Rianon smiled at the man. At least, she was under the impression that the figure in green was male, judging by the voice.
"Are you joining us on the ship? I would be happy to give you an exam. There are a couple things I will have to clear with the Captain before I start seeing patients." Her smiled widened, "Do you really think an itchy toe is indicative of kidney failure, or do you just like cold exam rooms?"

Dazbog paused, and the intensity of his raised eyebrow could be felt, even beneath the shadow of his hood. He raised up a sleeve and showed a rash, red and irritated, probably from a long time scratches. It was of course fake, but to any medical tests it would appear as though it was real. He could even make his kidneys fail if need be, for the sake of the joke. He actually had no kidneys, but he was a Whill, and had powers to create himself some.
"I know enough to know that when the kidneys begin to fail it can build up waste, and that buildup can cause a rash and severe itching. Like an SOS from a sinking ship. It could also be all the coffee I drink, but that's neither here nor there. It's a job requirement, and I get paid well to do it. Like I said....dental."
Dazbog began scratching at the rash. It didn't really itch, it was all for show, but he was a thespian at heart. If he had a heart. He could give himself one, if he wanted. He might have to if he was going to be examined.
"What's the effect of fifty thousands years of caffeine overuse on the body?"

Nathan continued to make his way through the bustling crowds of Coronet's Spaceport. He was looking for the right address that would allow him to meet up with his potential new mechanic. As he walked along, he also noticed that Zoe was no longer following him.Probably helping Willow. Zoe was always helping her. Nathan couldn't remember what possessed him to bring her aboard. But her comm and sensor skills were certainly exceptional, so he made an effort to tolerate the old woman. As long as Nathan didn't get into long winded conversations with her, he was okay. Old people tended to like talking a lot, especially when it came to boring the younger folks around. Hopefully soon, he'd locate where Mr. Castle was.As he continued to walk, he was busily scanning over his data-pad and not paying attention to exactly where he was going. His left shoulder clipped a by-stander. He stopped and spun around. Realizing the person was a reasonably attractive young female, Nathan began to apologize profusely."I am extremely sorry, Miss. I should have been paying more attention to where I was going. It was entirely my fault. Are you alright?" *Lana's'eyes were on her datapad as she walked through the city streets. Her pace was slow, in case she ran into someone while walking. Which was fortunate because it wasn't long before her lack of focus caused exactly that, a minor collision to be sure but it was enough to jolt her out of her reverie. She turned around to see who had hit her, and it was a human male, looking like he was in a hurry. He was at least polite enough to apologize, and not bad looking to boot. Huh...
She flashed a smile.*"What? No it's OK, I wasn't looking. No harm done at least, right?" *She was about to turn to leave, when a last second thought occurred to her. It was a shot in the dark, sure, but it couldn't hurt to ask.*"OK...this might be a bit sudden, but you wouldn't happen to know anyone who's hiring would you? I got back into town just now and I need a job." *She didn't expect him to have any answers, but one never knew...*

Rianon raised an eyebrow in response to the man's question."You seem to have some medical knowledge. What you said about the kidneys is true, but you wouldn't just be covered in an itchy rash. You would be jaundiced. And that is something you can't hide by wearing sleeves. Having the whites of your eyes turn yellow is usually something you can't miss. A deep hood does rather well at hiding it I suppose. And here I thought you wanted to be mysterious. Turns out you're just trying to hide a medical condition."She sighed and glanced at the ship before turning back to her conversational partner."If you have been alive for fifty thousand years, I doubt you need to worry about the effects of prolonged caffeine use. But you could also be lying. Either you are lying about your age and are simply trying to engage in an interesting conversation. Or you are lying about the possible kidney failure and are testing my knowledge. A bit rude, that. So, you are either a delusional liar or much more than you appear. Care to tell me which one it is?"

Dazzbog stopped scratching the rash and put his sleeve back down. A smile could be felt from the depths of his hood. Now for a cover story.
"You are correct. My kidneys aren't failing. I just had a bad night with a Twi'lek dancer. And by bad night....I mean extremely good."
Dazbog chuckled, and then brought his finger to the lower part of his hood, as if it was his chin, and tapped it a few times.
"Can't say that I've ever been around for fifty thousand years. I'll be lucky if I reach seventy at the rate I'm aging."
Dazbog crossed his arms and chuckled again, a deep throaty laughter of joy.
"Nothing interesting about me except for the words that come out from my lips, young lady, I assure you. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Hysio Alonn. I'm a trader trying to seek passage to a new market. Corellia has dried up for me, I'm afraid. The beans have been bitter for a few days. Time to move on."

Venom observed as the two conversed.
It certainly was a rather odd conversation as that. The robed figure was certainly more than he appeared. The Zabrak knew that before the young woman voiced her thoughts on the matter. As for the young woman, she certainly knew her trade. It would definitely make a difference having the likes of her on the ship. As the young woman asked the robed man a series of questions, to which were responded to rather quickly, Venom decided it was time to interject before it took off in a whole different direction.
The Zabrak cleared his throat, rather loudly.
"To answer your previous questions, no there is nothing wrong with lookin' at ships, so long as you ain't one to cause trouble. As for price of passage, two hundred creds for anything local. Anywhere else can be fifty to a hundred more on top of that. Even more if the Cap'n don't like where you're going." He faces the young woman. "As for you Miss, welcome aboard Serenity. Cap'n said to be on the look out for new crew and passengers. Once we're finished up here and the Cap'n returns, I'll show you to your respective quarters. Name's Starkiller too, by the way. Venom Starkiller."
Venom tipped his wide-brimmed hat and pulled a Sweet William cigar out of a pouch on his belt. He lit it and inhaled slowly. He then exhaled and continued to puff on his cigar, content to watch them converse.
Once could discern thousands of this from simply watching. And Venom planned on doing just that.

Dazbog, now going under the alias of Hysio Alonn, bowed to Venom once he introduced himself by name.
"I go where the beans take me, young man. Anywhere is as good as any other place. The fee is fair. I hope the food is good on your ship. If not, I like to fancy myself as a bit of a connoisseur. I'm looking forward to meeting the Captain."
Dazbog walked up to the Zabrak and pulled out a credit chit, several coffee beans falling loose from his pocket from pulling out the chit.
"More than enough to go anywhere. As I said, I get paid well for my work...Dental."
Dazbog pulled down his hood to reveal his face, and stood up straight. His face was old, his beard long and stained by coffee, but his eyes were a young and vibrant green. He smiled at the Zabrak.
"While you check that out and insure its not counterfeit, allow me gather my things."
Dazbog clapped his hands, and suddenly two droids came hovering over to the ship, carrying a large wooden chest, stained dark, near black in fact. Dazbog turned back to look at Venom, with a smile on his face.

Still coming up the street a slower pace, it was all part of the roast. It was only after the Captain had turn to another street. Did Tamar stop taking a moment shift her load on her hind side. Looking over to Zoe with smile that show that there was teeth missing. Giving her a hackle as she look up the street. Captain seem to be going full force, someone light fire under his butt, or he just don't like this lovely planet...Turning the other way as in hand was a data pad that had a list of what they was to pick or at less try to with what little credits that was given them. It was only a matter of time, but then she knew where they was going to. Looking up for number. Two more shops down, before putting one of her hands upon Zoe. We enter here, trust me...It look a little run down from the outside, but as they step in off the street. It only became a lot different on inside as it looked like a cafe. Only she didn't stop there bring Zoe along going to the back of the cafe. As they enter the hallway that lend to the powder rooms. Only they went right by them, to a wall, it was only then that Tamar or Willow as she was known by for now with the crew she had join up with. Putting her hand on mental looking plate, only to speak into no direction. White fluffy kittyThere the whole wall moved, moment later they found themself behind it. In a open black market, coming up to the one that seem to be running the whole. This coming up to her full heights with staff still in hand. Sugar, I see your dad has you running things around here. For a moment Beaua, just stared at her for a long time, as if she knew the voice but the looks didn't match. Then a grin come to her lips. I'll be hutt uncle...Tamar...I thought you was dead...Hardly, you know me, I'm a survivor...so do you think you can help my friend Zoe, with the list she got from our Captain, on cheaper the better...At this point letting Zoe talk to Sugar about the supplies that was needed on board. Until then she would herself walk about to see what she could get for data. Zoe was impressed with what Willow had led her to. It was a black market supply depot. Zoe pulled out a data pad and passed it to the woman."I'll be needing the entire list, as quickly and as cheaply as you can please. We're in a bit of a hurry."Zoe turned to Willow."Was there anything else you needed to take care of, while we were here? Once we are done here, we'll be heading back to the ship."

I wouldn't mind at least setting these down inside while we wait for the Captain. These bags aren't full of feathers."She turned toward the man in green."It is a pleasure to meet you as well, Mr Alonn. I look forward to getting to know you both a little better."

It took Dazbog a moment to recognize that he had been spoken to, at least his cover name at least. He turned and smiled at the younger woman.
"I hope not. Getting to know one another likely means missing one another afterwards. After the colonoscopy I'll be receiving the awkwardness it going to be horrible."
Dazbog winked and chuckled at his own comment.

Castle finished up gathering his meager few belongings from his temporary apartment, and then was on his way.
He was to meet up with Captain Reynolds near Coronet Spaceport at an outdoor food court.
The thought of food made his stomach growl. It had been a while since he had eaten last. As he walked through the fairly busy streets, the throbbing in his hand began to grow noticeably. Pausing long enough to grab a few pain pills, pop them into his mouth and swallow, Castle continued onward, hoping to catch up with the Captain before he left Corellia.
Castle had the feeling that his window of opportunity to get off Corellia was getting smaller each minute he was delayed. And he certainly didn't want to stay, though there was the thought of seeing that beautiful, young doctor again...so staying behind wasn't without its perks.

As for the colonoscopy, I can promise that there will by lingering awkwardness on my part. I am fairly good at compartmentalizing my life. You as a patient are akin to who you are when we meet on the ship, but I will be slightly more inclined to believe what you say as an acquaintance than as a patient. Everybody lies. Patients most of all."

Dazbog put his hand to his heart, and gave a hurt look to Rianon.
"Not everyone lies. Just those that have reason to. I promise to be as honest as I possibly can, within reason of course. For instance, I once killed a Krayt Dragon using nothing but my pinky....toe..."
Dazbog's face showed that he was not yet done with the story, as there was a dramatic look in his eyes.
"And then I revived it by giving it CPR, and fed it chicken noodle soup until it was strong enough to live on its own. He's now married and has seven hundred kids. Nice couple."
Though it would seem like a lie, it was completely true for Dazbog.

Rianon shook her head.
"That may be true for you, old man. Not everyone's lies are outright. Most lie by omission. Refraining from telling someone something is also a lie. By that description I believe we are both liars and are likely both happy to leave it that way. I am at least."
Some things are best left unsaid. If they are to be guessed is one thing, but to outright say everything that had happened to her was a mind boggling thought for Rianon. Some things are best left unsaid and forgotten.
I order to keep her composure, Rianon changed the topic.
"You mentioned a coffee addiction. Any particular blend your favourite, or do you like them all in their own way?"

Dazbog shrugged. He tried. Still, she was right. Lying was in a sentient being's DNA. It just came naturally. He'd never met a completely honest mortal. Of course he didn't have to. He could read them all like an open book turned to the page that was their entire life.
"I prefer it black and bitter. But I love them all. It's so invigorating. And I never said addiction. I said overuse."
Dazbog smiled and tapped his finger to the tip of his nose.
"I have plenty with me. My own special blend in fact. Maybe I could make each of the crew a nice cup of coffee on the trip through hyperspace?"

In that time Tamar was off talking to another person, giving him something a data pad he was giving her something back. After this Tamara giving him a kiss on the cheek. Turning her attention to Zoe, couldn't help but smile at her. Knowing her it shouldn't be long but if you want could just have her have someone drop it by for us. Don't worry about credits it taken care of. It was amazing what could be done knowing a few dirty secret of some of the local business and families on the planet. Making her way back the way they staff letting there be heavy lending with some dragging of her feet. Only to stop and get a bag of the muffins and a large bag of coffee beans, after all she didn't know when she would have good coffee for a while. Quickly making her way back out the way they came from coming in view of the ship. It was then that her already slow pace was slower there was a gathering it would seem around the ship, great more to hide her self from. This boat she had join was getting full.

I just really need to find work, you know?" She shrugged, thinking about what to tell him about her varied skills. Besides hacking and slicing, she was also a halfway decent shot with a blaster and an OK pilot too."I'm...good with computers...if you catch my drift. *She smiled wryly as she said that. Of all her hobbies, hacking was probably the one she was best at.*"I'm OK with a blaster and I can be a pilot in a pinch, too." *And last but not least...*"Oh, and I'm Lana by the way."

== Outside the White Whiskey Distillery, Coronet City's South Side ==
He had been waiting. Four days on the rooftop of the southeast building, the shabby excuse for a cooling unity where the company kept its product before shipments. It reeked of bird excrement and mud, and the rain on the third day did little to improve the smell. But the ever-living Force was singing many notes within his mind, singing with a melody that directed him to this place after the failed chase at Bela Vistal. An empty city, devoid of their quarry, was not so much disappointing as it was a waste of time and resources.
The song of the Force was one that kept him rooted in this place, bow and quiver at the ready as he lay on his stomach. The song did not disappoint either.
The very first night, he found them. One of the night shift workers on the docks, a hard-bitten man whose body bore the shrunkeness of one who has overindulged in spice and stims, walked out in the darkened hours of night, a crate of whiskey in his hands. Tall, broad shouldered, with a face covered in tattoos- his life's story writ there for all to see in the light two levels down. A murder. Many cycles in prison. Many goods sold under the table. Smuggling. And there, between the lines, was a mark which broke through the cadence of the ever living Force which brought Aleranus to this rooftop. A dissonant note, buried in the man's neck, which matched the one above Aleranus' eye.
The convict waited for only a moment before a speeder came around the corner of the distillery building across the lane. Within the vehicle, two more sentients- humanoids definitely- waited. They spoke briefly. The worker handed over the case of alcohol. The man in the passenger side of the speeder took it, and passed on a small metal case of what were stims. Only a few words were traded and Aleranus could hear none of them. But the speeder pulled away, the bald man opened the case, and partook of a deathstick laced with spice. He reeked of the stuff and Aleranus could smell it from this high up. How the man could work, intoxicated and smelling of Kessel, he would never know. Perhaps the cold or the leaking alcohol in the building hid the stench. Perhaps the man was only a night watchman and was the only one on duty in the building during these hours? It would explain how, for the next three days, he walked out with a case of liquor for the speeder and was never caught our fired. The security cameras would also be shut down as well. It wasn't easy for Aleranus to get over the fences undetected, following the song of the Force, and to simply drive in with a speeder would've been impossible.
So on the fourth night, the swap went as it had before. The man walked out. The speeder pulled up. The cases were exchanged. And as the speeder drove away, the bald one lit his death stick.
Habits were hard to break once made. So when Aleranus stood from the corner of the building, longbow drawn and arrow in place, the man had barely taken his third puff before he sent the quiet shaft sailing through the dark.
He didn't wait to see if the arrow found its mark. The sound of metal impacting flesh reached his ears as his hook and line attached to the side of the building. The body hit the ground with his feet. Turning, he saw the bald one flailing on his side, mouth moving wordlessly, a fish gasping for water while the pain in his body was intermingled with the chemical effects of the spices.
The arrow struck true, just beside the right lung, embedded in the bone of the rib cage. Not mortal. Definitely painful.
"Where is Xi-tien?" The boy asks. He turns the bald one on his back.
"D-! D-!" The man's mind is entering shock. No useful information leaves it as Aleranus binds the man's hands in place.
"Where is the Sith demon, Xi-tien?" The seconds are ticking by. He snaps the shaft from the arrowhead, leaving the point buried in the man's chest to keep the blood from spreading.
"N-! H-!"
There are only a few hours until the sun rises, and he will not be able to move the bald one from the warehouse to the temple in broad daylight. Not without being stopped by the authorities. Not before the man is taken into custody or worse, to a public hospital. And he will not be in any mood to talk until the spice leaves his system.
It is a three hour run to the Jedi temple, when unladen. Aleranus unfastens his master's lightsaber, activates it, cuts a circular hole in the linked fence across the lane with its bright green blade. He strings his bow, fastens his lightsaber. Kicks the bald man in the temple. Then, like a sack of so many potatoes, hoists the bald man over his shoulders, and begins to run...

Nathan paused for a moment, dumbstruck at the peculiar request. He shifts on his feet, formulating the best way to respond."I uh...well that was certainly outta the blue. What kind of work are you looking for? I run a...small, perfectly legitimate business enterprise with me crew. Several of which are being gathered up here. You explain to me what it is you are looking for and what skill set you can offer up that will benefit us as a whole and I will consider bringing you in with us. Does that work for you...miss...uh..sorry I didn't catch your name?"As he waited for her response, he glanced around. Hopefully he could get to meeting with Mr. Castle and then get back to Serenity and leave. He was starting to get the itch of wanting to be back up in the void. *Lana smiled apologetically, knowing she had kind of put him on the spot with that one.*"Yeah, sorry if that was completely out of nowhere. Of all her hobbies, hacking was probably the one she was best at.*"I'm OK with a blaster and I can be a pilot in a pinch, too." *And last but not least...*"Oh, and I'm Lana by the way." Nathan grinned, in spite of himself. This woman that he had by chance, bumped into was an experienced hacker, a decent shot with a pistol and an alright pilot in a tight spot. She certainly was well versed in many skills he'd find handy to have on his boat. And she was quite attractive, too. Always an added bonus when the crew he assembled was skilled and good looking. Made good impressions on folks. After mentally reviewing what she had listed off, several times to himself, Nathan finally spoke."That is quite the resume there, Lana. It's a pleasure to meet you. I am Captain Nathan Reynolds of the Wayfarer Class ship, Serenity. Now, the skill set that you possess, would make you none too friendly with our lovely CorSec officers, correct? Makes you a person that needs to always be on the move, and we never stop moving. Seems to me that we could come to a mutually beneficial arrangement. Ever been up in a Wayfarer?" He grinned slyly at her. Her slight shake of the head was all the indication he needed."Wanna?"And with that, Nathan awaited her response, hoping she'd be willing to join his crew.
