The world was volatile with hundreds of active volcanoes, producing a noxious, toxic atmosphere and intense electrical storms. These conditions, combined with the planet's rich mineral deposits, caused the native Sullustan inhabitants to live in underground caves. The underground caves were humid and cool, with a diverse biosphere supported by underground lakes.

Nothing could exist or survive on the very surface of Sullust. A fact which Ifrit Bladeweaver had been perfectly content with. It meant that he could create a base of operations here that was hidden from prying eyes. And that was exactly what he had done. When he had come to Sullust several months ago to begin the construction of his fleet, Ifrit had scouted out several locations on the surface of the volcanic world. Eventually settling upon the site he had chosen.
It started with a hidden tunnel that dropped down a couple miles beneath the surface, before making a ninety degree turn and running for another couple miles in a straight line. The tunnel itself was just barely large enough to accommodate the Gozanti-class Cruiser that Ifrit regularly used. In fact, the TIE Interceptors had to be detached and flown out separately to make the journey in and out.
At the end of the tunnel was a giant durasteel blastdoor which separated the tunnel from the underground cavern beyond it. The cavern itself was fairly featureless. A giant island sat within the middle of the lake which took up most of the cave. On the far side that sat opposite the tunnel, was a second island which connected to the cave wall.
The central island was setup as a large landing fields of sorts. Large enough to accommodate the Gozanti, alongside a handful of smaller ships. A metal bridge spanned the lake between the central island and the far shore, which a number of buildings had been built. Many of which were freestanding, while some clung against the cavern wall. It looked like a small underground town. Though, it was devoid of the usual amount of people that something of its size should support.
Instead, it was a private haven for Ifrit and those within his command. Each building serving as some sort of laboratory, residence, or what ever else was required. Beyond the town, was another opening into the rock face. This tunnel was far smaller than the one that lead in from the surface. It was meant as a passageway between the cavern and the volcano which was a short walking distance away.
For much of it, the tunnel was full enclosed, with cables running along the roof carrying information and power between the Volcano and Cave. Linking the two. But as the tunnel came to the base of the Volcano, the tunnel opened up in to an underground ravine, with a stone bridge crossing from one side to the other, where a cut out in the rock face provided a large landing area leading to another blast door.
It was here, that Ifrit had positioned his two sentinels. Ragnos and Ragnok. Creatures composed of smoke and fire which had been birthed by a combination of Magic and Alchemy. The unwary visitor would only notice two piles of armour, but as they approached the door, the two guards would rise from the lava flow below and inhabit their physical forms. Ready to ward off any unwelcome guests.
Beyond the blast door, the tunnel ran for a short distance through the volcano wall, before opening up to a large rock platform that hung within the middle of the Volcano.
A sea of lava flowed within the base of the Volcano. But its heat was held back by the shield generators that were littered around the edge of the platform and the wall of the Volcano. There were also a number of Sith Runes carved into the rock face aiding in taming the Volcanoes power.
The rock platform was covered with various items needed for use by Ifrit to perform his alchemy and magic. The walls of the volcano were further pitted with caves and tunnels filled with alchemical creations that make up Ifrit's Horde...Ifrit walked across the small bridge on to the main platform. Everything had finally finished being set up by Ikaros while he had been away raiding Pzob. His base of operation was finally ready to operate at full capacity. He could focus upon the next phase of his plans. For which he had many plans. The first of which involved creating a holocron. The second of which, involved seeing whether Vasari was going to accept his offer to train with him

Ifrit cleared a work bench of its things, before setting down several items. At a glance, it looked like a bizarre collection of shaped metal, horns, a skull, and several different crystals. Eventually though, Ifrit knew it would take form and become a receptacle of knowledge which he could pass on. It would also be the final art he stole from Bara'duun, before killing the Sith and sending him back to the ethereal pit from where he had been pulled from.
Ifrit had very few regrets in his life. In fact, he could count them all on one hand. The first and foremost was losing Tyrande. His former Master and the one woman he had ever truly loved. The second, was allowing Bara'duun to be resurrected.
While the aged and disfigured Sith had taught him all that he knew of Alchemy and Magic. Bara'duun had also taught him to harness and control the powers that he wielded. Reminding him to always focus upon what he wanted and why he was doing what he was doing. Not for personal power, but for the love he bore Tyrande. So that he could return her from the Force and bring justice upon the Jedi that had sent his Master to her death. And while justice had been served upon the council that had wronged him, he now had to balance the score and right the wrongs he had committed to bring Tyrande back.
A task he knew would one day result in his own death. An inevitability that no Sith had ever managed to escape. Vitiate had come close by transferring his soul between bodies and dominating the minds of his vessels. But it was no true immortality. Palpatine and Bara'Duun had used essence transfer upon cloned bodies. A refinement upon Vitiate's process. But a process that still did not eliminate death entirely.
They had all tried to escape it. But death claims everyone, no matter what. All Ifrit could do, was ensure that his knowledge was passed on to those he had chosen. For they would continue the work he had started. At least Banríon would, with the aide of whoever would out last him. As for Vasari... Her path was one he had no control over. He could merely teach and advise her of the path ahead, so long as she was willing.
Ifrit raised his hand over the table then. His sight retreating to darkness as he focused upon the gathered materials. He reached out with the Force, enacting his will upon each item to draw them together in a union that he wanted them to exist as

Hours turned to days as Ifrit meditated upon the materials necessary for creating his Holocron. Each item floating through the air as it was bathed in the power of the Force that was exuded by the Master Spellweaver. All the while, he concentrated upon the sole task he had at hand to complete. Whereas Sith fueled their holocrons with strong emotions such as anger or confidence, Ifrit merely sought to ensure his knowledge would last on.
The crystals slid inside of the skull then, before they were stretched and strung around the interior of the skull. Forming the matrices which would store the accumulated knowledge that Ifrit intended to impart to future generations. Each strand being precisely placed as Ifrit intended them to be.
Even as he finely tuned the interior matrix, he started to fuse the horns to the forehead of the skull. The Force melting and manipulating the two materials into a cohesive whole. The metal plates wrapped around the skull then, forming the lower jaw and protective crown. Forming something that looked truly demonic in origin, whilst still looking somewhat like the visage of Ifrit

Luxeria's ship dropped down closing in with the surface before finally leveling off. Once she was set, she made the turn to head straight for the given coordinates. It was during this flight that she tried to get a good handle of the terrain around her. Much as she expected, it was another world, quite similar to Mustafar, yet somehow, different. Still, same or different, one thing she was sure of was that living on the surface was not a wise choice.
As she approached the coordinates, she looked out, hoping to see the temple there. Yet, she did not. Not even a small structure to indicate anything. Were they playing her? Was it a trap? Sure, she figured that surviving on the surface was something that could be very difficult, but she still expected to see a surface building, just well built to keep those inside safe from the environment.

Banríon stood smiling with her eyes closed. Viewing the world through the eyes of one of the winged sith spawn creatures that were under her command. The pair of bat like creatures spotted the ship as it sat in the air above the crevice leading into the underground base. Banríon directed the pair to fly close by the shuttle before diving down, leading the visitor down to the tunnel leading to the underground cavern that served as a hangar bay

As she flew over, Kyra's voice suddenly came through the ship's speakers. ::Incoming. Unknown creatures approaching.::
Luxeria looked at the scanners, then out in front of her, seeing the creatures flying up towards her. "What the hell? What are those things?" She gave a frustrated grunt as her hands gripped the controls tighter. "Prepare for evasive maneuvers." She then pulled up, letting the creatures pass by her. She hadn't got an actual figure on their size, so she wished to avoid hitting them encase they'd be capable of causing damage. Outside of that, she had no clue what these things were. were they native creatures just trying to attack her, thinking she was invading their territory? Or were they creatures under control of those below? It was this thought that kept her from firing on them. If she tried to avoid them long enough, someone would contact her about them.
She didn't have to worry about it though as they were quickly on each side of her, flying casually for a moment before pushing ahead of her. The action was much too intellectual for primitive creatures, making her believe that this was meant to be her guide. After a few moments, they took a dive into the crevice below. It seemed like a tight fit, but if that was where she was being guided, that was where she'd go. "Alright, Kyra. This might be tight. Stay alert." With that, she followed them down into the tunnel. In the end, the tunnel was a little bigger than expected, letting her pass through pretty smoothly. It wasn't long before they reach an area that looked to be a hangar.
Setting the craft down, she powered her systems down before departing the ship, waiting at the end of the ramp for an escort.

As Luxeria’s ship made its way into the hidden entrance, Banríon opened her eyes. The bats still remained linked to her mind and would remain on course as she headed across the bridge into the landing pad area. She watched as the transport flew through the blast door, which closed behind the ship. Maintaining the cooler climate that was common for the underground cities of Sullust. When at last the ship landed and lowered its ramp, Banríon headed over to greet the woman that exited the ship Welcome to Sullust Lady Luxeria... So, what brings you out to our far corner of the galaxy?

Luxeria watched as the being made her way over to Luxeria. She was certainly hard to miss with her appearance. Nothing about her clicked about any known race among the galaxy and could only speculate that her form had been altered in some way or form, much like Ifrit himself. From the natural looking armor pieces that looked like chitin, to her hair, and, of course, the wings that protruded from her back, this woman was certainly a sight to see. And yet, despite it all, there was a sort of appeal in her appearance, not that Luxeria had any desires in letting herself be changed like that.
Not knowing the woman, her rank, or even her way of thinking, Luxeria gave a slightly bow simply out of respect for being allowed into her home, once Banrion finished speaking and before finally addressing her. "I have since left the apprenticeship of my master, Darth Malvus, and become a Sith Warrior among the Blackguard. In being granted this rank, I felt it would be in my best interest to set out and see the other worlds under Blackguard rule, or, at least, those that housed temples and academies. I've been to a few prior, but never here. And upon learning that Lord Ifrit made his residence here, thought this would be my first stop."

Banríon inclined her head to the newly minted Sith Warrior. From what she could read of Luxeria, the woman was being honest in her intentions to meet Ifrit. She did not seem to harbour any ulterior motives or hidden agendas that may have been set upon her by Malvus or Viox Well, this is most certainly unlike many of the temples and academies you've been to before... Please, follow me... Banríon turned around then and lead the way back across the bridge. While the outside setting was fairly standard of a world a dark sider might create a base on, the base itself was far from that. As they reached the other side of the bridge and continued upon the path leading to the caverns edge, Banríon nodded toward the buildings Since we're passing it by, I'll give you a bit of a brief tour... These are the living quarters and green house area for some of Lord Ifrit's work. If you are looking to spend a few days here, you are more than welcome to make use of one of the buildings as your temporary residence... Without skipping a beat, she kept their pace up. Leading Luxeria into the tunnel that lead from the cavern to the Volcano. Despite how far it might have seemed, it was not long before they arrived to the rock bridge Do you see those sets of armour? They are Lord Ifrit's guards. They stand vigil day and night, without rest... As if in answer to her introduction, two pillars of lava rose up from the flow below and took their forms of smoke and fire. Banríon crossed the bridge first, looking up to Ragnos as he looked down upon her General Shoird... I see you have brought a visitor...
I have. Lady Luxeria of the Blackguard. Now, allow us to pass. The two behemoths regarded Luxeria for a moment, before looking to one another and nodding in agreement As you command General... The sets of armour settled down upon the ground as the two guards slipped back down into the lava flow below. Banríon kept on towards the other side of the bridge, before coming to a stop outside the blastdoor that lead into the Volcano itself. She stepped to the side as the door slid open with an unusual ease for metal so close to such heat You will find Lord Ifrit beyond. Just follow the path...
Ifrit took a breath as the last of the construction of his holocron was completed. The final filaments moving into their correct structure to maintain the integrity of the holocron. All that remained was the final process of imprinting his mind into the object. A process that would have to wait for another time as he was drawn from his meditation by a disturbance within the Force

Luxeria fell into step behind Banrion as she led them back into the temple. In some aspects, the temple didn't seem like much. Then again, that was most likely the point. Whereas the academy on Iridonia and the new temple on Mustafar were built with an idea of grandeur, this one didn't hold the same appeal, at least from first glance. Still, she made note of the areas mentioned on their little tour. The living quarters only stood out in the idea that she might be here for a couple days, but it was the greenhouse that caught her attention. She knew the man was a practitioner of Sith Magic as she had been witness to some of his spells on Pzob and wondered if these plants were involved or if they had another purpose. While not a user of Sith Magic, herself, seeing it used firsthand brought about a deep respect for those who did practice it. Vasari had shown interest in the art and Ifrit had shown them both what the Zabrak could potentially be capable of.
Continuing on, she moved across the bridge with the woman as the armors were pointed out. When stated that they were guards and stood day and night, she couldn't help but wonder if that was literal or figurative. Were that given life by his magic or were they merely sets of armor meant to intimidate and keep intruders away? It wasn't until the creatures rose from the lava that she guessed it was probably the prior. As they spoke, she gazed upon them, intrigued by them. Beings created by Ifrit, no doubt, and capable of such sentience. Quite an amazing work of art, if asked her opinion. "Magnificent." Those were the words spoken before being allowed to pass.
Reaching the door that held the master of the temple, Luxeria bowed. "Thank you." She then moved inside, following the path, making her way to where Lord Ifrit waited.

Ifrit picked up the holocron and carried it over to it's pedestal, placing it down atop the unassuming stand. But as he drew his hand back, a force field activated around the relic to provide it an extra layer of security from nimble fingers. He turned his head toward the far end of the rock platform then, as he heard a pair of footsteps drawing closer. He turned around fully, moving toward the center of the work area as he expanded his field of view. Using the Force to view along the length of the tunnel. Quickly seeing who it was that had come to visit him. He waited a few moments, allowing her time to exit the tunnel into the belly f the Volcano, before speaking Luxeria... You're a long way from home...

Luxeria could feel Ifrit's power growing as she moved closer to his location. He was, indeed, a powerful being and one worthy of being a master of the Blackguard. And as far as she knew, none possessed the knowledge or power to be considered the Master Spellbinder of the order either. Each of the masters she had seen and met thus far each showed a particular mastery separate from each other. From warrior, to scientist, to assassin, to tactician, and more. Though, when it came to her own master and Viox, she guessed they embodied at least a few of these skill sets in order to hold their positions. To lead meant more than just having power. The big question in her mind was where she would rest once she reached that level. She knew what she wanted from her power in the long run: manipulation and control. While she had stepped down that path, it wasn't the only thing she was growing in. She was learning to be a strong warrior for direct combat as well as stealthy enough to be an assassin as well. She had to ensure she could handle multiple situations at any time.
As she entered, she quickly noticed the pedestal and the holocron that laid thereon. Only for a moment did she reflect on it, guessing it to be either his own or prized find from an old Sith Lord. Either way, it was of no concern to her at the moment. When he addressed her, she gave a bow, holding it longer for him than the woman that had escorted her. After a few seconds, she stood tall again, her eyes focused upon him.
"It is a pleasure to see you again, my Lord. Indeed, I have traveled quite the distance to come here. I apologize for the sudden intrusion upon your home."

He crossed his arms as he regarded Luxeria. Noting the bow she gave him. It was curious to him that the Sith espoused power and strength, and yet required their disciples to bow as if they were inferior beings. It was a strange religion, and one he did not care to delve deeply within himself. But despite her submissive greeting, he sensed some growth within Luxeria. It had been quite a while since last he saw the woman. If his memory served, it was either the raid of Pzob or Felucia when last they had seen one another. He took a few steps closer to Luxeria then It has been a while... You've certainly grown since then. But clearly not fully... Do not apologize. You came here for something, I suspect. So tell me... What brings you to my home?

Despite the mindset behind the Sith, it mainly out of simple respect to a being who was clearly more powerful than herself that Luxeria offered a bow to the masters of the Blackguard. In time, she would not bow as she would be their equals, but would still offer up respect to those who were worthy of such prestige.
When he made mention of her growth, she gave a nod. "Indeed, I have. Enough that the Sith'ari and Lord Malvus felt I was no longer at the level of an apprentice and have since been granted the rank of Sith Warrior. Still, if one does not dedicate themselves to their training both during and after one's apprenticeship, growth becomes stagnate and one can never hope to achieve the position of master. I still have quite a ways to go to reach that level."
When asked why she had come to Sullust, she was going to respond just as she had with the woman that escorted her. But she paused. It was true that she came merely to visit the worlds and temples inhabited by those of the Blackguard. She hoped that the journey and time spent within them would connect her further to the Dark-Side and show her new ways to progress her training, new avenues of becoming stronger. Yet, despite this, a thought as resonated within the back of her mind since arriving. "I have come to Sullust in what I guess could be seen as a pilgrimage. Sith moving up the ranks, I decided to set out and visit other worlds and temples under the rule of the Blackguard. To learn, to connect, to seek out new ways of becoming stronger. Yet..." She paused for a moment more as she stood taller as she set her gaze upon the man, ridding any fear or doubt from her mind as she spoke the last bit. "upon arriving, I remembered the title given to you: Master Spellbinder of the Blackguard Reborn. Being a master of Sith Magic, I can't help but ask if you are also a practitioner of Sith Alchemy? If so, I ask for your help as my own skills do not reach to these powerful arts."

He was impressed by her wisdom. Perhaps there was hope yet for Luxeria to become more than she was. He sensed her moment of pause, before she resolved herself on a new line of thought. He was curious to see just where she was headed with this. Especially as she started to ask about his skills and abilities. He laughed as she made mention of the title that Viox had bestowed upon him Master Spellbinder... Yes that was the title I was given by Viox. Not simply for my mastery and knowledge of Magic, but also of Alchemy... Whether I can help you though, that all depends: What is it that you require? He slowly started to pace around her then, looking her over as he tried to guess what she wanted before she told him outright Training? Maybe... A favor.... Hmmm... A weapon? No, you have your blades... You seek something to protect yourself...

Luxeria gave a smirk as he spoke. "Your ability to see reality is beyond most in this galaxy, my Lord. I do not seek training, at least not at the current time. Perhaps once I have mastered the abilities I have sought to learn, then I may opt to learn one of the two arts to further my knowledge."
Lifting her arms, she brought to his attention the bangles on each wrist. They were identical in shape and design, the only difference was the jewels adorning them. Her right bangle housed a large deep blue gem while the right held a large purple gem. Force energy could be detected within them, yet they remained quiet. It wouldn't take anything for Ifrit to catch on to these crystals being kinds used for lightsaber combat. "When I set off to gather the components for my lightsaber, I chose crystals with properties that would enhance my blade. But their were others that could enhance my skills further outside of honing my saber. A Stygium crystal to aid me in using my stealth techniques and a Dantari crystal to help me in replenishing my Force energy while in a fight. Some may see it as weakness among the Sith to seek aid from something other than using one's own skills, but I know that despite that, one should never deny what advantage they can gain against their enemy." She then lowered her arms. "However, unlike my lightsaber, they have yet to truly work, despite tuning them like the trio of crystals in my hilt. For months I've wondered why that is so, though I have yet to truly grasp an answer. Is it that they require a source of power? Or do they have to be utilized differently? With your skills in magic and alchemy, I hoped that you would have the answer I could not find, and if so, be willing to aid me."
Taking a small breath, she continued. "I am also seeking to forge a Sith mask for myself. In battle like on Felucia, I want to be seen, my presence to be felt. But while it is uncertain if the Sith'ari will utilize me as such, I have learned skills that would be of benefit as an assassin. If I am deployed, I wanted to create a mask to keep my face hidden from those who may see me. And not only did I want it to possess the abilities found in every mask, but to distort my presence so at no point can it be traced back to myself."

She was quite skilled in the art of flattery. That much was plain from the way she spoke. It was a good skill to have, especially among the ranks of the Blackguard. For some, it could get you far. But Ifrit paid it no more heed than as simple words of praise.
His attention was soon drawn to the bangles that Luxeria put on display for him. Even as she started to speak, he was already examining both crystals in the Force. His gaze studying each facet and the weak signature they gave off within the Force. Listening all the while to Luxeria's explanation, and her request. Part of his mind already at work trying to devise a method through which to allow both crystals to be used in the ways she hoped to use them. He continued to circle her as she went on. Requesting his aid in creating a Sith Mask for her to use Hmmm, It is a shame you want to cover up such a pretty face with something so... ugly... He came to a stop in front of her, his full attention clearly upon her as he stood there. Debating for a moment whether he should offer his help to her or not. He suspected if he did not aid her, she might get inferior work from an inferior practitioner, which could ultimately lead to her demise. Which might not be such a loss. But on the other hand, he might be able to teach her something worthwhile Both requests are well within my realm of skill to help you with... Neither one will be an easy process. But I suspect you already knew that... So let’s start with that which you have already begun the process toward... He reaches his hand toward her then, his palm facing up Your bangles...

A smirk appeared upon her face as Ifrit gave off his own words of flattery. Letting her head tilt slightly to the right in a kind of shrug, she chuckled a bit. "Well, only when needed. After all, this pretty face is part of my power against the weak willed and easily manipulated." And it was the truth. Before she ever knew she could use the Force, her beauty had started her down the path of the Dark-Side. She noticed how well it affected others, how she could use it to get what she wanted. Even though she had come to learn it didn't work on everyone, hence her training as a Sith, it still held its sway over many beings.
When the man made the choice to help her, reaching out to her and speaking of the difficultly that would come, she nodded, removing the bangles first from her right, then her left. Holding them out to him, she looked at him with a focus gaze, the play in her voice from her previous statement gone. "Nothing worth achieving is easy. That belief has created false Sith who believe simply using the Dark-Side makes them powerful. Even those of of great potential must work to truly achieve greatness."
Though no words had been spoken of her involvement or willingness to learn, she had fully intended to be involved to some capacity. To truly grow, to truly be capable of utilizing her tools, she needed to be involved in their creation to understand them at their best. She wouldn't accept hand outs any longer. Even when needing help, she wouldn't simply stand by and watch.

Ifrit had no doubt that many a weak willed being had been swayed by Luxeria's beauty. Even those without the Force could use such a mundane tool to achieve positions of great power. No doubt Luxeria had done much the same, but to a far greater affect, with the use of the Force. He wondered just how many within the Blackguard had fallen prey to her charms.
As Luxeria handed the bangles to him, Ifrit closed his hand around them. Holding them securely as he continued to study them. Sensing the connection between the crystals and Luxeria. There was still some work to do, but the most time consuming part had already been completed. His attention was drawn back to Luxeria as she caught him off guard with her comment. Had he not heard her say it, he would have been hard pressed to believe she had spoken such words. Perhaps there might be some hope for her yet Hmmm... Perhaps I have misjudged you...
