Larissa smirked slightly at Viox's last statement. If this boy proved to be a nuisance, she had leave to dispose of him. It was a comforting thought.
"I think we're done here. I would like to meet with the boy before we strike the Academy. Amsel, you'll have to send for the leaders of law enforcement so we can begin whipping them into shape. I'm hoping that we can have everything there wrapped up by the time I get back from the Academy. Send for me when they get here."
At Justice Minister Amsel's nod Larissa stood to leave the room. She wanted to meet the boy before going back to Lysandra.
"Are you planning on meeting with the boys now, or later? I would like to be there when you do meet with him."

As Larissa rose, so did Savage. And then she spoke. Savage listened and replied in turn.
"I was planning on heading down to the medical center to see how my new asset is recovering right away. Contacting Bennette and Harper will be next after that. I know nothing of the resistance at the Academy or in Wortan. Both Bennette and Harper need to be made aware of the situation before hand so they know what to expect."
And with that, Savage motioned for Larissa to begin walking out the door ahead of him.
"Mi'lady..."

Larissa smiled and led the way out of the Golden Room. She crossed the hall and paused in front of the turbo lifts.
"Are you sure that we will be able to trust this boy? He did attack you. Granted, you had just killed his master, but this has the possibility of going sideways."
The lift opened and she stepped inside, spinning around quickly to face Viox as he entered.
"I hope this boy proves reliable. It would be nice to have a useful person with me at the Academy. Not to disparage your troops, my dear, but another Force user will be to far greater benefit than your soldiers."

Savage listened to her as she spoke. Upon entering the lift and having the doors slide shut, he finally spoke.
"This boy is merely a test. If he succeeds, I will find a use for him. If he fails, he won't be a problem. Trust does not enter the equation. I don't trust him. But his fear of me is well founded. I suspect he will be compliant. As for my troops, you underestimate them. The Academy will be the easier of the two remaining targets. Besides, you know me well enough to know I wouldn't send mere soldiers to deal with an Academy full of Sith Acolytes. Grand Admiral Bennette will be providing over watch as well as the full support of my remaining Shadow Troopers. Zhaboka Company will be under your command for the duration. But first, let's go see our new asset."
The lift took them down to the ground level of the Palace, where the infirmary was located. Savage strode out of the lift as soon as the doors parted. He wanted to see for himself how well the young boy had healed up and if he was eager to aid him or not.

As the assault on the Sith Academy continued, the new ruler of Iridonia was left to his own devices. Malidris had been pacified easily enough. Minimal losses to both his forces, city security and civilians. It would make his ability to stay in power that much easier. But ever since he had seated himself on the throne, something was been nagging at his subconscious. The Force was trying to point him in a direction. One he did not know where it led. It disturbed him. Flashes of a vision had crept into his mind every time he closed his eyes. Something was trying to call out to him. Get him to do something. So it was time to try and focus on it. The adjoining chamber to the main Throne Room was a meditation chamber. Filled with stone obelisks with runes carved into them. They served to amplify the users power, allowing the user to clear their mind faster and gain greater clarity on whatever it was the chose to meditate on. As Savage entered the room, he shed his cloak. He walked to the center of the room and knelt down. He closed his eyes and allowed the Force to flow freely through his being. The raw Force, neither light nor dark. It would serve to aid him on his quest for clarity...though it would take some time before anything started to make sense...

Iridonia. Malidris. Dark Diamond Palace, Golden Room Meditation Chamber.
As Savage sat on the floor of the meditation chamber, legs crossed, multiple visions jumped through his mind. Visions of several different tomb looking structures, carved out of the hillside. Immense sensations of dark power pulled on his perceptions. And then a voice echoed within his mind. Quietly at first, but growing louder. Eventually Savage could make it out.
Son of Savage...expected, you have been. We must meet. Come to my Tomb...Talk in person we shall...
Eyes still closed, Savage frowned. There was an air of familiarity about the voice, though he couldn't quite place it. As he pondered the familiarity of the voice, a vision danced within his head. This time, it specifically showed a path through the Iridonian terrain towards a very old looking tomb. Weathered and worn wooden doors sat ajar. And a great power echoed from within. And then the vision disappeared. Savage's eyes snapped open. He knew where he needed to go. And he would...

Iridonia, Maladris. Dark Diamond Palace, Golden Room Meditation Chamber.
Savage was once again seated on the floor of the meditation chamber, legs crossed, eyes closed. Whispers of several long dead Zabrak elders echoed within his head. For the time being, he ignored them. Right now, he needed to center himself. A lot had happened in a very short span of time. Taking in the power of the elders was exhausting, yet revitalizing all at the same time. His senses were heightened to levels he had only ever dreamed of achieving. His reflexes were even sharper than before and the raw strength he now possessed was unparalleled. With this new found strength, soon he would be able to enact his plan. So very soon. And as long as he played his cards right, he would emerge victorious, standing above it all. But first he had a few pawns to bring into the mix...

Iridonia, Dark Diamond Palace, Golden room - Post Invasion
Alex leaned against a wall while awaiting Lord Savage and his guest. He knew a bit of what the Sith'ari plans were, but not enough to put together the whole picture. He closed his one eye that was still visible and began to meditate to gain some clarity.
A few moments later
A burst of images began to hit Alex's mind they were of two figures, a tall one and a shorter one, clouded in darkness. The taller one seemed to be drenched in blood. Alex opened his eye, and wiped away the sweat off of his brow. Something about the pair in his vision terrified him in a way that the Sith'ari did when they first meet. Whatever this meant he would inform his master once he arrived. With that he closed his eye again and proceeded to await Lord Savage.

Iridonia - Dark Diamond Palace. Golden Room.
The lift slowed to a halt. The doors slid opened and the Sith'ari stepped out of the lift, striding through the Golden Room to the Throne Room at the center. He passed his protege, Alex Witwer, in the process. Witwer, taking on the mantle of Lord Znalost after the Sith Academy assault, was a valuable assest to the Sith'ari. He was eager to seek out knowledge and was greatly helpful in translating the Tome of the Ancients. Were it not for Znalost's aid, Viox would have been no further ahead than his father had been. And the bonus, Znalost was not interested in the power the Tome offered. He was simply content with the knowledge it contained. While very un-Sith like, Savage welcomed the young man's ambition to uncover the galaxy's secrets. It has proved useful so far. The moment Znalost proved otherwise, well, then Viox would have to revisit their arrangement. Motioning for the young man to follow, Savage entered the vast throne room. Highly polished white marble floors, gold clad pillars and at the center, a gold and onyx throne fit for the Sith'ari. Seating himself in the throne, Savage eyed up Znalost. He looked troubled.
"What seems to troubling you, boy?"
Savage normally had little patience for this sort of thing, but due to Znalost's value, he attempted to feign interest and concern in the boy's well being.

Iridonia, Dark Diamond Palace, Golden room
Alex began to follow his Master, all the while still thinking about the vision he was granted by the force. He tried his best to hide it but to no avail as Lord Savage asked him a question.
"Well mi'lord it seems the force has granted me a vision of two figures clouded in darkness, one drenched in blood and towering over the other one. I am unsure what to make of this, and thought it was best to inform you of it."
Once finished informing the Sith'ari of the vision, he awaited for Lord Savage's response to this matter. Alex hoped that the Sith'ari would know what it meant.

Iridonia - Dark Diamond Palace. Golden Room - Throne Room.
Savage arched an eyebrow as he listened. Two figured clouded in darkness...one drenched in blood towering over the other...vague and too unspecific to allow Savage to make even an educated guess as to what it could mean.
"Indeed. I know not what to make of this either, however I have faith that all shall be made clear soon..."
Hearing the other lift arrive, Savage grinned.
"Ah yes, our special guest..."
He waited for his armored guest to reach the Throne Room before continuing to speak.

With that being said Alex proceeded to take his place to the right of the throne while his Master awaited his guest. The fact that not even Lord Savage knew what it meant bothered Alex something dark and sadistic was coming this he knew for sure.

The lift arrived at its destination. The doors parted, revealing the immaculate condition of the Golden Room. Sparkling gold, shimmering marble and eloquently dressed staff and servants scurried about. Akrak felt out of place as we walked across the highly polished floors, boots clicking with each step, towards the Throne Room at the very center of the Golden Room. As he entered the Throne Room, he took note of the ornate gold and onyx throne that the Sith'ari had seated himself on.
Suiting, he thought to himself. If I was to rule over a planet, I'd prefer to do it in comfort and style.
Catching his eye was the other being present. A heavily mauled human male. Fairly young by the looks of him. And fairly recently patched up, as the edges of the scars visible from beneath his face mask were still pink. The human male also had a cybernetic arm. Whatever happened to him, he seemed to have emerged stronger for it. Approaching the Throne, Akrak stopped a few feet away from the seated Zabrak.
"You play a good game, Sith'ari. I will give you that. Your offer intrigues me. Provided you cease your threats, I think we can work together..."
Akrak's pointed accent, along with the mechanical enhancements of the helmet and mask, made his voice echo strangely in the room. Without shifting his seemingly vacant gaze from the seated Zabrak, he sank to one knee.
"What is your bidding, my King?"

Iridonia - Dark Diamond Palace. Golden Room- Throne Room.
As the large and brutish Sith sank to one knee, a small but devious smile crept onto his lips. His eyes lit up mischievously. With this Sith joining his cause, he was one step closer to fulfilling his ultimate goal. Making no effort to hide his smug confidence, Savage rose from the throne.
"Indeed. I think you will find working for the Blackguard will be quite rewarding, Akrak. Once I have established enough of a following, we will get to work. Until then, however, our base of operations, the Academy here on Iridonia, will serve our purposes well."
As he began to pace the room, hands clasped behind his back, he thought about what he would assign Akrak to do. Being a large individual with considerable size and most likely the strength to back it up, Akrak would make to be a good Ravager. Imposing brutes with skills in lightsaber combat. If this Sith was a tough as he looked, he would be established as one of the very first Ravagers of the Blackguard Reborn. More would come. But for now, having Akrak as one of the main defenders of the Academy would prove very useful. Wandering back over to where Akrak was kneeling, Savage spoke once more.
"You would do well as a Ravager for the Blackguard, I think. However, I need to witness your skills first hand. Come. There is a private sparring arena near by. My personal one, in fact. Blademaster Clarell will be the one to test your skills with a blade. If you succeed, you will become a Ravager. If you fail...well I don't think I need to reiterate the price for failure..."
Savage trailed off, looking at the kneeling Sith before him. After a few seconds of thoughtful staring, Savage abruptly began leaving the room, motioning for Witwer and Akrak to follow.
"Come. The makings of something truly wonderful shall now begin to unfold..."
And with that, Savage, followed closely by his Honor Guards, made his way to the far side of the Golden Room, where the Sith'ari's personal training chambers were located.

Beneath his helm, Akrak's jaw flexed in mild annoyance.
This Sith'ari was taking entirely too much pleasure in having another submit to his will. Though, come to think of it, Akrak would probably be the same or worse. After all, having another submit to your will, willingly or otherwise, was one of the central points of being a Sith.
As the Zabrak mentioned Akrak becoming a Ravager, he grinned. It sounded like the ideal position within this fledgling faction. But then he mentioned a test. Not exactly what he had in mind, but in order for the Sith'ari to truly assess his skills, he would comply. And with an Academy at his disposal, it seemed fitting to utilize all the resources available. Rising to his feet to follow the Zabrak and his guards, he noticed the scrawny human male following suit. If this was the competition, Akrak would happily break him to gain his spot within the Blackguard.

Iridonia - Dark Diamond Palace. Golden Room- Throne Room
Alex listened to Viox as he spoke to the Armor clad Sith. Blackguard thought Alex, so this is what Lord Savage was up to. This revelation of an old order being reborn shouldn't have surprised him, since this is something that Alex would expect Lord Savage to do. With the Armor clad Sith joining Alex could tell that everything was coming together for the Sith'ari. Once they both were done talking Alex proceeded to follow both Lord Savage and this Armor clad Sith Lord. Alex found himself looking forward to watching the Armored Sith in combat against the blademaster. This would be something Alex would want recorded into a holocron so that future Students and of course other members of the blackguard could watch and learn.

* Thrakk makes his way through the Golden Room, it seemed those he was here to meet had just left. Making his way down a few halls, he came out onto a balcony overlooking a sparring/training area. Below him where the the three other Sith he knew had come to answer the Call of the Blackguard. Taking the opportunity to observe, Thrakk simply leans back casually against the wall behind him and watches *

Dark Diamond Palace - Golden Room. Sparring Arena.
As they trio entered the sparring arena, Savage spread his hands in a wide gesture.
"It is here where you will be tested. Both of you. I know combat is not your specialty, Znalost, so you will be providing combat support for our newest member."
Turning to Akrak, Savage grinned
"You will be pushed to the limits of your combat prowess. You will partake in three trials. Each of varying difficulty. As the Blademaster is still on her way, the trials will commence with something fairly simple..."
Trailing off, Savage walked to the raised platform at the center of the arena. As he stepped on, the platform hissed and began to rise above them. Calling out from his new found location on top of the repulsor platform, he continued speaking. His voice boomed throughout the room.
"Prepare yourselves. This is life or death here. No weapon restrictions what-so-ever...begin!"
As the platform drifted along, the floor began to shift. Where the raised platform had been, a Sith holocron encased in an ornate looking display case rose up out of the floor. On the seperate platforms on either side, a Krath War Droid rose up as well. But that wasn't all. Two doors opened at the end of the room. A few minutes passed as a faint metallic clanking could be heard. Out of the door on the left, a legion of B1 Battle Droids marched forwards. Though outdated and certainly outmatched against the likes of Akrak and Znalost, these droids were merely there for suppressive fire. Emerging out of the door on the right were several heavily armored Phase III Darktroopers. The massive walking tanks were several that had remained from the Dantooine invasion. As the large Darktrooper lumbered forwards, the B1 Battle droids opened fired. Blaster fire rang out towards Akrak and Znalost...

* Remaining on the viewing balcony that served as a place for people to watch the training sessions, Thrakk stood motionless with his arms crossed over his chest. The first trial that Savage had begun was impressive, From what he could tell it would force those involved to engage the immediate threat which was the Dark Troopers but also evade and defend from the blaster fire coming from the B1 battle droids; and then of course there was the Krath War Droid to deal with as well. Though a simple combat situation for those adept in the ways of the force and combat things could get out of hand fairly quickly. Focusing to much on the threat in front of you could get you gunned down, and in turn focusing on deflecting the blaster fire could get you backed into a corner and over whelmed. But all in all what Thrakk took from the exercise was attrition, this first exercise had the potential to wear someone out which could lead to problems during the next two trials. He liked what he saw, it was very close on how he trained his Hands.
As Savage raises up on his platform, Thrakk knew that his presence would not go unnoticed for much longer. Taking the initiative he steps forward slightly into the light and looks straight at the Dark Lord who had summoned him here to take part in the Black Guard*

So, the goal here was to survive and retrieve the holocron. Simple enough, but the forces opposed to them were considerable.
As the blaster fire rang out in their direction, Akrak's lightsaber was in hand. The crimson blade sprang to life as the armored Sith deflected and redirected blaster shots at the B1 Battle Droids. Gathering the Force around him, he back-flipped to some cover. The Darktroopers were the immediate threat. The Battle Droids were merely interference. And the Krath War Droids standing on either side of the holocron were the final enemy between him and his goal. But they hadn't moved yet. Likely they were to engage once the Darktroopers and droids were taken care of. Scanning the area, he needed a plan. And while he was physically strong and proficient with the Force, unless he worked together with Znalost, neither of them would get through this trial alive. Calling out to the Znalost, his metallic voice carried over the sounds of battle. His pointed accent still distinguishable.
"The holocron is our prize. But the Darktroopers are the immediate threat. We are being forced to work together to overcome this trial. Any suggestions?"
Akrak deftly deflected back more blaster shots, downing the droids that had fired them. If they didn't come up with something soon, they'd be overwhelmed...
