A sleek shuttle cut through the air, streaming over the jungle of Lao-mon. In his mind, Drathe could feel the old patterns slipping into place, settling into a comfortable rhythm. Here, on this world, life was everywhere, a massive, teaming flow of the Force. All around him, life began, thrived, and was ended. Here and there, pockets of Dark energy swirled, clashing with the less common but equally powerful bursts of the Light. Seeing, and feeling, and emptiness ahead, Drathe brought the shuttle around, slowing into a smooth approach. Here, everything had been blasted by terrible weapons, both of energy and matter, and more horribly, tangible destructive forces of every vein of the Force had been brought to bear. The last battle had been a violent one.
The shuttle settled onto a smooth patch of the rubble of what was once a thriving town. Father away, where the destruction was more thorough, the ground was bucked and heaved, great patches ripped up, sheets of stone pointing skywards where they had been slagged, blasted upwards, then cooled. At the centre of the town, where the destruction was the worst, sat the remains of an old fortress. Glimmers of its past glory remained, hints of the great wealth Drathe had commanded when he owned it. Striding out of his ship, Drathe's heart swelled slightly with pride. There, where buildings themselves had been liquefied, one could still see the faint traceries of the support walls of his palace. The alloys he had handcrafted in his forge had taken the beating of the mightiest weapons the galaxy could throw at them, and had held. The upper levels had been reduced to a smouldering pile of rubble, but just the fact that they hadn't become molten like everything around them suggested to Drathe that most of the lower levels would be intact.

~The sleek aurek fighter cuts through the atmosphere heading down to the planet. The feel of the force changes, its almost as life itself hits you through the force. For that is what you feel, the planet brimming with life. However where there is life there is also death as is the balance and natural order of things. As there is light there must be dark. For there is not light that does not create a shadow and no dark the can remove the light. This is how this are here on Lao-Mon as well as in the galaxy, or so Nile believes. He does not see the Sith as "evil" any more than he sees Jedi as "good". There are two sides to the same coin their methods are simply different in nature. Staring in awe down at the planet he once called home Nile remembers the feel of the planet its nature order its almost melody in the force. He syncs his force pattern to it and gets lost in its current.
Finally they reach their destination a crater of land that had been left for ruins from what had obviously been a furious battle from above, The land was destroyed its death and decay still lingered in the force. Nile set his Aurek down on a patch of ground close to where Drathe set down. Nile hopped out of his ship and watched them sith lord. Who appeared to be reliving a past moment as he looked the area over. Nile remembers this town well for even though he lived in a village further away he visited this place often. It was the stronghold of the Lord of Lao-Mon and his great fortress. The town didn't even look recognizable anymore for most buildings had been reduced to literally nothing. The fortress seemed to be in the best shape out of any of the buildings even it looked battered and beaten. However that it was still here was testament to its endurance and strength of walls. Nile wondered what could have survived further down if this high up looked this good. He decided he would see soon and walked over to the Lord allowing him to make the first move either to talk or simply to continue.

Drathe watched the being approaching him, getting a general sense of his power and combat abilities by watching him move. Unless he was highly adept at hiding signs that were imprinted on the subconscious mind of most fighters, Drathe believed he would come out ahead in a duel between the two of them.
<Although>, he mused silently, glancing down at his body, <I do have a considerable handicap. Maybe I need to reassess my own capabilities first.>
Wrapping his heavy robe tighter about his body, Drathe moved forward to meet Nile part way. He raised a hand in greeting.
"Knowledge brings Wisdom, Wisdom brings Truth, and Truth guides my hand."
Drathe spread his arms to encompass the entire ruined town.
"I lacked knowledge of the motivations of outsiders, thus the wisdom to foresee their actions, and so the truth of my existence was brought down upon me in fire and destruction. It's an interesting philosophy, wouldn't you say?"

~ Nile was well trained in both martial arts and at the abilities of the sword. These type of trains were shown heavily by the way his body held itself and by which he walked. He walked with the grace of a feline with a grace and step as if ready to spring into action at any point. Nile watched as Drathe moved forward to come and meet him. The man had a walk of a warrior and judging by the bulges of his cloak it appeared as if he also had four arms not just two. The species of the man in front of him was unknown but looked very reptile like and had four eyes. If the man was indeed reptile Nile guessed these eyes could likely see into the infrared spectrum. Listening as the lord talks Nile looks around as Drathe spreads his arms signaling all around them. He thinks for a moment before replying carefully to the man.
I don't completely agree, respectably. One can wield knowledge yet have gained no wisdom. The wise can still make wrong decisions. Sometimes thinking yourself to wise can be cause of great fall and worry. Knowledge with caution, Wisdom with Patience, Strength with Guidance. I find balance is the way to unlock ones true potential. When one has balance of mind one makes the rational decision using the wisdom and knowledge one has gained.

"Hmmm."
Drathe nodded his head slowly. There was a point among what the young man had said.
"You are wiser than you appear. We will have to discus this at length later. For now, it seems we both agree that knowledge is a good place to start. Well..."
Drathe swept his arm up to point at the ruin of his mansion.
"Shall we go see what we can learn from the broken remains of my past life?"

~ With a quick nod Nile starts to move around the ruins following the Sith Lord as he made his way deeper into the old fortress. Old structures could be seen almost as if blending into the rampart growth of the forest around them. Time was not the same on Lao-Mon like on other planets. Here the jungle ruled all and grew fast as a whip. It could make a village of only a decade look over a hundred years old. Nile continued to wander waiting to see where the lord would take them. Likely to some sort of secret entrance.

Drathe did indeed have several secret enterances built into his mansion. One had led to his office in his factory, and another to his private hanger, both of which had been reduced to slag, rendering those entrances impassable. A third had lead to the roof, so that too was not an option. Picking his way carefully across the rough ground and past the sharp sheets of rock, Drathe headed for the mansion. He walked slowly around it, searching for a specific spot. Upon reaching it, he stopped, staring, then swore softly. There was a door there, and it was obvious that it had once been well hidden, but now, it sagged, and parts of the wall and door had fused together. Reaching out with the Force, Drathe tugged gentley at the metal here and there. It was ovious that the door would never open through conventional means, but a display of raw power could be used to rip it free. Drathe took a deep breath, preparing to gaher his energies...and paused. It could also be used as a learning device. Drathe spoke, not bothering to raise his voice or to check if his intended audience was within range. If Nile heard, then he would hear, but if he had remained too far away to hear, Drathe would have a few sharp words for him about the nature of courage, and the failure of being timid.
"Well? You are familiar with this village and this planet. You've seen the devistation around us and the damage done to this building. Tell me how you would open this door."

Nile had been scouting the area noticing another ship come in for a landing approximately where the two of them had landed not shortly before. The feeling of the person in the ship was a familiar one it was someone that was an old friend and now a trusted companion. Nile let the feeling last for a moment but did not take his attention from his surroundings. Very dangerous beings lived on this planet and Nile knew this very well. Though Shi'ido were not known for their violence they did not especially enjoy visitors on their planet. They enjoy being the ones to observe not the other way around. All the while Nile made sure to keep close to the sith lord for if anyone knew the location of a suitable entrance it would be him and it would only waste effort to search without him. Finally the man came to a stop at what once was obviously a hidden door. The door however was no longer hidden as rubble from what must have been many layers of floors surrounded it. The lord reached out in the force to check its safety and if it was capable of opening any longer. Nile could feel him reach out in the force and could also feel himself that it was pretty stuck and would not be opened how it used to. However the door was only slightly fused with the wall and with precise strikes could still be opened with an easier motion than pure force. Nile heard the sith lord speak up to him, the question was obviously a test for him. Nile cared not for his test and did not reply instead he stepped forward reaching into his cloak he withdraws a mask from inside.
The mask is fairly simple some might consider it some kind of joke only people of the same group as Nile would understand its real purpose. The mask has big black eyes painted on it that point in the top left and bottom right of the shape, the rest is rounded out. Besides the matching pair of eyes only two other things are found on the mask. The next is the masks mouth which is nothing more than a curved line almost "v" like in shape on the mouth on either end just before the "v" comes to an end two vertical marks go down through the mouth, two on either side. The last part of the mask is the two black lines above the right eye portion of the mask. These lines hold the most meaning for one who knows what they mean.
Having finished walking all the way up to the door Nile inspects the door frame and the door itself with the force. Nile had trained his eyes well in the force in fact it was his only talent with the force. He could create illusions from eye contact, he could see with the force better than his own two eyes. However it was the last of his abilities that he planned on using here. He had managed to become so strong in the force that if he focused he could see how things connected. How things would fall apart almost as if he knew an objects weakness or strength just from looking at it (aka shatter point). He used this ability to look at the door closer and withdrew his lightsaber from his robe. He placed the butt end of the hilt against his chest and aimed carefully drawing the force to him almost slowing down time, or so it seemed to him, to others it would appear he blurred for a moment in time. He says one line before the lightsaber comes on that could be barely heard.
"Rain down, Tempo"
His shoto flashes on and off in a blur of motions about 5 times, that is if you could see them while he was using force speed. He still stood a good 2 meters from the door and to on lookers it might be confusing how his shoto saber which was less than half a meter a moment ago was capable of doing anything. None the less there were 5 smoking holes now along where the door and wall fused. Than reaching out a hand Nile presses his hand against the door and musters a weak force push, the door creaks and falls inwards. Nile is left breathing heavily for a few moments as such a combination of force powers was taxing on his strength even with all his training to use them to a master level. Nile than turns towards the sith lord, Drathe Riali.
"Did I pass?"

Drathe watched the short display. There was skill there, and a talent for the Force. Had he chosen to, Drathe knew he could have touched the Force and followed he full motions, as fast as they had been, but seeing the results had been enough for him. Drathe raised his left hand, seemingly studying the mechanical joints, fingers flexing slowly open and closed repeatedly. His voice was rougher than before, the edge of some undefinable emotion colouring his tone.
"You haven't been sorely challenged by much in your life, have you? You seem arrogant, cocky. The paranoia built into this palace kept a Sith Lord alive for centuries. If there had been something waiting on the other side of the door, something invisible to the Force, and dangerous enough to pose a threat to the likes of us....and trust me, there are many such things....then your little display could have very well been the deciding factor."
In his mind, well shielded from the outside, Drathe laughed. There was often no way out of his lessons...and that was often the lesson itself. A large display would have earned Nile a talk about ego, and no display at all would have been hinted at being a lack of courage or conviction. He had let his Chel side speak, knowing that it would be able to put forth better words on this subject.

Having finished Nile stood at the door weapon still held at the ready force senses extended. He than heard the sith talk from behind him and almost laughed aloud at his words. Instead he kept himself in check and turned calmly to speak this so called lord that seemed to feel he had a need to belittle others, though Nile could only guess that's how all sith talked to make themselves feel more important so it mattered little to Nile.
"Arrogant you say? I can't say I know what you are talking about."
Nile was sure the sith lord could feel the grin he was wearing through the force but his emotions lay hidden behind that fake mask buried deep within his mind. The sith lord would not sense anything but sincerity from his previous statement as he so obviously disregarded what the sith had scolded him for. Nile couldn't care about the less about the siths opinion and had been ready for such an attack if it rose thats what battle experience was for and why he held his weapon still at the ready. Seeing the situation was obviously over Nile clipped the lightsaber back inside his cloak but had still his senses ready. He removed his mask as well showing only a grinning face much like the mask had shown with his eyes mostly squinted in what looked like a smiling face but would look odd to those that observed him.
"Well what do you plan to do now you have your entrance? "
