*I couldn't help but raise a quizzical eyebrow at this; she proposed that the Jen'Saarai followed some form of philosophy that according to her followed the path of "the Light." Yet she mentioned that the organisation was also in a relationship with the Dark side as such the Order was considered by others as non purest, so what exactly did that mean.
Clearly the term Jedi could not be applied, but if I was correct then she was implying that the Jen'Saarai believed there was a way to harness or even adhere to some aspects of the evil Dark side, powers I myself had tapped into and yet still walk a righteous path, was this possible, or was this just a dangerous lure.
It sounded like a honeyed trap, but I could detect no untruth from her, what she spoke she believed true, so was there then some fate in this, was it possible I had found the source of salvation, I knew for certain I needed to learn more.
"How do you claim to retain adherents to the light side if you practice and use the dark side, how is such a balancing act possible?"
*I knew the question to be direct, but I needed answers, I had struggled to control what I could only conceive of as rage, if it were possible to achieve an equilibrium between light and dark then perhaps I could serve a purpose, not perhaps the purpose I had envisioned but a purpose nevertheless and the force did work in mysterious ways.*

Just a few techniques usually performed through the Dark side, but are possible through the Light. While Darksiders and Sith would use these particular techniques with malicious intent as well as to forcefully siphon the Living Force to perform these abilities, we Jensaarai perform these techniques with no corruption in our intents with them. We approach these techniques while ourselves are still in inner-peace regardless of emotions, and more importantly, we spiritually approach the Living Force in having it aid us in performing these abilities of it's own will." The Nautolan explained to the Forceful. She hoped what she explained made sense. Getting philosophical about approaches to the Force could confuse some of those in the galaxy. Some unfortunately couldn't wrap their heads around it. "However, though we perform these techniques with the Light side and with the will of the Force beside us, usage of these techniques has brought ourselves toward an area of the Force some consider too close to the edge that leads to the Dark side. Those in our order walk in that very fine edge between the Light and Dark sides I guess, but as far as I'm concerned, it only allows us to notice corruption from the Dark side even the Jedi can't notice being too far to the Light side. Just like real light itself, the Light side of the Force can be quite blinding to oneself if it's strong enough." =Reina Redsummit= Smiling at what Iaso said last, Reina placed her hand to her chin as she repeated what the Nautolan told the patient."Just like real light itself, the Light side of the Force can be quite blinding to oneself if it's strong enough.I should message you saying that to the Saarai-kaar. It sounds really deep and to the core of why we practice the Force the way we do." =Iaso Narezz= Making a soft chuckle and smile at the Miraluka, the Nautolan kindly responded."Thanks Reina." Looking back at Cloudrunner, Iaso questioned."Does that answer you, Mister Aquilas? I know it can be a little confusing, but the Jensaarai ways are quite in balance with the Force. We don't wish to follow the lies the Dark side tries to whisper in all of our ears, but even the purity of the Light side isn't so great either. Pure isn't always good." =Kojak the Farmer= Listening to the conversation, Kojak couldn't really understand what the Forceful's were talking about. A bunch of religious talk he wasn't familiar with. He had heard before about the Light sides and Dark sides of the Force, but he didn't know much about what they were. Instead, he just thought of Smashball as hearing all of the religious chatter made him think of it to not let his mind strain from all the information being taught in the room.

*So the Jen'Saarai did not wholly embrace the Dark side just used some of its powers, and yet she suggested that one could access these powers without succumbing to the pull of the dark side, how one achieved inner peace whilst using the darker sides of the force I did not know. It did seem not perhaps impossible but difficult, it would take a mental state of mind I didn't yet have. I had drawn on the dark side before and it had pulled me where it wanted me to go, I lost control and direction.
However as she continued to speak I understood that as she said, the Jen'Saarai played a possibly dangerous balancing act within themselves and could view both light and dark impassively as it would seem.
Then her words struck me; the light was as blinding as the darkness was overshadowing: I had never thought of this before, yet in an odd way it made sense, light could illuminate, but only what was before you, and as she correctly said, if ones light was too bright then they became blinded, just so as darkness could blind.
These Jen'Saarai then, they stood back from both light and dark and viewed the force impartially, almost as observers and claimed they could see things those steeped in either philosophy could not; how interesting.
I rubbed my forehead thoguhtfully.*
"It gives me a lot to think about, answers. well answers can only be gained in truth by the one seeking them, I won't believe your words less I view it for myself. Yet if what you say is true then I would certainly like to learn from the Jen'Saarai to see if I can in time too find my inner balance."

Would you like to go with us to the temple here on Contruum?" =Iaso Narezz= "If we go there, I can sense that the Saarai-kaar is still there. While we're on the way there, we can look at the holo of the convocation earlier and see what he said about those missions he's been planning. He might even ask if you'd want to participate in any of them." The Nautolan said. It seemed like she and Reina were going to leave with Aquilas soon to visit their Saarai-kaar. Kojak however nearby would more than likely return back to the farm he owned to see his wife. However, Iaso had a strange feeling given to her by the Force that this wouldn't be the last time they'd see Kojak. She sensed that somehow, perhaps in the very near future, he'd be doing a great service for those on Contruum and working alongside the Jensaarai.

*I stretched out in the force, steadied my mind, I breathed evenly in and out, there was only stillness no discomfort or feelings of unrest or deceit.
So was this it then, was there truth in what she said, could I learn this balancing act, was it possible that the force had guided me here and now I had found a path, not the path I had envisioned, not the path I had dreamed of, but perhaps a path nonetheless and one that may not be any less worthy.
I rose and moved to the screen dressing in the simple clothes they had picked for me.
There was only one way in which I could determine the truth and that was through first hand experience.*
"Very well, I am ready to come with you and interested to learn and be taught."
*Even if this was not my path then I would have narrowed my options and I would have learned things along the way.*

I too am ready." She then looked to Iaso."Just told the meddroid to tell the admins we'll be leaving for the temple." =Iaso Narezz= Iaso nodded to Reina."That's fine with me. They have the temple's contact info, so if they need a healer from the order, they can contact us through that way. I'm prepared to go too." =Kojak the Farmer= Walking over to Aqulias, Kojak offered his right hand for a handshake as he made eye-contact with the Forceful."I suppose this will be goodbye for now. Need to check on the wife back at the farm. Have a good feeling though we'll meet again someday."

*Rising I stood to join them, I fidgeted, uncertainty gripping me. I then found the face of Kojak and he gave me somewhat of a Fatherly firm nod, no smile, but there was a keenness in his eyes, his eyes narrowed slightly and his bottom lip turned down as though supporting and encouraging my decision, and in truth it helped.
I was young and frankly rather alone, his help and support thus far had led to my survival and that paternal nod that said; "Kid, everything will be alright." Was what I needed.
I stepped forward toward him and smiled, held out my hand and shook his firmly sending an almost loving warmth through the force.*
"I hope so Kojak, I am forever in your debt and will always remember that I am."
*I thanked the droids and medical team, it wasn't necessary to thank droids, they didn't require thanks as gentle beings did, but it was part of my programming, they had be it via programming and design helped me, much as I was sure they had and would proceed to help others, for what else could they do, alas still without them and the vision of their creators I would not have made such a swift recovery.
I then turned toward my now custodians, my guides, for no better word, I would thank them too for they had healed me far beyond what a skilled doctor or droid could and perhaps had begun a healing on a much more personal level.*

Adjusting the hat on his head, the farmer turned around and began to make his way out of the medical facility. He'd find his way to the closest place to call a hovercab to him, then ask it to take him back to his farm outside the city.=Iaso Narezz & Reina Redsummit= Nodding in recognizing his thanks, both the Jensaarai ladies smiled at Aquilas and gestured he follow them out of the medical room. If they were to go to the temple, it was best to do so now. They'd make their way into the hallways of the medical facility, then go to a skydock outside which had on it a PL-90 airspeeder. A personal airspeeder owned by the order itself that was being borrowed by the two girls during their stay at the facility. They'd then get into the airspeeder, with Iaso getting into the pilot seat. Reina stood outside, letting their former patient decide if he wanted to ride shotgun next to the Nautolan lady, or if he wanted to sit in the one of the seats in the back. If Aquilas decided to sit in the back, Reina would sit next to him. Regardless, Iaso would wait for Aquilas to get in and tell her to begin their flight to the Jensaarai temple.

I followed the duo out of the medical ward and then into a turbolift, the ride and remainder of the journey was performed in silence, I fidgeted uncomfortably unsure what to say to these two females.
The lift ascended swiftly enough, then I followed them down a corridor and through a set of automatic sliding doors onto a wind swept landing pad; above which roared the occasional speeder, I stopped a little uncertain then Iaso leaped nimbly into the pilots seat with Reina looking up at me expectantly. She smiled and gestured to the spare seat at the front beside the driver or at the rear.
I shrugged and moved toward the speeder hopping over the side and slid into the snug seat beside Iaso, she grinned then gunned the engines and the vessel shot off at a rather alarming rate making me feel I had left my stomach back on the landing pad. Yet I couldn't fault her skill, for she junked and jinked between passing and on coming craft with a nerve and skill I had never seen, let alone been party too, on occasion I felt my face contort into a wince, as I gritted teeth when she flew close to a large transport, yet not once did she falter, and soon we were away from the maelstrom of commuter traffic and headed toward the outskirts.

Darragh woke from unconsciousness for the second time that day. His head felt like a split log and his back was stiff and burned as if it were on fire. When he tried to sit up, his chest seared with pain, sending him to his back again. His breath caught in his chest as pain racked his sides and back, but after several long, silent moments, Darragh realized the pain was fading. It felt reactionary more than anything, as if his body were just waking up to the injuries it had sustained. He tweaked his arms and legs a bit, and eventually was able to sit upright, with little more than soreness resulting from his movements. Darragh clenched his fists and then opened them, shaking his arms out. He tossed his head back and forth, cracking his neck, then swung his arms about, doing his back as well. "Ahhhgh, that feels bloody good!" He cried, slapping his hands down onto the side of the bed on which he sat. Looking around, Darragh spotted a youthful nurse attending another patient, who had been draped over with a single bed sheet. He jumped down from the bed and sauntered over to her, leaning against the patient's bed and flicking the bottom of the foot that protruded from the sheet. "So, miss? Wha's he in fer? Gotta case of the crotch rot, does he?" Darragh quipped, then reached down and grabbed his groin, shaking it a bit. "Just so ya know, I don' have the crotch rot. Me willy's clean as a whistle." The nurse looked at him, aghast. She pointed down at the patient. "He's dead." Then she pointed at Darragh. "And I wouldn't touch your pole, with a ten foot pole." With that the woman turned on her heel and walked out of the room. Darragh grinned and looked over her rear as she left. As the door slid shut behind her, Darragh clicked his tongue and looked over to the dead patient. "Well tha's too bad, mate," Darragh said as he slapped the dead patient's leg. "I'll be seein' ya mate! But 'opefully not for a few years." He made his way toward the door, hoping to catch another glimpse of that nurse before returning to the city proper, and hopefully his weapons.
