Gaiscioch Dearg exited the personal quarters aboard the NOE Star Destroyer and was greeted by the usual "whooshing" noise that accompanied the mechanical doors opening. The sudden light of the starships hallways burned his eyes, he was spending too much time in the darkness of late. After a few moments of blindness the Sith Lord began to make his way to the bridge. He had been in orbit over the planet of Kuat for hours now, and he was tired of waiting for some sort of signal or clue. Someone had sent him that cryptic message to meet here. Whether it was An Tiarna Dubh himself, or an enemy using one of the few names that could lure him here Gaiscioch did not know. He intended to find out soon though. He had tried being patient as he knew he should be, but it grew tiresome waiting and waiting. Clearly whomever was down there was not going to give him hints or instructions or even a polite greeting. So Gaiscioch Dearg would... politely... go down and greet this mystery host himself. If it truly was An Tiarna Dubh then he would hear the man out. Obviously he had some form of reason for leaving the known galaxy then returning again, and the Sith Lord had to admit; he was curious as to what that reason was. What was that man planning? Another glorious war as was seen in the old days? Another attempt at the more subtle forms of war? Gaiscioch Dearg was not pleased when his old master had turned the Iron Fists into more of a secret service, or police force in the galaxy. Some were fine with that life, Gaisicoch Dearg needed more than that. The wild, chaotic form of war was what he both craved and needed. There was a bloodlust in him, one that he could feel even know after the thousands he had murdered. A hunger that had developed when he was a child and hot not been sated once in his life. Dearg shook himself, clearing his thoughts. They often became unfocused when allowing that lust to creep up inside of him, and he needed a clear head right now.
The gargantuan Sith Lord entered the bridge and noted with satisfaction the way it seemed to freeze for a moment. Most did when he entered a space. Crew members not involved in something absolutely vital, such as keeping the ship on its perfect course, bowed low as he made his way to the head of the bridge. Once he stood before the large viewports that allowed him to view the infinite space before him he stopped and glared. Glared at the small ball that was Kuat. Was An Tiarna Dubh truly down there? Either way he would know soon. There was a few orders that needed to be given before Gaiscioch Dearg could leave. He wouldn't want his people causing a galactic incident while he was gone after all. A few of his acolytes were... "prone" to getting bored and misbehaving if left alone too long. That incident with the drinking water on Muun had come close to sparking a full scale war. A bit of harmless fun really, and his students had learned a lot about waterborne disease. The local government however had been less than impressed. Lady Tanith truly had lost her sense of humour since the old days hadn't she? There was to be no slip ups this time. Gaiscioch Dearg wanted privacy and no interruptions while he dealt with.. whatever was down on that blasted planet! Hopefully this would be quick. He hadn't checked in with the Order in some time, and they tended to get suspicious when Lords of the Order disappeared for too long. Something about the attempted murder of two of the Dark Lords of Pzob. Dearg didn't understand their consternation... they had lived hadn't they?
*The Lord of Destruction turned and faced the crew on his bridge, which also happened to include a handful of his highest ranking students, or acolytes. His emotions were in check, and in control now. He was once more the figure of authority and control*
My apprentices, you will have control over the ship while I depart for Kuat. With the exception of Korim who shall accompany me to meet my contact. *No one aboard the ship had any idea that Gaiscioch Dearg was clueless as to who was on Kuat waiting for him. They all assumed that he was here by his own design* The rest of you will remain to ensure safety of this ship and monitor the happenings going on in this system. I will want a full report on ship movements in the area. Also; the people I am meeting are dangerous. Old... arguments may arise and if the worst should happen.. *Dearg slipped a tracking beacon into a pouch on his belt* ...you will fire upon my location. Obliterate all in the area. Your escape will depend on your own thinking after you strike a Dark Tide planet.
Gaisicoch Dearg left out the fact that he seriously doubted the success of their escape in that event. With a Dark Tide fleet stationed here and the Kuati Drive Yards pumping out warships like a Twi'lek schutta there a massive amount of battle ready starships in the area. If his ship did fire upon the planet, it would be obliterated in a matter of minutes. He also decided to leave out the fact that any "accidents" involving firing upon him when he was in do danger would be harshly punished. His acolytes were rapidly becoming true Sith, but they were not ready to surpass him just yet. Their last attempted murder of him ended up costing him two apprentices. Slain by his own blade. They had thought him weak, all alone on Pzob, and had tried to ambush him. Bold, but stupid. Gaiscioch Dearg had overpowered them in the end. Two died as an example to the others. Gaiscioch Dearg entered the hanger bay with his Acolyte in tow. They would make their way down via shuttle and start their search. He would land where the message originated from and work his out from there. He would find whatever was down there eventually. He had time to spare, and if time bred impatience then there was plenty on this world he could kill in secret. Answers were not hard to come by and minds were easily wiped. His prey would not be able to hide from him for long. Even if it was An Tiarna Dubh himself. Of course he had no reason to hide from him if his message was true. If his message was not true... Gaiscioch Dearg eased the axe in his belt off and on again. He still held a certain.. fondness for the man, but would not stop him from killing the man if provoked...

The sprawling industry of the Drive Yards buzzed with the usual frenzied activity of construction, massive ships in various states of repair, from skeletal bones of capital ships, to the neatly finished hulls of corvettes, the place was a hive of activity. Even from a distance the sense of movement was apparent. Little spots could be seen drifting across the hull of the mighty ships and the bright glare of arc welders, blazing little stars against the matte-grey of the various hulls, twinkled merrily. Savage looking patrol ships skirted the edges of the shipyards, hawk-like in their intent.
Closer to the planet drifted the Dark Tide flotilla, warily watching every bit of traffic in the system. They had challenged the unidentified Star Destroyer as soon as it entered the system, the ATC inquiring as to the ships intent in the system. Cautioned to remain stationary and to state their intentions, the ship now faced the cannons of half a dozen Star Destroyers captained by suspicious men. With the galaxy aflame with the events of the Mandalorian attack on Yavin IV things were tense everywhere and no system was taking chance with errant warships drifting around without any explanation to the appropriate authorities. It was true that contact had been established by the rogue ship but no communication with the ATC or the DT fleet had been established. Two hours had passed. Two hours would usually mean that the ship would have been destroyed but, due to the transition of the site, we'll let that go and begin from here... Caed paced the deck of the Dismal Yew, a Nebula-Class Star Destroyer that sat at the point of a triangle of Dark Tide ships. Not long back from Gyndine and still baffled as to Sinisra's whereabouts, the Sith Assassin fairly reeked of controlled anger. His yellow eyes blazed forth their molten fury as he swung back to stare out of the viewports as the silent Star Destroyer. Dressed in his usual attire of black jumpsuit and black cloak, hair hanging down to his shoulders, angular, severely handsome features, he looked the part of Dark Lord. Aristocratic and stern. Noble and severe. Savage.
With a nasty snarl he spoke, grinding out his words, chewing on every syllable."Captain Haas... Would you once again inform that idiot that comm silence is unacceptable at this time and to state their intentions immediately." Sounding like an afterthought and in a nonchalant tone the Dark Lord of the Abyss added."Or the ship will be destroyed. They have five minutes." As Captain Haas went about the order, transmitting the message directly to the ship, Caed turned and made his way to the back of the bridge and the sensor station. Scans were being run on the suspicious ship and Caed was interested in what the sensor officer had discovered.

The stirrings of the Force interrupted Caed's annoyed scrutiny of the chrono as the seconds ticked down on his five minute deadline. His eyes grew unfocused as he analyzed the feeling, knowing that it came from a great distance, a galaxy-spanning alert of some sort. A slow smile spread across his angular features as he divined what it meant, knowing that another lost soul may be returning to the fold of the Dark Tide. He had prepared for this eventuality, his sanctum down on the planet ready for the ritual that would send his form across the spans of space to where he could influence events to his liking. Let his minions deal with this foolish ship while he moved his pawns from the comfort of the estate.
"Captain, you have the bridge."
He turned and stalked away, feeling the relief of the crew that they be spared his thunderous presence. The only one not to sigh with relief was Captain Haas, something that both annoyed and amused Caed. That the man had a staunch enough backbone was commendable but somewhat foolish. Fear could be a useful ally in keeping one alive and Haas would need to learn that lesson should he seek to remain in his place, remain in this life. Still, it was comforting to know that a ruthless bastard commanded your flagship.
As the mighty ships of the Kuat home fleet faced off against the intruder, their stalemate slowly ticking down its count, a shuttle left the hangar of the Dismal Yew, dropping into the cloudy atmosphere of the planet and heading towards the seat of the Dark Tide...

Another of Gaiscioch Dearg's Acolytes, Asif, rubbed his temples as the barely hidden hostilities were received from the Dark Tide flotilla It seems as if not all of the Dark Tide are in communications with each other. You'd think one of the leaders would have let them know that an old friend of theirs was stopping by for a meeting. No matter, if our automatic hailing frequency isn't enough then we shall send a personal message. There are to be NO interruptions here! The Lord of Destruction requires privacy for what is to come.
The two other Dark Students of the Force nodded in agreement and the bridge crew hastened to obey. Those controlling the ships communications began to prepare a channel that would beam the upcoming message to planets drive yards and defending fleet. No one aboard the ship particularly wanted to fight, or flee, from the ships that were turning towards them. They were only one Star Destroyer after all, and while the Captain had seen combat and was not unskilled; he would never be able to get them out alive if those vessels opened fire. After a few moments the channel was ready and opened. Asif stepped forward and spoke..
Friends in the Dark Tide this is the Star Destroyer "Baras", we are hear for a meeting approved by the Dark Tide. We have made zero threatening moves towards your ships, planet, or place of business and do not intend to. By the word of Gaiscioch Dearg, we are here as long it takes for the meeting to take place. After which we will leave peacefully.
The Dark Acolyte shook his head and signaled the bridge crew to take the ship in a wide arc. It would keep them close to the rendezvous point but make it clear they were non-threatening. It galled the Dark Acolytes to be playing nice. They contemplated calling for reinforcements and seeing what the great Dark Tide would do then. Gaiscioch Dearg would kill them for it though.. his old friend was with the Dark Tide and attacking them would be unspeakable. So, to keep up public relations, and their lives, the acolytes played by the rules and kept themselves clean...

The countdown had ticked to less than thirty seconds when the transmission to come in prompting Haas to ponder whether this had been done on purpose to show a lack of respect, or whether there was some interference causing problems. The other ship obviously though them cleared to be here, invited even. This was news to Haas and the wily Captain wondered briefly whether his Maser had known all along who the intruder was and was perhaps engaging in one of his cryptic, Sithy tests. The Star Destroyer Captain growled under his breath as he signaled for the ship to stand down from general quarters and made his way over to the comm.
Star Destoryer Baras. This is Captain Haas of the Dismal Yew. I'm afraid I know nothing of your "Approval" to be in this system and my Master never said anything about a meeting. Perhaps it has been lost in the shuffle. The extra security in the system due to the Drive Yards being here can often complicate matter but, as stated, we have had no hostile intent from you or yours...
He frowned slightly, knowing he was overstepping his authority somewhat with this next decision.
You are free to go about your business here. Please maintain your orbit and inform us of any deviations in your flight path. Do not approach the Drive Yards as they have their own security measures and even I am not privy to who comes and goes there. We will be on hand should you need any assistance. Welcome to Kuat.
He closed the mic and turned to the viewport as most of the other ships drifted away to their designated patrols. The Dismal Yew remained on station, facing the Baras in geosynchronous orbit.

*A long range transmission beams through hyperspace, to the Kuat Drive Yards Facility. There is the distinct sound of laughter in the background and the chatter of people having a good time, along with the occasional cough. Giggling slightly, the young man on the other end begins to speak.*
::Shhhh, shut the fuck up guys!...Ahem. I am calling on behalf of the Onyx Star security group. I need a rather large order filled...Cody, hand me that pad...Khmm, yes well, I need to order 15 LAAT's, 40 AT-TE's, 175 TX-130T fighter tank's, 400 Clone Personal Walker's, 30 AT-AA's, and 50 AT-ST/A Walkers. That concludes the ground vehicle portion of my order. Now for the ships. I need to order 6 Ardent frigates, 2 Acclamator I, and 6 Lancer Frigate's*bubbling noise during a short pause followed by a deep exhale.* And two Victory II's. I do know this is a large order and may take some time, so as a measure of good faith I will wire the first half of the money into your companies account *cough cough* and the other half upon completion. When the order is complete, please reach us on this frequency and we can set up a delivery location. Thank you and have a nice day.::
*Shortly after the order was left, the transmission stays open just long enough for them to take down the frequency before it closes and communications cease.*

The relative silence of Space around Kuat was suddenly torn asunder. Out from the blizzard like visuals of Hyperspace shot a black Stealth-X. It had taken awhile to get here, what with stops for fuel and food...No man should go without a sandwich.. The quiet oily miasma that was this mans aura floated around him and his snub fighter like a thick smoke. His flight suit was black, as was his helmet....I mean how could they not be? He opened a channel to Kuat Traffic Control
Kuat Control. This is Cruor. I am here to see Caed.
He brooked zero argument from his tone, his voice sounding like oil on water...Slick and quiet. Slimy. He waited patiently.

It wasn't long before the Stealth-X was joined by another, larger ship. It was a beat-up Firespray-31 Patrol ship with haphazard orange and black coloration. Slade sat inside, hands at the controls as he eased it towards Cruor's ship. He relayed landing codes from his inboard comlink, and sat back as he waited, occupying himself with a piece of bantha jerky he had picked up from the Galactic Stop and Munch just off the Outer Rim Beltway. It was salty and foul, but it was exactly what you'd expect from the largest convenience store chain in the galaxy. Nevertheless, Slade just sat, chewed his jerky, and waited.

He didn't have to wait long. The reply came back almost immediately, as if someone had been expecting his arrival and had left orders for such an eventuality. The air traffic controllers voice was bored and nonchalant, the heavy traffic of the Kuat system lending such a job to the mundane and everyday. The ATC center was vastly different from the fleet assets when it cam to security as the ATC trusted the fleet to do most of their job for them. Indeed, even as the comm crackled to life the Dismal Yew was drifting over, scanners intent on the new arrivals, noting that the second ship had arrived from the exact same vector as the first.
You are to head down to the Estate of the Ten and await Lord Maas. Approach vector transmitting now. Welcome to Kuat.
True to the speakers word codes flashed up on the navicomputers of both ships, a path down the well and to the headquarters of the Dark Tide...

Clicking a 'Got It' confirmation, he began his decent, heading for the Head Quarters of Dark Tide. This was a name he never thought he would be working for, but certain things having come to light, he figured it was time to come out of the shadows. At least partially. No one knew him, and that was just the way he liked it. He idly wondered if the Mandalorians would remember the lone female Mando he killed so long ago now.....

Alright, lets see what all this fuss is about.
After receiving his instructions, Slade followed Cruor down towards the planet. It was curious... It had been a very long time since he had followed Cruor on one of these adventures. As he relaxed in his pilot's chair, Slade hoped that this one would be much less painful than the last.

The star destroyer that had brought Gaiscioch Dearg to Kuat had been following the rules. Their flight path had not deviated from a slow orbit around the planet, and any course correction had been reported to Drive Yards. Peace on the massive star destroyer had been kept by the acolytes of the Lord of Destruction, even if it meant the promise of death to any that disturbed said peace. Finally after a day and a half of orbiting the planet, word came from the two men planet side. The shuttle was on its way back, and the destroyer was to prepare to leave the system. The excitement on the ship was palpable. No one wanted to be here, and even worse, no one wanted them here either. Kuat had already made it clear in their message that they were not welcome. That and everyone was curious as to where a lord of the Order of the Eye would take them next. Life was not boring when one of them took over the ship. No, something always happened. The ransacking of a Jedi world, the hostile take over of another Sith's resources. Epic battles between two large navies. No, everyone was eager to move on from floating nicely around this planet. This made for a very swift departure once the shuttle docked with the destroyer. The appropriate niceties were sent to Kuat, and the ship then took itself a safe distance and jumped to hyperspace...

*A Sentinel-class shuttle exits hyperspace in the Kuat system, far enough away as to not unsettle the vigourous defence fleet in protecting both the planet and the Drive Yards. It begins its approach in one of the designated commercial space lanes, and its IFF transponder would show it to be the "Golden Ratio", a old government vessel hailing from Agamar. Once receiving verbal enquiry from Kuat, the pilot would broadcast the following.*
=Captain Garvin= ::Kuat Drive Yards, this is Captain Garvin of the Golden Ratio, requesting permission to dock to discuss purchases from your establishment. My home world finds itself in need of a more robust defence system, and your products are highly recommended. We await confirmation and landing co-ordiantes. Over::

The Dark Tide fleet in orbit scanned the newcomer, listened to the message, then promptly ignored the call. The long-standing agreement with the Drive Yards meant that any such person requesting their services be left alone to do business with the establishment and not be drawn into any shenanigans of the Sith Faction. Still, the Dismal Yew, a Nebula-Class Star Destroyer, continued to keep the shuttle under observation, guns trained on the craft in case it should decide to cause a scene.
The Drive Yards likewise scanned and listened, each controller imagining his counterpart doing the same. It was a strange stand-off at times but one that served to keep the Drive Yards independent of the faction that owned its rights, enabling them to sell to any and all should the credits be plentiful. As with all inquiries the databases were kicked into activity as the staff of the massive facility attempted to find out if said customer did in fact have the means to do business with them. The shuttles transponder would be checked and the home system analysed to see if they did indeed have the resources to shop here. It was only a short check, the more thorough investigation taking place when the customer presented themselves to the sellers directly.
The controller nodded as a green light appeared on his console, indicating that the shuttle be allowed to proceed even though the check may or may not have indicated a planet of origin. It could be a fake transponder for example so it would be remiss for me to post any such acquiring of knowledge from such a check. It was easier to sift through such things later I suppose.
The controller activated his comm...
Attention shuttle Golden Ratio, you are cleared to dock in hangar seven-seven-two. Followed the docking procedure and check in. The customer inquiries offices are located adjacent to the dock. Welcome to Kuat.
A beacon was soon painted on the shuttles display, guiding it through the sprawling complex of docks to the indicated hangar.

*As the Golden Ratio turns and begins its approach to Kuat Drive Yards along the designated vector, Captain Garvin acknowledged the KDY response.*
::Thanks Control. Proceeding to hanger seven-seven-two as directed. Golden Ratio out::

The rush of hyperspace dumped the 3-Z freighter out on the fringe of the Kuat system. It maneuvered towards the planet, submitting clearance codes before the communications relays could even get a read on the newly arrived ship. They did not bother the small craft further as the codes submitted belonged to one person only.

Out of the hyperspace plain dropped a single Sentinel-class landing craft making it's way for Kuat. Before they even bothered to ask, the pilot transmitted a set of clearance codes to flight control identifying himself as friendly before preceding to his destination.

A Fury-Class Imperial Interceptor drops from Hyperspace in the Kuat system and heads in towards the world surrounded by the orbiting Kuat Drive Yards. A comm signal is sent to planetary control requesting landing clearance for the Estate of the Ten.
This is the Sith vessel Callous, enroute to Estate of the Ten.
Piloting the vessel himself is Lord Apoplex, and his final destination : Dark Tide.
