Known for its cloning facilities, made notable during the Clone Wars, the Blackguard descended on Kamino, with the intent of claiming the cloning facilities for its own use. After a fierce battle on the planet's surface with rebellious clone elements, resulting in the orbital bombardment of the southern section of Tipoca City, the planet was secured by Blackguard forces, adding the cloners of Kamino to the Blackguard's list of subjugated allies.
