Journal of the Whills Personal Databanks

The Whill Council has decided to do a restructuring and revamp of the Journal of the Whills to bring more attention to this useful aspect of the site. We hope that once we have everything finished this will once again be a tool for fantastic Star Wars stories and roleplay.

But first, we are asking everyone who has an open thread in the Active Storylines sub-board JotW to please let us know if it needs to be placed in the Archived Storylines or Completed Storylines sub-board. We have created a new thread in the JotW to let us know where they should be moved, if at all. If the original creator of the JotW is no longer active, but you wrote in it, you may also request it be placed in the proper sub-board. Just make note of your role as a participant in the appropriate request thread.

JotW Categorization Requests: Here, please provide a link to your JotW thread with the title, and specify whether the JotW is to be placed in the Personal Databanks, Archived Storylines or Completed Storylines sub-board. If your JotW thread is still ongoing, please fill out the form as normal and choose the Active Storyline option in the categorization thread. It will be left in the Active Storylines sub-board.

After 90 days of this announcement, any JotW threads that are not active (determined by the Whills) and have not been designated where they should be placed shall be moved and locked in the Archived Storylines sub-board. If you believe any thread was moved in error or wish for an old JotW to be unarchived, please make a request in the JotW Categorization Requests thread.

We have also created a new sub-board named Personal Databanks. Here, you can create threads that take the place of, or work in addition to, your character's personal profile. Remember to link any of these threads on your actual profile so that anyone who looks for them is aware of them. Here, you can use the space of a thread to post multiple additions to a regular profile such as (but not limited to) NPCs, Fleets, Biography, etc. If you have a JotW that should be moved to the Personal Databank sub-board, put in the request in the Archived or Completed Storylines request thread with the link and title.
