She opened her eyes; her pupils dilating to the break of light. Another day on Roon, she thought to herself while catching the scent of fresh Mogo droppings a meter from her head. Azure fastened her chest strap before getting to her feet, throwing her hood over her shoulders. We were meant to meet Carrigan at day break.
We thought - Yeager spoke as he raised his hand to use the force, an overturn tree groaned, breaking through the forest floor when a scatter of rocks inbound for him punctured the rotting wood. - you could use some rest. A third leapt onto the floating tree immediately after, launching after him at incredible speeds. He lifted his Vibrosword against the smashing weight of two lightsabers burning a dark purple.
…those raiders did a number on me. Azure felt her side, still sore but healing rather fast. Electrical burns crawled outwards along the edge of her gash which her companion Anima mended the night before. She'd rather get impaled by a Saber, at least the cuts were clean. Azure thought, watching Yeager and Anima finish up combat training. But I'm not dead and I can still walk, we should make way for the spaceport. He's our only ride into the city.
Anima glared at her rival without expression, her eyes strained on Yeager as if he were prey. She closed her eyes, the humming of the blade filling her head, affecting her vision as if she were looking through a tunnel shrouded by shadows. The molten purple energy of her blade collapsed, she gasped as if to catch her breath while looked directly at Yeager again. She lowered her head in respect beneath her mask crafted from the petrified Wroshyr Wood of the twilight region on Kashyyyk. The crevices in the wood glowed, its energy signature stinking of magic. The shard of wood was still alive, existing in this living state after being viciously torn from its source. Only she could sense it's energy resenating into her and back to it.
Perhaps even a small part of herself getting lost in the labyrinth of the Wroshyr mask.
The Force is with us. Anima spoke briefly in a calm tone before raising her head. He waited until she turned to leave before doing the same. His mind shifted elsewhere - he reached around for the incoming object - the result of his own blind pride clipped him across the head in the form of a two pound lightsaber hilt. Perhaps not.
She didn't mean literally kill me!
He gathered himself through the throbbing pain in his head, sensing the quick and oncoming approach of his combat instructor. Her mind was void, or rather difficult to read but the weight of her step; Anima felt frustrated, not even with him but herself, he finally felt as he turned to face her who stopped after picking up her second hilt.
When the enemy comes, and they literally kill you. Anima pressed the open end of her lightsaber's emitter against his chest. You will not have the luxury of pity.
She released the hilt, allowing the force to flow through the weapon, it levitated upright between the two of them. You will need this today. She stepped back when Yeager took the weapon and ignited the purple blade towards the sky, examining Anima's blade closely, feeling the vibrations of the crystal within. Anima looked to Azure. I am uncertain of our destination, be on guard.
