One of the, or perhaps the only benefit of being possessed of occasional deluded or distorted thought processes is the way they can, on rare occasions, actually benefit the individual so possessed; for instance, the fact that Elikapeka has, for the moment, successfully convinced herself that there is no possible way that her finding Delaana attractive will come to anything not only rids her of any anxiety about seeing Delaana, but also enables her to take the playful teasing of her friends in stride rather than be embarrassed by it while affording them a rare glimpse of what Elika may have been like prior to succumbing to her social anxiety. Tilting her head to the side and arching an eyebrow, Elika smiles as she asks Franz, "Why would I think much about it? The question asked less for an answer than to let him know that she has no intention of thinking about it much. Nodding when Franz asserts that Lily is lucky as well as relentless, Elika sighs theatrically as she says, It's almost unfair, isn't it? Relentless enough that she nearly always gets what she wants, and lucky to boot. Shaking her head playfully, Elika winks at Lily as she says, Some women have it all."
Nodding to agree with Lily that, given how often Atlantis is at the lakehouse, it would be strange to not have him there, Elika says, "It really would beautiful, then smiles as she says, You're right, as always, how could anyone doubt you, right? Elika doesn't add anything further to the subject; Crystal and Atlantis have always seemed ideally suited to one another, but she has also learned that trying to gauge when or if a couple is ready to take a relationship to another level from the outside is difficult, if not impossible. Smiling and holding up a hand as though making a pledge when Crystal, obviously as concerned as Franz that Elika's anxiety might get the better of her as it had earlier in the morning, tells her that everything will be fine, Elika tells her confidently, I'm fine hon', don't worry about me worrying, because I am not worried, nor do I intend to be worried about or by anything since there is nothing to worry about anyway. Shrugging her shoulders as she takes a drink of water, Elika sets the bottle down as, answering question of whether or not she would object to Lily inviting Delaana to join them for lunch if they do in fact see her, she smiles and says cheerfully, Lily can invite Delaana, her massage therapist, Franz's massage therapist, or anyone else that she might spot on the way to or in the restaurant that catches her eye to join us hon'. Stretching her arms overhead, her thumbs keeping the sleeves of her robe from falling down, Elika groans delightedly before laying back down as she glances at Lily with a grin as she teases, After the massage and now the steam, I don't think anything Lily might do could perturb me at all, and then points at Lily in playful warning as she adds, Which is not a personal challenge beautiful."

Franz inclined his head with a knowing smile to let Elika know that he got it definitely and it wasn't a matter that he was going to revisit anytime soon. Returning to his lying position as he listened to Elika attentively that indeed Lily somewhat had it all playfully he could not help but to agree and laugh about that. "Yeah... Peculiar too, since usually it doesn't really work together that well, but she always does it effortlessly somehow." Franz said as he finally settled back down on the bench once more to enjoy this experience definitely. Although it made him wonder about something, Elika did sound certain, very certain with her answers despite the teasing from Lily, he just guessed that she really was resolved on the fact that nothing was going to happen at all, or something? Maybe he was overthinking that fact and he should probably stop which was what he was doing right now, just stop and relax further.
When he closed his eyes though, he could hear several songs playing around the place for whoever was getting a massage but one of those songs did stick out and he only focused onto that one exclusively while dimming the others he could hear and that made him start to hum to himself mindlessly before cutting short knowing what he might have invite to that. He cleared his throat and opened his eyes widely before overhearing some of the things that Elika was saying.
"Uh, no need to invite my therapist, thanks really!" Franz said quickly before chuckling, not only would he be too distracted to begin with, and he already was in a way but he also had to remember that he wasn't just there for some relaxation so to speak, he had been mandated to Elika as a protection detail and that was his main focus to begin with. Sure he did not look the part right now considering that he was at the spa but still, already it was going to be too much distraction if not only Delaana was going to be there but also his therapist to begin with, so he preferred not to do that and just be focused on what was really important to him.

"Oh gorgeous ...," I smile at the thought since it is true that I am relentless enough, but for the lucky factor, that really I cannot speak for. "It's really a simple thing, you just have to know how far you are willing to go to get what you want and/ or need and when you know you have done anything you can to get to a certain point but still do not have it, then that is when you probably tell yourself that you should stand down and admit defeat." My philosophy, fighting for what you want and let go when and if you have exhausted all of your options. "As for the lucky part, maybe it has to do with the fact that I carefully select the things I want to get into." That is probably it, but if I am lucky insofar, to me that has nothing really to do with luck in a way, I just do things that I want to do and do not stop until I am told to stop if another party is involved. But currently this isn't really about me, so I do not get further into my life philosophy because this is not the point while being at the spa.
"Only speaking the truth here ..." I say with a giggle when both baby girl and gorgeous say that I am right about lover boy being at the lakehouse and that theoretically Crystal and Atlantis do live together in a way. "Always the truth and nothing but the truth." I add on in a sing-a-song voice, besides I am still a lawyer first and foremost and honesty is the best policy somehow, but I also am not against a little white lie if and when it's necessary but insofar for matters like these, the truth rules simple as that.
Currently though, considering that baby girl does have a point and this is actually Elika's treat on whether to invite Lana or not for lunch, I do not even try to argue against that because that is still a fact, more or less this is somewhat gorgeous' law but it turns out that she really has nothing against having Lana for lunch which makes me smile knowingly before blowing a kiss in her direction. "Oh so ..." I start to say before I cut myself short when gorgeous warns me playfully, that causes me to laugh wholeheartedly. "No further perturbations until we leave this room, gorgeous." I tell her playfully with a wink before leaning against the wall since I'd rather keep on sitting right now otherwise I may fall asleep. "So it'll only be Delaana since I did say yesterday that she might have been my plus one, considering pookie doesn't want to spend some extra time with his therapist." Nonchalantly shrugging before looking at Franz with a knowing smirk. "Or maybe he does but he would prefer a one on one, I am betting ..."

Best behavior. Interview.23rd Precinct
Nazani feels herself getting a headache as she tries to make sense of the conversation, if one can call it that, between Atlantis and Mace; the way they leave their sentences unfinished proving that they have not yet exhausted the many ways they apparently have at their disposal to utterly frustrate anyone on the outside of their obviously close partnership. Reaching up and rubbing her temple when Atlantis asks her about the injuries the witnesses had sustained, Nazani is actually glad when Aninh fields the question for her, and only nods to confirm her agreement with what the Ranger reports.
"No problem, Nazani tells Aninh when asked to help with contacting the guests of the benefit, then holds up a finger as her datapad pings to alert her to the fact she has a message. After checking the message, the curvy Lorrdian tells Madieke, Wits are here. Interview rooms 2 and 4. Nemes will meet you there with the lab coat. Walking over to the seat beside Nuala, Nazani asks, Ready to make some comms?" Moving her lollipop to the corner of her mouth, Nuala says dryly, "Oh yeah, I am so ready to comm a bunch of rich twits to ask if they remember seeing their hostess throughout the evening it isn't even funny. Moving her laptop dataterminal to the center of the table so that Nazani can also see the list of names and comm frequencies, Nuala says, I'll start from the bottom, you can take it from the top." Running the fingers of her right hand through her small orange and blonde mohawk, Nuala pulls one of the UPD comm sets closer with her left and takes a deep breath while reminding herself to be on her best behavior before placing her first comm to the last rich twit on the list. Madieke nods when Nazani informs her that the witnesses have arrived, finishing the last of her caf and then heading for the interview rooms. Putting on the lab coat that Nemes has brought, Madieke tells him, "When you finish up with your friends in the OC unit, give Nuala and Nazani a hand with the comms unless you learn anything that could help me out with these two, or anything you think the Jedi could use with Orlov. Taking a moment to mentally prepare to act like a shrink, Madieke takes her datapad out to use as a prop and then knocks and enters the interview room where Orainn is waiting. With a warm smile on her face, and speaking in a warmer voice than she usually uses to try and start lowering Orainn's anger level, Madieke walks towards the table the irritated Nikto is sitting at as she says, "Good morning Mr. Orainn. Thank you so much for agreeing to come in this afternoon to help us. I assure you that we are just as motivated to see that Sike's killer is brought to justice as you are. Before we begin, can I get you anything? Some water or caf maybe?"

Delaana, or Lana for short, wasn't really the picky kind, she was already glad to be able to get a massage without an appointment, that the owner did squeeze her in for a massage, after a little exchange with her therapist whose name was Jiayi, Lana let her know that any relaxing aroma would do the trick and any type of musics too that would suit the massage, mainly for the therapist really... When the massage was done, Lana felt completely relaxed, she now had another masseuse to ask for if and when she needed an ashiatsu massage.
After her shower, Lana thanked her therapist again when she was led to the steam room with her bathrobe securely tied around her waist and a towel around her neck plus the chilled bottle of water...
"Okay, I get it you two, so we do not technically live together but we do." Crystal said with a laughter before taking another sip of her drink but while she did so she heard quite clearly that Franz was humming a song and she wondered what was that song but before she could even ask about it, her attention returned to both Elika and Lily. The former said she wasn't worried at all, which was a good thing and the latter seemed perfectly content already to be inviting just Lana for their lunch after making a comment about Franz and his therapist. "Just impossible and very unbelievable, baby girl." Crystal said teasingly, although what Lily had said previously, her own philosophy or something, that was something Crystal followed to a certain point, but she was no way near as Lily.
Either way, Crystal was sure that was going to be a matter for another time considering that she currently felt that the person they seemed to have been talking about was closer than she had expected her to be, which was why Crystal had her gaze turned in the steam room's entrance when her very own PA did enter the room after being led there by the therapist.
Seeing that Lana might have interrupted an ongoing conversation, she nibbled her lower lip briefly, obviously with all of this steam she couldn't make out who was there and therefore she recognized no one at first take. "I am very sorry for interrupting you, pretend that I am not here."
Crystal laughed softly and shook her head, she definitely recognized that voice despite the steam that obstructed her vision from where she was sitting to where Lana was standing. "Lana, it's fine really, come and sit down, you aren't interrupting anything, I promise." Crystal looked in Lily's direction briefly before looking over Franz and Elika with an amused smirk.
At first, Lana was clearly surprised to hear her name being spoken by someone but upon listening further, she recognized to who that voice belonged to, her boss and as she walked closer, she noticed that the Attorney General was there along with the Jedi and the Architect she had met the previous day. "Hi," Lana said with a warm smile before looking at both Franz and Elika with another smile. "Nice to meet you again."
"I did not know you came here." Crystal said nudging Lana's shoulder gently since she did sit down relatively close to her. "Next time, we should all go together..." It was a genuine offer and proposal definitely.

Eekeb snorts an incredulous laugh after the woman in a lab coat finishes speaking, shaking his head as he smacks a fist on the table and snarls, "What I want is to know why Vyridian's name is not in papers! You think you can get me to stay quiet with your smiles and your caf? I leave here and go to press! You want justice? Stop pretending UPD doesn't know what happened, stop wasting my time, and go arrest Vice Governor!" Crossing his arms over his chest again, the red Nikto glares at the woman, expecting that she will now shift her tactics to intimidation.

After their SE4 servant droid returns from the florist, Helaine begins taking the Velanie flowers from their wrapping so that she can put them in a vase.
Entering the kitchen where Helaine is preparing the floral arrangement with a survey map rolled beneath his arm, Lyov walks to the counter beside Helaine and spreads out the map, saying, "I think I've found a suitable location for our next home. Pointing to an island far off of a mountainous coast, Lyov says, It is remote enough to ensure privacy, and large enough to accommodate a residence as well as the other . . . amenities we will require."
Glancing over at the map while affecting a bored expression, Helaine continues arranging the flowers as she says in her childish and breathy voice, "It looks lovely. Smiling as it occurs to her that purchasing the island will provide her with the means to begin the diversion she has in mind to occupy herself while they lay low to allow time for the UPD and whomever might be assisting them in their investigation to think Sike's death was an isolated affair, Helaine asks, How soon will we be able to make the purchase? I'm so looking forward to designing our new home. You'll leave it to me, won't you?"
Rolling the map back up, Lyov says, "Why not? The residence is yours to complete. I'll see to the rest. The purchase should not take long. We may need the services of, he reaches over and taps one of the flowers, your new friends for some of what we'll need. I'll start putting together a list."

Upon hearing Mace saying that she would be following his lead, Atlantis furrowed his eyebrows before looking at her with a certain apprehension. Atlantis knew what she might have told him right now, that he should trust more in his abilities to lead but the fact was, Mace had done this before, she had already led a council back then, she had more experience, and yes he might have been older than her but it did not change the fact that to him Mace was better than him in many aspects. Yes, he still doubted his ability to lead the Mist Order and yes he wasn't certain that she should be following his lead. Maybe it should be the other way around.
... But it was too late to think about that and maybe get extra weight on the other side of the scale because they would end up wasting more time than necessary. Atlantis took a deep breath and closed his eyes for a moment before shutting down most of his thoughts, the only thing that he bore in mind was that his brother needed him. The moment Atlantis opened his eyes, his expression darkened and instead he adopted a mask of a neutral expression and finally he inclined his head in Mace's direction before finally walking in the direction of the wealthiest residents of Umgul City. Maybe he really looked like Andros right now or maybe not, but either way he wasn't trying to pass up as the Vice-Governor right now, he was here as a Jedi investigating some allegations and to find out the truth.
Entin & Orlov Residence
Finally reaching that estate that was as large as the Senator's, Atlantis looked momentarily around, he and Mace were still at the gate, that was for sure, but he could not help but to look around momentarily seeing not much of importance for the time being, so it was with a nonchalant shrug that he finally pushed the intercom of the gate in order to gain access to the residence.
When someone did reply and ask who it was, but also to state the business they currently had right now, Atlantis replied neutrally. "Atlantis Vyridian, I am here with Mace Vos to speak with Mr. Entin and Ms. Orlov. Please and thank you." Atlantis purposely omitted the reasons why he was currently here with Mace but he did not say that he was actually here as being a Jedi, and the couple currently could think whatever they wanted or assumed whatever they wanted for the reason of his visit really.
In his honest opinion, the less they knew the better maybe he might catch one of them off guard or even both, either way right now, he waited patiently to be admitted inside. Thus the wait began and Atlantis turned to look at Mace with a knowing expression.

One moment please, the polite and synthesized voice of a droid tells Atlantis. A small interval of time, in which the SE4 servant droid informs Lyov and Helaine of their guests and is instructed to see them in, passes before the droid's voice returns to tell Atlantis, Enter and wait by the gate please. The gates open after the droid speaks, revealing the reason it had requested the Jedi wait when the distance between the gates and the actual home is seen. The home is bordered on all sides by a tall wall of well manicured shrubs that conceal the brick walls that are situated behind them, and the beyond the walls treks of untouched forest land lay between the home and the city or other residences.
Moments after the gates open, the sound of an approaching speeder can be heard, and a pair of glowing yellow eyes will soon be seen in the pilot's seat. The eyes, or more accurately photoreceptors, belong to the SE4 droid that greets the Jedi when it pulls the speeder up near the gates, Welcome. Please enter the speeder and fasten your safety belts. Once the Jedi are seated, the droid turns the speeder about and takes them to the front door of the home. Follow me please, the droid tells the Jedi, leading them through the front doors and to the home's kitchen. The rooms the Jedi pass are all tastefully decorated, combining comfort while avoiding lavishness. The kitchen is large and well equipped, with a large arrangement of Velanie flowers dominating the central island where Lyov and Helaine are both obviously in the middle of working together to prepare a meal.
Looking up from the trakkrrrn ribs he is brushing with a glaze of some kind, Lyov smiles welcomingly as he says, "Grandmaster Vyridian, Miss Vos, welcome. Gesturing with the brush towards the ribs, Lyov apologizes, I'm afraid you've caught us making lunch at the moment. Give us just a . . ."
Reaching over and swatting Lyov's arm, Helaine looks up from the leafy vegetable she is cutting and pulling apart to say in her cheerful, childish voice, "Welcome to our home. We'll have plenty if you would like to join us."
Lyov finishes glazing the ribs, and begins wiping his hands on a towel as he says, "You are more than welcome to join us of course, though I imagine lunch is not what brings you here. How can we help you?"
Lyov and Helaine are both adept practitioners of Force concealment, able to conceal not only their Force-alignment, but also their ability to use the Force. The ability also prevents them from using their own abilities, the trade-off a necessary one to maintain their guises as normal beings when they find themselves among other Force users. Lyov, as an Epicanthix, is immune to Force-assisted mind reading, while Helaine, possessed of the natural telepathy all Zeltron are gifted with, has learned to make her own mind unassailable through years and years of practice. While the couple seems curious as to why their guests are here as any one would when being visited unexpectedly by the Grandmaster of the Mist Order, neither Helaine nor Lyov displays any signs of concern or nervousness. Both have played their respective roles for so long that they are utterly comfortable in them, and able to inhabit them fully. Lyov is, in fact, unconcerned. While he knows something must have brought them here, some mistake or oversight of his apprentice, Lyov also knows that absolute proof of her guilt is simply not available, and that they need now only avoid furthering the suspicion that must have been generated. Helaine, for her part, is simply curious as to what could have led any investigation to their door, and every bit as sure as Lyov that nothing definitive exists to prove her guilt. Helaine also relishes the challenge they will now face, the experience sure to be an entertaining one for her, if not for her Master who so seldom sees the fun to be had for all his patient planning.

Entin & Orlov Residence
At Atlantis’ dubious and apprehensive expression, Mace showed nothing outwardly, she only had that placid expression on her features when she looked at the man and blinked once as if to tell him that it’d be all right one way or the other. After all, despite Atlantis’ reservations, or what had he, she would always have his back one way or the other. She owed that much to him even if she had never said a thing, she still did due to the fact that often when she felt like she wanted to give it all up because it was turning to be pointless, she often thought of how he would approach that or what he would say to himself to just push through. . .
If he thought that he still wasn’t fit to lead the Mist Order, in her humble opinion really, she thought that he was deadly wrong. Out of the two of them, he was far more compassionate and very understanding and if he asked for the whys, she’d only end up saying that he always thought of the others before himself and she would even take the example of disassembling his lightsaber in order to hand Elikapeka the Kasha it contained.
He cared, maybe more than she will ever do, but Atlantis Vyridian did care that much and that was undeniable. . .
When they were finally facing the estate that belonged to their potential suspect, Mace slightly played with her gloves that were still on her hands. This was one of the things that she preferred not getting into especially when she knew that there were consequences to all of her actions but she had to know one way or the other. After hearing Atlantis’ spoken words through the intercom so that they could gain the access, she no longer heard any thoughts from him at all, it was just blank and just like him, she cleared her mind briefly and made sure that she securely had that medallion of her ancestor around her neck touching her bare skin.
Mace remembered the Ranger’s suggestion on how they should approach this but clearly Atlantis didn’t even go through that route yet due to the fact that maybe he just wanted to see their reaction first hand too. To make sure though, a just in case kind of thing, Mace grabbed her datapad and sent an encrypted message to Ayla, Horsea, Franz and even Andros to let them all know of her current location with Atlantis. She knew that they would all understand and that she wasn’t the type of person to just send a message mindlessly without a valid reason.
Finally returning her datapad back to her pouch, she looked at Atlantis briefly and inclined her head. “Just four, nothing excessive really.” Said Mace with a somewhat playful smile, although it was just for show just in case if some cams were watching but she knew that Atlantis would understand in a way.
Soon enough though a reply came through that intercom and she followed the instructions as requested until both she and Atlantis were led indoors, she did not spend her time to look around, she wasn’t the kind to do so when she had a sole purpose in mind anyways and once they were shown inside and led to the residents of this estate, Mace kept her expression peaceful and it even somewhat turned apologetic naturally when she saw that they had clearly interrupted the couple who were preparing some lunch.
“Good afternoon,” Said Mace with a warm smile although clearly she could perceive nothing whatsoever from them but just being the welcoming kind, no nervousness at all, Mace knew that could have been a possibility. It was a possibility one that she had expected but it did not stop her from keeping the pleasant smile on her face as after all they had been invited inside. “Thank you for having us but also apologies for interrupting you. . .”
This clearly was going to be a tough one to crack although she was thankful for a fact right now, considering that she had never been exposed to the press, and her name had never been splattered on the holonews as to who she really was, there really was a chance that Lyov and Helaine did not even know that not only she was part of the Mist Order, although the fact that she was currently here with Atlantis could have been a dead giveaway but one thing remained, she had no overt signs or tattoos on her face that indicated that she was part Kiffar and even if her last name could have been another dead giveaway considering from which line she descended really, still that could have been a random name amongst many other names. Fact was, she was half Kiffar but she did not look like it.
“If we are here today, it’s because we do have something to ask you,” Began to say Mace as she focused her attention onto Lyov really this time considering that he was the one with that knowledge on paper and then she looked up at Atlantis with a knowing smile. “But I am sure that the Grandmaster will be far more eloquent than I, so I shall let him express himself. . .” For now, Mace was buying some time in a way, but she had been speaking without hesitation really although she did notice that Helaine had been cutting some vegetables while Lyov had been glazing some ribs, now all she needed really was to just keep on observing inconspicuously which hand the two of them, or Helaine mainly used the most in their tasks.

Entin & Orlov Residence
The moment the SE4 droid greeted them, Atlantis followed willingly to the airspeeder but also the interior of the home. Throughout the drive from the gate to the residence, Atlantis' eyes darted around just observing the surroundings. This place really looked like the Senator's place sans humanoid guards. Atlantis guessed that maybe considering that they were at the wealthiest area of the city nothing could really happen here, which was the truth he guessed but still, if the couple was really charitable why really to droids as servants and not humans or any other sentient beings to begin with?
Those were mere assumptions until he buried once more all of his thoughts. He was thankful for something though, the fact that Mace did warn four people whomever they might have been, Atlantis did trust in her judgment, why wouldn't he? He always knew that Mace somewhat was always several feet ahead of him but that wasn't the point right now, especially when the droid was leading him and Mace towards the kitchen and more importantly towards the couple.
Atlantis smiled naturally and inclined his head respectfully. "Mr. Entin and Ms. Orlov, thank you for receiving us on such short notice." Considering that Mace had taken the floor so to speak for now, Atlantis muted himself but the first thing he did notice was that floral arrangement and it had been a while since he saw some Velanie flowers it made him smile briefly although it made him wonder if they had really interrupted something important. Then again it might have been only because Helaine did really have that refined taste for things. He did see that their home was nicely decorated but still this estate was large enough to house other area that they usually did not bring people to. He knew first hand that a house large as this had many secrets just like he was sure that the couple did as well, but right now he couldn't perceive that the two of them were even attuned to the Force and come to think of it, when people looked in closer, he and Mace had their signatures hidden.
But right now it wasn't really about gauging who had their presence known, especially that he and Mace were here for important matters. Atlantis looked in Mace's direction for a moment before he inclined his head slightly as he really understood that she wasn't kidding earlier when she said that she was going to be following his lead. "Did you by any chance notice anything out of the ordinary yesterday evening while you were hosting your benefit?" Atlantis asked genuinely and dubiously as he looked back at the couple with a faint smile. How could Atlantis not know about that benefit anyways, it was all over the holonews so that was common knowledge of course but then his attention returned to both of the couple not really saying anything about their investigation and how really it led them here but his brief glance earlier at Helaine did give him her height and the fact that she could have been the one to have orchestrated those crimes under the order of her Master really.
Smiling faintly, his attention this time was on Helaine with a knowing expression like he really did not have any doubts at all, as after all who really knew where his core powers laid on. "Then again, I am quite certain that you were consigned," Atlantis began to say nonchalantly but he did mean that the factual way, Helaine must have been the apprentice from the difference of age and even their demeanor. He knew that in most of a Master/ Apprentice relationship the Apprentice always somewhat thrived to be better than his or her Master especially being a darksider. People who targeted Andros as being the guilty one, the current Vice-Governor of the planet to him were really not peaceful somehow. "To make sure that everyone was having a good time, but we were wondering if you did notice something out of the ordinary?"

Of the sixty five beings that Nuala and Nazani contact to ask whether they had noticed Helaine around the time of the murders at Sike's estate, forty eight recall seeing Miss Orlov throughout the evening and feel positive she was not absent at any time; twelve report that while they cannot be absolutely sure that Miss Orlov was present at the time of the killings as they were engaged in conversation with other guests during the time frame in question, they find it doubtful that Miss Orlov was absent at any time due to the fact she had always been seen engaged with other guests and would be unlikely to leave her own party; and five guests, who are unaware their memories had been tampered with, state with absolute certainty that they were part of a group speaking with Miss Orlov during the time frame in question, their certainty due to the fact that a scheduled speaker for one of the shelters that donations from the benefit dinner would help was asked to address the guests during the same span of time.
___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
"Oh really, Helaine assures Mace with a wave of her hand, there is absolutely no need to apologize at all. Favoring her left hand just as roughly ten percent of any given population also do, or just like approximately 600,000,000 individuals in the case of Umgul, as she finishes slicing the vegetables she has been preparing, Helaine puts them into a bowl as she listens to Mace begin to explain why she and Atlantis are here, her expression the mixture of curiosity and confusion one would expect from someone being informed there is something they need to be asked without being given any further explanation. Smiling as, after Atlantis thanks them for receiving him and Mace on short notice, Helaine says, It's quite alright, then looks over to tell Lyov, The ribs are ready to be put into the oven love. Returning her attention to Atlantis, Helaine says, And please, do call us Lyov and Helaine. Mister and Miss just sounds so dreadfully stuffy and formal. Frowning in mild confusion after Atlantis has asked whether they had seen anything out of the ordinary, Helaine shakes her head after appearing to consult her memory for a moment and says, No, no I can't say that I remember anything strange happening last night. Looking over at Lyov as he returns from the oven, she asks him, Can you think of anything love?"
Picking up one of the vegetable slices from the bowl with his right hand, Lyov looks as though he is thinking back to the previous evening as he bites into the vegetable slice. Finished chewing, Lyov wipes his hands on a towel as he says, "I'm sorry, but no, nothing comes to mind. Since it would be normal to wonder what the question was about for one who had no guilty knowledge, and certainly odd if such a one were not wondering what the question concerned, Lyov asks with the expected amount of curiosity and concern, What kind of thing might we have noticed, if I may ask?"
A logical follow up question any one in their position and with no guilty knowledge would have would be whether any of their guests were involved in whatever might have been seen, and so Helaine asks in a concerned tone, "Has something happened concerning one of our guests?"

"Are you sure? Elikapeka teases Franz when he says that there is no need to invite his therapist to join them for lunch, then taps her chin as though in thought before suggesting, How about for the soon to be legendary Lily's Bikini Fantasy Day? I'm sure beautiful would be willing to make the invite if you're too shy, Elika adds with a laugh, then frowns as she finishes her teasing by musing, Unless of course she's right about the one on one idea, in which case I guess we had best leave that you, huh?"
Smiling apologetically at Franz to indicate she is only teasing, Elika sits up and takes a sip of her water as she listens to Lily explaining her philosophy, nodding when her friend has finished speaking and telling her with a theatrically pensive frown, "See, my problem is I tend to get to that admitting defeat part pretty early on, and then laughs as she says sincerely, Still, I have to admit that I really do admire you for your philosophy beautiful."
Waving to Delaana with an only slightly nervous yet genuinely happy smile when she arrives and joins them, Elika says, "Hello again, trying to think of something to add and managing only to come up with a slight variation of what Delaana herself had said, It's really nice to see you again too," only wincing internally at her inability to come up with anything clever or witty. Reminding herself that she has no reason to be at all self-conscious, Elika leans back against the wall and absently pulls at her right sleeve and then her left as Crystal and Delaana talk together.

Franz nodded quickly to the point that he inadvertently bit his tongue, "Ow..." He placed his hand on his mouth and only when he was certain that it no longer hurt did he look at Elika and Lily with an amused grin before laughing. "With the rate that is going, Lily could even create a swimsuit calendar." Franz's eyes widened and he covered his mouth for he couldn't believe he had just said that. "I mean uh... huh?" Franz scratched the back of his head and looked back at Elika knowingly. "I have no idea..." He finally said, since he wasn't sure really to be honest, but he guessed that he would figure that out sooner or later considering that it wasn't a pressing thing at all.
Smiling when Lily pretty much explained how she always managed to get what she wanted, Franz definitely admired her confidence and her willingness to make things happen. Again, that was something that wasn't too surprising to him and why Ryan was with her or how he was even willing to move here from Honoghr, which actually made him wonder in a way. "Say, Lily, unless you are going to tell me you do not kiss and tell, how did you and Ryan come about?" He asked dubiously since from the conversation he last remembered having with Lily, she really was taken by Ryan and now he was here, and he still did not know how that even started. "Last time you and I have seen one another and then now, just curious, then again you are not obliged to reply." Franz said sincerely before he leaned back and looked in the direction of where Lana was standing.
"Hello." Franz said as he waved his hand and looked at both of his hands now, four to one, he really wasn't living that odd now. "You know when you are the only guy in the room and just wished you could make yourself so little because you know that at some point you may do or say something crazy..." Franz said with an amused chuckle before shaking his head. "Yeah, that is me right about now..." Sighing in fake defeat before glancing at Lily and Crystal and then back at Elika. "I just have a random question for you Delaana, are you the teasing kind who can even traumatize people on the way, Franz closed an eye to think about how he should formulate his next part and looked back at Lana dubiously. "Or just nice who will listen to the ongoing banters that I am in majority subjected to by these three lovely ladies?"

Atlantis remained motionless the whole time he had been listening to both Lyov and Helaine expressing themselves, one thing that he majorly noticed right now, not that he even showed any outward signs was the fact that now it looked like a reversal had occurred… Maybe he was looking too much or dissecting too much into it but Atlantis could very well remember his first meeting with Helaine and Lyov, most of the words were there and also most of the reactions more or less. Though it did look like that Helaine still looked like she was calling in the shots, or maybe it was a ploy. Either way maybe he would get into that later or maybe he would definitely find a way to really expose their personalities. Who knew?
He knew that now he really had to carefully pick the way he was going to say things, although he also had to say things fluidly as they were he guessed. Atlantis sighed slightly and shook his head momentarily when Helaine asked if something happened concerning one of their guests. “Thank the Force, no.” Atlantis smiled warmly before looking back at both Helaine and Lyov. “Something did happen last night and it concerned a crime that occurred in the city, and it led me back to here when I was asked for some assistance.” He said sincerely although there was a little white lie there, since the trail did not lead them here at all and he kept on an emotionless expression on his features, he made sure that the tone of his voice was normal and even his heart rate was normal.
Atlantis sighed softly and looked at Mace knowingly before shrugging faintly before focusing his attention back onto Helaine with a faint grin. “So I asked you if you recall something out of the ordinary because, forgive me for putting it this way, but being a Zeltron makes you aware of some emotions, so one of the reasons why I have asked you if you saw or felt anything out of the ordinary during your benefit.” Atlantis said with a knowing expression before he waved his hand and looked at Lyov with a faint smile and then back at Helaine.
“Then again, I am sure that Lyov has commandeered you to make sure that the guests were indeed having a good time right? As I am sure that you would know when they aren’t.” Again, yes maybe he was playing fish, despite the rapport that the two were showing to the world, he wasn’t convinced just yet but further than that, one of the things that Atlantis did notice was the fact that Helaine was using her left hand the most, she had that perfect height of the perp and also the fact that Lyov was a duelist before did not mean that he still wasn’t one now, nor did he stop training perhaps Helaine too.
“But if you do remember anything further, please do contact one of us.” Atlantis began to palpate his pocket as if trying to find something although his attention the whole time was on the Velanie flowers making him wonder indeed where they had gotten that. But he guessed he could find out sooner or later, for now he turned to look at Mace dubiously. “Do you have a piece of paper and a pen?”

Smiling amiably at Helaine’s reassurances, Mace did not look anywhere in particular although she did notice from the corner of her eyes that Helaine always used in majority her left hand. Considering the odds, despite the percentage of left handed in any given population, Mace still liked those odds.
And thus it began. . .
Considering that Atlantis was doing all the talking, to which she really had no apprehension with for Mace did tell him that she was going to follow his lead. While he did talk, she had her attention on both Lyov and Helaine with a placid expression. Truth be told she did not even try to get into their mind because anyone with enough training could bypass any mind readers and she was definitely going to bank on the fact that she would find nothing substantial from them, let alone would be able to access Lyov’s mind to begin with considering she did went through over his profile last night and therefore she knew where he hailed from as for Helaine, really, she didn’t even want to start and begin to get inside of her head because if she calqued her thoughts like her public persona, it really was something Mace preferred not to get into.
Mace let things play out and preferred to not even talk for the time being until Atlantis asked her if she had a piece of paper and a pen. “Let me check,” Said Mace as she removed her gloves and tucked those to her belt before looking for what Atlantis was asking for, she did find a piece of paper, but the pen, no such luck. “You don’t have by any chance a pen lying around or on yourselves, right now?”
Either way, if it really had to come to that she really was ready to assume the consequences and if that did not happen right now, she still had another plan which would probably get her to be in trouble with a few that she knew, but really what did she care about that. . .

Helaine looks, just as one would expect from someone innocent of any wrongdoing who is being informed that the investigation of a crime led to their home, both confused and alarmed when Atlantis explains what has brought him here to her and Lyov's home. Moving closer to Lyov, who appears just as affected by what Atlantis has said, Helaine says in her childishly breathy voice, "Here? Should we be worried? Do you think we're in any dan. . ."
Putting an arm around Helaine's shoulders comfortingly, Lyov says, "I'm sure Grandmaster Vyridian would have told us if there were any possibility we'd be in harm's way," looking at Atlantis as he speaks as though looking for assurance himself that the Jedi does not believe he and Helaine are in any danger.
A consummate and talented performer, Helaine's response to the question Atlantis asks next is pitch perfect, a combination of distraction by the revelation a crime had occurred near to one's home, lingering concern about the possibility that proximity means one is in any danger, and the stunned confusion any one would have when their insulated world proves to be not so insulated. Her brows knitting as though she is trying to catch up with what Atlantis has said, Helaine pauses before saying in a vulnerable, sincere sounding voice, "Oh, no, I'd never use my telepathy to intrude on the thoughts of others. That would be wrong," she finishes, in a still distracted and worried voice, as though she is not attempting to persuade, but answering simply and honestly. She has not failed to note that Atlantis has more than once attempted to bait her with his word choices, but Helaine finds it easy to ignore the tactic as she is so immersed in her role that appearing oblivious to the intended subtext comes as naturally to her as all other aspects of her role.
Lyov, no less capable an actor than Helaine, appears confused at first when Atlantis acts as though he is finished with his questions and preparing to leave without ever having revealed exactly what had happened, and then cautiously relieved, as though he wants to believe that the fact Atlantis does not seem concerned about their safety means that they should not be concerned either. Patting his pockets when asked if he has a pen, Lyov shakes his head and then accepts the comlink that Helaine holds out towards him after reaching into his pocket and removing it with her worried and stunned frown lingering still. Smiling as though embarrassed he had not thought of the simple solution to the problem himself, Lyov taps the buttons to bring up his contacts, saying, "I'll just add you to my contact list," and looking at Atlantis to wait for him to provide his contact information. Every bit as able as Mace to pay attention to all that is going on without appearing as though he is watching everything closely, Lyov does not fail to notice that Mace removes her gloves while asking for a pen. The behavior is curious enough that Lyov recalls when thinking back to how Atlantis had introduced her for any hints as to her possible roles here, that her last name is Vos. Vos is a common one among Kiffar, a species known for their psychometric abilities. Though Lyov sees no outward signs that the woman is of that species, and cannot conclude that she is one herself, he knows that the Kiffar are not the only beings in the galaxy capable of psychometry, and almost wishes that he did have a pen to hand the woman. Assuming her objective is to examine something of his or Helaine's using psychometry, Lyov would have found it highly amusing to give her a pen that had been laying in a drawer for months, which would make for a singularly dull examination.

"My bikini fantasy is going to be so awesome," I laugh at the thought and how even gorgeous qualified that. Legendary she said, well I really have to make that awesome, "That if I did broadcast that event, it would put to shame any other events occurring in Umgul." I am pushing it far, that much I know and besides I don't really mean that, since it's a joke really and it is what it is ... Still a fantasy, But I cannot help but to sigh dreamily at that legendary fantasy of mine, though I perk up when I hear pookie's comments. "Ooooo, good idea!" Although that is something I would never do at all to any of those women ... Please, privacy has to be respected. Still though I cannot help but to look at pookie mischievously while telling him teasingly. "You would so be one of the first men to buy that issue, I can see it already."
Soon enough though I am looking at gorgeous with a warm smile because I am actually touched by her words, still though to me it doesn't change the fact that anyone and everyone can do what I do as long as they are willing. "One of these days, gorgeous, you'll get there and in the meantime, I'll do the pushing if and when it is needed." Winking at her playfully, it is a half truth, I expect her to know that much about me anyways, I will do whatever it takes to see her happy and only when she clearly tells me to stop, I will stop but so far, nothing yet, so I am pursuing that. Right now though pookie is asking me about how Ryan and I officially got together, it makes me smile because it is one of those things where I had to just go for it after I was surprisingly convinced by baby girl and pookie in a way that last time. "Nothing extraordinary when you think about it ..." I let pookie know, and this is a subject I can very well go into without problem. "No matter how much you say this is just sex, nothing more. The truth is I got burnt." It is the truth, at first I thought nothing of it, it was just casual. "Once, twice, that was just fine and then the third time, it was when I knew I started to care, so the following days after, when he came back, I told him and asked him exactly what was he really looking for and what did he want. Honoghr, Umgul, it's not like it's next door." Really it is not, seriously, and you don't really just make the trip for just that thing, okay sure he would also come and see his sister, but really? "He told me what was what and I told him to just man up and get on with it." I laughed softly before shaking my head because it wasn't how it really went, the truth was he had just got out of a serious relationship and he was clearly afraid to get hurt again, and it is something I can understand. "So there you have it, and now he is here."
Looking in Lana's direction when she enters the steam room, I smirk because this is clearly better than running into her at lunch. "One of my favorite people in the government building, what a lovely coincidence." I say with an amused smile before glancing knowingly at gorgeous and even baby girl, because clearly we have known for a while now that the Hapan bombshell was around. "I was actually thinking about you, and speaking about you, telling Kayne that we have never invited you at home." Maybe my statement there isn't really what I had in mind to begin with, but still my statement does make sense because we have never actually invited Lana at our place. "But we can probably revisit that later during lunch, want to join us?" I ask her dubiously with a genuine smile before glancing at pookie who is asking his own set of questions, Lana's answers actually do interest me so for that I do listen but I cannot help but to say in agreement to baby girl's suggestion. "What Crystal said, we should definitely come here together next time."

Snorting a laugh when Franz said that Lily was very well on her way to create a swimsuit calendar, Crystal shook her head and looked at the only man in the steam room right now. "Don't encourage her, pookie." Shaking her head with a knowing expression and smirk on the corner of her lips, Crystal looked upwards briefly when Lily actually said that it was a good idea. "Baby girl, I am vetoing the photoshoot at our place, if that ever comes to your mind. No bikini fantasy calendar." Crystal said with an amused grin although she turned to look at Elika dubiously considering that the lakehouse was also her home and Crystal believed in democracy. "Unless you want that to happen, then far from me to stop you two." The ball was in Elika's court at this point and anything that happened after that, everything was out of Crystal's control. Though there was that part of her that did not believe that Lily would even make that happen anyways, so in a way she was just joking...
Now about Lily and Ryan's relationship that was something that Crystal had already heard about so she just bowed out from that conversation not because it did not interest her but because she knew about it already and how it played out in a way. Crystal did see her brother from time to time whenever he was planetside back then, for just a little bonding or something over lunch or dinner. Crystal also remembered telling him something along the lines that if he cared too then he should probably say something and stop the whole charade in a way and now there they were, her brother and her childhood friend dating one another; Crystal was actually happy for them both, of course she knew Lily the most but it did not change the fact that Ryan was still her half brother, or just plain brother because he was. "Obviously he is here to stay." Crystal said with a warm smile, even if Ryan's presence often prevented her from talking about their dad, that matter was often quickly pushed aside until she got frustrated again about that in a way. But that did not really matter, all that was important to her was the fact that both Lily and Ryan were happy, simple as that.
Lana who had joined them after all of that, still felt that she had interrupted something and in a way she felt bad for interrupting but that matter was quickly pushed aside when Elika waved at her with a genuine smile. "Please, do not make me the reason for preventing you to say or do something crazy." Lana said with an amused laugh after Franz had spoken and she listened to him attentively as he asked a few questions which somewhat amused her. "It would really depend on the circumstances, sir," Lana winced briefly remembering that he had said yesterday to call him by his name. "Franz, but I really try and avoid traumatizing people when I do not know them that much."
"If it helps Lana..." Crystal began to say with a knowing smile glancing at Lily and Elika in particular. "We have been traumatizing him due to a request made by Atlantis earlier when he dropped us off." Winking playfully at Franz before leaning back against the wall, Crystal crossed her leg over the other as she listened to Lily. "What Lily said, and if you are not busy after this, feel free to join us for lunch?"
One thing was certain right now, Delaana was a little overwhelmed by everything that had been tossed in her direction insofar and usually she would know where to start but her massage had left her in a state of being subdued in a way, that she really was having a little moment to connect every dots together. She got that one part about lunch and something about an invitation at the lakehouse. But first things firts. "I really do not want to intrude and squeeze in the middle of you four..." Lana said as she nibbled her lower lip thoughtfully, she was considering it of course as after all she had no further plan after this, she only asked for a massage after all, and not the whole package really. Considering that the CFO and the AG did invite her, she really wanted to make sure that it was fine with both the Jedi and the Architect which was why she looked in their direction with a dubious expression. "Really, if you'd rather be only the four of you, I won't impose at all." Lana said with a genuine tone and smile.

"Don't give her any ideas, Elikapeka teases Franz in a theatrically worried, warning moan when he says that Lily will soon have invited enough guests to her bikini fantasy party to make her own calendar, laughing while covering her face with a hand when Lily jokes about broadcasting the party right before telling Franz his idea is a good one. Now look what you've done, Elika tells Franz with a playfully stern expression complete with a wagging finger, I hope you're happy. Giving Crystal a playful do you really need to ask look when asked if she would vote in favor or Lily's calendar or broadcasting ideas, Elika says, Um, no. Looks like that motion is denied beautiful, she tells Lily, So sorry," she says with a theatrically apologetic look followed by blowing Lily a consolation kiss.
Smiling as Lily describes how her relationship with Ryan came to its present state, Elika nods in agreement as she repeats Crystal's, "Obviously," since it seems to her that Lily and Ryan do compliment one another, and from what she has observed from the few times she has seen them together it seems clear that they care for one another and make one another happy.
Smiling as she looks at Delaana when they are asked if it would be an imposition for her to join them, Elika shakes her head and says cheerily, "It's neither an imposition nor an intrusion, then, worried that she might be looking into Delaana's eyes too long, looks down and removes some imaginary lint from a sleeve as she begins to go on, and, so . . . unable to recall what she had been planning to say, Elika laughs at herself as she pushes an errant lock of hair behind an ear and essentially repeats herself, It wouldn't be an imposition at all, really."

Franz knew that it was a joke to begin with and the fact that Lily was just playing along really was making him laugh. He tried to look guilty but that only lasted for a split second before he burst out laughing. "You three are really something else." Franz said that affectionately looking at the three of them warmly. He always was having a great time with the three of them no matter what even with the hiccups in between, that was fixed quickly so to speak and it was back to laughing and joking like how he liked it when the three of them were together.
When Lily described how she and Ryan got together, Franz listed to her attentively smiling by the end of it and nodding, obviously he was glad for her and Ryan, that was a given but also he was surprised to begin with that Ryan had been so willing to move here from Honoghr and just settle in, but then again he could tell that Ryan did care about her like she cared about him, so that all by itself made other things, what might have happened in the past just meaningless in a way. "Thank you for even answering." Franz said with a nod but just when he was about to settle against the wall, a few answers again was being sent his way.
"You really do not want me to get started with the crazies." Franz said with a fake shudder before he glanced at the other women with a sheepish grin. "I am afraid that the three of them might just traumatize me, or kick me or even punch me." It was a joke but not so much a joke considering that Lily was good at traumatizing people in a way, Elika was the one kicking him at least from last night and Crystal, really did he need to say more about that?
"What Elika is saying," Franz smiled as he looked from Elika to Lana with a warm smile. "What I am also saying is that, we would love it if you did join us for lunch, after all like a certain lawyer would say, the more the merrier." Or was it Crystal that would say that? Either way it did work for one way or the other considering that it was Lily and then Crystal who extended that invitation to begin with. "So really do join us and feel free to even traumatize me if that'll make you feel comfortable too." Franz stifled a laugh and rolled his eyes playfully before glancing towards the door.
"It's either me, or Cosimo forgot us?" Franz looked at the three women to begin since they were the one that knew about this and he playfully whined. "I really do want my fingernails to be painted black." He said in a playful whine.
