And thats when it hit. The storm of the century. The day which had been clear not seconds before opened up and went from blue to black in almost the blink of the eye. It seemed like someone upstairs was really fucking mad. In addition to the thunder and lightning which rocked the inside of Xeonons skull it was the rain. It came down almost as if they were inside a river, lake or ocean. Just one huge dropping at the start, coming at them from the right like a sheet of pain. It hit the duo, like a wave which may or may not help Xeonon.
You see most lightsabers are not made to be waterproof. Sure they can stand up to some light rain but this... well this was not some pussy ass light rain. As such it was a safe bet that unless Crours lightsabers were made specifically to be waterproof that the orange would be gone. This is another perk of being an Imperial Knight; all of their lightsabers are made to be waterproof its just something they did.
Now it looks like Xeonon had inferred wrong, he had assumed that the body was simply in front of him but alas when shit isn't said its always easy to shift a body. Any who force speed could make one go faster but stronger it did not do. As the arm met the resistance of Crours it kept going straight and true, the servo motors and machine bits keeping it from moving out of its path. Its aim still dead on, the repulse to the center of the chest was still coming.
Just as Crours enhanced speed was working so was Xeonons enhanced brain. Trakata was a dirty underhanded thing to be used, it makes sense that a Sith would use it. Mixed with the adrenaline the speed enhanced brain things seemed to be moving slightly slower than normal. Bending at the knees Xeonon could hear the swoosh of the blade as it went overhead. With his silver blade which was still on and working (and hopefully the duck had been for naught due to the rain hopefully shorting out the orange blade); he went to cut the Siths arm off at the elbow. His body now facing Crours so they were face to face again.

Couple of pointsBack and forth at the start was amusing. Would say that there's a lot more to the Force Camouflage that was stated. In my experience a skilled user would merge their presence into the flow of the Force, similar to the way the Fallanassi merge themselves, or their surroundings, into the White Current (The Force) to hide. Cruor specified that he suppressed his own aura. Unless you were looking VERY hard I doubt that such a "Void" would be noticed. He is, in effect, preventing his aura from interacting with the Force around him and therefore would make himself very hard to sense. It is my opinion that Xeo would not have sensed Cruor, or been able to no matter how hard he tried. Its not like a Vong or an Ysalmiri. I would caution that stating that someone is sensed would qualify as a hit-call to me and, had Cruor been more specific in his explanation, I would have judged it as such. Careful with that Xeo. I'm probably being a bit hard on Cruor with that as the technique is possibly well documented but I'm all for describing what you were doing in each action thoroughly to avoid any such inconsistencies. Will also make a quick point about grammar. You know how fastidious I am for such things and while typos and spelling mistakes wont throw a fight it grinds my gears. Proof read your posts lazies. AnalysisCruor scores a hit for the Force Push At point blank range it probably would have done more damage but there was no serious build up or towering anger to fuel it so I'll let that go. Maybe a hit with the Force Rend? It was interrupted but pain was caused even if not serious damage was done. Half a point I guess. lol. Good use of projected fighting and honest reaction from Xeo in having never encountered it before. A lot of people would be blase in their insistence that their character knows ever form of Force use their opponent would throw at them. You are to be commended on that even though its another hit for Cruor. Nice use of Force Blinding and would have likely been effective if it had not been negated by Cruors brilliant post cut. The post cut should be an art unto itself at times and I do love to see it employed to the effectiveness that was demonstrated here. Good recovery from Xeo in his post. The block of the kick was effective so, despite the impact, there was no hit there. Good mention of environment in the stumble and well done for getting back on track with the previous attack, and for adjusting it due to the different position. Another hit for Cruor with the kick to the back and more excellent hit taking by Xeo. Your losing the fight but by damned are you making it a realistic read. Very descriptive in the collision with the floor and interesting use of a weapon I haven't come across for a while. Good spatial awareness by Cruor. I had to think about the front flip for a moment but what you wrote made sense on the second read. Nicely done. I'll give another half a hit for the bullet exploding into shrapnel on the saber blade. Its a technical block but part of that weapons effectiveness is in such damage so at least half a hit should be given. An argument could be made for a whole hit but considering I didn't award Cruor a hit for the blocked projected roundhouse I think I'm being fair. Another hit taken, perhaps unnecessarily so. A few of these could have been avoided and, while its commendable for you to take such hit, I'd much rather see a creative avoidance. Seems like your taking hits willy nilly now and perhaps have lost the enthusiasm you had at the start? Or perhaps you are genuinely being out-written. Either way its beginning to become pretty one sided to my eyes. Good advance from you Cruor, not giving him time to set or even utter a phrase. Like the way your gearing up for your end game. I will say that Cruor did actually state he was "In front of Xeo and to the left" so I have no problem with the statement that Xeo's repulsor wielding hand would have to come across the body, even though Xeo seems to think, from his last post, that such a position wasn't stated. The use of Trakata probably should have ended the fight, though it is possible that Xeo could have ducked under it. Force Speed can be countered to an extend with a Force users natural precognition ability and perhaps you would have been better served to react with that Xeo? ConclusionThere was only one winner and that is Cruor. Xeo wrote a very good duel all round and I congratulate you on that. You made it very believable and took some good hits in there. You also took some bad ones where, for me, a relatively simple counter could have been employed. Cruor, you kept him on the back foot in close and at range, fighting a really fluid and competent duel. Perhaps a bit more description in your posts would be good to see? There's a lot to be said for keeping it simple and direct, short posts to avoid confusion and post cutting, but a bit of filler, depth, and drama wouldn't go amiss. Congratulations Cruor.
