his snap reaction to Ty speaking to him
A deep growl emanated from his being as she left, whatever she was doing it had better be worth it otherwise he would throw her through a few droids and a wall just to make a point about keeping up appearances and respect when sith of these caliber were present.
As his brother finished speaking he could not help but smile at his brother, the thoughts that Nel had were practically being shouted about and it wasn't bothersome to him as much as it was entertaining. The almost vampiric smile glinting with every pointed tooth and spoke, his voice a low thunderhead, rumbling yet clear
"It would be wise to truly heed his words, when he and I would train we would level entire areas...and that was training. I would caution your thoughts before he breaks parts of my ship because if you recover from it, you would be responsible for the repairs"
With a chuckle he pulled the holoverse low so everyone could look at one another.
"We are thin in numbers, holding a planet is one thing in and of itself but we have to think of a few things. We need numbers for defence without straining ourselves. This comes from ships and droids, or clones. On top of this we need to make the inhabitants of whatever planet our allies. No matter what, even if a Jedi contingent were to visit and try and sway the political power on the planet, we need to make sure their loyalty is to us."
Clearing his throat he took a swig of his liquor
"The sith will also be a contender for political power and so we must be weary of them as well. We know how they are, we know how they act and after killing enough of them we understand them better than anyone. While every planet is a contender, I think the system of honor and loyalty as well as the resources and drive yards on Adumar speak to what we need most.
Your point of the honor duels is very well taken. We will first be seen as outsiders until we can win favor with those who are there. If we split the planet among ourselves to control finance, development, industry and the like, then we will be very effective. The offered yards show the capability to build defensive orbital systems that will keep us safe as well so to me it seems the very logical choice."
He was about to continue when the doors opened and he saw a male twi'lek come to his side and as the male neared, he held his sabercane. The thud of the stasis pod and then retreat of the male made his grip loosen on the cane. Standing, his eyes flicked to Ver'metus and then flipped the switches and opened it. A pneumatic hiss came from the pod with a cloud of dense cold fog. As it cleared his eyes narrowed and peered at what lay inside, it was not possible. Over this much time? Pulling his wrist close he called in droids and 4 came behind him taking the pod to the medical bay where the content of the pod would be taken out, cleaned and then slowly brought back with fluids, temperature and nutrients.
His furrowed brows were slowly lessening and then sat back down. Ver'metus and he would need to talk soon about this revelation.
"Now, what do we think about taking Adumar and making it our new base of operations?"

In Phantom's chambers Ty sat on the couch next to the figure who refused to take off their cloak, feeling more protected with it than without. She was beside herself with excitement, barely containing her joy at the surprise that was in store for her Big Brother, but also as nervous as her company was letting on. The young Sith grabbed them both a drink from the bar and then proceeded to go through the trunk the woman had brought with her, pulling out outfit after outfit and exclaiming her joy over the fabrics
You've been busy! I love them!
Ty rejoined her friend on the couch and spoke low about the possibilities the next few hours would bring, and she swore in the most serious tone Ty could ever speak in, that no matter the outcome, she would not abandon her friend. After all, she was the only female friend Ty had in the universe, so far.

She had to concede that Stormro's idea of Adumar was a very good one. As he explained the current political climate, she searched through the library on her datapad and brought up the planet in front of her. It was clear that his research was sound. Interesting. She pressed her lips in thought and continued to listen. When he finished she looked up, gauging the responses of the others. By the looks on their faces she made a mental note never to play Sabaac with them.
When the Anzat stood, she afforded him the same curtesy, listening and researching as he spoke. Like Stormro's idea, his was rooted in fact and sound research but she was more interested in the pod that the twi'lek had brought into the room. She council help but crane her neck as Phantom opened it. His face was a picture, but no sooner had the shock registered it was gone, lost amongst the flurry of orders. Then Phantom posed his question.
What was she to say? Of course she wanted to go with her idea, it was hers after, all but she had to think objectively. She knew she could have made the Deep Core work, in her bones she knew it but Adumur played up to the deception and manipulation that the Sith were masters at. She nodded and slipped her datapad onto the glass table top.
I see no major issues with it. I'm sure the ride will be a little bumpy, but where's the fun in plain sailing, eh?

Stormro listened silently as Ver'metus presented his suggestion as to where they could create a more permanent power base. While he would be lying if he said that he was not intrigued by what the Anzati had presented, Stormro felt that wanting to build their operations on such an enigmatic planet was more of a risk than he was comfortable taking. Furthermore, he strongly suspected that if this Endelaan was truly as lost as Ver'metus claimed it would be that there would be little in the way of established industry which they could draw upon and in order to bring in enough resources and components to establish an industry they would likely have to negate much of the planet's secrecy. He was about to voice his concerns when Ferinus spoke up, expressing his thoughts regarding the three plans and in the process expressing a desire to see a demonstration of a replica droid's capabilities before he truly felt comfortable entrusting such a machine with such a crucial role in their deception. Chuckling, Stormro's gray eyes glistened with delight as he addressed the Alchemist's concerns. “If you require such a demonstration Ferinus you need only ask, as there is such a droid present in this very room. I am actually somewhat surprised that you did not realize what she was during your mental scans of us as we entered...” He gestured to his left towards the quiet woman who sat at his side and who had been serving as his assistant during his presentation, speaking to her through his neural network uplink as she stood.
“I am Belbe, a highly advanced artificial intelligence inhabiting what Lord Stormro refers to as a Nagai Replica Droid. I was constructed to serve as the commander of his fleets, his personal assistant, and to a lesser degree as his left hand. I am well versed in both small unit and large scale tactics and strategy, both in space and on the ground, and have studied the Makashi form of lightsabre dueling extensively. I have multiple concealed weapons built into my body, can see along the entire light spectrum, and am an accomplished marksman.”
As she spoke of her concealed weapons a thin, ten-inch long blade suddenly erupted out of her right palm without warning, remaining visible long enough for everyone to catch a glimpse of it before it slid back into her forearm leaving only a small, closing slit in the flesh of her palm as the material sealed itself back up and cut off the flow of simulated blood. Producing an immaculate white handkerchief from a pocket with her left hand, she nonchalantly wiped away the blood from her right palm before folding the stained cloth up and sliding it back into her pocket as she continued.
“The truth of my nature is undetectable by anything besides the highest grade of medical scanners, and even then the only anomaly would be that my 'muscle' would read as an 'unknown tissue'. I possess enough strength to fight a Wookie in unarmed combat, can move at speeds beyond that of most unaugmented organics without tiring, and am far more durable than nearly any organic being of a similar size. My only downside, regrettably, is that as of right now I am unable to use the Force...”
With that she returned to her seat next to Stormro, who stood with a cat-like grin on his face as he addressed Ferinus and the others again. “Belbe is, of course, an exceptionally high-end model; I would not waste such perfection on mere pawns when all we need are for them to be convincing simulacrum which we can control. In fact, that control is why they are perfect for this task; they cannot be manipulated, they cannot betray us, and they cannot be easily disposed of via the conventional methods which might be used to...remove a figure of authority from power. We would only need to occasionally update their appearances in order to maintain the illusion of aging and re-skin them when the current ruler "dies" but otherwise they would serve as an excellent way for us to exert our influence on the system without having constantly bribe royalty or maintain whatever we use to control an organic puppet."
As he had spoken Stormro could feel the Force shifting as Ferinus and Phantom pried within his apprentice's mind, speaking to her quickly through the Force as he took his seat and Ferinus addressed her directly with a firm, warning tone. "Mind yourself Apprentice; do not forget what I told you before we entered. As for their mental probing..." Shifting his primary focus to Ferinus, Stormro spoke again from his chair. "The girl is my creature until such a point that I deem her training to be sufficient to release her; until then she is my property and I would be rather cross should she be damaged. She was a Jedi pup not even a year ago Ferinus, and I had not been expecting to introduce her to Sith of your caliber so soon else I would have trained her in ways to keep interlopers out of her mind. Her training is far from complete, and many of the order's sensitivities remain to be removed. For now, however, I shall ensure that you do not...accidentally pick up her surface thoughts again; let us focus on important matters rather than wasting time. The sooner we reach a decision as to where we wish to build the better." True to his words Nel would feel Stormro's presence in her mind expand to ward off any casual prying into her surface thoughts. "Were there any other concerns which you would like to address regarding my proposal for Adumar Ferinus? I do hope that Belbe was able to serve as a suitable demonstration of what my replica droids would be capable of..." He flashed a warm, inviting smile meant to draw the conversation back to Adumar and their potential plans and away from his apprentice. He could only hope that Nel would be wise enough to heed his mental warning and hold her tongue.

"I swear, Master, I did not broadcast anything as they claim I did." There was desperation in her mental voice, a slight note of panic even. Her thoughts became turbulent as she began to doubt herself. Physically, however, her hands clenched in her lap, her fingers digging into the opposing hand as a distraction from the budding anger. Even as she worried about disappointing her Master, there was rage and indignation at their prying. She tucked her tongue between her teeth to keep it from flying. The carefully crafted words she had formulated fell apart at Phantom's words. No... She had been punished enough. She had been disciplined enough. She was good enough. She wouldn't... "There needs to be a reason for killing, whether to further our cause or to keep an enemy off our back. Needless killing fulfills neither. As for my disciplining, it has been adequate. I have plenty of bruising to prove it. Now, if we can go back to the task at hand, I believe my Master asked a question." Her nails dug into the back of her hands, and she kept her head down, avoiding eye contact. It was all she had to not lash out. She had remained surprisingly calm... at least, verbally. There was relief her master could feel. Relief that she had managed to fake a smile, so to speak. "It might not mean much, as I'm his apprentice, but I do believe Adumar might be our best option at this junction."

I have been working for quite some time on this. When your drifting from place to place.
*Ver'metus gaze moves to Ferinus and his eyebrow raised questioningly.*
At which point did I say I was stuck there? I was there by choice, just as you were there by choice. Though, when I thought I detected intruders.. I was going to deal with them... Was very disappointed to not have the chance to eat on someone for being there unwantedly... Though your friend walking into each line of defense did provide a good workout...
*Ver'metus watched quietly as Phantom opened the pod, the Twi'lek moves to sit down in an empty chair.*
I assumed you would want that recovered.
*Ver'metus frowns at the Stormro's display, he wasn't a fan of droids either, much taking the preferance of clones, and conscripts. He would lieing to say it wasn't impressive at least. He hadn't bothered to even examine the now revealed droid, as it just seemed to be a servant of Stormro and hadn't even warrented introduction sooner. He had to at least chuckle at Ferinus being called a lunatic.*
Oh don't mind them, Ferinus /is/ a lunatic. It is nothing new.

*With the pod wheeled off to the infirmary, the being inside is removed carefully by droids, steps are taken to revive the being within, a woman, short silver hair, and dark grey skin. She was wearing what looked like a skin tight body suit that would be worn beneath armour. The suit ripped and torn in places with scars in the dark skin that looked healed already. The droids did their work meticulously, hooking up IV's, and ran scans around the woman, who looked in good health from the readouts.*
*After a time the woman's eyes slowly fluttered open groggily, as though she'd been asleep for some time and wasn't ready to get up. As groggy as she felt, she could make out shapes of equipment around her, and as someone who'd endured torture, and had immense training, waking up not knowing where she was or what was going on, panicked a moment, instinct kicking in she rolled herself off the table, droids moving in to subdue her to finish tests, only spurring her further into wakefulness. Her legs not quite up to the challenge as they hadn't been used in a bit, kick at the nearest droids arm to escape the needle it carried, barely making it move enough in her current state. Her hand snatched up a medical scalpel and stabbed it into the eyelet of the other droid with as much force as she could muster. She tries to roll away from the third one, which catches her arm, she instinctively used her weight as momentum to spin around and land on the back of the droid and grab an arm of the droid and stab it into its body. She falls off of it exhaustedly, she was not in well enough shape for combat and endurance. The fourth droid she didn't have energy to dodge as it plunges the needle of sedative into the side of her neck, she let out a screech of surprise, as more instincts kick in to try and rid her body of whatever "poison" she was being injected with, but soon finds herself falling back into unconsciousness.*

**Ferinus nodded, considering Phantom's and Aysa's words. He noted his brother was leaning toward Adumar. Ferinus also had to admit the idea had a substantial amount of merit. After all, it was the Sith's very nature to deceive, subvert and eventually conquer. To have such a world's unyielding loyalty would be a major victory for their side against both the Ji'Dai and the Sith Pretenders.
He was equally surprised to see Aysa acquiesce to a plan other than her own. She was a strategist. Ferinus could sense she knew how to play the game they were all embroiled in. Each of them were parts of it and they knew just how far to go without ruining what they all desired as a unit. She would be one that Ferinus would need to get to know better before they proceeded any further.
Ferinus listened to his apprentice's own words and admitted he was quite impressed with the Anzati. He was standing on his own in more ways than the Sith Lord could have anticipated. If Ferinus didn't know better, he might even worry.
But as Stormro's....thing....stood and Stormro gestured, clearly delighted, Ferinus took a drag from his drink and pasted on an expression of indifference.**
"The minds I choose to probe, Stormro, are ones of use and merit."
**Ferinus aimed a look at Nell, as if to emphasize the point he just made. But as the putrid droid spoke and gave a brief demonstration, Ferinus could not help but be impressed. Perhaps these machines would make good tools of deception and subversion after all, but words and small efforts only went so far. Ferinus still needed to see more before he was ready to put them on the ground, but he respected his fellow scientist far too much to be snarky at this point.**
"Well done indeed, Stormro! I must commend your work. While this demonstration has not been.....entirely convincing....I will concede that a substantial weight has been lifted off of my doubt."
**And then the little one spoke up and Ferinus chuckled, taking another long drink.
Bruises.
Adequate.
This child knew nothing of real pain or horror.
But Ferinus could not fault her ignorance. Clearly, she had not been taught it yet.
Ferinus sensed this was a touchy subject for Nell and, surprisingly, for Stormro. Still, the Sith Lord would not cave just because feelings would be hurt. Ferinus sensed power within Nell and knew that, under Stormro's tutelage, she could become a formidable warrior and keen mind. However, if such insolence was allowed and such defense provided for her, she would be crippled. How many times had Vitiosus beaten him beyond recognition? How many times had Sinistra tortured his body and mind until he was a mere inch from death? How many times had Feral toyed with his broken, bloodied body, laughing at his feeble attempts to rise in a fight he was grossly overmatched in when he was an apprentice?
And Ferinus was now the stronger for it.
Nell would become strong. Ferinus was sure. But not like this.
But to stress such a point now would serve no purpose and Ferinus refused to let such a thing place any wedges between them. He let his chuckle at Nell's comment suffice and said no more on the subject, though he aimed a knowing look at Stormro.
That is, until his own former apprentice called him a lunatic as well.**
"A lunatic you were more than happy to learn a thing or two from, I might add, Ver'metus."
**Ferinus set his drink down and bridged his hands under his chin, closing his eyes as he spoke.**
"Adumar appears to be the most sound option and Stormro's creations may very well tip the balance toward our favor, should all go according to the plan. I would cast my vote for that plan. We will win this planet's soul and gain our launching ground. Of that, I am certain."
**Ferinus arched an eyebrow at the Twi'lek and the pod and Phantom. NOW what was going on?? Ferinus toyed with the idea of snapping the Twi'lek's neck for a moment or two before eventually deciding against it.**

It seems we are weighted on Adumar Now with that being said, we need a plan before we get to the planet
He stood and pulled the planet up and began to highlight the different countries, and their different contributions to the planet would hover above the countries. These ranged from industry and scrap resources to the shipyards to the money given elite.
We all need to find a country to call our own, go in, and dual for control. Do not kill them, as much as the urge will fill you. It is easier to stay under the radar with a planet acting and functioning as normal rather than one in turmoil.
He shot a look around, the "no killing" was paramount. Taking a deep drink from his glass he set it down with a heavy thud
Each of us will have control of a country that compliments us and we will need a central area to meet and discuss plans as well which I think should be centralized either in Cartann or Yedagon but I think that as far as for myself and Stormro, we can crack one of these areas into two and I will take the industry and facilities and he can handle the elite.
Also your apprentice will need to be with you, I do not think she is anywhere close to being ready to run anything, and we don't want to cause any issues in this transition of power
Sitting down he cracked his neck and looked around
What do you all think?

Ty and the woman continued to converse, every now and then she would look under the woman's cloak and grin
I can't wait to see the outcome!
She went to the bar and got them both drinks, downing two for herself before returning to the couch to wait with her friend. Indeed the outcome would be interesting, but Ty knew she would not get to see all of it
