While Falin's squad continued along the ruined streets and side-alleyways, the other two teams pushed forward through the city. The treks were slow and tedious, as each team had to move through the wreckage and keep an ever vigilant eye out for hostiles while simultaneously maintaining as much stealth as they could muster to avoid detection.
Sergeant Kal'gun, who had been tasked with leading his squad through the middle of the city was held up with his team in a building near the main highway. Eight soldiers remained in the lobby and under cover, making it less likely to be detected while being able to ambush anybody who came into the city. The other four, including Kal'gun, were stationed in the mid-levels of the building and providing reconnaissance over the main thoroughfares. The increased amount in militant activity against the local populace had not gone unnoticed. Kal'gun had reported several acts of abductions as well as mass slaughtering. An unidentified force was making a large push into the city.
Meanwhile, Sergeant Hethrow was leading his team into a position to investigate one of the freighter landing sites that they had spotted earlier...
Hethrow followed his men into the first-floor of a tall residential building as they cleared the area. He had picked this building in particular because it was one of the few that was tall enough, adequately covered, and provided a clear vantage of their targets. As they secured the first floor, Hethrow called out to his men. "Alright, Terv'ban, Junas, and Langli; you are coming with me to the roof. The rest of you secure this floor and make sure nobody gets in. Otherwise, keep a low-profile. We don't want anybody to know we are here."
As they reached the roof Hethrow slowly opened the door leading outside just a few inches and gazed out. Several ventilation systems, laundry lines, poles and wires for communication covered the roof, offering more than enough cover for incoming fire and staying hidden. The four split into two groups and spread themselves on the roof. Langli and Junas were both partners, with Langli being the designated marksman and Junas his spotter/rifleman. Terv'ban was equipped with an RPS-8 rocket launcher, in case they encountered any trouble with hostile vehicles coming in or out of the area.
Junas pulled out his electrobinoculars and began to survey the rooftop in question, making sure to stay in the shadows to avoid giving off a lens flare. His short-ranged commlink sent whatever he was saying to Langli over to Hethrow and Terv'ban. Information and other useful bits of data streamed down the side of the visual display of the optics. "Range, four hundred and six meters. Difference in building height is around two to two and a quarter meters. Freighter sitting on a landing pad with a lot of contacts around it.... looks like there are approximately twelve to fifteen armed guards... the rest look like they are shackled and under watch. Also, looks like there is a lot of equipment around them. Unmarked crates." Junas paused momentarily as he scanned the surrounding city-scape, spotting a vehicle that had pulled up just outside the building. "Second contact, transport outside the building just pulled up... Looks like Twi'lek soldiers. They are moving into the building.... What's the plan Sergeant?"
Hethrow didn't pause as he began assisting Terv'ban with the loading of his shoulder-rocket from behind the cover of one of the ventilation systems. "Wait for my mark; we'll hit the HVT's just as they begin the assault. A single rocket into the cockpit should cripple the craft, but have a small enough blast radius to inflict minimum casualties. Langli, pick targets that will be situated on the opposite side of the ship from where the Twi'lek assault starts to minimize the slaver's cover."

Crom'nen emerged from the tunnel near the location he had triangulated. He had studied for a moment looking for movement. With the city evacuated, only one nearby building had any movement. Stay nearby, but fire only if I do.
Crom'nen drew his blaster rifle and walked down the street, up to the building which contained the second lieutenant he had spoken to on the commlink. He stalked up the stairs without a noise, then kicked open the door where the HQ was located and walked into the room, aiming for the young officer's head. He made sure he was clear of the door. Movement would be unadvisable.

*Ellie also heard the transport approach. She gave a nod to the medic and slowly moved up the stair well. Scanning the surrounding area, she quickly darted behind a crate. If all went well, then they would be able to ambush the slavers from both sides and catch them off guard. As she ducked behind the crate, she couldn't help but feel as if something was very wrong. She peered over the crate and instantly felt a pit form in her stomach. Standing close to her sister, yelling orders at the guards, was a man who looked like an older stockier version of Gesh. She crouched back down and turned to Alema'vrei.*
"Their leader looks like Gesh. The man who killed my Master. Maybe he's related to Gesh or something." *She peered over the crate again. The man had his back to her. There, on his waist, was a lightsaber that looked like her sisters. Closing her eyes, she reached out with the force to grab the lightsaber. Instead something grabbed her around the throat with the force and lifted her off the ground. Ellie choked for air and began to panic, she tried to push whatever had grabbed her away with the force. The invisible force gave some, allowing her some air, but she could not shake it. Her ears were greeted by a cold voice.*
-Slaver- "Curious. I was told a Mandalorian Jedi had killed my brother, and here I thought I captured her. But look at what the force has delivered me. A second Jedi, also a Mandalorian, and whats more so, a twin." *The pressure around Ellie's throat ceased and she dropped to the ground. The man then turned to face her.* "I find it surprising that a Mandalorian would even become a Jedi, let alone two. Then again this opportunity doesn't present itself very often. So I will take full advantage of every force user delivered to me. You and your sister a great opportunity indeed."
*It was then that Ellie glanced at the slavers. Every last one of them had lightsabers. It was a trap, and she had sprung it.*

Alema'vrei stood from her hiding spot at another crate. Screw you.
With the bravery and calmness of a soldier, the medic began firing precise shots at the slavers, starting with the leader.

*Alema'vreis surprise attack caught several slavers off guard, everyone except their leader. His lightsaber was in his hand instantly, blocking the bolst harmlesly away. Others were not so lucky, several slavers dropped before they could defened themselves. Within seconds, the sound of half a dozen or more lightsabers could be heard coming to life. Their leader turned towards the medic. This was the chance Ellie was waiting for, sprinting forward, she struck at the man with her lightsaber. He blocked and perried, the fight was on. Meanwhile, several of the slavers advanced on Alema'vrei, batting blaster bolts to the side. Half turning to the Twi'lek, Ellie yelled.*
"Alema'vrei! Go! go now. I'll slow him down!"

Alema'vrei appeared enraged. She took no heed of the advice. Bring it on you scutta! I'll kill all of you!
She circled away from the door, presenting the slavers as excellent targets to the two Sesk'vati who came up the stairs first, and opened fire on the baddies approaching her.

*Ellie was some parts worried, some parts relieved when Alema'vrei stayed. Her relief grew some at the sight of reinforcements storming onto the roof. Two more slavers dropped as the Sesk'vati emerged joined the fray. She turned to their leader as he brought a powerful swing down on her. Dodging to the side she avoided the attack, then struck at the mans side. Pivoting on the spot he blocked it before shoving forward with all his strength. Ellie stumbled back, but quickly regained her footing just in time to block another attack. She let the mans lightsaber slide past hers before bringing hers up in a full bodied swing. The man barely had time to dodge it as it came close to his head. She was about to strike again, when a loud whine and a low rumble shook the platform. The sound was familiar to her, the freighter was preparing to take off. Panic filled her as she watched the slavers begin to back up towards the boarding ramp. She backed up, putting distance between her and their leader. Quickly her eyes scanned the platform, but she could not find her twin. During the confrontation she had lost track of her.*
*It was then that she spotted a slaver carrying her up the ramp, followed by another slaver shoving several Twi'leks after them. Her attention fell on their leader, the man gave a smirk and slowly backed up towards the boarding ramp.*
-Slaver leader- "You have spirit. I like that. Maybe another time child. For I know we'll meet again."
*He stepped onto the boarding ramp just as the ship began to lift slowly off the roof. Ellie let out a yell of anger and charged the man. She jumped up onto the edge of the boarding ramp and swung a full powered strike at the man. What happened next caught her off guard. Her strike his blade, the next swing air, then. A loud crack like a blaster shot resounded from her lightsaber. Things seemed to move in slow motion as she watched her lightsaber get cut in half, the blue blade instantly fazed out as parts scattered from the remains of her hilt. A boot greeted her stomach, tossing her from the boarding ramp, then the hangar floor. She hit the ground with a heavy thud, her breath vacated her lungs and her body wracked with pain. She laid there on the amongst the dead and injured, watching the freighter sprint off towards orbit. As she lay there, she felt as if the weight of the galaxy was crushing in on her.*
"...Kaiya."

=Alema'vrei= Froz! They got away. At least we cost them plenty. They won't be coming back here any time soon.
The medic looked around, and realized that some of the slaves were missing, including the human. If she were better travelled, she may have realized that it was the missing twin, but to her, all humans looked alike anyway. Our people will find them, don't you worry about that. A group of Force users with a penchant for Twi'lek slaves won't be hard to find. Then the Golden Tongue will do his thing. Are you all right?
It was true, the medic was riding a battle high, consumed with adrenaline. She didn't realize she was excited and rambling.

"No. I'm not okay." *Ellie spat out bitterly. She slowly stood up and regained her balance. Her gaze fell upon what was left of her lightsaber in her right hand.* "I wasn't fast enough to stop them."
*She could feel disappointment and anger welling up in her. Everything she tried to do as a Jedi lately always ended in failure or caused pain for another. She was sick of it. The sound of someone coughing caught her attention. She turned to see a badly injured slaver trying to sit up. Dropping the remains of her lightsaber, she stormed over to the man and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt.*
"Where did they take them?" *It was blunt and straight to the point. The man looked up at her and gave a slight grin, causing blood to trickle from his mouth. Ellie could sense that the force was strong in him, but no where near the level of most Jedi or Sith. The slaver gave a forced laugh at the question.*
-Slaver- "Why? Do you plan on chasing them down little Jedi? Trying to be the hero? What good could you.."
*His rambling was caught short by a fist into the side of his jaw.* "Where are they!?"
*The man spit out some blood before turning his head back to Ellie. He seemed unfazed by her tactics.*
-Slaver- "Vengeance. Good. That's what we're looking for." *He paused for a moment, gazing into Ellie's eyes.* "There's a planet in the outrim. It's surface is covered by a vast fungal forest. A terrible place, a dark place. That's where you'll find them. That's where you'll meet your true purpose."
*Ellie thought for a moment on what this planet could be. Then it clicked, she had heard of it several times before.* "Felucia?"
-Slaver- "You are a quick one. But yes, Felucia. There you will find what you seek. You will join your sister, or die try.."
*His words were cut short as Ellie smashed him bodily into the ground. She felt his force signiture abrubtly end, signaling his demise. This was the second person she killed out of anger, but she felt not pity this time. She straitghened up and looked out over the horizon. Her thoughts raced for a moment before she spoke.* "Alema'vrei. I need to get to the ship my master and I crashed in. There's supplies in there I need to get." *She turned to face the medic. Her eyes filled with both determination and vengeance.* "I'm going hunting."

The medic's expression quickly changed. She went from excitement, so a solemn sadness. I understand. I really and truly do. My sister was taken, remember? And there was nothing I could do. That's why I joined the Obyrru when she returned.
That said, there are people dying, here and now. I won't stop you, but they need your help too. In the mean time... The medic stopped and scooped up a lightsaber off of the fallen and tossed it. This will have to do you in the mean time, Lia'ry.
The other soldiers began to police the bodies, but Alema'vrei headed toward the stairs.

*A small pit formed in Ellie's stomach when Alema'vrei mentioned her sister. For a moment Ellie had had forgotten, but that was under the circumstances. Now she was forming a common bond with these peoples plight. She caught the lightsaber the medic tossed her.*
"You're right. Others do need help. For a short time longer. But I can't risk losing their trail while it's still fresh." *She then followed after the Twi'lek down the stairs.*

The medic, in truth, was relieved. She knew that Mazer'dura would not survive his wounds. That was just one more loss from the day. While she would allow the young girl to follow her conscious, she was not sure she could have taken the loss of her newest friend. Where to next?

*Ellie extended her awareness out with the force, trying to catch anything living that might be nearby. She could sense three groups, each a different direction then each other.*
"There's a group east of here, a large one. Ten maybe more. I can sense two force users with them. Another search party more then likely. A small group to the south, three or four there. They seem shaken and afraid. More survivors most likely. A short distance beyond them. I sense great pain, someones badly injured. We should.." *She paused as she tried focusing in on the injured being. Without warning their force signature vanished. She let out a sigh and turned to the medic.* "Their gone." *Her gaze turned southward and she began walking.* "I guess we head towards the group then."

*Ellie made her way towards the group. After several minutes of walking, the came upon a group of for Twi'leks. The group consisted of one male, two females and a small child. They were seeking refuge in a small building that looked as if it recently suffered damage. The male slowly stepped out of the building to meet Ellie and Alema'vrei.*
-Twi'lek- "Have you came to help? Is that thing gone?"
*Ellie stopped a short distance from him and gave a nod. She knew exactly what the thing was he spoke of.* "Yes we're here to help. And yes, the hostile fighter is gone. Are any of you injured?"
-Twi'lek- "Yes. Vyn has injured her leg." *He gestured to one of the female Twi'lek just visible through the doorway.* "And my son, Zhar, has several cuts on his arm. We are greatful you arrived when you did."
*Ellie turned to Alema'vrei.* "Looks like our works not done yet."

The medic nodded, suddenly very tired. She pulled some bacta patches out of her bag and handed them to the human to tend to the boy, then she started to examine the woman. Don't worry. Senator Crom'nen has arrived and is in charge until a new Clan Council can be established. I am Alema'vrei, and this is my Twa'janii.

*The Twi'lek gave a bow of respect to Ellie and Alema'vrei.*
-Komad- "My name is Komad. This is my wife, Oola. We were heading towards safety when the attack began. Our convoy however, was ambushed. We managed to escape. I'm not sure about the others though." *Komad glanced across the wreckage from where he stood.* "I hope he brings order soon."
*Ellie listened to the Twi'lek as she moved over to help the child. She crouched down beside him and began to mend is arm. He seemed nervous at first, probably his first encounter with an offworlder. He quickly became less shy after Ellie began to help him. She then turned to Komad.*
"Where did you plan to go?"
-Komad- "There is an old bunker not far from here. A remnant of the Clone wars. It was supposed to be burried and forgotten about, instead it was turned into a warehouse do to its size. Several other families were heading there as well. But we were to late. These slavers had already taken a hold of it before we arrived. Our convoy was ambushed on arrival. Those slavers, they took a large group down there, we saw them."
*Ellie glanced over at Alema'vrei then back to Komad.*
"Where is this bunker?"
-Komad- "East of here, not far." *He pointed in the direction of the bunker. Ellie turned her attention back to the medic.*
"I know where we're going next."

While thirty six soldiers were out in the field getting collecting intelligence and moving towards the center of the city, the other twenty four were still in the headquarters. They had been assigned to guard the complex against attacks and remain on stand-by in the event their comrades within the city needed reinforcements. A designated marksman and his supporting spotter had been stationed on the roof to provide over watch on the area, while another designated team sat within the building next to the field HQ and provided a second over watch from the shadows. The rest of the team had been scattered inside the HQ at various windows that provided vantage points of the surrounding streets.
So when a lone figure came down the street towards their command center, recognized as a Twi'lek, the spotter alerted Second Lieutenant Lahiir. She ordered for a continued cease-fire, and that the soldiers guarding the first-floor entrance move into cover within the building and only fire if fired upon. As they moved into their respected positions, Lahiir sent an encrypted message to one of their outlying reconnaissance outpost for a single piece of information. She had a hunch as to who this lone figure might be if not a scout, and wanted to make sure...So when Crom'nen burst through the door, Lahiir had just finished looking at an image of the politician that the outpost had sent from rummaging around on the holonet for a few seconds. She calmly stood up straight from her position next to the comm arrays, staring past the rifle barrel to the face she had but moments ago seen on the datapad. She slowly nodded to the Twi'lek senator. "And shooting me would be unadvised." Stationed in various points around the room, whose bodies were generally in cover except for their face, shoulder, and rifle, were soldiers pointing their weapons directly at Crom'nen. Lahiir slowly brought her arms up slightly and to the side in a submissive gesture. "There is no need for this hostility between us, as we are on the same side. My men will lower their weapons when you do." After a brief pause the second lieutenant cautiously took a few steps over to the table hosting the battleground holo-map of the city. She had made sure to clear it of the soldiers locations in the field, but left the tracked movements of enemy activity that had been called in. She looked back up to the esteemed senator, gesturing for him to take up a spot on the opposite side of the table.

Alema'vrie stopped her examination long enough to toss the man her datapad. I need exact coordinates of that bunker. Exact. You're wife has a torn ACL. It's non-life threatening, but it will require surgery. Kala'uun will be your best bet. The medic then came over to see how the human was doing, and nodded with approval.
Meanwhile...
Crom'nen moved to the seat, still with the blaster rifle pointed and gave the predatory smile that only a Twi'lek could give. Then his face became as serious as death once more. I don't know if you've noticed, girl, but the ship belonging to the allies who were supposed to help us just crashed into our capital killing thousands, including our governing officials. I also entered here willingly, knowing I would be surrounded. Threatening a man who has little to lose is not a winning strategy. You order your troops to lower their weapons first. I'm sure that if I deem you worthy of death, there is more than enough of them to avenge you.

*Komad gave a nod as he caught the datapad. He typed in several coordinates before handing it back.*
-Komad- "We will head there as soon as possible."
*Ellie took the datapad and check the coordinates. The bunker wasn't that far off, maybe a several minutes trek at best. She stepped back from the child and turned to Komad.*
"Thank you Komad. This may save a lot of lives." *She held up the datapd. The Twi'lek however waved a dismissive hand.*
-Komad- "It's the least we could do. Besides, we must help each other whenever possible during these times."
*Ellie gave a slight bow in return before shifting her gaze to Alema'vrei.*
"Ready?"
