Some of these are basically confirmed, others are rumored, some are just ideas...

Writing in Tuskens (any old-canon or disney canon will do), of course. Would just like to see a closer interaction between the Mandalorian and Tuskens.

They did so well with their cast of Original characters, and I want them to get to stand for themselves without any big names coming in to steal part of that spot light. Drop a name or two here and there, sure. Also, it makes the galaxy feel, you know, big. The heroes (or villains) from previous stories aren't always going to be able to get involved with everything happening in the universe.

So I would like to see a few characters appear like Sabine and Ezra which would also mean seeing Grand Admiral Thrawn. I feel like with the appearance of the dark saber and Ahsoka being confirmed to make an appearance that it would be possible to see some sort of story line that explains what happened to both Thrawn and Ezra in the end of Rebels and Ahsoka and Sabine where heading out to look for Ezra at the epilogue of Rebels.

I feel like that would be an entire show just by itself, but maybe they tease that now, and then spin it off?

I think that they could do an episode or two and use them as a backdoor pilot for a new show

Honestly, I wouldn't mind an episode or two where Ahsoka or Bo-Katarn show up, only for them to need Mando's help. I kind of hope they don't have Boba appear. I was never really all that hyped/excited about him to begin with, so...
