*Ellie furrowed her brow in thought as she weighed the options of getting the droid. The old thing wasn't expensive, but she didn't have a lot of credits to begin with. A familiar voice drew her out of her thoughts. She blinked in confusion, not quite believing what she had heard.*
*She turned just as a body slammed into her, giving her a hug. Normally she would be prepared for such a surprise attack, but not this one. The fact that it was Kateri that was hugging her, made Ellie freeze up. The bottle in her hand slipped free and escaped under a table. Ellie found getting words out difficult at first, then they came out in a surprised tone she couldn't keep down.* "K..Kateri?! Honon?!" *Gathering her composure, she got her voice to return somewhat to normal.* "W..what are you guys doing here?"

Umgul City - Random BarSitting at the bar, having a quiet drink, Nathan Reynolds, famous (or infamous, depending on how you wanted to look at it) for several heists against the First Order, the Alliance and several other lesser groups, was thinking back on everything that had transpired in the last few months. It hadn't been pretty. But he was alive and that was a start. Regardless of what had happened, he needed to get moving. He'd been sitting on Umgul for a month longer than he had anticipated. He had originally come here to sniff the air, and yet here he was, kissin' the dirt. Not something he was overly proud of, but there it was. As he finished his drink, he left a cred chit on the bar and rose from his seat. As he turned around, a large man was standing in front of him. He was clean shaven, closely cropped hair and bore a tattoo on his neck of the Alliance. Wonderful. An Alliance soldier with a bone to pick....As (the Alliance soldier) looked up, he was greeted with a fist to the face. Nathan had taken the opportunity to slug the soldier square in the chops. Staggering back, the soldier toppled over."Drunks. They are so cute..."Trailing off, he noticed three more soldiers stand up from a table, flexing and stretching, ready to throw down. Gripping his coat, he gave it a slight tug to straighten it out."Fine. Let's do this..."He muttered to himself as the soldiers moved towards him. Call it what you like. A sixth sense. A nose that can sniff out trouble a mile away. A keen eye for mischief. Maybe a little of all of the above. In any case, even though there were people around him, nodding heads and staking their claim aboard the Blasphemy, Fel walked off in the midst of it all, toward "Cho'zens Way Station" a few doors away. If anyone had asked him why then, why there -- Fel'd have no reply. Not one that made any sense, anyhow. Something in there required his attention.
Entering through the doors, the unmistakable sounds of a fight brewing were music to his ears. Casually drawing his DL-22, he sent one bolt into the ceiling -- just to get the attention of the drunk individuals about to make fools of themselves (but then, sometimes you can't help but let fools be fools...) Is this really what you fellas want? The beer bottle thrown (badly) at his head was answer enough. Placing the firearm on the table, Fel rolled up his sleeves and moved toward the closest soldier...

Kateri, her joyful expression and exuberant tone evident even though she speaks almost too quickly to follow, wanting to explain their presence swiftly so that she can begin to ask the thousands of questions she has for Ellie as soon as possible, "Our Master sent us to track down an assassin that has been targeting members of our Order, and there is a . . ."
Impatiently interrupting his sister before she can start laying out the complicated trail that they have been tasked with following, Honon gently pushes Kateri aside and tells Ellie to, "Never mind all that. Boring story. Resting his hands on Ellie's shoulders as though to reassure himself that she is truly here, Honon asks, Where have you been? What are you doing here? Everyone has been worried. Kaiya has been . . ."
"She's been waiting for you on Felucia all this time, Kateri interrupts, traces of accusation leaking into her excited and relieved tone, She's been despondent and withdrawn with worry, Ellie. Why did you leave without . . ."
Kneeling to retrieve the bottle Ellie had dropped, Honon examines it briefly before standing and interrupting his sister once more, gently suggesting that she, "Lay off, Kat. Give her a moment. You dropped this, Honon says, handing the bottle to Ellie as he grins and says what he knows he and his sister are, beneath all the surprise and despite all the questions they have, feeling above all else, It's really good to see you, Elle."

*Ellie's mind was still processing the sudden arrival of her two friends that she only gathered a few words of what Kateri said.* "An assassin? Why would..?"
*Her attention turned to Honon as he interrupted his sister. There were many things Ellie was prepared for, Honon's questions was not one of these things.* "I..I've been traveling, a lot, doing jobs for people. Mercenary work mostly, sometimes guard detail. Right now I'm here just trying to get paid from my last job. I know I've worried everyone and...I'm...sorry."
*She knew they'd bring up her sister. The sound of her twins name brought a cold pang of guilt and sadness. Hearing of hiw her sister was handling her absence, made Ellie feel even worse. Luckily, she was saved from answering the why she left question when Honon told Kateri to lay off. Ellie took the bottle from him and gripped it nervously in both hands. Most of the alcohol had drained out of it. Even still, she was slightly nervous to drink it in front of them.* "Thanks. It's good to see you also. I, really wasn't expecting to see anyone I knew honestly."

Though Honon, like his sister judging from her expression, finds Ellie's answers about why she had left somewhat confusing, giving plenty of what and no why, he decides to leave that subject for another time. Having known both of the Ordo twins long enough to be able to, based on body language and tone alone with no need to resort to calling on the Force, read their general emotional state well enough to tell that Ellie is feeling guilty enough without making her feel any worse by lingering on the subject of her twin, Honon grins and laughs, "Yeah, well coming way the Force out here to Umgul of all places was a pretty good way to minimize the chances of running into anyone you know."
Less inclined to let Ellie off the hook than her brother, Kateri crosses her arms over her chest and points out, "And yet here we are. Almost as though by design. Frustration and confusion evident in her tone, Kateri lifts her arms out to her sides as she asks, You're sorry? Really? Traveling and doing jobs? What about your duty to the Order, your training? What about your sister? While you've been doing all this traveling and working, you never once thought to . . ."
Resting a hand on his younger sister's shoulder, Honon says, "Alright, Kat. Easy. I'm sure Elle had her reasons, he looks over at Ellie as though wanting to be reassured that what he has suggested is true, Right? There is a good reason for all of it, Elle?"

Erik had come into this bar for a drink, a single kriffing drink, and of course a freaking brawl erupts. The mandalorian smith was pretty sure this was about the eight, no ninth, time in a row that he had sat down for a nice peaceful drink and it had been interrupted by the almost inevitable need for drunks to attempt to solve all problems, or perceived problems, with violence. Well if you can't avoid it you may as well enjoy it, besides there was no love lost between him and the Alliance military. Leaving his helm on the bar in front of him he makes one smooth motion, pulling his beskar bladed polearm from where it was leaning up to the bar next to him, giving it a quick spin, and then slamming the butt end right into the small of one of the soldier's backs. The man crumpled to the ground, howling in pain. The blow shouldn't permanently cripple the soldier, but he was certainly out of the current fight. Yes hitting a man in the back wasn't the most honorable thing, but it was no less than the man deserved for interrupting his drink.
Twirling his weapon casually around before holding it with only his left hand he runs his right through his slightly shaggy brown hair as he surveys the developing scene in front of him with his ice blue eyes. From the looks of their opponents Erik was pretty sure the soldiers were about to get a hell of a beating. Having released his own frustrations he leans on the haft of his weapon and plucks his drink off the bar and watches the rest of the fight play out.

*Ellie gave a hesitant laugh when Honon did.* "Yeah, Umgal is kinda a ways out here. What are the odds..."
*Her attention turned back to Kateri when she spoke. She wasn't letting Ellie off that easily, or letting the subject go at all. Ellie couldn't help but flinch at the other girls tone, even as subtle as it was. The pit in her stomach began to grow with each passing word. Ellie's hands fidgeted some with the bottle in her hands, while her eyes scanned around as if looking for a route out of here. Her eyes locked onto Honon's when he spoke. He was much calmer then his sister.*
*She closed her eyes and let out a slow breath before opening them to look at her friends.* "Yeah, there is. I wouldn't say it's good, but it's a reason." *She stopped fidgeting with the bottle and let it hang loosely at her side.* "When we were on Felucia, we helped a guy find an old artifact that had a strong connection to the force. Shortly after I started having visions of the Sith we were hunting. They weren't good ones. What I saw made me believe that I wasn't going to make it out alive, that I really was going to die going after him." *She paused as if trying to shake the memory from her mind.* "The more I thought on it, the worse it got. Then I got to thinking about Kaiya following me after him. What if she died and I made it? I wasn't prepared to live with that. So..I left. I was going to face him alone. And if I died, then at least I would go down knowing Kaiya was safe."
*Ellie let out a sigh and continued on knowing the would want to know what happened after.* "After I left and set out on my journey. I quickly realized how many credits it would take, and how broke I really was. So I took on mercenary work, which I was oddly good at. Then things started to run together, the days turned to weeks, then months. I did find him though, I...wasn't very proud of what I did, but it's over now." *Ellie really didn't know how to express her sympathy. She wasn't very good at it.* "I am sorry, I truly am."

Kateri, once Ellie has finished explaining her reasoning for leaving, looks only partially satisfied given that the explanation does not include any reason as to why Ellie has not been in contact now that the danger she feared would seem to have passed. "You're sorry? Sorry that we've all been . . ."
Waving impatiently for his sister to hush, Honon tells Ellie sympathetically, "It's alright, I understand, his tone implying that Kateri's lingering anger is not something that he shares. Grinning and reaching out to clasp Ellie's shoulders, Honon excitedly says, But it's over now, right? You said that you found him, and . . . dealt with him? You can come back now then, right? We can . . ."
Shaking her head, a rueful smile on her face as she studies Ellie and reads into her body language, Kateri says, "Only she won't come back now, and then arches an eyebrow as she meets and holds Ellie's eyes, Will you? You have no intention of coming back do you? I suppose that you don't want us to tell Kaiya that we've found you either, Kateri reaches into a pocket of her peacoat and pulls out a comlink and holds it up almost threateningly while taking a step backwards so that she is out of arm's reach from Ellie, Do you?"

Another bar, another fight, still none of his business. When it all started he reached behind the bar, grabbed the bottle he'd been working on, then grabbed his glass, and walked away from what was about to go down. He couldn't draw attention to himself after everything that had happened, he was supposed to be laying low because he didn't know what else to do. He had hit a dead end, two of them. He had to be careful about using the resources he once used freely and he couldn't call in too many favors because the more people who knew he was alive the more chance he had of being hunted down. He was used to fighting, he wasn't scared of it, he never ran from it, but this was different, this was like...and extermination. And he'd never faced anything like that before, much less alone. As he sat down he at a table a few feet away he noticed a man walking quickly toward the fight, up behind the apparent center of the whole thing.
But he needed to stay out of it. It wasn't his fight, well at least it wasn't his fight until that guy who rushed past him pulled a knife aiming to stab it in the back of the already outnumbered guy in the suspenders. There were few things that Ty couldn't stand and one of them was cheating in a fight that was already stacked in your favor. He sighed heavily as he sat the bottle and glass on the table, clearly what he did next was born out of necessity. He dashed toward the man with the knife a couple feet from his table and wrapped his arm around his neck from behind then grabbed his knife hand and threw the man into the bar slamming the hand down on the counter in the process loosening the guy's grip on the knife. He released the man's neck and pinned his arm down pulling back on the man's wrist applying pressure on the pinned elbow. "Drop it or I'll break your arm." He spoke calmly and though he was clearly drunk acted with efficiency. "Drop the knife, you don't want to die today." Reluctantly the man nodded and dropped the knife which Ty grabbed quickly and stabbed down into the man's hand pinning him to the bar. "Sorry about that," he said to the now screaming man, "and since I can't exactly trust a guy who tried to stab a man in the back, but I can't in good conscience leave you in screaming in agony..." He slammed the man's head down into the bar knocking him out cold. "Be thankful you're still alive. This could have gone very differently."
He turned to see the rest of the fight, he knew he had heard a shot a few moments earlier and it appeared to come from the man with some pretty severe scars on his face. A Mandalorian who had taken one out, and a slew of Alliance soldiers. And now a couple were coming at him. He signed again, turned picked up the bottle from his table and took a long drink. "You can walk away from this, you know that right?" He says with his back to them.
"Oh we know. But you're not gonna be able to." They crack their knuckles and reach for him.
He shook his head and shrugged. "Alright, The hard way then." In a blink of an eye he grabbed the bottle by the neck and swung around back handing the man across the face breaking the bottle across his face knocking him out as well. He fell like a limp fish in front of Ty while the other one stood there staring in shock at the drunk man who had just taken out two of his friends. Ty tossed the bottle to the side and put up his fists. "Well?"

*** Landing on his back with a THUD, Nate quickly rolled to his left as a chair smashed down on the floor where he had been. Oblivious to the chaos that was now ensuing within the establishment, he faintly registered a blaster shot, but was otherwise occupied to be too concerned about it. With a quick lash out with his left leg, he caught the ankle of the one soldier, who dropped to the floor. Jumping to his feet, Nate recoiled his left arm, fist clenched and socked the man across the face. And just as he was about to turn around, a big, burly fellow scooped him up and threw him...right out the window, which shattered as he passed through it. Landing in a heap of coat, glass shards and duracrete, Nate laid on the ground for a few moments, dazed. Finally his mind registered that there was still a brawl taking place inside the bar. Picking himself up, ignoring the new cuts and scrapes from being tossed out the window, he re-entered the bar. Having a chance to survey the scene, there was a large, muscular fellow throwing a serious beating down, and a scrappy looking spacer, heavily scarred, with a seasoned look about him, engaged in the brawl. With a smirk, Nate reached over for the pool cue on the billiard table and, casually walking up behind the Alliance soldier facing the drunk, muscular man, cracked him in the back of the head, shattering the cue. As the soldier crumpled to the floor, Nate tossed the shards of the cue away and shot the man a smirk."Nice day for a brawl, ain't it?"Before either man could say anything else, Nate, wide eyed and surprised, was tackled to the floor by a Weequay...***

*Damron had followed Fel, having gathered that this was the Captain of the marry band he had just signed on with. Upon witnessing the brawl taking place and Fel's eagerness to join in, the Zeltron decided it most prudent to let them all fight it out, while he stood by the door with his blaster out (set to stun this time). But this also didn't stop him from in the meantime sampling one of the abandoned drinks nearby.*

Setting her speeder down beside the Jedi and UPD's vehicles once they have all arrived, Madieke exhales a cloud of smoke as she steps out of her vehicle and then crushes the cigarette butt under her heel as she nods and says, "SWAT is on the move. Hating to repeat herself, Madieke doesn't remind them of each of their roles in the plan that they made or that their weapons, if applicable, should be on stun since the goal is to take Entin and Orlov alive, trusting that they all are well aware of those things. Instead of a last minute review of the plan or an attempt at a rousing speech, Madieke just says, Be ready," and then starts leading the way to Entin and Orlov's front door. After glancing behind her to confirm that everyone is in their assigned place, with the detectives hanging back enough to cover her and the Jedi in case things get heated sooner rather than later, Madieke rests one hand on grip of the DL-44 blaster pistol holstered on her hip and knocks on the door with the other. A 3D-4X administrative droid opens the door shortly after Madieke knocks. Its silver chromite plating every bit as polished as the refined accent it speaks in, the 3D-4 greets Madieke and her associates, Good evening, as it deftly and swiftly lifts the light repeating blaster it freed from the hidden storage compartment on its left thigh prior to opening the door and fires a shot for the center of Madieke's forehead. Turning the blaster on whoever is nearest to Madieke, the 3D-4 asks incongrously, How may we assist you? while firing a second shot for the center of the forehead of the second individual.
Three red hued lightfoils ignite in the darkened room behind the 3D-4 as it fires the second shot, revealing the shapes of the ASP-19 battle droids that wield them and reveal that the administrative droid had not been using the royal we when addressing Madieke and her companions. The red glow of the lightfoils as the ASP-19s begin to charge through the door reveals an additional four droid arranged behind cover of the furniture of the living area, SE4 servant droids armed and reprogrammed for combat like the 3D-4 with light repeating blasters.
Lyov, concealed within the shadows at the back of living area, watches as the droids initiate the opening move in the game he has been forced by circumstance to play with Madieke and those accompanying her. The droids are expendable pawns, used to remove the careless or merely unfortunate among his opponents from the board. Having used the time he has spent waiting for the arrival of his opponents to focus without interruption, Lyov had begun to cast Malacia upon his foes when the knock on the door signaled their arrival, the dizziness and nausea that should result from the power possibly hindering any efforts Madieke and her companions make to survive the opening attack of the droids.
Helaine, perched atop the railing of the deck overlooking the pool situated at the rear of the estate, smiles in the shadows as she spots the distant shadows in the mists obfuscating the grounds approaching the pool made by the SWAT troopers. The fingers of her right hand curl more tightly around the hilt of her unignited lightfoil as Helaine hums cheerfully to herself while using the Force she has been gathering within while waiting for her latest playmates to cast Force affliction on them. The resulting wave of power should slow the minds and bodies of the SWAT troopers, making it easier for Helaine to dispatch them. Once she is satisfied that the invisible attack has had time to reach and effect her playmates, Helaine nimbly leaps down from her perch into the swirling mists that hide her as, using the Force to enable her to move at inhumanly fast speed, she rushes out to begin the fun.
Not igniting her lightfoil until she is nearly upon the first of the two SWAT teams, Helaine darts past the right side of the lead trooper with her glowing red blade held out to her side at the level of their waist so that, if successful, it cuts the trooper neatly in half as she continues past them and lunges to stab her next plaything in the chest, all the while observing how the others left to play with are situated.

[ The Streets | Outside the Spaceport Bar | Umgul City ]Ellie had excused herself rather quickly all of a sudden, and before Amy could get a word in, the Mandalorian woman was gone. Well, Ellie was more than capable of looking after herself and finding her way back, by the Corellian's reckoning. Then, as if enthralled, Galdaart Fel started walking, towards a different bar than they one they'd just visited. “Fel?” said Amy, “Hey where're you...?” The man didn't appear to be listening and was just heading on, and Damron decided to trail him as well. Perfect. Checking her blasters, she made sure the Glie-44 was set to stun, and the holster safety clip was off as she followed after them. She latched her datapad to her belt while she took out the bioscanner, as she could hear the sound of a full-scale brawl going on. It seemed this was a common occurrence.[ Foyer | Cho'zens Way Station | Umgul City ]“Oh ferglutz...” said Amy, when she saw who the assailants were, and who Fel was seemingly helping. It just had to be Alliance soldiers. It wasn't exactly a long time ago that she and seemingly Fel had been one of them, but now they were fighting drunk soldiers. The Alliance was the lesser of two evils to Amy, but still, she didn't like antagonizing more big faction individuals than she absolutely had to. Nevertheless, her chief concern was Fel's well being, and getting into a brawl was not a good way to stay in the best of health. With a sigh, she watched the place with such a keen concentration until she felt time slowing down for her once again, and the adrenaline began to pump through her, and she could assess the situation with a chance of reacting to the most immediate threat.
Fel had thrown in his lot with whoever wasn't in an Alliance uniform, and there were at least two other active participants, with a third as a half-hearted joiner, the latter being another Mandalorian. The man with the tousled hair, day-old beard and suspenders was, by Amy's guess, the draw of this battle. The Mandalorian helped out once to knock an Alliance soldier, and then another man jumped in to stop a soldier with a knife in hand. There was a surprising number of Alliance soldiers here, and they were all joining this, while most other bar patrons were acting more or less like Damron. Amy noticed an unguarded armoured mask with a lined visor and it's own oxygen supply just on the table adjacent to the one that Fel had placed his weapon, which she appropriated for herself.
The mask was designed to just cover the face and nothing else. It latched on to hers when she placed it on, and pulled up the hood of her duster, then she joined the fray. She initially considered drawing her blaster and stunning the soldiers, but the rings were likely to catch others in its wake, and it's likely to draw the wrong kind of attention. She clocked one man between the back of the neck and head with a solid jab, who was aiming at (Ty), before rushing to the man who had been tackled by a Weequay, and with surprising strength, pulled the larger being off the man, and headbutted the alien, her mask protecting her from the worst of the impact.“You all right, mister?” asked Amy, extending a hand to the man (Nathan). She failed to notice another soldier approaching her, hands ready to wrap around her slender neck and crush the life out of her.

They were worried about her, or very disappointed. She couldn't blame them if it was the latter of the two. She bit her lower lip when Honon suggested, almost hopefully, that she would return. Instead, she locked eyes with Kateri and gave a slow nod of agreement. She wasn't coming back with them.*
*She visibly stiffened when Kateri threatened to contact Kaiya. Without thinking, Ellie called her bluff.* "You wouldn't dare." *Mentally slapping herself, she tried to cover for it.* "What would you tell her anyway? We found your sister, she's kinda broken and a shell of her former self. Oh yeah, she also drinks way to much and has barely slept in days." *All her pent up emotions were starting to release themselves with her not even knowing. Ellie started pacing back and forth, letting it all out.* "Even if I did go back, it wouldn't be the same. I'm not the same person anymore. I'm just...I'm not good enough to be a Jedi, never was. Kaiya is, and always will be, a better Jedi then me. For the longest time I couldn't figure it out. Then it hit me. Kaiya was always a Jedi first and foremost, she understood that. Not me, I tried to say I was but I was only lying to myself. I'm a warrior first, Jedi second. That's something I can't change, my ancestry is just to engrained into me."*She stopped pacing and turned to face her friends.* "I'm twenty-three and still a Padawn. There has to be a cut off point at some time. Because what am I going to do if I go back? Keep being Ellie the Padawn for the rest of my life? At least out here, I kinda know who I am. Even if it's not the best lifestyle for me. As for Kaiya, I don't know...I haven't been brave enough to face that question yet."

*** It had all happened so fast. First he was helping, and then he was tusslin' in the dirt with a Weequay. And then the Weequay was pulled off and knocked down. Surprisingly, by a female. Much smaller than the Weequay too. As she extended a hand to him, an Alliance soldier, bleeding from a cut above his right eye, approached her from behind. The masked female was oblivious to the impending danger. And Nate was starting to grow weary of this brawl. Still laying on his back, ignoring the hand extended to him, Nathan plucked his pistol from its holster and dropped two consecutive shots into the soldier, dropping him backwards. The noise from the T-6 Thunderer discharging in the middle of the crowded bar was cause enough to warrant a moment's pause. Answering the woman, he rose to his feet."Everything's shiny, darlin'."Bleeding from several cuts on his face and hands, Reynolds flipped his pistol over to stun and discharged several more shots at the Alliance soldiers that were still itching for a fight. At this point, most of the other occupants of this mighty fine establishment had fled or were hiding, so as not to be included in the brawl. Glancing over at the rest of the people that had joined 'his' side of the brawl, he hollered."I think it's best if we were leavin', by my approximation. These Alliance boys might be a bit ornery when they come to. I ain't plannin' to be here when they do..."Knowing full well that whatever passed for law enforcement on a planet like this would be fully aware of the brawl at this point, he had no intentions of either fighting the rest of these Alliance soldiers, or getting arrested for disturbing the peace. Holstering his pistol, he hollered to the seasoned spacer with the scars."I don't suppose you got a place for an upstanding fellow such as myself to lay low for a few hours...? I find the notion of being arrested unappealing..."It wasn't the first fight he had been in, in his time spent on Umgul. And by now, the authorities knew that. It was time to clear out and lay low, let things cool down a bit, 'fore he decided to poke his nose out again, looking for work.

Drops. Overrun.
Her eyes widen when Madieke sees the droid that answers the door raising a blaster, and even though her heart leaps up into her throat and her stomach drops, her voice sounds strong and calm as, while drawing her DL-44 and dropping into a kneeling stance, she calls out a warning to the others, "Blaster!" Hearing the droid's first shot crackle overhead as she is firing her own first wild and shaky shot at the droid as she drops, Madieke is almost positive that she has missed and so immediately fires a second after taking a brief instant to try and aim for the droid's head to try and disable it.
As the sound of her second shot booms out, followed almost immediately by the wicked snap of the droid's second shot, Madieke sees the lightsabers igniting in the dimly lit room beyond the door and begins to rise into a crouch so that she can begin retreating while firing suppressing shots before the droids wielding them overrun her position. Taking aim for the right knee of one of the lightsaber wielding droids, hoping to cripple it or at least hinder its movements, Madieke tries to comfort herself with the thought that the Jedi should be able to make quick work of the droids.

Umgul City street "You wouldn't dare...At least out here, I kinda know who I am. Even if it's not the best lifestyle for me. As for Kaiya, I don't know...I haven't been brave enough to face that question yet." Her brother Honon looks confused and almost like Ellie has hit him in the stomach by the time their long lost friend has finished speaking, but Kateri looks only saddened as she shakes her head and asks softly, almost gently despite the accusation inherent in the question, "Do you really think running away will help you ever find the courage? Lifting her hands as Honon winces, Kateri does not recant, instead explaining without rancor, only the heavy sadness that remains in her tone and body language, It sounds like all you've learned during your travels is how to give up, Ellie. Which part of your proud Mandalorian ancestry does that honor?"
"Ok, Honon interrupts, his expression pained as he tries to plead with Ellie despite the certainty he had heard in his sister's voice that there will be no changing their friend's mind, Ok, let's all just think this through before we jump to any conclusions. Visibly struggling to find the right words, Honon grabs onto one thing that Ellie said that he feels sure enough of his understanding of things to address with confidence, You're twenty three, right? Well, you know, most padawans statistically don't get knighted until they are in their mid-twenties, so you aren't behind at all, not really. The training from padawan to Knight usually takes ten years, see, and ..."
Resting her hand on her brother's shoulder, having returned her comlink to her pocket to silently convey to Ellie that it falls upon her to, when she is ready, let her twin know of what has happened and why, Kateri gently tells Honon, "You aren't listening, Honon. She's made up her mind. She doesn't want to continue her training."
Looking from his sister to Ellie, Honon opens his mouth as though trying to think of something that will change Ellie's mind, change whatever it is in her that makes her believe that she cannot be a Jedi, but ultimately only nods, accepting, if nothing else, that he is not capable of making such a change. Only Ellie, he finally accepts, can decide who and what she wants to be. "Ok, Honon says in a resigned tone, Ok, Elle, if you're sure. So, he looks back and forth between his sister and their friend as though for reassurance that, when he looks back on this moment, he will not feel as though he failed Ellie, as though he should have tried harder, what now? We just go our separate ways? We can't just . . ."
Nodding, looking into Ellie's eyes questioningly, Kateri says softly, "I think that is exactly what Ellie wants. A dim glimmer of hope evident in her voice and expression, Kateri tells Ellie, Just say the word, Ellie, and we'll go our way and you can go yours."

*There it was, the burning guilt of betrayal. Ellie should be getting used to the feeling by now, but it still stung just the same. She felt as though she let them down, failed them completely. Honestly, she had in a way.* "No, I don't expect to find courage that way. I'm not looking for honor either."
*She couldn't fault Honon for trying to make her feel better, make her want to come back. That's just what he did. Kateri's statement about Ellie not wanting to train anymore really made it sink in. Then another name was added to Ellie's list. Her Master, the one who had such high hopes for her. She failed him now as well. Tears began to prick at the edges of her eyes at the thought of it all.*
*Ellie looked back up at her friends when Kateri said that this is what Ellie wanted. Was it though? Did she truly want to walk away and leave it all behind? Or was she just still to afraid to face her sister and was just making excuses? She blinked almost in surprise when Kateri said they'd go their separate ways if Ellie just said the word. Ellie tried to say something but couldn't find the words, she stood there in silence for several seconds.* "I..I don't know. This is something I wasn't prepared to do, cause I suck at goodbyes." *She fidgeted with her bottle for a moment, thinking of what to say.* "When you see Kaiya. Tell her I'm an idiot, and that I said so." *There was a question she for with for several seconds before finally getting it out.* "You don't hate me, do you? For what I did, am doing. I wouldn't blame you if you did."

Entin and Orlov Residence - Front Entrance
Things happen too fast for Nemes, who has the presence of mind to lift his blaster in response to the droid's obvious movement to bring a weapon to bear, but unwisely elects to adopt a standing firing stance. The blaster bolt that Madieke succeeds in ducking beneath hits the Rodian detective in the face, reducing his head to a charred and smoking ruin as it sends him tumbling backwards and kills him before his body crumples to the ground.
Nazani, having crouched as she raised her weapon and fired a trio of blaster bolts at the 3D-4 that opened fire after opening the front door, rushes to her partner's side after he falls, her mind having registered the fact that Nemes is certainly dead even as she struggles to accept that conclusion. Instinctively grabbing the collar of Nemes' trenchcoat to drag him to cover, still unable to accept the obvious, Nazani is oblivious to the ASP and other droids that rush towards or fire at her, the Jedi, Madieke, and Kokya.
"Fall back! Fall back!" Kokya yells at the Jedi and Madieke as chaos erupts and she spots the armed droids behind cover inside the home, firing a quick burst from her blaster rifle towards the head of the ASP droid closest to the door. Traversing the barrel of her rifle to target the next ASP droid to come into her sights, Kokya fires at it as she shouts into her shoulder mounted comlink, Multiple contacts at the front entrance! Droids armed with blasters and lightsabers! One officer down! They knew we were coming, be ready!
Entin and Orlov Residence - Rear Grounds
Tresk Keneh, the member of the SWAT team that had made the ill-fated decision to make Doran Healy aware of the plan to arrest Helaine and Lyov, is the first one to fall to the Zeltron when she begins her assault, Kokya's warning coming too late and, given the nature of Helaine's attack, likely to have made no difference even had it come a moment sooner. Nearly frozen in an apparently foundationless panic that proves, in the end, to be all too founded, Helaine's application of Force Affliction skilled enough to have affected not only Tresk, but nearly all of the other members of the two fireteams maneuvering for the rear entrance of the estate, Tresk does not even have time to lift his blaster rifle in his shaking hands before the humming red blade of the lightfoil cuts him in half.
The eerie red glow in the mists that cuts Tresk down alerts the other members of his team to the danger they are in, but not in time to save the second member of the SWAT team from being stabbed through the chest. Sweeping the barrel of his blaster rifle from side to side to spray the area in front of him liberally with blaster fire as the second of his teammates falls down and appears to be swallowed in the mists, the final member of the SWAT team begins staggering backwards to retreat as he shouts in mounting panic into his shoulder mounted comlink, They've everywhere! Tresk and Gogov are gone! We've gotta get the frak outta here!
Umgul City - Four Blocks from Cho'zens Way Station
Setting his stimcaf down after a comm alerts him and his partner to reports of a bar fight with blaster shots involved nearby, UPD officer Opra Tive picks up the comlink mounted in the dash of his speeder and says, Officers Saffron and Tive inbound now. Four blocks out, over.
Already getting their patrol speeder into the air, the red haired human groans as she says, "Cho'zens again? Place should have been shut down a long time ago."
Nodding, Opra leans forward to hit the sirens as they speed towards Cho'zens Way Station, which has occasioned more than one call for officers to break up the brawls the place seems to regularly foment. The sound of the siren is soon joined by others as additional UPD patrol units converge on the scene, alerting the brawlers to the fact that they are about to find the fracas joined by members of local law enforcement . . .

There wasn't much for Ty to do after the third soldier had been taken care of by the guy in suspenders so Ty only nodded in response and turned back to the bar, not seeing the rest of the events unfold. He had done his part, maybe saved a life, and now he had time for another drink before the authorities came to get them. He couldn't afford that. He'd kept his name and face off the radar for this long, a chance fight wasn't going to ruin that for him. He indiscriminately grabbed another bottle from behind the counter and looked up at the bartender who was as far back against the wall as he could be with a terrified look on his face. Ty paused and looked back at the people on the floor then to the people standing above them then he looked down for a moment before returning his gaze back to the bartender and shrugged with a small grin. "Sorry 'bout the mess." He took the bottle and tucked it under his arm then reached in his pocket and tossed a credit chit on the counter. Then started to walk toward the door, only stopping to see the only person who had actually been shot.
He reluctantly bent down and checked the man's vitals, the last thing he needed was to be wanted by the Alliance as an accomplice to murder. "He's alive. Barely." He looked around and saw a Mirialan man hiding close by, "You." Ty looked around again spotting what looked like a medkit behind the bar. "Get that medkit back there, keep this guy alive for me yeah?" There was no reason to kill this man, not any that Ty could see anyway, a drunken brawl would be that. It's doubtful that the guys would say much about the small group of random strangers that kicked their choobies, but letting one of them die, now that would have repercussions.
Ty stood as the Mirialan made it to the soldier. "What's your name?"
He looked up at Ty. "Lu--Luman, Luman Madyr sir."
Ty nodded and smiled at the man making a note of his name, "Well Luman, keep this one alive and I'll owe you a debt." The Mirialan nodded and went to his work. Ty turned back toward the door and started walking out as he heard the sounds of sirens in the distance. He doesn't stop going for the door but as he reaches it he does look back the people still standing, "We should run." He said calmly as he opened the door and stepped outside.
