Over the next several months, Vera spent much of her time, not training or practicing with the other Protectors, at the Spaceport. She worked with the more skilled ship builders with applying her newly acquired tech. The result was the first Gaanaylir-class Light Star Destroyer. Her absence had been noticed, something that sort of peeved Galaar, but knowing what she was doing, was also understanding at the same time. As the Star Destroyer was being built at the Spaceport, he came to see the work being done as the Mandalorian was rather intrigued by the work that Vera was dedicated to. Strange that she seemed attached to this ship more so than the Protectors... her old man was certainly one that cared more about fighting. Seemed Vera was more into spacecraft than her father.
His hovercar drifted over, landing just outside the area where the vessel was being worked on. Galaar's presence was immediately noticed by the ship builders and they all knew who he was looking for. All helmets and gestures pointed to where Vera was working. His armored feet were soon heard approaching her. Galaar removed his helmet only when the Mandalorian knew it was safe. You really are attached to this vessel, aren't you, Vera? His rough voice spoke as Galaar looks up at the warship being built.

Vera looks up from the sheet of metal she was welding. Even though she had provided a bit of the inspiration, and could easily be overseeing the project, she wished to help build the thing with her own two hands. Every time she saw the ship just a little more put together her eyes would sparkle that much brighter. That was hers, she had done that. For generations to come, her name would be remembered in this ship. But now she was worried of the 'talking to' she was about the receive. She imagined it would be similar to the ones she'd get on the farm, when she'd go out stargazing instead of watering the such-and-such or feeding the whatever. But all the same when she lifted the welders mask it reveiled her sparkling eyes and smile. Also likely one of the first times Galaar had seen her out of her beskar'gam, he'd notice her youth and the muscular body only able to be forged by being an only child on a farm.
You bet I am! Imagine all the work she will do for the Protectors! And I get to help make it! She seemed to suddenly realize she was speaking to her Clan Leader. Quickly she tried to wipe off her face to seem more presentable. This had the opposite effect as her hands were filthy. But she didn't seem to notice and snapped a quick salute. I'm sorry I've been cutting out of drills early. I just gotta see this done. Ya know?

Vera didn't need to get all proper with him, the Aliit'ator. You know this means you owe double time with your drills when this is done right? This was both meant to be a joke and seriousness. He understood her dedication to this ship, but Galaar viewed Vera as the best propsect to be the prime member of the Protectors and, perhaps, one day, the one who would succeed at leading the Mandalorian Protectors one day. The ship needed to be built, but she couldn't delay her drills once it was finished. The Mandalorian wouldn't give her too much bother though till the ship was finished. When do you think the ship will be ready though? He asks, indicating the docked warship.

Vera gave a sheepish laugh at the Aliit'ator's comment about double time. But her eyes once more turned to the hulk of metal.
The lead engineers say it she's already space worthy. Just getting some finishing touches. Shouldn't be more than a couple days before she's ready. Then the Protectors will get their favorite punching bag back full time. She gave another soft laugh. Was their anything else I could do to help you, Sir?

Galaar continues looking up at the ship as Vera spoke.Nothing that really comes to mind, but...The Fett looks back down at her....once you are done, I really need you to focus on your Protector training and duties when this is done. Your father left you with a good head on your shoulders and I intend to utilize it, Vera. You have potential and the Defense Corps could use that.Galaar had no kids of his own, being a hunter made it impossible to consider marriage. At this point, Vera was a prime candidate. She came from a respected branch of the clan, her father's reputation still had weight, and she had proven herself during the Lianna raid and with the construction of this ship. Galaar intended to mold her into something more than just a Protector.Seriously though, who knows when we will be called once more. Assembly is still eyeing planets for prospects and we are getting reports of factions closing in on our borders and it isn't the Imperials this time.

Vera blushed as Galaar complimented her. She was proud of her father, and was glad others saw the influence he had on her. And she nodded, affirming her commitment to the Protectors.
I'll be ready, don't you worry. While this ship is an amazing project, I'm still a Protector first. Though with the connections and skills I've learned will also hopefully help the Protectors. And even though I'm still new, I'm ready to face any challenge you have for me!

The Corellian corvette Hadrian docked at the large and heavily defended spaceport, arriving at the platform they had been designated. Once it had landed, after a few moments a group excited from the ship. First was a Falleen male, Xon Sul , the Minister's personal bodyguard and trusted confidant. Next, was Alla Velar, his Chief of Staff, third was the Minister himself, and fourth was another young aide, a human named Benden Orro, who had only recently joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The group approached the escort that had been sent, presumably to take them to the Aliit'alor.

It wasn't true beskar, but the metal worked fine for Journeyman Protectors. However, the one individual, that stood out, due to his red-brown honor sash around his waist was suited in the Mandalorian iron. Typical of officers to be granted the privilege. The officer nods to his men who approached the Coalition delegation. The officer turned and pointed to a skiff.=Journeyman Protector= Come. That was all the Mandalorian said before heading that way.

A ship, the Burcyan, departed that morning, heading for Concord Dawn's orbit and, from there, to the Myrkr system. Galaar Fett, along with a number of his chosen guard and lieutenants, looked up with their T-visor helmets on and off their heads. They watched till the ship was nothing more than a speck in the sky. Once its blue engine light vanished, the Alor looked down some before turning to one of his trusted warriors.
How many?
Fett inquires as the commander hands him a datapad of names that signed up for their tickets and got their personal luggage checked for departure. A small silence endured as Galaar reviewed the names of fathers, mothers, daughters, sons, brothers, sisters, and many other kinsmen who took the time to weigh the options and choose the next course of action.
=Commander= A total of seven hundred and eleven men and women answered the call.
The Mandalorian clarifies to his Alor. Galaar glances at the list before turning the datapad off. He hands it back to his subordinate.
Ensure their names are logged. If any fall in battle, we must ensure their kin are alerted and bodies properly returned.
That was all Galaar was to say on the subject. They would not be branded as anything beyond an expeditionary force and a volunteer corps. These warriors sought new fronts to fight on and enemies to defeat. It would be in the pursuit of personal glory and achievement, but would also reflect on one's family and the clan as a whole. Galaar knew they would come back as seasoned warriors, thriving as champions or honored as the dead.

*Jasper groaned as he regained consciousness. He blinked blurry eyes, his voice croaking out a question.* “W-where am I?” The first thing that Jasper saw when he regained consciousness was a couple of medic droids which were examining him and seeing to his health. One of the droids noticed Jasper awakening and rolled off, calling for the individuals who had brought them. The commander of the detachment, and two Journeyman, walked into the room next with the officer approaching Jasper first.=Officer= You are in Jai'galaar's Spaceport. It has the closest infirmary that was readily available. The officer tells Jasper.=Officer= Tell me, Jasper Fett, for the record, I must ask why you were out there.

“I was searching for Galaar Fett, but I got turned around out there. I was told by an informant that—*The teen coughed away from the officer and two journeymen, teeth slightly chattering as another wave of fever induced chills wracked his muscular frame. He continued*—“that Galaar had recently frequented this area. I need to find him! I think...he is the last of my living relatives...” *The lad moved into a sitting position, the fact he was ill and in no condition to walk around, escaping his stubborn notice.*

He continued*—“that Galaar had recently frequented this area. I need to find him! I think...he is the last of my living relatives...” *The lad moved into a sitting position, the fact he was ill and in no condition to walk around, escaping his stubborn notice.* The commander's eyebrow went up slight at this desire to meet with Galaar Fett. He looks over at a medical attendant who shrugs their shoulders. It is well known that their Alor was a distant cousin of the main Fett line, descended from a branch that thrived on Dxun since after the time of Mandalore the Ultimate. The only 'known' relative was his blood-brother, the late Cassus Fett. Still, this was curious that Jasper believed this to be a truth to his heritage.
A medical droid quickly wheels over and begins to protest in beeps and whistles, urging Jasper to lie down as its mechanical arms extend and attempt to keep Jasper on the bed. The commander takes a step back before speaking.=Commander= I will... relay this to the Legate, Jasper Fett. In the mean time, please stay and rest.

*Jasper nodded weakly and made himself more comfortable. Feeling relieved that they would relay his message, the teen breathed a sigh of relief. Now he needed to focus on getting better so that he could meet with Galaar in the near future.*
“Th-thanks…”
*He gave the journeymen a small smile with heartfelt gratitude shining in his eyes.*

Given the condition of Jasper Fett, his desired audience was put on hold unto the young Mandalorian was able to remotely walk again. That and the Alor Fett was a rather busy man as both clan leader and Legate of the MDC. Nonetheless, the report was made and Galaar did his personal investigation into the background of this visitor to Jai'galaar. Medical reports were routinely given to the Alor. When the medical attendant gave a report, about two weeks later, of the stable condition and renewed strength of the patient, the Legate decided to make his visit.
Jasper Fett had been moved to another facility to help with his renewal. He had been in such a weakened state after all that the medical experts wanted to make sure that he was a hundred percent ready to leave. After one of his physicals, the door hissed opened and Galaar Fett walked in. The Mandalorian removes his helmet after entering and gives his undivided attention to Jasper.
I am still not entirely sure whether to call you a fool for risking your health or bold for making such a trek.
Galaar states as he exhales. The young were a reckless bunch and that energy needed to be better focused. It was one thing to risk one's life on the battlefield and another to risk it on a trek. To die with a blaster in hand vs. to die from pushing one's limit.
Yet you came, seeking me on the estimation that we are related? All Fetts and Mandalorians are related, Jasper.
Galaar looks down at his helmet.
Aliit ori'shya tal'din
The Alor mutters before turning his attention to Jasper once more.
Why have you come to find me beyond visiting your kin?

Behind his his large, opaque goggles, Ga'ab raised his eyebrow at the approaching skiff and, in his opinion, the unusually high number of T-visored Mandalorians that road atop it. He could almost feel Rygal's brow furrow as the Skiff came to a stop and the Mandos disembarked. "Easy, boys." Advised Ga'ab in a hushed tone. Rygal whose dark eyes were already scanning the area, imperceptibly looking for escape routes. "I don't like this.." There was a soft click from Rygal's carbine as he turned off the safety. For their part, the Gamorrean boars simply puffed up their chests which paradoxically made them larger targets. "Oh no you don't," Ga'ab whispered harshly back to his Ryn friend. "I wanted to avoid Mandalorian space. You're the one who insisted we go to them for armament. We're here. No use getting your tail twisted over it now." Ga'ab stepped forward to meet the principle Mandalorian and his retainers. "Well well well, Chieftain, armorer, conversationalist.. And I was worried that we wouldn't have enough time to see all of Concord Dawn's sights, and here we've ticked three off the tourist list." Rygal, shot Ga'ab at an irritated look before speaking directly to Fett. "We're looking to outfit a small militia with the firepower that'll give raide.." Ga'ab put a hand on his friend's shoulder before cutting him off. "But that's a bit below your pay grade ehh Allitor? Now I came here looking for a weapon-smith to custom make me a pair of your Westar-35 blaster pistols, with some slight modifications. I've got my design notes here." As he finished speaking he produced a flimsiplast document. The flimsiplast had a series of poorly drawn illustrations and accompanying annotations that described a custom-blaster pistol capable of firing short-brutal bursts of high intensity blaster-fire at short range. There was a note to include a second trigger for the middle-finger to increase fire-rate with allowances for increases in the weight and size of the pistols to compensate for their ability to ideally melt metal and personal shields in a single withering flurry of destruction. Perhaps the most interesting modification however was a hair-brained scheme to mimic a jedi's ability to call objects to their hands. Specifically, there was a request that the pistols somehow be magnetized and controlled via additionally designed gauntlets that can summon the pistols to the user's hands from their holsters or from up to several meters away.

Specifically, there was a request that the pistols somehow be magnetized and controlled via additionally designed gauntlets that can summon the pistols to the user's hands from their holsters or from up to several meters away. The emblem of the Mandalorian Assembly, along with the Mandalorian Defense Corps, glistened on the armor of all save the Legate himself. This time, he decided to come as more than simply Alor of the Fetts and Legate of the MDC. After all, Galaar was welcoming visitors to Concord Dawn that needed his assistance with a smithing request by the sounds of it. Slowly, the Mandalorian removes his T-visor helmet and sets it under his armpit as the several guards with him fanned out a bit, giving a good flanking posture. Their weapons in hand, but at ease, they kept their focus on the group, but also looked around the area, keeping a relative good lookout.
Quiet, for now, the Fett chief takes the flimsiplast and begins to go over the schematics. A magnetized pair of Westar-35 blaster pistols. These weren't just slight modifications as the visitor said they would be. After going over the details, he looks up at Ga'ab. The Mandalorian hands it back to the individual.Quite the modifications. I would hardly call these slight.Galaar rubs his chin slightly, thinking of how this could be achieved. The magnetization, alone, would require quite the bit of work to ensure it would work and not just operate half the time. It was a challenge, but the beskar smith felt it could be done with the right resources and time. He turns over his shoulder and makes a sharp whistle, causing one of the guards to come over.Send a transmission to Battered Helm. Have rooms arranged for this lot... put it down for an extended stay.A curt nod by the guardsman gave acknowledgement and then headed towards the skiff, keying his helmet as he did so. Galaar turned to the motley looking crew. An interesting request, compared to the former that was half spoken.I will see what I can do, Mister... didn't catch your name before.

New Mandalorian Wars- Prelude
Vera rolled herself back out from under the StarViper she had been working on. She lifts herself off the creeper she had been reclined on. The young woman had been working hard to modify her old ship for some time now, but the progress was slow between her duties as a Protector and her other projects. Using the pants legs of the jumpsuit she was wearing to clean her hands, Vera made her way to get a fresh up of water. After downing the glass, she wiped several beads of sweat from her brow and looked back over the schematics for her StarViper. She was attempting to update the power supply so that she could ultimately update the shields and weapons of the antique. It had been in her family's' possession for many generations and she seemed to be the first to attempt any kinds of updates. It was a frustrating challenge. But it was a good way to unwind. It was a controlled environment and something she could take at her own pace. This project had only been ongoing for a month but she had been a Protector for 3 years, nearly to the day. She sighed and picked up another spanner and wrench before kneeling down and climbing back on the creeper and rolling back under the StarViper.

**It had been a long time. Too long since Trojan came home. The cantina had the usual suspects lining up the bar. When he walked in, he was barely noticed. Just another lost soul entering, and collecting together at the same place and time. The last bounty was lucrative. A big bounty posted by some First Order higher up with chip on their shoulder. Seemed they wanted a promotion at any cost. Something Trojan didn't mind. Those types never lasted long anyways. Trojan removes his helm and places it carefully on the bar. The bartender recognizes him and nods, as a hefty highball of tihaar slides into his open hand. Trojan is careful to catch it with a cupped hand and grab it. He nods back to the barkeep and drinks a hefty first sip. Drinking away the nagging thoughts that always clouded his mind. Thoughts of being Dar'manda. Soulless. His Aliit'alor helped him find purpose again, but the thought always nagged him. Curse that dar'jetti scum. He had gotten his revenge, but it never seemed to satisfy him. After all, he was more machine than he was a Mando'a. And that would never change, no matter how many bounties or jobs he took. The end result was the same.** **He rubs his right hand with his left, as if he could feel it but couldn't. Like phantom pains of arthritis. Trying to pump blood into his hand.** **"Enough!" He chastises himself. His paranoia getting the better of himself. He shuffles to the end of the bar. Waiting for something. Anything to break up the monotony. Hopefully Galaart would contact him soon.**
