He had expected her to rattle off a list of things she might like it to be able to achieve: enhanced optics to see in various conditions, a re breather for toxic environments, maybe even some sensor systems. Instead, she declined it all. Perhaps he had pegged her for a different kind of person. Not that he was going to complain about making a minimalist design. It would certainly save some time and energy in the long run Very well then... He left the design sitting in the air in front of the board, as he crossed the platform to where the forge was. His attention upon the pile of materials that sat on the ground next to it. He started rooting around, picking out several pieces to examine. He held some up, before tossing some back away. Deciding they were either too small, too large, or just not quite the right material.
Soon enough, however, he had a collection of material ready for use. Without any mechanical components, much of the design would be just that, design. He did not have to worry too much about functionality, save for the two she had expressly requested. Without wasting a moment longer, he heated up the forge and placed the first of the metal sheets in, bringing it up to temperature so that he could begin working on it...

Indeed, many thoughts had crossed her mind in the design, but in the end, she had desired it to be as it was intended: a Sith mask. Sure, it didn't mean Sith of the past or any of the current time didn't add additions to make it more capable, but for her purposes, there was no other reason for the extra modifications. Many of the things that she could have for aid, she had found Force techniques to further disinclined these options.
She moved with Ifrit, staying a few feet behind and off to the side so to watch him work and still say out of the way. If he requested something from her and wanted her to do a certain step, then she would be there, close and ready to do as needed.

As the metal started to glow yellow, Ifrit pulled it from the fire and started working it on the Anvil. Each blow of the hammer moving the metal from one shape to another. As the glow bled away, he returned the metal to the Forge once more, bring it back up to heat to repeat the process. As the first piece approached the right shape, he placed the second sheet in to heat up. He set the first piece aside, and without pausing, moved to the next piece.
Like a baker moved dough, Ifrit moved metal. It was something of a calming experience for him as he focused upon the task at hand. Minutes quickly dissolved into hours as each piece was fed into the forge and worked into a shape that was acceptable.
He placed the final shaped piece with the others, before letting the hammer drop onto the anvil. Taking a deep breath as the day drew to a close. He motioned for Luxeria to examine the rough shapes as he moved over to pick up a cup of water. There was still detail work to be done, magic to be woven, and everything to be joined together. But they were all tasks better completed after a night of rest What do you think so far? Looking good size wise for you?

As the hours ticked by, Luxeria let her gaze stay focused on the process. Not once did Ifrit speak, but by what she could tell, he had entered a zone of peace and enjoyment. This was more than simple work to him. It might have been an item for someone else, but it seemed as if this was something more, almost an art form. She couldn't help but get caught up in watching.
First the initial piece, then a second. He pounded away, moving back and forth between the anvil and fire. Despite just standing there watching, she was surprised at how quickly time had gone by, It was his own words that brought her back to reality. With a slight shake of her head, she moved up to examine the pieces. She looked them over from every angle before giving a nod. "They look near perfect by what I can tell." She then turned to face him. "It looked to be quite the task, yet you seem to enjoy it."

He quickly downed the clear liquid, before turning around back to face Luxeria as she examined the pieces and made her comments. He took a breath a deep breath and let the silence linger for a moment as she commended his work. He placed the cup back down and crossed his arms The act of creation, no matter the form it takes, is always enjoyable... Whether it is creating another life, or forming a tool... The Jedi foolishly believe any not within their ranks seeks only to destroy all life. While that may be true for some... It is not true for all... Zealous devotion to one side or the other can blind you. While I may use the darker aspects of the Force, it does not preclude me from joy in things other than killing and mass destruction... He hummed as he studied Luxeria, watching for her reaction to his comments. Many a Sith Lord had sought complete and utter destruction, so that they might build anew atop the ashes of the old. Others sought destruction for the sake of destruction. How Luxeria would turn out, was still hard to tell There is something you shoulder understand about me Luxeria... I am no Sith. They may have claimed the arts I use in their name, but I do not abide by their creed...

Luxeria listened as Ifrit spoke. Not once did she react to not claiming himself as a Sith and the difference of his views. Truth be told, she felt as if the Jedi had many misinterpretations about the Sith and Dark-side as a whole. But she was also aware that while the Blackguard was reformed under a Sith rule, that rule did not exclude other Dark-siders, nor did it conform to the old ways of the Sith.
Taking a moment to look him over, Luxeria spoke with a calm and cool voice. "Does it really matter if you are not a Sith? Last I checked, the Blackguard was an order for both Sith and other Dark-siders alike. True that it may be more Sith aligned, but the reality is it is open to all those who practice the dark arts. You are not the first within this order that I've met that has vastly different views from the Sith as a whole, even for what differences we carry from those long past. And unless you seek to destroy the Blackguard from the inside, I have no concern for what you believe." She then gave a smirk, followed by a faint scoff. "But if there's one thing I've learned about the Jedi it is that they don't understand much about the Sith or the Dark-side. Yes, it is easier to give in to one's darker nature, but that doesn't mean its a path to quick power. Those that fall to it quickly are victims and prey of the Darkness itself and lack the discipline to be its master. They are those who crave power, who are driven by their need for it. They become slaves to their power, to the darkness. Some Sith believe it must be this way, but I see differently. And not all Sith crave destruction and chaos. I certainly don't. I seek to become a goddess in the eyes of others, to reach a point where they come to me of their own free will. Some Sith seek the power to be viewed as gods while others seek to create order. However, the Jedi are too blind to ever realize that, just as Sith zealots are too blind to see alternate paths to reach their goals."

Ifrit stood silent a moment as Luxeria spoke. Her response to him not being a full devoted Sith was not entirely unexpected. Viox and Malvus seemed to have instilled a level of propagandic belief into those that joined the Blackguard Reborn. Boasting it as a true home for all those considered to be darksiders, regardless of whether they were true Sith or just of a darker mindset. A truth that Ifrit knew would last for only as long as it benefited Viox.
It was the rest of her response that caught him a little by surprise. Largely due to the fact that he had mostly written her off as another of Malvus' pet projects that held little mind of their own. But his preconceptions about her were starting to be chipped away. The faintest of smiles forming as he focused his gaze upon her. Re-examining her as she spoke of her ultimate goal to become a goddess and the irony of the zealotry both the Jedi and Sith exhibited. He took a few steps closer to her. Perhaps there was indeed hope for her yet It would appear, that I have underestimated your potential... For that, you have my apologies. It is not often I am wrong about those that seek my knowledge... But in this case, I am willing to admit my mistake... And fear not, goddess in the making, I have no intention to destroy the Blackguard. Not so long as it continues to serve its purpose... He examined her a few moments longer. His gaze inspecting every inch of the woman that he had not paid much heed to in the past While I do not care for divine beings, or those that believe they exist in the form of the Force... I will not stop you. Your mask will be completed, as requested... But know this, should your ascension ever interfere with my plans, or you side with those that seek to misuse my knowledge, know that I will not hesitate to strike you down... I take responsibility for that which I create, or helped create. Understood?

Luxeria looked to him, her smirk shifting to a soft smile. "There is no need for apologies. Those affected are only those who underestimate me and attempt to make a move because of it. If anything, it serves as a compliment, wouldn't you say? It means that I am capable of deceiving even some of the most powerful. A valuable skill to have."
She then laughed as he spoke of her ascension. Despite speaking of becoming a goddess, the idea of ascending was amusing. Unlike some, her ascension wouldn't be real like others sought to achieve. As powerful as she could become, to become a true goddess was impossible. It was a fact she needed to always remember. Her desire to be a goddess would be nothing but an illusion in the eyes of those around her. Thinking otherwise was a sign of arrogance and would bring her downfall. "You need not worry about such things. At most, I'd seek only to become that dark light that a city follows, maybe a planet. But even then, I'd want to create something grand from it, a world people desired to be a part of. So I doubt my 'ascension' you cause you any issues. As for these items, they are used to aid the Blackguard and those aligned with them."

Certainly a valuable skill to have. It also is a sign of my bias toward those that come from Viox and Malvus as well... As strong as he was, Ifrit knew he was not the most powerful being around. If anything, his power was derived from the knowledge he securely held on to and shared scarcely with others. If ever someone were to learn all of his secrets, especially within the Blackguard Reborn, he would become unnecessary. Something he intended to prevent at all costs.
He gave a nod as she spoke of her plans. Modest goals, even for someone as powerful as Luxeria. Cities, Planets. Mere trifles that even a Jedi could command the control of should they put their minds to it. But perhaps she was right to set her goals as she had. To keep herself in check so that she did not descend into the madness that other Sith were so often consumed by Modest goals, for one as powerful as yourself... A city or planet... You are truly full of surprises my dear... Perhaps it may be beneficial to see you achieve such goals...

She gave a shrug at the mention of modest goals. She had never had such high ambitions, even when she started out in discovering her ability to bring others under her sway. It always seemed like too much a hassle to have so much. Upon joining the Sith, she learned of greater goals, and while she worked to help achieve that for those she followed, never had any desire to change her own. "Powerful? Not as much as you may think. Still a long road ahead to be considered powerful like those that run the Blackguard. But why should I care about running the galaxy? Even with a group like the Blackguard, its too much work trying to keep it all under control and ordered. Its why the Sith have failed over and over. Some wouldn't consider me a Sith because I lack that goal, but oh well. I don't run on such an ego trip to think I can rule that much and not lose control of it when all is said and done."

She truly was delightful. Ifrit might not have spared her a second glance under any other circumstances, especially when she had first arrived. But listening to her speak and feeling her conviction within the Force. He truly had been rather jaded by his own Master to the ways an apprentice should act and think. He smirked then, trailing his index claw carefully down the side of her face. Hooking it beneath her chin to meet her gaze with his own eyes as they glowed a bright green through the blind fold that he wore Oh, I do not think so just yet, but the future holds a great deal of potential... But you are right, the galaxy is too grand a place for any one person or group to rule properly. Palpatine made the mistake of believing he could do so, and yet he fell at the hands of his own apprentice... Just as my former Master shall soon learn... And so too shall Viox, in time. Life requires balance... Both Chaos and Order must exist in equal parts for them to both survive. Achieve too much of one side, and the other shall grow greater in power. The Force will balance itself, always. We can embrace that fact, or rage against it... The Sith and Jedi have done the latter for millennia, and yet here we stand... No, I would not say you are a Sith... You can see the grander scheme of things. And that, my dear, is why you will one day become more powerful than those that run the Blackguard...

There was no smile as Ifrit traced his finger along her face, nor did she pull away. When he lifted her chin to meet his gaze, she stared back, her forest green eyes meeting his glowing green. However, she could only smirk as he made his claim about where he felt her power would one day to. "Time will tell if I’ll one day reach that point. But for all the possibilities the future has in store, what matters is the path I take today for it is what defines what awaits me."

He kept his finger in place when she did not move to pull away. Perhaps she was being polite by remaining still. But if he had learned anything about her within this conversation alone, it was that there was more to her than simply met the eye. Though what did meet his gaze, was rather impressive Quite true... And tell me, what is it, that you would do today? Given complete choice and freedom as an equal, what will you do now? Rest awaits, but where you choose to do so, and how you choose to enjoy it, is entirely up to you...

Luxeria listened to Ifrit's words, letting them mull around in her head. They implied so many things, which made her smirk inwardly. Could she use such an occassion to manipulate him and make him her servant? Highly unlikely. Even if she was capable of doing so, it would be short-lived or so little that it did her little good. Not only that, she had no desire to bring him under her sway. No, she would benefit far more through mutual friendship or alliance that was free of any manipulation.
But what about for nothing more than sheer enjoyment? While a flicker of interest at the thought emerged, she still pushed it aside. Commited to anything, she currently wasn't by what she guessed, but there were things that needed to be settled between Vasari and herself. Were they more or was that time on Coruscant just a mere moment of pleasure?
Then again, despite the offer, it could have been a test that wouldn't matter her choice. Still, clear enough in her choice she spoke. "An interesting thought and even more interesting offer." Her smirk grew a little as her eyes shifted from their normal green to a burning orange. "However, I think I shall go to meditate for awhile before I retire."

He sensed her moment of consideration before she finally responded. A brief feeling of disappointment struck him. But as soon as it had come, it was just as quickly gone. She was a passing fancy for him and he had merely indulged his more baser instincts for as long as she had not rebuked him. But that moment had come. He kept his finger held in place a moment longer as he weighed up her response Meditation... Very well. Just do not meditate yourself for too long. Tomorrow we shall press on with the creation of your mask... He removed his finger from beneath her chin then and pointed to the bridge that lead to the far wall of the volcano If you should change your mind, or require me, my quarters are across that bridge... Venture where you please Luxeria... Just beware of the creatures that lurk within the shadows. Not all of my creations are as mild mannered as I am and will not take kindly to unwelcome guests... No matter how beautiful they are...

She gave a faint smirk, bordering on regular smile as she turned her head down the bridge he pointed to. She could feel the disappointment, no matter of faint or brief. Despite her desires in using her beauty to grasp the things she wanted, she had to remember that it could easily backfire on her as well if she wasn't careful. Before finding the Force, she would not have had the strength to hold off someone had their lust been so great that it couldn't be controlled. Now men like that didn't bother her, but she had now entered into a new league of beings. Just another reason she needed to become stronger: to keep those that desired her but couldn't be swayed at bay. She would allow none to take her without her permission, permission only one had ever gained thus far.
Looking back to him, she thought of making a small coy comment but decided to not poke the beast. Instead, she gave a slight bow of her head. "Understood. I will be ready."

Ifrit turned and headed across the bridge unphased. The heavy blast doors split apart to allow him passage through, before closing with a loud thud behind him. The space beyond was low lit, providing just enough light for those that served him to see their way through the corridors and up the stair case to his personal quarters. A large cavern that was rock walls on three sides, while the forth comprised a large screen which projected an image of Sullust's terrain. A reminder of the destructive power that he held within his hands.
Like a volcano, the power of the dark side could be harnessed and used by worthy individuals. But left unchecked, it was a wild and destructive font. Capable of destroying entire worlds and wiping out all life.
He moved across the room and laid down upon the bed then. His wings relaxing as they spread out across the large expanse. Tomorrow held much work yet to be done...

Luxeria watched as Ifrit departed down the bridge, her eyes never leaving him until the last door shut behind him. Letting out a sigh, she moved to the table where they had worked on her bangles. She shifted them around on her wrists, feeling the power now flowing through them. With this new power came new names, names that suited them well. They’d be of great use in the times to come.
Moving over to the wall where she had once meditated earlier in the day, she took a seat and closed her, letting herself slip deep into her meditations. The tasks she had to do had taken their toll and she needed to recover and center herself before she retired for the night.

As the light of a new day dawned across Sullust, Ifrit had already risen and prepared himself for the day to come. The blast doors rolled open to permit him to pass through and cross the bridge back to the platform. The Forge was running hot already, its flame having been tended to by Ikaros much earlier than he had even risen. Something which would save much time in waiting for the flames to get to the heat required for the work that needed to be done.
Without sparing much thought to trying to find Luxeria, he collected the metal pieces and started placing them within the forge. Heat began to seep into the metal then, making the normally immovable material into something that could be worked into a new shape. At that point, he pulled the metal from the fire and began hammering away. Moving the metal closer and closer toward its final shape. If Luxeria was anywhere nearby, he had no doubt she would quickly be awoken by the sound. Else wise, if she had made it back to her own ship, He trusted she would be getting up soon to come join him. He had agreed to make her mask, and informed her of when the work would begin.
If she intended to be worthy of it, it was up to her to be here. Even Ikaros was under orders to not seek Luxeria out if she had left the platform...

After her meditation, Luxeria had debated crashing where she was so that she'd be there and ready once Ifrit showed up to continue work on her mask. Despite her desires for luxury, she wasn't completely against the idea of sleeping in unpleasant places. She had come to accept it when she spent six months out seeking supplies for her first true lightsaber. Yet, she opted to return to her ship. It would allow her to shower and properly relax so to be prepared for whatever task required of her today.
As the time came for when he instructed her to be ready, she was up and already making her way back to the forge. Arriving a not even a few minutes after Ifrit begun work, she made her way up to him, silent for now but ever watchful to his work.
