The Sanctum of the Vaidila was one of the main wings of The Temple of Karabor. The Great Library was located within this section of the Temple, alongside a number of classrooms for studying and teaching

He inclined his head in gratitude. As Zion spoke he took in that the Order was relatively new, he wondered were the origins of this order fed by the members of people with similar sentiment to himself. However he noted Zion took pains not to say too much but his manner was one of openness and he invited Uelis on a tour. The first port of call was to establish what he could from the temple and its surroundings."A tour would be most welcome." He fell into step next to the Master and followed his lead. Zion gave a nod to Uelis before leading the man from the hangar bay and through several hallways, beginning the tour of the Temple by heading through the Sanctum of the Vaidila. There were classrooms all throughout this wing of the Temple, and it would also bring them to the Library as their first stop. But while they walked, it would provide a good chance to chat with UelisSo... where would you like to begin? I could rattle off tales and details all day, but you are here to join us, and I suspect there are things you would like to know more importantly than others...

Uelis followed Zion on the tour. He looked around taking in the surrounding area and architecture. It was a lighter more open space than the Jedi archive which somehow felt more enclosed and darker.
"I want to know what you believe in, what you fight for. I have grown disillusioned with the Jedi order, following my return to the enclave from having been in the far reaches. I realised that not all the Jedi Order preach to be true... is true. They can't hold to the ideals they profess they adhere to. So what I am saying is that I don't want to live and serve by a lie. An order that professes to protect and serve all had no sway or hold in the far reaches."
Uelis paused as he spoke. He hadn't expected such a straight question but he believed the best policy was an honest one.

Zion nodded in understanding. It was an almost familiar tale by this point regarding those that had left the Jedi Order. They had seen the hypocrisy that the Jedi spouted and now sought a place more suited to upholding the ideals they espoused. Zion guided the way into the massive library room which had stacks upon stacks of physical and holo reading materials, while light shone down into the room from windows set high in the rooms walls that lead outside I see... Yes, the Jedi certainly like to talk proclaim their servitude and defense of all living beings, but yet they fall oh so short of this grand goal... I will make no false claims, we are not peacekeepers or great bulwarks of the light that stand for all. We are Knights of an Order whose goal it is to see balance, or as close to it as we can achieve, maintained throughout the Galaxy... The Jedi lack the vision to see that in order for things to be balanced there must be equal parts light and equal parts dark within existence. Balance is not achieved by overflowing all existence with light... It is a simple fact that true balance is impossible, but we can certainly work to maintain the scales as close to equilibrium... Zion came to a stop in front of a large tapestry that was hung on the wall, depicting a war between the forces of light as led by the goddess Raava and the forces of darkness as led by the god Vaatu. Or as others might better know them: Ashla and Bogan I will not profess the same lies that the Jedi did. The simple fact of the matter is, that we cannot always protect and serve all within the galaxy. Though our Order grows stronger and stronger by the day, it's a large Galaxy out there and not everyone wants our help. Those that call out for us, we will do our best to save. We fight for balance and for what our brothers and sisters believe in fighting against... Our three basic tenets are Honestly, Valour, Loyalty. With Honesty being one of the most important tenets we live by. We do not live by a lie, we tell things as they are and accept the truth of a situation. Honeyed words will dry out and leave you stuck by them. That is why I will not try and pretend like we can save everyone and be the guardians the Jedi profess to be. But that does not mean we will not try our hardest to save as many as possible. Idealism will get you only so far in war. Sometimes you just have to face and accept the truth that no one is perfect, but that you still need to fight none-the-less...

As they proceeded to walk and Zion continued leading the tour Uelis listened to the older man's words and as he spoke he felt something left and lighten in him, almost leap, could this be the place? Was perhaps his search concluded before it had even had chance to begin? He could not be sure, nor could he or would he decide so quickly yet of what Zion spoke of was indeed true then Uelis was both interested and fearful in equal measure.
To be part of something that was truly honest was precisely what Uelis wanted, however abandoning the indoctrinated mantra, traditions and beliefs of the Jedi would not be easy, looking upon Bogan or Vaatu as Zion had called the representation of the dark side made Uelis shiver. Taught never to open oneself to the dark side was an inherent Jedi philosophy and hear Zion was speaking of striving to be open to both light and dark, something the Jedi taught was Impossinle and yet Zion did not seem inherently evil or corrupted.
"Your rules seem just and true, could you tell me more about the balance you strive for from the force, how is this achieved, to not let one side rule the other I heard was not possible just too as I heard of the sway the dark side has over those who touch it. How then do you maintain such a balance?"

He offered up a smile as Uelis asked his questions, ones he expected of a Jedi - or more accurately, a former Jedi. Such misguided philosophies would take time to be forgotten. But if Uelis decided to stay here, then they could spend the time needed to help him move past the teachings of the Jedi and gain a new understanding of the Force It is true that the Dark Side can corrupt those that immerse themselves in it, but it is also true the Light Side has an equally opposite and corrupting effect upon those that immerse themselves within it. Many great and terrible things have been done in the name of the light and dark... As for the balance we seek... It is far from a perfect system, but the Je'daii Order of old, the group the predates the Jedi and Sith, managed to find balance in the Force. It takes training, discipline, and control to maintain as close a state to balance as possible. True balance is indeed impossible to achieve. Ultimately you will find yourself falling upon one side of the scale or another ever so slightly. In some moments you will have more light and in others you will have more dark... We teach ourselves to never delve too far down either path too far. Yes, such a life style has certain draw backs upon the abilities we can perform, but we make do...

Iresette had shown herself to be an inquisitive learner with abundant courage for the most part, despite still being quite adolescent compared to most other races. It was something he respected about her: she had a willingness to learn and better herself, despite the harshness of reality which had left her in a coma for several months. For now, his focus was upon teaching her how to control her powers that she had been bestowed. Once she could control it, then he would teach her how to use it in more and more advance applications. Until then, study and practice were important. It was why they were hear, to study those who came before them.
He ushered Ires to the bottom of the ramp where he came to a stop, putting her behind him as loud mechanical activation sounds emanated from two of the nearby statutes. In mere moments, two imposing droids stood before Valon with massive shields for hands. A pair of armour clad figures came striding out of the Temple then and made their way along the path toward the landing pad. Contrary to initial inspection, Karabor was not quite completely abandoned. He just hoped that those who resided here were friends and not foes. He would not risk endangering Iresette by trying to fight these residents should they deny access to the Temple and its archives.
When the two figures at last came to a stop between the droids they offered forth a friendly bow in greeting which Valon returned. So far, so goodWelcome to Karabor traveller, it has been some time since we had a visitor to these hallowed halls...What is it you seek here?Valon inspected the pair of guards. Aside from the first Guard's masculine form and the second Guard's feminine form, their equipment was almost identical. He vaguely remembered mention of the Jedi Temple Guards sharing a similar tradition of anonymityI have come seeking an audience with the Master of this Order of Knights, or failing that, a chance to examine the archives here. Me and my ward are of a people that we believe have shared lineage with those that first built this place... The pair of guards seemed to glance at one another, no doubt telepathically communicating through the Light. He'd seen others use such methods before to discuss matters in private and had even experienced it himself. It was a strange power, somewhat intrusive at first when you did not know or trust the person yet. But he got the feeling the pair before him had an almost complete trust in one anotherMany who once served this Knightly Order have long since passed on or gone missing. Grand Master Morviael was among them... Only us Temple Guards remain... If it is the Archives you wish to visit, then please follow us...The guards turned around as he statues reverted back to their passive state. Valon placed a hand on Ires' shoulder and followed after the guards as they lead the way across the grounds and into the Temple Ires stuck close to Valon's side as the pair of Temple Guards lead the way inside of and through the Temple. It wasn't that the interior was scary, it looked quite nice and clean and very well kept. It was more she was just cautious of those whom inhabited this place since she was so unfamiliar with them. Not to mention their masked and armoured appearance gave them an anonymity which reminded her of the soldiers that had invaded her home. But she didn't sense danger from them. They only sought to protect that which existed here until their Order was strong once more or the last of them died off.
While there were more of them, they too faced the same fate that one day she would have to confront. That they were the last of their kind. But perhaps there was some hope for them, just as there was for her. Looking around as they went, she noted familiar art works and styles. They were not exactly the same, but they were similar enough that it was possible some of her Ancestors had split off and sailed the stars to this place.
They came at last to the great Library of Karabor. Much like the one upon Ossus, this one also had shelves stacked high with reading material and files that stretched for quite a ways. The Guards explained that the Library was filled with a great wealth of knowledge and that the Archives could be access from a corridor in one of the back corners. Ires did not much wait for further explanation, taking the first chance to run off through the stacks. Letting the Light guide her toward the strongest point, trusting it would lead her to some knowledge that would help her and Valon learn about the Temple's origins and the people that had built it
