The graveyard was crowded with hundreds of headstones that seemed to have no rhyme or reason to their placement. Those buried here were, for the most part, mass graves following battles that the Bruce family fought. Retainers, Knights, Squires, Bannerlords and all sorts of loyal followers were granted a place within these hallowed grounds. Rising prominently above these headstones was a quartet of small mausoleums surrounding a much larger central mausoleum structure. Time had worn away most of the finer artistry that had once clad these monuments to the dead, leaving behind only carved pillars and the brickwork lines.
The heavy stone doors of the smaller structures all looked to be sealed shut, but those leading into the central structure sat open enough for a person to slip through and seek shelter within. A single torch burned just inside of the doors, casting a blade of light out into the darkness, inviting the young girl in

The lightning and the wind threw her off. It broke her focus, the map she made in her head broke to pieces with the noise and flashes. Still, she felt she knew where to go. It wasn't really that far, only 3 or 4 miles. She followed the pull, up and over hills, fighting the wind and rain that was stinging her face. The thick robe was soaked quickly, even though it was made of a material that normally repelled water. The storm was that intense. It got stronger as she was pulled closer to the hilltop. She was seeing tombs when the lightning flashed. She had seen horrific things, but this still built fear inside her. This was a strange place, full of things that scared most everyone. Still, she felt she had to go one. Fear upon fear piled on her. She felt lost, the most terrifying thing for her in her life. She had no idea how to get back to the small castle she had recently left, the wind and lack of vision made that impossible. She was alone, normally she was used to this, but in this case, she didn't have her mind to depend on. She had nothing at this moment. Despite this, she pressed on as it was all she could do. The mausoleums got bigger, multiple times she tripped on ancient and broken stone works, falling into the mud. Still, she pressed on.
As she did she yelled into the abys to no one and the entire universe. Anger and frustration filled her voice. Even in this new place, she was as lost as ever. Part of raising yourself meant, no matter the facade you put on or how mature you seem you are always a terrified child. WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS! WHY AM I DOING THIS? I am not worth the trouble! Just strike me down and let me be done with it! No more memories. Any more people that forget me that I can never forget... No more hope for something different... She sobbed and tears fell as she continued to steadily move forward. Her tears were erased by the rain and wind. Something the girl realized quickly and it brought her lower. The universe mocked her despair. Still, she moved forward.

Death permeated every stone, monument, and the very ground upon the top of that hill. Beings that were both Force Sensitive and who were not had been buried here, creating a focal point of Force energy. Neither wholly malignant nor benevolent. The emotions of those whom had fought and died and those who buried the dead created a living Force which reacted the most to emotions of sadness. Thus, Kent's fear mixed with the Force and caused a reaction.
It started at first as faint voices, whispering to her on the wind Come play with us... We can be friends... Several childish giggles echoed loud enough above the wind to be heard. A young girls voice was heard next Come be our friend... we won't ever leave you... A young boy's voice could be heard then We can be friends forever... More laughter could be heard just barely above the storm. The rain and wind pickeed up more to push Kent onward toward the tombs, creating an impassable storm wrapping around the foot of the hill

Kent was not taking in information like she normally did, her anger and fear clouded everything. Her skin grew staticky, the robes she was wearing stiffened from the charge. The Force was whiling around her and through her. She felt she could have controlled it if she wished. But she had no desire to contain it or control it, she wanted it all released. Then she could hear something in the wind. Voices, children's voices were not heard through the wind, but in it. That realization was all that kept her from her desiring destruction... If she thought they were in her head, she would have feared losing her mind. The one thing she was more afraid of than anything, it was her one consent. Her anger and fear continue to build as she cries out to the voices.
I DON'T HAVE FRIENDS! ONLY THOSE WHO HAVEN'T LEFT ME YET! SHOW YOURSELVES!

The laughter faded off into the storm as the Force energy concentrated up into the clouds, drawing upon the latent energy nearby. The clouds crackled with the charged energy, before releasing it down towards the ground in several Lightning strikes. The first of the strikes hit the outer walls of the graveyard, chipping away at the stone and duracrete barrier. The next wave struck at several tombstones and the tops of two of the mausoleums, causing additional sprays of rock and duracrete. More strikes lit up the hill, preventing a retreat

AHHHH She screamed and cried as she pushed forward. Not really out of fear but mostly despair. Deep down she had given up. She felt worthless and wanted to just give up everything, but still, she moved forward. Every betrayal, every harm, every action that made her feel worthless played over in her mind in perfect detail. Good things had happened to her, and those memories were just as crisp, but the despair overwhelmed them and blotted them out. She could hear ghosts of her past smoking her. They were not there literally, but her bain replayed the perfect memories. Her frustration continued to build and the storm grew stronger. In a moment everything built up and she cried out louder than she ever had before. Lightning engulfed the teenager, brighter than a white dwarf star. Only the blue-white bolt did not originate in the sky but at the girl. She made the lightning. After that the storm was silenced and everything was dark. only her panting could be heard in the lifeless space.

The storm came to a sudden standstill and darkness engulfed the edges of the mountain top. Most other sources of light had been extinguished by he teenagers outburst. Save for that light which spilled out of the tomb door that was open ajar. With everything else silenced, the echoed sound of a wooden staff against cold stone could easily be heard as a cloaked figure appeared in the doorway. The staff was tall and topped with a raven sculpture, while his cloak and several layers of clothing covered his body. A handful of what appeared to be large bird fathers extended out from his shoulders.
As he raised his face to look toward Kent, the light illuminated the face of a kindly old man with a thick white beard. He smiled and motioned for Kent to come closer. As far as she would be able to tell, he appeared to be a real person Come little one! It's dangerous out there... As Kent got closer, she would notice marks of the Bruce Family upon his clothing, which she would have seen upon the Tombs and down in Dunbar itself

She was a smart girl, and a smart girl would not join a feathered stranger. But she was a smart girl who had given up. She didn't care. She hoped he was an angel of death and that this was her end. Silently she followed. She was no longer angry, she was just done. She no longer cared. The clothes were familiar, she had seen markings when she was inside the Bruce house. Worst case, things would continue on and she would continue her depression. Best case, she would die... she followed.

The man kept a keen eye outside as Kent finally started moving over toward him and into the safety and protection of the tomb. The cloud of darkness remained settled outside. He swept his cloak around as he used his staff to assist in walking deeper into the Tomb. He guided Kent over toward a lit and crackling fire sitting in a brazier in the back of the tomb Stick close to the fire and get dry, it would do no good for you to catch a cold... The fire was very real, logs were delivered and lit daily as part of the memorial rituals You seem lost child... what brings you here?
