Selfish? Did I miss something? You didn't seem selfish when you protected me.. or when you spent hours patching everyone up.. I find that hard to believe.
*She smiled as he said he would stay, she didn't really know him like she felt she had with Raven, but he seemed friendly enough to her, besides he patched her up, she had to be grateful. Who knows, with this lot, she could very well likely need it again. She smiles at him again.*
Glad to hear you are going to stay a while..
*Sin almost staggered as he insulted her in Mando'a. She stares at him, how could he know what she was saying. There was no way he was Mandalorian. Not a chance. She watches him, shaking her head as he rants and raves along. No wonder this being was considered 'fresher slime. She could hardly stand him.*
And why do I need to hear about all your supposed claims of what you have seen? I'm just here because someone needs to keep an eye on you..

Well there it was. Adieumus had pretty much destroyed all doubt she had in the situation, any chance of escaping it through reason. And he was so dead serious, she could see it in his eyes- hear it in his breath- feel it in his very palpable emotions. It made her shutter slightly and she closed her eyes. And I'd be willing... to risk it. She said, at length. I love who you are, Adieumus, and I could never ask you to change for me. Obviously i've already risked a lot just traveling with you. I figure my time as a Jedi counselor is over. But I guess that was a long time coming. She smiled at him, a radiant smile- devoid of regret even after what she had just said. It's time I stop holding people at arm's length. It's time to stop being afraid. The shadows began to reach them from the other shore- one slowly stretching along the beach toward them, outlined in deep scarlet from the setting son. Alora opened her mouth to speak- but suddenly flinched, pressing her empty left hand to the side of her head. We need to go back. She said in a strained voice, clinching her eyes but for a second before starting for the boats. Something's happening. She turned quickly and looked at him, eyes full of quick concern. We will remember what has happened, but we must take care of the present before we can look toward the future. Urgency ran thick in her voice, as the force pulsated pain and struggle through her mind- it's origin, the now dark opposite lake shore.

Jashin was silent for a while, detaching a plate, and shoving it to the side. Sliding underneath a landing strut, inspecting the damage, he clucked disapprovingly at what he saw. Shot power interchange, disintegrated crystal capacitors, half the fusion turbine of the engine was gone. But, in its entirety, the damage wasn't horrible. A few thousand credits would patch it right up. In theory. Regarding the girl and her words, Jashin finally replied, shutting the fusion cutter off and sliding out from under the ship as he did so. "Need? Oh, you probably don't need to hear it at all. It's more a reminder - to myself. Once, I was much like you. But too much time in the galaxy changed me. For better, for worse - the realities of the galaxy change any sentient spent to long in it. At a certain point, you've seen too much. And by that time...well, there's no going back." Jashin chuckled, shaking his head. Walking around to the cargo hold, he fetched several parts, before coming back around to the engine and hoisting himself under once more.
Jashin hooted in response at that. "Ho! I certainly hope so. The quicker I'm away from you lot, the faster I'm out of danger. Who knows what you force types will get into. Superweapons. Sith Lords. By the eight Gods - even prophecies. Yeah that's just what I need. To be cast in some prophecy, as the trickster, or, or, or as the harbinger. Harbinger of what, you ask? Who knows. And let's not find out. Ever." With finality, Jashin slammed a power motivator and oscillator into place in the engine housing, before slamming the engine casing closed.

' it’s quiet around here… too quiet' how rightly correct i was, it had seemed like days since the accident (although in reality it was an hour or so at most) and spanning the entire path of the island neither the soldier, my companion nor myself saw any trace of the offended ship or her crew. the sun was starting beginning to descend from noon’s height I noticed a lone structure on the northern most point of the Island. and with the logic of ‘if we are going to make this right, we might as well set up’ i convinced Jim to allow Puck and I to take up the shelter as ‘residence’<< Coomfy>> was the first thought as Puck dashed into the room and curled up on the sofa before promptly taking a snooze. meanwhile Jim and I took off our packs before we went around the room examining details.
Jim was observant… i was curious.
“ Do you think these are lens screens on the glass? to project the view of an endless sea? I am pretty sure i could see the other shore from outside…” but Jim paid me no mind as he finally took off his helm in a move that i thought put him in a more relaxed form.“ Alright… so this glass cabana is not all there is to this suite. hidden panel near the entrance reveals a ladder to bed/bath/kitchenette… also this unit is connected to the others by underground passageways. clever thinking.” “ So… where are the others?” “ Dunno, i will go looking for them… you stay back here. i will check in prior to returning to the ship before nightfall.” “ You aren’t going to stay here?” “ This place… is a little too comfortable for me. but…” he reached down and pulled out a small box, tossing it my direction. inside was a commlink aged so long that any applied color was drained from it. “ …if you need me use this. old covert device the Grandmaster designed. primary function was covert transmissions. this model… well right now it only has Ping… so you will have to do some work with it.” “ Are you giving me busy work?” “ No. though i do expect to see your upgrades for it complete before we leave.” I wanted to impress him a bit so I took a conjuring stance, right hand with two fingers raised, left fist against the remaining fingers and palm and bowed over it. a smirk appeared on his face and as he remounted his helm and left he flashed me a “v” with his right hand in response. alone by my thoughts I meditated in the light of the sun as to how to fix this com piece=undeterminable hours later=
“ So if i use an inverse Hy-ten formula as the basis for the operating system…” * Buzzer* “ Ok, i am really getting tired of that buzzer” <<Cat’ me Daddy!!!>> The sound startled me as i watched Puck jump through the opened hatch down to the chamber below, interrupting my thoughts. It took me only one hour and 30 mins to realize that my mental state was easily disrupted and i caught on that with the view i was liable to waste the day staring out the window, so for productivity sake i had retreated down the hatch to the bedroom and as sitting on the bed with my Terminal trying to handwrite out the code to restore the original software before i looked at a complete system rebuild. with my nerves frayed from hearing a buzzer of an incorrect program too many times before i was not in quick enough to ‘catch’ puck…
But the doll was ever playful as it hopped up onto the bed and under my hand, knocking the terminal down in the process.<< Why didn’t you cat’ me?>> “ I didn’t know you had woken up… plus you kinda announced yourself while you were in midair.” i scratched behind his right ear.<< I heard a noise, and came to check it out.>> it jumped off the bed and padded over to the door. << It smells like cousin yummy is near>> “ I have a cousin?” this was puck we were talking about. there were still many stories of the other Monte that i was left in the dark about… so for me to have relatives that i wasn’t aware of didn’t surprise me too much. i threw on clean clothes from the hamper and opened the door to watch the doll race down till it bumped headlong into a stuffed Wampa. I could only ass|u|me that it was sniffing the “aura” of the doll… but with Puck i could never be sure<< Defini’ely Yummy, Defini’ely Definitely… whi’ room she in?>> ' So ‘cousin yummy’ was a she?' “ uh… can’t you sniff that out?” i awkwardly teased as i reached down to collect the toy.<< Can, wan’ you to.>> This was the other part of Puck. while i had taken to using the holocron and Puck’s crystal to train myself and become… like the Other Monte… but Puck seemed to take it upon himself to train me in new powers, like this sense/psychometry one that he was currently on. I had previously used the skill to color the aura of soldiers to avoid paths they had taken.
focusing my mind on the aura the doll had (from being a personal favorite of it’s owner i saw a path that lead from my hand to the spot it had lay… then up a wall to an impact point then cross the hall to a door… which Puck was already pawing at.
“ I thought you wanted me to do this” << i di’ you di’… i jus’ do too>> I shook my head and briefly extended my aura until it met the occupant in side.. to confirm that yes, the person inside was the one that threw the doll.. then i wrapped on the door to alert the occupant -Knock, knock, kno-knock, knock-

All he could do was smile. For once, it would appear something was going to go totally right. He stood up, scooping her up in his arms and off the ground in a gentle hug. He held her there for a long moment, closing his eyes, and resting his forehead against hers. It was a beautiful moment in time...and he was savoring every bit of it.
"I am extremely grateful to have you with me, Raven. Fate has smiled on me to put you into my life in any capacity....I'm thankful that the Force has seen fit to do so."
As he put her down, however, he felt something amiss....something was terribly wrong. Darkness was emanating from the other shore...and in a rolling, powerful wave.
"Anna...." His voice trailed off as Raven began to speak to him. Dammit, Kaja!!!! Not again!!! Raven started toward the boats, with Adi and MICRO hot on her heels. Untying the mooring lines for one of the boats, Matango helped Raven into the vessel, pushed it into the water, and hopped in, turning it toward the opposite shore, and gunned the throttle. The boat exploded into full speed nearly instantly, sending up a large wake behind them, shattering the glassy, smooth surface of the water.
"MICRO....did you happen to get scans of that armor that Kaja was wearing?" "::Partially, sir....::" "Were there any weak points that you noticed?" "::Negative, sir...It did not appear to have a single weak point that you could exploit. Its locked up pretty tight.::" "Damn. Well, I guess we improvise."
With the current in the lake as it were, the trip back would take far less time than the trip to the island....especially considering that he had the throttle wide open right now. Adi just hoped they weren't too late....

As the boat started speeding across the water, Raven's eyes were fixated on the shore, aligned with the disturbance of pain she felt ripping through the force. She heard Adieumus speak Kaja's name, and the Jedi looked behind her- the wind whipping at her long brown hair. Kaja? Like- the Kaja back on Yavin... Why would he want to hurt Anna? She did not know that Antidar and Kaja were in fact the same person- but she would soon enough. The force had a way of telling her these things. Still- why would anyone want to hurt the Seer, unless they were tied to the lab they just blew up,

Adi sighed as Raven asked about Kaja. The darksider was the perfect storm of power, and instability. One moment, he was your friend...the next? He was attacking you with everything he had. It was just how the guy was.
"The very same. Antidar is Kaja in his...erm....nicer guise. He doesn't need a reason to attack someone. It's just...who he is, and what he does. If he feels someone has outlived their usefulness, he eliminates them." Adi could start to make out the shoreline more clearly. The sun had finally dipped the whole way down, leaving the deep orange hue in the sky. The entire world was being bathed in shadows and darkness...
Rather appropriate, considering what they may be walking into on the other shore.
"I have no idea what we will be walking into. Prepare yourself for the worst, Raven. If he is after Anna, he wont stop until he accomplishes whatever it is he is trying to accomplish."
MICRO had moved to the bow of the boat, and was scanning ahead. The cat droid reported that Loki was there, and seemed prepared to engage Kaja. That was a plus...at least there was someone there to protect her. Adi was cursing himself for leaving like he had. Then again, he didn't really expect anyone to attack anyone else on the crew, least of all attack Anna. They had all just risked their lives to rescue the girl, and be damned, Adieumus was not going to let someone else take her out so soon after she had been released from her capture. It would be rather unfair for fate to deal her a blow such as that...and Matango would do his damndest to ensure she didn't come to an untimely end.
They just had to get there in time.....

What to do, what to do... Dominic couldn't really think of anything other than contact HQ. And he couldn't do that until he went to the nearest town. Hopefully Theed. He had no clue which direction it was in, and he couldn't just go on his own. If he was expected to be a part of this group, he couldn't just leave for hours by himself. That would be suspicious. He had to wait until the group decided to make a run to a nearby town.
These thoughts ran through his head as he walked into the villa. He expected that this would be where they were going to stay for the next... he didn't know. Did they have an agenda? A plan? Was there a reason they saved Anna apart from the 'goodness in their hearts'? He found a room that seemed unoccupied, and went inside, shutting the door. He took out his weapon, the slugthrower from the lab. He recognized the model, and started taking it apart, laying the pieces on the bed. He was going through the motions of cleaning his only weapon at the moment, then realized that.. He didn't have any supplies. No oil or brushes to wipe out grim. He could use the bed sheets to wipe everything down, but that would only do so much. If they used this place as some sort of get-away, then there had to be something..
He put his weapon back together, tucking it into the back of his pants and flipping his shirt over it before he exited the room, and began to explore.

A nondescript off white protocol droid approached Dominic, and offered a mechanical wave and flicker of its photoreceptors. Greetings, I am N4-B0B, I wouldn't recommend letting me use an orbital cannon. How may I be of assistance? the nondescript off white protocol droid flickered its photoreceptors once again, awaiting a reply.
Farris shook his head as the Echani asked about what he meant when he spoke of being selfish and cowardly. Some times people would rather run away from their problems- than face them, He looked down at her with a thin smile. No matter who gets hurt in the process. But- with this bloke around, Farris said, jerking his head toward the newcomer- attempting to fix his ship. Someone's got to keep an eye on him. As Jashin laughed at his comment and started speaking about all the trouble force users got into, the Polydroxol laughed also and shook his head. Believe me- I know the crazy ride force users can add to your life. He was a bit curious about the nature of this man. Sure, he felt really untrustworthy- but the man had flown all the way here to deliver a message, from a jedi, to a jedi. So he couldn't be all that bad. So tell me, Mr. Fox- What are your plans after you deliver your message? I only ask our of curiosity.

"I like you Polydroxl. You're blunt and to the point." Jashin connected a pair of power regulators together, then cussed as a power surge made them spark - resulting in a slightly burnt hand. Eyeing the damage, he snorted as his skin began healing itself - inverting the regulators as he should have done the first time. "Eh, I'll return back to Gene no doubt. I owe him a life debt. A debt that is almost repaid. Course if my blasted father has anything to do with it, he'll find a way to get me stuck somewhere, or worse." Jashin closed the power regulation panel, and turned to the crystal oscillator. While not destroyed or damaged, it had been knocked out of alignment. Taking out a few tools, he took measurements, before rotating the crystal slightly, listening to the change in pitch of the power feed with each turn. Every so often, he would take new measurements, slowly realigning the device bit by bit. "Why else do you think a criminal type like me would be around this place? Or around someone like her." Said Jashin, jerking his head towards Sinina. "My pop is a Jedi like Gene. He doesn't exactly approve of his non-forcie son roaming around and trying to get into pirating. Wanna know why I don't have a bigger ship? That'd be my dad. I had thirty crates of Sansanna Spice. Now I have three. Three crates of Spice, a crate of barely sellable weapons, a crate of hot-to-the-market shimmersilk, and one ship with a blasted, no good, damned three legged -" The shift from normal conversation into a string of cursing was seamless, and, after a few minutes, Jashin seemed to wind down. "-product of a Hutt's bowel movement and a blender, son of a kark!" The words were emphasized by a kick to the ship, which groaned in response, swaying dangerously on landing gear that was, perhaps, not exactly stable. Holding his breath, Jashin watched as the ship slowly swayed to a stop before letting the breath out, patting the armored side of the little ship. "Aye. It's not the Rogues fault. She's done well, and I can't complain. Got no one to blame but myself. Im a big enough man to say that, and own it."

It had not taken the lightning long to land it's mark. The sight was brilliant, spectacular even, as it lit up her body like the thruster of a Corellian cruiser. Just as quickly had his attack succeeded he began to hear screams escaping the girl's mouth through the violent convulsions of her form. An artful display that he could have spent time taking in were it not for the much larger presence standing just off to the side of her. A presence that he would have been foolish to ignore, but even more foolish to leave alone. A notion that became all too apparent as the lightning began to crack off and snap into the Zabrak's body. The white hot energy tore at the monstrous alien but it was not enough to stop him from approaching. Yet, for even the briefest of moments, he was rewarded with the sight of the mighty Loki dropping to a knee. A being he had feared for years, had wished would have remained as dead as the husk he had likely revived from, in spite of what he had done to Kanadeus. He was no fool as to the knowledge of Lord Loki, of the being who had conquered Coruscant and slaughtered many. But watching him suffer and crumble beneath the power that surged from his hand brought a wicked and almost sickening smirk to Kaja's face. A look he had not worn in years and one that he relished in more greatly when the Zabrak screamed out amidst his attempts to hurl lightning.
It was the explosion of energy, however, that staggered him first. Taking a step back and lifting the hand bearing his saber up to block what little lighting he knew would spray down towards him. Then, and only then, did the scream meet it's mark and succeed in it's explanation of the emotions that were rooted deep within the monster's core. The smirk faltered, his grip tightening on the saber in his hand, and in a single motion and thought he altered his course of action. No longer did he care for the life or death of the pitiful child who now appeared far too weak to even fight the lightning he had thrown at her, but rather he felt something much more intriguing cross his mind as he watched the lightning continue to tear into Loki's flesh, to burn the very robes that clung desperately to his form. ”You always were the persistent one, Loki. I will grant you that.” He breathed as he took one more step back and relented the lightning away from Anna's form. But it was only just long enough for him to gather himself and begin to take the necessary steps he would need to move towards the ship he had so conveniently tailed with the Son. If the Zabrak wanted to die for her, wanted to save her so desperately, than perhaps it was his time instead. A thought that, though it was obviously a mistake, felt far too tempting to depart from his mind.
And thus, with a flick of his wrist he launched another surge of hate filled lightning, rage fueled power, towards not the seer but her pathetic guardian. ”If you wish to die so badly, than I will grant you your wish.” His voice came with a thick venom in his tone. "You are a pathetic shell of your former self. A husk that forgot how to perform a proper metamorphosis.” He chided as he took a few more steps, not waiting to see if the lightning made it's mark before he relented it and began to pace his way warily back and towards the Scimitar; all the while prepping the hidden weapons that began to appear from their crafted compartments. ”One day you will understand, Loki,” he breathed and turned his back to the giant and his frail companion. "That the weak die because they protect those who do not deserve their protection. One day,” He continued but this time speaking with a bit more of a somber and disappointed tone to his voice as the docking ramp of the Scimitar lowered and two female androids, Ariela and another, made their way up the docking ramp before him and the solar ionization cannons began their search for viable targets.
"You, too, will die, Darth Verator.”

The roar of another ship flying towards the Villa had Jashin looking to the skies - and the sight of a Scimitar, a ship he had seen in his travels with Gene and his father, had him scrambling. "Take cover you fools! 'Ya got slugs for brains?!" For, in all his time among the Jedi, working with them - well, lets be honest, tolerating them - he had never seen one fly such an iconic vehicle. No...no that was the ship of someone evil. No doubt about it. Pausing in the cargo hold, Jashin started grabbing crates, chucking them with all his strength out of the hold. The ship hovered low, a ramp descended, someone large and terrifying heading towards it, hidden cannons suddenly revealing themselves. "Son of a kark! Karking son of a -" Cursing, copious amounts of truly aweful curses - involving orifices, blasters, obscene mating rituals, and blood orgies. Climbing the ladder to the second deck, Jashin flung himself into the pilots seat, flipping on power systems. First thing he did was open all hatches - including the one to his immediate left, typically only used in maintenance. Rerouting power, vectoring a course, he flung himself out of said hatch as his ship, his beloved ship rose from the ground; and with all the speed it could muster, flew straight towards the hovering ship in question. The ship, preoccupied as it was with the individuals on the ground, would hopefully too late notice the ship flying wildly towards them.
Jashin, meanwhile, falling to the ground heavily, landed in a roll, coming to his feet smoothly in a single motion. Quickly, he started gathering crates, dragging them towards the water's edge. "Nope. That's all you get from me. See? SEE? JEDI and their KARK. I'm OUT. The Golden Fox is out." Linking the crates together - as said crates were known to do, in order to make larger storage blocks that could be more easily moved by cargo movers - he shoved the crates, now a pallet, into the nearby water's edge. Boarding said pallet, a stick, a small panel from his ship, and a piece of his pants served to fashion a crude oar. "Later you kark'o'sabes." And, shoving off, began rowing out into the lake proper. Not looking back, and not offering to share his impromptu ride or exit with the others; a known doctor, and a young woman. Truly, the man's honor abounded.

He had time little to think as the lightning hitting Anna subsided, he raised his blade and prepared his own lightning strike, however then Kaja's blast, knocked him back a pace, hitting and contorting across his splayed hand and saber searing holes in his robes and flesh, the skin turning pink then blackening as it burned. Loki howled louder his own bolt of lightning blasting at Kaja's feet. Then as soon is it begun it ended..Loki stood there then, saber lank at his side, wounds smoking robes singed. He snarled, the Kaja began to speak..and called him Verator as a parting shot..Loki growled and laughed, it was a mirthless laugh, almost insane, his lightning seared sides, screamed in pain, the laugh went on. But as quickly as the laugh had begun a new sound assaulted their ears, a new ship engine and the sound of laser fire, Loki saw it just as a stream of canon fire was about toe rake across Anna's limp form. Loki had a split second to decide..Attack Kaja, and die for nothing, or save Anna and fight Kaja another time. There really was no choice, with a twist his saber disengaged, and he flung him self at Anna, using the force to speed his movements, diving over her and picking her up just as the blaster bolts smashed the ground, one slamming into his right calf, he screamed in pain but landed so he covered Anna's form with his body, propped on his knees and forearms, much like a living cave to the small seer.
Then another ship smashed into the other sending it spiraling into the lake soon followed by the other in a great explosion that rocked the villa. Loki saw Kaja was nearing the ramp of his ship as he got to his feet shakily, his right leg a little off the ground to risk it baring too much weight. As Kaja left he shouted words. "Next time, Kaja, It will be to the death." Loki said somberly, but with barely masked rage. "And I will show you how I earned that name." He bellowed after the man. As smoke and steam and flames spilled across the surface of the lake behind him, and the dying sun on the other side. "I vow it!" Loki said lastly.

It was so close not- the abyss of nothingness. The warm embrace of timeless emptiness. No past. No present. No future. A place where all time existed and yet it did not. Such a silence Anna had dreamed about sense her first terrifying vision- up until this faithful day, when she would finally sleep without dreams, and without end. The pain had turned into a dull thrum in the back of her head- like she had been lit on fire yet did not burn. ~Thank you...~ She thought, deep within her mind. Her muscles continued to confuse, but not of her own doing. Mentally, the Seer was prepared for the end- awaiting it with anticipation. ~Not. Yet.~ A scream ripped through her mind- the force jolting violently with charge. What was happening? What was going on? Her eyes sprang opened just as the angry talons of lightning deserted her and she jolted violently, crying out- almost in desperation for them to return and finish their job. What was the armored man doing? What was Loki doing? What was reality doing? For a second, she did not feel protected- she felt angry, like the most liberating opportunity had just been ripped away from her. ~I should be dead!~ She screamed back at what ever had broken her decent into darkness. And she should be. Her mind could not process what had happened. Never before, had a vision been wrong- and the last one she had, was so real. It hadn't been prematurely taken from her- it was real- and- It was wrong. She became aware of the rough stones under her- pulling at her neural clothing, and any exposed fragile skin. Her hands were raw, and the rest of her pale flesh was now a mottled pink and red. Her breath came out in unwanted gasps as she fought to hang onto the reality of her vision. Yet something kept her alive. That same thing did not keep her conscious though. ~You- lied....to me....~ With another savage shutter, the Seer's mind shut down, her body still twitching subtly.
So much pain resonated from the shoreline, Alora's vision blurred just a little. In the darkness, the boat's small lights just made out a large, wicked looking ship, and blue arks of lightning gave a shadowy outline of Kaja, and the much larger Loki. Sabers- and suddenly- what looked to be cannons rising from Kaja's ship. Turn! Raven shouted, leaning to the right hard. Even with her minuscule weight, she was certain the tilt would make the boat swing wide- before coming into range of the searching cannons. However- something was in their way....something floating, and tethered together- and. holding a man on top. Perhaps- the two force users in the boat might have missed the other vessel all together- had it not been for the tormenting scream reverberating throughout the force. It certainly shook Raven's normally on point concentration. No doubt Adieumus heard Loki's pain stricken cry also. And, had it just been the side of the boat which nicked the other man's, crude craft- there might not have been a problem- but Adi and Raven were in a hurry- and so was Jashin. So it stood to reason that at least some considerable damage could possibly have been done to both sea worthy crafts. Hopefully still leaving them somewhat sea worthy. And All the wile, Alora's mind rested upon those on the shore- Anna, and Loki. She felt so far away from them, even though, in reality- it really wasn't that far. But now, both this strange man, and the two force users were at a pretty hefty standstill. Raven turned her worried brown eyes toward the Firrerrao cautiously- with a hint of urgency behind them. She was such a small, young looking woman, there was no place for such serious emotions within her eyes- but it was there, none the less.

You..? Be like me..? I find that hard to believe...
*Sin eyes him up and down, there was nothing about him at all that seemed like it could be remotely like her, his skin didn't look soft, smooth, or even that clean. She could not hear even a hint of high nubian accent in his voice, his clothes would not be caught on even the lowest of royalty, even the dead ones. She shakes her head softly, no, he was not like her in the slightest.*
Problems..? what Problems, Farris?
*She frowned at him, he seemed pleasent enough to her, even when he was making jokes that she had herself missed and panicked for nothing over, he had tried to set her mind at ease. Not everyone would do that. She smiles warmly at him and goes to grab his hand again, not in a companion like way, but more of a friend trying to comfort a friend way. But, at that precise moment, unexpected action was brought to them. There was shouting, a ship, cursing, then a very important group of words were said "Take cover", she jumped a bit, stumbling back and away from Farris. She would have been fine, but she dropped her crutch, her knee gives out without her support, and she fell back into the water.
Sithspit. She submerged in the water, but quickly came up again, but trying to keep above water was proving to be difficult, the weight of her dress had suddenly gotten very heavy, with her damaged knee, treading water with only one leg was not going well and she was losing the battle, starting to sink little by little. She was not happy. She knew the pirate was trouble. Now look where she ended up, somehow it had to all be his fault.*

He rowed furiously, watching as his ship sailed towards...wait, what? Another ship, from nowhere, came and intercepted his own. His well intended sacrifice of his little ship, hoping to save the day, squashed to bits by this other ship. "Kark! Kark kark kark! SEE. This, is what HAPPENS. I try to be good, what happens? Eh? Kark happens! The scout ship exploded, violently, making the other ship list lazily - in a slow motion that belied the weight of the ships frame - until, finally, the ship (which Jashin recognized to be some kind of combat transport) pancaked itself into the lake, and slowly began to sink to the bottom. As it did so, though, Jashin saw the markings on her side, the colors and symbols of a pirate vessel. The pirate vessel of one Zordo the Hutt. "Ha! Hahahaha! Take that you fat sack of kark! WHOO! Come and collect your debt, huh? Just try it son!" Jashin's laughter ended abruptly, though, as a small piece of information occurred to him. Technically, HIS ship sank theirs. Technically, he just wasted maybe a dozen of the Hutt's men. Technically... "Technically I'm in a worse position than before. Son of a kark! Jedi. Force users. SEE what happens when I play good? Huh? HUH DAD?"
Interrupting his rant, a splash from behind him. The stuck up Echani girl from earlier, currently flailing in the water. He laughed openly at the sight, turning away from her, and began to row away. Indeed, the thought of saving her was entirely gone from his head in the space of a few seconds. Clink Until his oar hit a crutch floating in the water. He remembered, then, that she had been limping. He had given her so little attention, he couldn't remember...had she been using the crutch? Looking behind him, she was already practically under the water, having been sinking little by little in the interim. Turning, Jashin picked up the oar, about to dip it into the water. But...somewhere inside, in a dark and desolate corner, in a tiny cell with a padlocked door, the word "conscience" scribbled in blood and then crossed out - somewhere, deep in that pit, something stirred. Maybe it was too much time spent with Jedi. Maybe too much time with his father. Whatever the reason, he laid the oar on the raft, kicked off his boots, stripped off his coat and shirt, and dove into the water. Alien strength and a childhood growing up on a water world propelled Jashin through the water with ease, and, reaching the girl's location, he dove, hook a hand around her, and began swimming back to the raft. "Stop moving! You'll hurt yourself, or something."
Never mind that the shore was closer, and never mind that she was heavy: he was leaving on his raft. And if that meant he was *technically* kidnapping this girl with him, then he guessed it was a kidnapping.

When he was approached by the droid, he was a little surprised that it didn't sound any alarms, or take any action against him, as he was an unfamiliar face snooping around the property. And then it.. suggested that it didn't operate an orbital cannon? He chuckled in confusion just a bit, before looking around him, then asking. "Yes you can, Is there an armory on this property? And if so, could you take me to it?"

*Sinina was trying to use her arms to keep at the surface, and kick her legs, but her right knee was weak, and the water trying to kick was practically impossible. She felt the weight of her dress start to drag her downwards. She had experienced alot of things while her mother had trained her, but she had never experieneced drowning, she didn't know what to do, she didn't even go swimming as a rule. She knew how. But rarely did it in practice. Her eyes staring at hte surface, it seemed so close, but her fingertips didn't touch it. She wasn't panicking, her mothers training at least prevented that, but she wasn't familiar with the burn of lungs without oxygen, reflexes kick in, the lungs demanding air, make their attempt. As expected it fails. It made her angry. That she couldn't do this simple thing.
Suddenly there was an arm around her slender waist. Most times she would be furious that she needed help with anything, but she knew better that this was one of the times she needed it. She reflexively grabbed onto her rescuer, trying not to hinder them, but she didn't want to be dropped back to sinking to the bottom. Before she knew it, they broke surface. She finally gets a good look at who had rescued her. The Pirate. Of all people... Had to be him. She was clung to his chest nonetheless. Upon reaching the raft and hoisted on, she lay on the deck of it, coughing, hacking, and spitting up water from her lungs.
Her white hair was matted to her head, and neck. Her bangs had come out from the rest of the braid and were matted to her face. Her pale pink, and white dress clung to her body like glue. Her body trying to clear her lungs of water so she could breath properly. The young woman had definitely had better days. As the coughing and wheezing starts to lesson, she looks up at see where the Pirate finding him (I assume at least?) to be standing above her nearby, collecting his discarded shirt and coat, water dripping from his body. She tries to sit up, weakly speaking to him.*
T.thank you for saving me..

Anna jerked several times as Loki grabbed her out of the path of the cannon- the Zabrak being hit in the process. As he shouted back to the retreating form of Kaja, Anna opened her eyes just a little. Her arms still flinched slightly- but her gaze remained steady on Loki's face- his burnt face and his dim cybernetic eye. He had saved her life again- and just seconds ago, she was angry at him for it. not she only felt regret for being upset- when she really should be absolutely grateful. She didn't deserve the protection he was giving her. She didn't deserve the protection this whole crew had given her when it was her fault for getting in the situation in the first place. Loki.... She whispered, hissing in pain as her body convulsed again. You changed his mind... She breathed. The mental paradox still was having trouble loosing its grip on her- but soon, she figured, it wouldn't matter if it all made sense or not. She was still alive- for a reason- and only Fate could tell her what that reason was. You changed the future. Gritting her teeth, her shoulders jolted, and she turned her head to look at the Zabrak's injured side. A concerned frown came to her mottled face as she turned her eyes toward him again.

Mere moments after Jashin had jumped off his raft - and entirely unnoticed until he had risen to the surface and begun to swim back towards his raft - was the fact that they were not alone. Indeed, a small water craft had collided with their own. For a full second, he took in the damage to his raft; cargo crates were very sturdy affairs, air tight, with magnalocks to keep them tethered together. None the less, the collision had separated three of his five crates, flinging them far out of sight - while, somehow, leaving the remaining two crates not only intact and tethered, but with his clothes still atop and relatively dry. "Stang! Karking son of a..." Jashin bit off the rest and swam towards the remainder of his raft, hoisting the woman above him, and setting her down on what remained on the raft. There was, after all, now only room for one. Clinging to the edge of the crate-raft, Jashin began swimming and pushing the raft closer to the other craft, hoping, perhaps, they would be better quipped to deal with this.
As the woman began to sit up, Jashin shook his head. "Rest. And do not thank me; my motivations were selfish." Running an eye over the woman, very much aware of the fact her clothes were pretty much pasted to her skin in a way far more reminiscent of some sordid nighttime affair than a proper dress, Jashin just snorted and shook his head. "You'd be beautiful in gold, you know that? Try wearing more of it." Brusquely, he grabbed ahold of his coat and shirt from the edge of the raft, and tossed them to her. "Cover up. You'll catch something."
It was only then that he took in the occupants of the craft that had rammed into his assorted goods. Harsh words on his tongue, they fell away when he realized who was seated in them. Indeed, the pair of Jedi - from their appearance to their typical habits - had been burned into his brain by his father. "YOU." Barked out Jashin, leveling a finger at the pair. "Karking Jedi. Every damn time. My ship, my cargo, my livelihood - every karking time!I have a message to you from Gene Kenobi! I came here out of a favor to him. But you made this personal. With your Sith, and you forcing me to scuttle my ship, and now ramming my cargo! You want to hear my message? You'll pay me five hundred thousand credits. Or, you can get me a new ship. Dealer's choice. You all just ruminate on that while you deal with your...crisis."
A dip, a dive, and Jashin reappeared about a dozen meters away, steadily swimming towards the wreck of the sinking pirate ship that had collided with his own. Not once did he look back - but, for sure he would return. He needed his coat back, after all.
