Kruor had been confident in the hopes that his surprise attack would be... well, surprising. Perhaps it was the coordination lost with his previous injuries that tipped off his opponent - perhaps he was just predictable. In any case, Kruor was still hopeful, even as the mercenary closed the distance between the two combatants. The vibrosword flew through the air at an incredible speed, though not quite enough to catch up to the bounding bounty hunter. As the mercenary raised his baton for what would be a vicious feint, Kruor ducked, losing concentration on his mental grip of the vibrosword.
Luckily, as the mercenary rolled off to the side, Kruor had also been moving in anticipation for a deadly blow to the head. As the mercenary disappeared from site, the vibroblade found a new home firmly implanted in the dirt in front of the Kissai. Straightening his back, there was only a second to turn around and engage his opponent - since he didn't know where that opponent was, however, the Sith's timing was off. Before he had a chance to even reactivate his lightsaber, Kruor felt the familiar spike of pain that quickly shot through and enveloped his entire body.
The baton-turned-electrostaff had done its job well. Despite the Sith Lord's many years of being subjected to similar torture, never had he been tested so thoroughly. The baton had drove into the gash on the Kissai's lower back, making the pain from the shock unbearably intense. Shivering with electric pulses, the Sith Lord was driven to his knees. Letting his lightsaber hilt fall from his fingers as he fell, the Sith Lord let out a howl of pain and agony - the raw emotion was as palpable in the air as it was painted on Kruor's face.
Now all that was left was the finishing blow...

Gotcha. As soon as the tip of the staff made contact, the mercenary was bringing his blaster to bear on the target, lining his next shot up with the sith lord's spine between the shoulder blades. There would be no final words to taunt the man as he died, no last farewell to delay what was about to happen, only the low chirp of the blaster to break the silence as he fired three bolts in rapid succession.

Well well welly welly well. I have to say this duel was at first a hard read (maybe because I just woke up) but upon rereading it, it was actually really fun. Im going to get the suspense right out of the way Bloodshot has managed to pull the win off. Bloodshot: Very good duel, right from the start you took the initiave trying to put Krour on the defensive but soon switched over to the counter attack method once he was close enough. You always had him guessing, slightly because of the vagueness of your profile but to each their own. Once their you just pushed and pushed and pushed until the unstoppable force was stopped. Might I make a suggestion, the force power that you used is similar to that of the Matukai so it may make sense to know some limitations on it. Krour: Good job you rolled with what was given to you, twice you tried to get the momentum on your side and both times you were just outthought. It happens to all of us and you managed to keep a level head through it. Your moves were well thought out and explained leaving no doubt what you were doing and I always love banter in my reads. Good job to both of you and I hope to see you back in the GBA soon Any questions or concerns PM me or one of my fellow judges Xeonon Solomon

The evasion did indeed prevent the secondary baton strike, though given the length of the sword's blade (which was tailored to the frame of a six and a half foot tall being) and the length of the Umbaran's reach, it would also allow just enough time for his next attack to come full circle, literally, before the other man could retaliate. Predictable as always, jedi.Instead of fighting the momentum of his swing and trying to grind the blow to a halt, the mercenary allowed it to carry him through into a three hundred and sixty degree rotation. Halfway through the spin, he swung the baton out and back (as his opponent is momentarily on his left side), extending it to four feet as he did so and aiming for the same section of ribcage he'd previously targeted with his sword. His opponent's forward momentum would prevent a dodge similar to the last one he used, and his lightsaber would sweep through the empty space where his knee had been a moment before as he pivoted on his left leg and brought his right back behind him to complete the spin in a semblance of his starting defensive posture. With the obvious difference being the baton strike, of course, which carried far more kinetic energy than it would have previously, given the full rotation that had been put behind the strike, as well as the electrical current inherent in the weapon. Hi mate. I know I have posted and I have done so to the best of my ability as I understand your move. However I would like to raise some issues, one being that I didn't know the length of your weapon and It wasn't on your profile and secondly from how I read your post it sounds as though you are giving me little room for movement in stating that you are moving before I can retaliate which I feel is unfair and borders very closely upon calling a hit. However this is just my viewpoint. I will leave it up to you if you wish to edit or not. In return I can and will edit my response, I don't want this to effect the duel and am more than happy to continue. So far I think its a close match and I have been enjoying it.
