I wasn't surprised by that. Hell, people had been watching me since I was born. A few more wouldn't hurt, or at least, wouldn't hurt me.
-Marcos (in mando'a) I'm use to being watched. How long before I can get a shuttle down to the planet?

He had to think this one through, honestly if he said it was an emergency he could probably get a ship prepped and ready in less than an hour. However this wasnt an emergancy and there were still the people on board that needed to be appeased. When a guy no matter what species shows up on your door step with his ship full of bodies and blood; its hard to make them think you are here for good reasons. I could probably get one ready in a few hours. In the mean time feel free to get some chow, sleep. Do whatever it is you do for fun. Then with a brain blast We have a gym if you want to party with some of the troopers.
Outside the three men standing there groaned. They had hoped to keep this guy cooped up so there wouldnt be any problems. All of them were hooked up to the ships intercoms and word of this mysterious blood covered Iridonian had spread like wildfire. When a ship was in port for so long the men and women would cling to anything out of routine like men stranded in the ocean to a life raft.

I take a moment to think it over. Yes a little partying would be nice, but I had also had a long day. It had already been going on eighteen hours before I decided to make a run for it. Then there was the extremely boring part of spending nearly thirty hours jumping in & out of hyperspace to reach the planet. From the sound of it, I wouldn't be lacking in either time or people to party with.
-Marcos (in mando'a) Right. First, I need something to eat. Then, I need sleep. After that we can see about having fun with the crew.

Oh dont worry I got something you can eat big boy A devilish smile appeared on his face today is meatloaf day on the ship. He truly didnt even know if Marcos had an inkling of an idea for what that food may be. We can get it brought here if you want? Or would you prefer to go to the source?

I nod. Taking out my datapad, I quickly connect it to the small device that was translating the conversation so far. It didn't take me long figure out the correct chunk to download so that my datapad could continue translating. It was a rather simple, if massive, program. Attaching the datapad to one of my pauldron tactical slots & setting it to audio broadcast, I motion for the sabre-nut to lead the way.
-Marcos (In mando'a/translated to basic) Right, now I should be able to talk with everyone more or less freely. Lead the way, I'm famished.

Leaving the room he nodded to the three men who had been watching. When he was followed by the Iridonian well its safe to say they were pissed, they had wanted to do the real Imperial interrogation. Thankfully for Marcos he was not going to get it. Why? Partially because they did not want to fuck with the right hand man of Xeonon Solomon and partially because the thought of being alone with a Mandolorian terrified them.
Walking into the mess hall much of the room was already bustling with activity as people walked to their tables with plates of food. Others were already sitting and talking loudly so as to be heard over everyone else who was talking loud. As they walked by people though they fell silent, they recognized there was something different about the new guy but they did not know what. Still they all stared. Ready for some chow?

I don't bother replying, instead grabbing one of the trays & loading it down with food. It probably wasn't more than 20,000 or so calories, but it was a good start to get caught up with. Parties are lots of fun, but most energy rations taste like reprocessed waste ... which they may in fact be. I'll have to look it up.
Making my way to a pair of empty seats, I take one & leave the other open for the sabre-nut. The others in the room can go & blow themselves if they wanted to party right now. I was eating after all.

Well things were not getting any quieter. Now word had spread all over the mess hall that the Iridonian that had showed up covered in blood was here. If anything things got louder. Of course no one approached him but those at hte table he sat at sure gave him looks. Eh buddy what they say true?
Of course at this exact moment Finnick sat down beside Marcos and the others. The guy who had asked the question looked away quickly. Finnick held a reputation to be a person not to be annoying around. He was brash and to the point and when people were annoying made him get irritated. Good food?

I quickly begin working my way through the small stack of food. Most of it was things I hadn't ever had before. I was somewhat curious if the food was supposed to taste like it did, or if that was just the result of a less then stellar cook.
-Marcos (in Mando'a/ trans. to basic) It is filling, but it needs more flavour.

Finnick couldn't help but suppress a laugh. I mean like whats up with airline... space ship food? Finishing up his mouthful he couldnt help but nod his ascent The food does leave much to be desired but it does give you everything you need.

I nod again, focusing more on eating than on the conversation. Within a few minutes, I had finished the first pile of food & returned to fill my plate. Before long, that to was devoured. Settling back somewhat, I look around to see what was done with the trays once you were finished. Apparently they were returned to be cleaned through a slot need the entrance to the mess. After motioning that I was done to the sabre-nut, I made my way over toward the exit. After I had returned the tray I turned to him.
-Marcos (Mando'a/ trans. to basic) A full belly is better than an empty one. Even if the quality is lacking. I assume that a bunk has been made up for me somewhere?

As the Mandos first plate was finished he couldnt help but watch as he went back up for seconds. In fact everyone watched. Most people found it rather gross and could not help but scarf it down to survive. However I guess when you are on a ship full of dead people you are a little crazy. By the time the next plate was grabbed those who had not yet left gawked, Finnick included this was a ship record. Still nibbling at his food the red headed force user nodded. Aye we have you a bed, mine. I dont need it, just need to meditate like the Jedi do and I am fully rested. You ready to finally get some sleep?

-Marcos (Mando'a/ trans. to Basic) That is perfectly fine. I will warn you that anyone who tries to touch me while I am sleeping is likely to lose fingers ... or limbs. Lead the way.
I motion for the Sabre-nut to show me to path to the quarters. I would probably pass out the moment I hit the bunk, but it wasn't anything ten or so hours of sleep wouldn't cure.

Nodding Finnick stood up and brought his plate to the dispenser and dropped it in. Bringing Marcos to the quarters originally set up for Finnick he showed him in. The bed is all for you, I will be sure not to touch you with anything that shouldn't be cut off.

A quick glance tells me this is a rather average room for a military ship or barracks. Stretching out as much as possible on the bed, I pass out nearly immediately.
As my eyes open again, the clock built into the wall tells me that I had been asleep for a little over ten hours. Sitting up, I stretch, letting out a series of pops & cracks. I would have to make sure that the bunk that I get long term is big enough to suit me. Other than the slight soreness, I feel much better than I did the day before. I figure the chances of the Old Man coming after me are roughly 50/50. Right now though, I'm more interested in finding the gym & getting warmed up. That, of course, means I need to find Sabre-Nut. I step over to the door & press the key to open it.

Finnick was quiet as a mouse. He had actually just been in the shadows on the other side of the room, unmoving he was looked over. Kneeling on the ground his blade floated in front of him as he delved in the force feeling it flow through him. His muscles tensing and untensing as he drew the force into each individual muscle. In his mind though things were not so calm, inside he was fighting an enormous battle. One amoung thousands in an army he was fighting to stem the tide of something, something he did not know about. This was all interrupted though when he felt a presence moving in the room he was in. Maybe startling Marcos he spoke slowly. Up and at em I see.

I didn't jump, but I was surprised. Somehow, the Sabre-Nut was quiet enough that I completely failed to notice him in the room. Which was mildly unsettling. I would have to keep a much closer eye out for him than I first thought. I quickly turn the datapad back on so that it could translate for me again.
-Marcos (Mando'a trans. to Basic) Well, you are a rather sneaky one. Is there time to hit the gym on the ship? Or is my ride waiting to carry me onward?

Standing up Finnick mused on it for a second. His ship had been there for a few hours prepped and ready but sleep was required. Depends do you want to go to the gym? Blow off some steam and show an old man like me how its done? Or just head down to the surface now and meet someone who will send you on the right path?

I had to consider that for a few moments. While heading down to the gym would be a great way to spend some time, it wasn't really something that was too important. On the other hand, the stuffy military types always seemed to be in a rush for one reason or another. After a few minutes of thought, I had made up my mind. I had technically signed on with these people, so I might as well go find out what it was that they had in store for me.
-Marcos (Mando'a trans. to basic) If the ship is ready then there is no reason to delay. Lead the way.

Awe yeah boy! Lets get this party started in here. Nodding Finnick smiled. Right this way my good sir. With that he led the Mando out of the room and through the maze of tunnels taking the longer route. Passing by the gym just for the sake of it he looked in and reached out with the force. Come down to the planet, same plan different location. Without missing a beat in his step the red head just kept on moving taking the rest of the route always open to the chance that his companion may have something to talk.
Eventually though they will come out to the hanger where a Lamda shuttle has been prepped and readied for them two black suited pilots waiting for them. Off to the right a dozen small fighters blast out of the hanger to begin their patrol route but other than that and a few technicians they were alone. Putting his index finger into his right ear he spoke down to someone down below. Yosemite this is Flavious Six the Eagle is leaving the nest. Awe yeah bitches made up code words. In more simple tones it was just letting the ground crew know they were on the way.
